        Paraquat 중독환자의 초기검사로서 sodium dithionite를 이용한 소변내 paraquat검출의 임상적 의의

        Background : Mortality from paraquat intoxication depends upon plasma paraquat concentration. To know the severity of paraquat intoxication is important for directing therapeutic modality and predicting prognosis. Sodium dithionite test for urinary paraquat provides an easy and simple method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department. purpose : To determine whether the result urinary paraquat test by sodium dithionite can predict outcome in patients with paraquat intoxication in emergency department. Subjects : 48 patients(male 31, female 17, mean age 37 years) who had exposure to paraquat and presented within 24 hours after exposure. Result : Thirty five patients were positive in paraquat urine test and thirteen patients were negative. Clinical manifestations were more severe in positive patients than in negatives. Complication was much more in positives than in negatives. 28 of 35 patients(80%) in positives and 2 of 13 patients(15%) in negatives died. Conclusion : Positive test for urinary paraquat is associated with high mortality and morbidity from paraquat intoxication, and qualitative test for urinary paraquat by sodium dithionite is an useful method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department.

      • 동적 치아접촉순간의 교합안정성의 평가와 저작근활성의 상호작용에 관한 연구

        최적의 교합상태에 관한 선학들의 주장에 의할 것 같으면 하악이 교두간위로 교합되는 순간에 견치와 구치부의 가능한 한 많은 치아들이 대칭적이고 동시적인 치아접촉을 이룰 때 저작계의 모든 구성요소들이 상호 원만한 작용을 나타낼 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 치아나 악관절에 대한 과도한 부하를 방지할 수 있다고 하였다. 그러나 최근까지도 치아접촉에 대한 시간적 평가에 관한 연구는 희소하였으며, 더욱이 치아접촉이 일어나는 순간에 있어서의 동적인 교합상태를 분석하는 것은 매우 어려운 일 중에 하나였다. 저자들은 최근에 개발된 T-Scan system을 이용하여 치아접촉이 일어나는 동적인 교합순간에 치아접촉점의 위치와 시간을 측정하였으며, 이로부터 치아접촉점의 좌우균등성, 전후방 분포, 치아접촉점 사이의 평균시간간격 등을 평가하였다. 또한 이러한 치아접촉점의 기록과 동시에 Bioeletric processor EM2와 K6-Diagnostic system을 함께 사용하여 교근과 전측두근의 근전도를 기록한 후 각각에 대한 근활성 비대칭지수(Asymmetry index)를 계산하였다. 이상의 실험을 28명의 측두하악장애환자와 22명의 대조군을 상대로 실시하였으며 그 결과를 상호 비교하여 다음과 같은 결론은 얻었다. 1. 측두하악장애환자에 있어서 치아접촉점의 좌우균등성은 감소되어 있었으며 치아접촉점 사이의 평균시간간격도 연장되어 있었다. 2. 치아접촉점의 전후방 분포에 있어서는 측두하악장애환자와 대조군 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 초기치아접촉에서의 교합안정성은 측두하악장애환자와 대조군 사이에서 유의한 차이가 없었지만, 전체적인 교합안정성과의 관계에 있어서는 높은 상관관계를 보여주었다. 4. 측두하악장애환자에 있어서 전측두근의 근활성 비대칭지수가 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났지만, 교근의 근활성 비대칭치수는 유의한 차이를 보여주지 않았다.

        As I made use of S.A.S and middle quality calium carbonate derived from limestone buried very abundantly in korea, I produced basic aluminum sulfate and studies its ability to clean water and saline effect exerting influnceon it. The result is as follows: 1) B.A.S is less covenient than S.A.S, V.A.S, P.A.C because even the B. A. S liquid under 6 percentage as Alummium oxide should be used as an original liquid for the reason that the water mixed with the B.A.S makes the hydrolysis. 2) On the salimity percentage in each products, the difference between arithmatical estimete and experimental estimate is high in A and B products, and law in D and E respectively, It is caused by hydrolysis, and much concerned with the safety of products. 3) In the use of B.A.S as a cleanwater reagent, general water and waste can be cleaned by direct application of B.A.S without control of PH because of its wide varity of application. 4) Sodium Sulfate is efficient for saline because of its mixing effect with saline. 5) The adding volume of B.A.S is descend when applied to cleaning of water with high turbid degree of remaing, thus B.A.S is efficient cleanwater reagent for water high turbid degree of remaining. 6) Adding volume of our products B.A.S and Lime to water with law turbid degree of remaining are 200ppm and 50ppm respectively; adding volume of Lime is a quarter of that of B.A.S.

      • K형 강관접합부의 보강효과에 관한 실험적 연구

        In current design, the strength formula for a Gusset-Tube connections stiffened with rib-plate is proposed only in the limited case because of its complexity of the behavior. So in this study, experimental study and finite element analysis were performed to investigate the behavior and strength of a Gusset-Tube connections stiffened with rib-plate. Because of limitations in loading capacity, the specimens were fabricated with 1/3 scale of full size. Tensile coupon tests and stub column tests were also carried out. Of primary interest here are the stiffened effect of Gusset-Tube connections considering lateral force ratio, gusset plate length, eccentricity, stiffened length. Consequently, we intend to obtain accumulated database to propose practical strength equation and suggest rational reinforcing method of Gusset-tube connection.

      • K형 강관접합부의 편심접합에 관한 실험적 연구

        A finite element analysis and experimental study were performed to investigate the behavior and strength of a connection of tubular steel member considering slenderness ratio and eccentricity. Primary interest here are ultimate strength of connections having eccentricity. In comparison with the current design standard according to which the gravity axes of the main and branch pipes coincide with each other, the inner eccentric joint where the gravity axes of the branch pipes are shifted to the gusset plate side can reduce the gusset plate size. However, in the eccentric joint where the gravity axes do not coincide, the bending moment that acts on the main pipe due to eccentricity causes a problem. As a result, in cases where the slenderness ratio is 40 or less, the buckling strength of the inner eccentric joint was similar to that of a joint without eccentricity. Therefore the possibility of use of inner eccentricity connection to reduce the gusset plate size has been verified.

        초등 신임교사의 직무역량 요구도 분석

        The purpose of this research was to analyze the needs assessment of beginning teacher’s job competence in elementary schools. For this purpose, an on-line questionnaire was created and sent to 14,398 teachers in 17 Local Education Provinces. The questionnaire composed of 10 areas related to job skills of beginning teachers. The result of survey indicated that the priority of job competencies required for beginning teachers are ‘student guidance and counseling’ and ‘conjunction with parents and the community’. For future the competence of elementary school teachers, ‘the actual problem solving skills’, ‘relationship skills’, ‘communication skills’, ‘patience’, and ‘conflict management skills’ appeared to be needed. Furthermore, programs to enhance job competences in the future should involve ‘mentoring’ and ‘school based peer supervision’. This research concludes with these practical suggestions; First, on-the-job training needs to be strengthened to develop the expertise of beginning teachers. Second, in order to improve the job competence of new teachers in newly appointed elementary teachers, a training program to identify the needs new teachers needs to be developed. Third, the teachers’ appointment and rotation policy are needed to be reconsidered.

        Bioactivity-Guided Fraction from Viscera of Abalone, Haliotis discus hannai Suppresses Cellular Basophils Activation and Anaphylaxis in Mice

        Basophils and mast cells are specialized effector cells in allergic reactions. Haliotis discus hannai (abalone), is valuable seafood. Abalone male viscera, which has a brownish color and has not been previously reported to show anti-allergic activities, was extracted with acetone. Six different acetone/hexane fractions (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 100%) were obtained using a silica column via β-hexosaminidase release inhibitory activity-guided selection in phorbol myristate acetate and a calcium ionophore, A23187 (PMACI)-induced human basophils, KU812F cells. The 40% acetone/hexane fraction (A40) exhibited the strongest inhibition of PMACI-induced-β-hexosaminidase release. This fraction dose-dependently inhibited reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and calcium mobilization without cytotoxicity. Western blot analysis revealed that A40 down-regulated PMACI-induced MAPK (ERK 1/2, p-38, and JNK) phosphorylation, and the NF-κB translocation from the cytosol to membrane. Moreover, A40 inhibited PMACI-induced interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and IL-8 production. Anti-allergic activities of A40 were confirmed based on inhibitory effects on IL-4 and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) production in compound (com) 48/80-induced rat basophilic leukemia (RBL)-2H3 cells. A40 inhibited β-hexosaminidase release and cytokine production such as IL-4 and TNF-α produced by com 48/80-stimulated RBL-2H3 cells. Furthermore, it’s fraction attenuated the IgE/DNP-induced passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) reaction in the ears of BALB/c mice. Our results suggest that abalone contains the active fraction, A40 is a potent therapeutic and functional material to treat allergic diseases.
