The conventional magnetic sensors are generally designed for measuring one component of magnetic field vector perpendicular or parallel to the device surface. We need a magnetic sensor which can detect three components of a magnetic field vector in order to measure the magnetic field precisely, because the magnetic field is a vector which has three components. We have fabricated magnetotransistor using standard CMOS technology for measuring all three components of a magnetic field vector at a time. The magnetotransistor is npn type and is consisted of a common emitter, four base, and four collector pairs on each side of emitter for sensing magnetic field. The collector pairs on each side of emitter is used ofr detection z-component of magnetic field which is applied to the device surface perpendicularly. And each collector pairs which is sat opposite symmetrically with emitter in the center is used for detection x-, y- components of magnetic field which is applied to the device surface in parallel. We have measured the characteristics of the voltage difference of the collector pairs and sensitiviti according to the variation of magnetic field. The results have presented good linearities to the magnetic field. Under the uniform magnetic field, we have also measured the variation of sensitivity according to the variation of substrate and base current.
UWB Bandpass Filter Using Microstrip-to-CPW Transition With Broadband Balun

<P>A novel ultra-wideband bandpass filter (BPF) is presented using a back-to-back microstrip-to-coplanar waveguide (CPW) transition employed as the broadband balun structure in this letter. The proposed BPF is based on the electromagnetic coupling between open-circuited microstrip line and short-circuited CPW. The equivalent circuit of half of the filter is used to calculate the input impedance. The broadband microstip-to-CPW transition is designed at the center frequency of 6.85 GHz. The simulated and measured results are shown in this letter.</P>
Dual-Mode Dual-Band Bandpass Filter Using Balun Structure for Single Substrate Configuration

<P>A novel dual-mode dual-band bandpass filter (BPF) for a single substrate configuration is proposed that uses a balun structure. The outer and inner loop resonators are simultaneously excited by the microstrip line and slotline balun structure. In spite of the microstrip feed network, the proposed dual-mode BPF can achieve dual-band operation. Two proper degenerate modes in the lower and upper passbands can be generated and controlled by installing an inductive cut and a capacitive patch in the corner of two loops, respectively. This letter deals with the analysis and design of the proposed dual-band BPF as well as the experimental validation of the predicted dual-band performance.</P>
Broadband Circularly Polarized Crossed Dipole With Parasitic Loop Resonators and Its Arrays

<P>A novel printed crossed dipole with broad axial ratio (AR) bandwidth is proposed. The proposed dipole consists of two dipoles crossed through a 90°phase delay line, which produces one minimum AR point due to the sequentially rotated configuration and four parasitic loops, which generate one additional minimum AR point. By combining these two minimum AR points, the proposed dipole achieves a broadband circularly polarized (CP) performance. The proposed antenna has not only a broad 3 dB AR bandwidth of 28.6% (0.75 GHz, 2.25-3.0 GHz) with respect to the CP center frequency 2.625 GHz, but also a broad impedance bandwidth for a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) ≤2 of 38.2% (0.93 GHz, 1.97-2.9 GHz) centered at 2.435 GHz and a peak CP gain of 8.34 dBic. Its arrays of 1 × 2 and 2 × 2 arrangement yield 3 dB AR bandwidths of 50.7% (1.36 GHz, 2-3.36 GHz) with respect to the CP center frequency, 2.68 GHz, and 56.4% (1.53 GHz, 1.95-3.48 GHz) at the CP center frequency, 2.715 GHz, respectively. This paper deals with the designs and experimental results of the proposed crossed dipole with parasitic loop resonators and its arrays.</P>
인터랙티브 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 직관적인 저작 기술 개발

본 논문은 인터렉티브 콘텐츠를 자동으로 제작하는 콘텐츠 저작 기술에 관한 것으로, 본 기술을 활용하여 기존 제작 방식 보다 손쉬운 콘텐츠 제작이 가능하다. 콘텐츠 산업이 급속도로 발전하면서 콘텐츠의 수요가 높아지고 있으며, 콘텐츠 제작자뿐만 아니라 콘텐츠 제작에 대한 일반 사용자의 관심 또한 높아졌다. 따라서 콘텐츠 제작 환경을 보다 쉽게 제공해주기 위하여 인터랙티브 콘텐츠 자동저작시스템을 개발 하였다. 기존 자원 리소스를 활용하여 장면을 손쉽게 구성 할 수 있고, 직관적인 GUI구성으로 편리한 편집이 가능하며, 이렇게 제작된 장면들을 기반으로 각각의 장면 별로 흐름도 기반 구성 및 인터랙션이 가능하도록 설정 및 관리할 수 있다. 따라서 본 개발 시스템을 이용하여 콘텐츠의 중복적인 작업을 제거시킴으로써 제작의 효율성을 증대시키며, 다양한 사용자의 콘텐츠 참여 및 활용의 폭을 높일 수 있다.
비특이적인 증상을 나타내는 허혈성(虛血性) 심질환(心疾患) 진단 2례

Objectives : Oriental medical doctors usually use the three-finger pulse diagnosis method to observe disease. Since it is difficult to diagnose ischemic heart disease (IHD) objectively by this diagnostic method, we performed the study to diagnose it as soon as possible by using Yuk Bu Jung Wee Jin Mac(六部定位診脈) and electrocardiogram(ECG). Methods : Patients who had abdominal discomfort were observed by Yuk Bu Jung Wee Jin Mac(六部定位診脈) and we presumed they had heart disease and checked them with electrocardiogram(ECG). Results : We diagnosed it early by using Yuk Bu Jung Wee Jin Mac(六部定位診脈) and electrocardiogram (ECG). Conclusions : The study suggests that it is easy to diagnose IHD early using Yuk Bu Jung Wee Jin Mac(六部定位診脈) and ECG. More data related to IHD is needed.
고양이의 급성기 뇌지주막하출혈시 뇌혈류 변화에 대한 Naloxone 효과

The immediate fall in cerebral blood flow(CBF) and the early clinical picture following subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) correlate well with the prognosis of most of the patients. But the cause of this fall in CBF is not fully understood. Recently attention has been focused on the role of endogenous opiates in the pathogenesis of cerebral ischemia. This research was planned to observe the acute change of regional cerebral blood flow (CBF) in experimentally induced SAH, to investigate whether endogenous opiate plays a role in the mechanism of the acute reduction in CBF following SAH, and to document the therapeutic value of naloxone. We have studied the effects of naloxone, an opiate antagonist, on CBF, cardiovascular system, intracranial pressure (ICP) and electroencephalography (EEG) in pentobarbital anesthetized cats. Twenty-five adult cats were divided into four groups as follows: control group(group Ⅰ; 5 cats), naloxone-treated control group (group Ⅱ; 5 cats), SAH group (group Ⅲ; 7 cats) and naloxone-treated SAH group (group Ⅳ, 8 cats). The measurement of CBF was done by hydrogen clearance methods, and carried out every 20 minutes from the beginning to 140 minutes following SAH. Naloxone (10 ㎎/㎏) was intravenously administered to cats, three times: 40, 80 and 120 minutes following SAH. The results were as follows: 1) We have induced SAH in 18 cats, in which 15 cats showed the immediate reduction in CBF following SAH( incidence rate: 83%). 2) Significant elevations in the mean arterial blood pressure (MABP: 141±10.7 to 146±12.3㎜Hg) and ICP(19±35 to 21±3.9㎜Hg) were observed immediately after SAH, followed by reduction respectively to the levels of baseline value within 40 minutes after SAH. Naloxone had no significant influence on the changes in MABP and ICP. 3) Baseline values of CBF in group Ⅰ and Ⅱ were 445±6.9 to 50,l±5.4㎖/100g/min, and were not changed by naloxone. 4) Induction of SAH resulted in a significant reduction of blood flow to 34.8±5.9 to 38.4±5.6㎖/100g/min(p<0.005), and the reduced value was not significantly changed through the experiment. Reduction in CBF was usually greater on the side of the lesion. 5) In group Ⅳ, the initial administration of naloxone made the reduced CBF increase to about 46㎖/100g/min(p<0.05), and the increased CBF value was maintained by the additional injections of naloxone. 6) Cats subjected to SAH exhibited progressive loss of amplitude and decreased frequency in EEG, which were improved by the administration of naloxone. These data suggest that endogenous opiate, which may cause decrease of cerebral metabolic rate and vasoconstriction, can play an important role in the mechanism of the acute reduction in CBF following SAH. Naloxone may induce increase in CBF by reversing the effects of endogenous opiate and its direct cerebral vasodilat or properties.
