      • 곰팡이에서 분리한 Helicobacter pylori 항균물질의 분리 및 구조규명

        Helicobacter pylori is a Gram-negative bacterium which causes chronic gastritis and is associated with gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and gastric carcinoma. In the process of screening of antibacterial activities against H. pylori from soil microorgani는, fungus No. 60686 was isolated. After fementaion of No. 60686, the antibacterial compound was isolated, purified and followed by extraction of mycelium with orgainic solvents, acetone and ethyl acetate, through silica gel chromatography, LH-20 gel chromatography and HPLC. As a result of the structural analyses of the compound by IR, ^1H- and ^13C-NMR, FAB/Mass spectrophotomer, the compound having the antimicrobial activity was idenfitied as chaetoglobosin A (C_32H_36N_2O_5), a cytochalasan derivative. The antimicrobial activity of chaetoglobosin A was tested against Gram-positive and negative bacteria by paper disk method. Among the test strains of 9 Gram-positive bacteria and 18 Gram-negative bacteria containing 4 H. pylori strains, the growth of 4 H. pylori strains and 3 S. aureus strains (SG 511, 285 and 503) was only inhibited by chaetoglobosin A. Also it was shown that its growth inhibition against H. pylori strains was stronger than that against S. aureus strains at the treatment of the same concentration. Therefore it was concluded that chaetoglobosin A has a specific growth inhibition against H. pylori of the tested bacteria.

        The Chonkyonggak was established as a kind of university library in Seongkyoonkwan by the earnest request of Prime Minister Hanmyonghoe at that time. It lasted about 400 years until the end of Lee Dynasty, taking the important and leading role as the only university library, which in my opinion has a very significant meaning. The purpose of this study is to discuss in various field of this, Chonkyonggak, the great university library of that period, about which the study is very insignificant, to investigate the establishment and modification, the function and system, and the library, of the Chonkyonggak in Seongkyoonkwon, and finally to try to find out the relationship between Seongkyoonkwon and the Chonkyonggak.

      • 와인딩 공정에서 접압롤의 동특성에 관한 연구

        In a web winding process, the contact roll plays many important roles in air entrainment control and WIT(Wound In Tension) regulation. The behavior of the contact roll significantly affects the winding tension characteristics specifically at the time of contact and separation when the tangential velocities of contact roll and winding roll are not synchronized. A new mathematical model which includes the behavior of the web tension, the winding roll, the carriage and the contact roll is derived for the control of the winding tension. By using the model derived, a non-linear PID(NPID) controller is designed to control the winding tension at the time of contact and separation between the contact roll and the winding roll. Computer simulation study showed that the performance of the winding system with the NPID controller was significantly improved compared with that of a system with PID controller.

        Verrucous mycosis fungoides is very rare variant of cutaneous T cell lymphoma that manifests verrucous crusted lesion and may be clinically misdiagnosed as a wart, deep fungal infection or atypical mycobacterial infection. If it is located acrally, it might then be better classified as mycosis fungoides palmaris et plantaris or pagetoid reticulosis. We report a case of solitary verrucous mycosis fungoides on the left knee in 25-year-old woman successfully treated ultraviolet A-1 phototherapy.

        키랄 HPLC를 이용한 라세미 케토프로펜의 광학분할

        케토프로펜은 비스테로이드 계통의 진통 및 소염제로서 류마티즘, 관절염 등을 위한 진통제나 해열제로 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 케토프로펜이 치료약으로 사용될 때 S-(+)-Ketoprofen이 주로 약리적 활성을 나타내고 R-(-)-Ketoprofen은 불활성이거나 오히려 부작용을 일으키는 문제점을 나타내고 있다. 본 연구에서는 케토프로펜 대장체(enantiomer)를 다양한 키랄 HPLC 칼럼을 이용하여 광학분할을 수행하면서 적합한 분리조건을 조사하였다. 고정상을 찾는 실험에서는 β-CD(β-cyclodextrin) BR®과 Kromasil® 칼럼을 이용하여 실험을 하였고, 이동상의 최적의 조성비를 찾는 실험도 수행하였다. 이 과정에서 라세미 Ketoprofen의 분리도는 사용된 키랄 고정상과 이동상의 조성비에 크게 영향을 받는다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 고정상으로는 Kromasil® 칼럼을 선택하고 이동상의 유속, 주입부피 그리고 주입농도가 라세미 Ketoprofen의 분리에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 실험결과 주입부피가 증가함에 따라서 분리도는 감소하였으나 이동상 유속이 증가함에 따라서 주입부피의 증가가 분리도에 미치는 영향은 점차 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었다. Ketoprofen, a phenylpropionic acid derivative, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID) that has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Pharmacological activity has been attributed mainly to the S-(+)-enantiomer, while the R-(-)-enantiomer is either inactive or has side effect. The optical separation of Ketoprofen enantiomers was carried out by various chiral HPLC(chiral high-performance liquid chromatography) columns and most compatible separation conditions of Ketoprofen enantiomers were investigated. The resolution and enantio selectivity of Ketoprofen were found to be strongly influenced by the employed chiral stationary phases(CSPs) and composition of eluents. The employed chiral stationary phases(CSPs) in this study were β-CD BR® and Kromasil®. The optimum composition of eluent was obtained differently for stationary material phase. The effects of process variables such as flow rate, injection volume, and concentration of eluent on Ketoprofen enantiomers separation were investigated using Kromasil® columns. The resolution decreased with the increase of injection volume, however, the effect became insignificant at higher flow rate.

      • Extended Photometric Stereo 에서의 오차 해석

        This paper presents a new approach of analyzing errors which are caused from nonideal general-purpose lighting environment when the Extended Photometric Stereo Method (EPSM) is applied to estimate the surface-orientation of a three-dimensional object. The light source is modeled as a point source that has a certain amount of beam angle and the luminance distribution on the irradiance plane is modeled as a gaussian or a linear function with different deviation and slope values, respectively. The simulation results are compared with the results of the experiment performed in the same way as the simulation.

        This study discusses the finite element approximation and the choice of elements is dictated by the need to perform accuate for both thin and thick shells and by the complexity of the sensitivity calculations. A number of very accurate plate and shell elements exist for which the sensitivity computation become hopelessly complex. On the other hand, most very simple elements, which would lend themselves to compact and efficient sensitivity computation, do not posses sufficient accuracy for routine use.

      • 계수 행렬의 삼각 분해에 의한 2-D 디지털 필터의 실현

        This paper proposes a new approach to the realization of 2-D FIR and IIR digital filters based on the triangular decomposition of the coefficient matrix of the filters. Decomposing the coefficient matrix of an arbitrary rational 2-D transfer funcition into the triangular matrix, the coefficient matrix can be realized in terms of polynomials of order one. The proposed method offers a number of attributes for VLSI implementation including high parallelism as well as great modularity, regularity, flexibility, and generality. And the method requires much less number of computations and register coefficients than that for the Singular, Jordan decomposition or canonical realization schemes. And the described method is also extensible to m-D digital filters.
