        In organization and company managing a lot of computers, it is difficult to manage the computer system, because it is not easy to recognize exceptions of distributed workplace such as departments and laboratories. Existing computer management systems control many computers through manager using server computer for management in field. Therefore they have the characteristic of strong locality. In this paper, we develop computer remote control system which supports convenient features and non-locality to managers by broadening effective ranges of computer management. We use Web-Site and Android Platform to develop the environment of client management regardless of multiple clients and locality. Moreover, we use WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) to recognize and control the status of client PC without a impact on computer users.

        In this study, the ferrite/rubber composite microwave absorbers mixed Ni-Zn ferrite and Ni₂Y ferroxplanna were prepared in order to control matching condition. The variation of the material constants(ε*, μ*) and microwave absorbing characteristics were investigated with various ferrite mixing ratio. The material constants of ferrite/rubber composite microwave absorber could be controlled by variation ferrite mixing ratio.

        폴록사머 및 프로필렌글리콜을 이용한 클로트리마졸 고형 좌제의 물리화학적 특성

        To develop a clotrimazole-loaded solid suppository with poloxamer and propylene glycol, the melting points of various formulations composed of poloxamer 188 (P 188) and propylene glycol were investigated. The dissolution study of clotrimazole delivered by the suppository composed of P 188 and propylene glycol was performed. The mixtures composed of P 188 and propylene glycol were homogeneous. Propylene glycol affected the melting points of poloxamer mixtures. In particular, the mixture [P 188/propylene glycol (70/30%)] with the melting point of about 32°C was a solid form at room temperature and instantly melted at physiological temperature. Furthermore, propylene glycol affected greatly the dissolution rates of clotrimazole from the suppository. Dissolution mechanism analysis showed the dissolution of clotrimazole was proportional to the time. Our results indicated that the solid suppository with P 188 and propylene glycol would be a candidate of rectal dosage form for clotrimazole.

        Staggered and Inverted Staggered Type Organic-Inorganic Hybrid TFTs with ZnO Channel Layer Deposited by Atomic Layer Deposition

        Two different organic-inorganic hybrid thin film transistors (OITFTs) with the structures of glass/ITO/ZnO/PMMA/Al (staggered structure) and glass/ITO/PMMA/ZnO/Al (inverted staggered structure), were fabricated and their electrical and structural properties were compared. The ZnO thin films used as active channel layers were deposited by the atomic layer deposition (ALD) method at a temperature of $100^{\circ}C$. To investigate the effect of the substrates on their properties, the ZnO films were deposited on bare glass, PMMA/glass and ITO/glass substrates and their crystal properties and surface morphologies were analyzed. The structural properties of the ZnO films varied with the substrate conditions. The ZnO film deposited on the ITO/glass substrate showed better crystallinity and morphologies, such as a higher preferred c-axis orientation, lower FWHM value and larger particle size compared with the one deposited on the PMMA/glass substrate. The field effect mobility ($\mu$), threshold voltage ($V_T$) and $I_{on/off}$ switching ratio for the OITFT with the staggered structure were about $0.61\;cm^2/V{\cdot}s$, 5.5 V and $10^2$, whereas those of the OITFT with the inverted staggered structure were found to be $0.31\;cm^2/V{\cdot}s$, 6.8 V and 10, respectively. The improved electrical properties for the staggered OITFTs may originate from the improved crystal properties and larger particle size of the ZnO active layer.

        말기 위암 외래 환자에게 제공된 통증관리의 염려 및 주저정도에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: This study was designed to evaluate the effect of cancer pain-management-education on the concerns and hesitancy of pain-management in out-patient of terminal gastric cancer. Method: 24 terminal gastric cancer patients who had not surgery, were assigned to the control group and 24 were assigned to the experimental group receiving pain-management-education. As Measurement-instrument of concern on pain-management and questionnaire on degrees of hesitancy were used the questionnaire developed by Ward( 1993) and translated by Kim Hong-Soo(1998). Data were analyzed per descriptive analysis, x²-test and t-test with the SPSS 10.0 program. Result: Degrees of concern of cancer-patient on pain-management between experimental-group and control-group showed significant difference: Experimental-group changed from 2.52 to 1.13 point(maximum 5 point) and control-group from 2.59 to 2.40 point(p=.000). Degrees of hesitancy of cancer-patient on pain-management between two groups showed significant difference. Experimental-group changed from 2.33 to 1.35 point and control-group from 2.77 to 2.52 point(p=.000). Conclusion: Above findings showed that pain-management-education reduces the concern and hesitancy on pain-management in out-patient of terminal gastric cancer. We conclude that the pain-management-education in this study was identified the effective nursing program.

        ORiginal Article : Clinical Significance of Early Detection of Esophageal Cancer in Patients with Head and Neck Cancer

        Background/Aims: The efficacy of surveillance for esophageal squamous cell neoplasia (ESCN) in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) remains controversial. Our study aimed to provide clinical data concerning the necessity of surveillance for detecting early ESCN in patients with HNSCC. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the data from 714 patients who were pathologically confirmed as having HNSCC (n=236 oral cavity cancers, 137 oropharyngeal cancers, 87 hypopharyngeal cancers, and 254 laryngeal cancers). Results: Of 714 patients, during a median follow-up of 31 months, 48 ESCNs (37 synchronous and 11 metachronous) were detected in 36 patients (5%). Fifteen synchronous lesions (40.3%) were early ESCN, whereas nine metachronous lesions (81.8%) were early ESCN. The 3-year survival rates of HNSCC only and HNSCC combined with ESCN were 71.2% and 48.2%, respectively (p<0.001). Among 36 patients with ESCN, the 3-year survival rates for early and advanced ESCN were 77.7% and 21.7%, respectively (p=0.01). In the multivariate analysis, alcohol consumption and hypopharyngeal cancer were significant factors associated with the development of ESCN. Conclusions: HNSCC patients with early ESCN were similar in prognosis with patients without ESCN, in contrast to patients with advanced ESCN. Therefore, surveillance for the early detection of ESCN in patients with HNSCC, especially in alcohol drinkers and those with hypopharyngeal cancer, is warranted. (Gut Liver, 2015;9:159-166)

        <P>In<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>Ga<SUB>1−<I>x</I></SUB>As (0 ≤ <I>x</I> ≤ 1) alloy nanowires (average diameter = 50 nm) were synthesized at 800 °C with complete composition tuning by the thermal evaporation of GaAs/InAs powders. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the complete composition tuning over the whole range. They exhibit exclusively a superlattice structure composed of zinc blende phase twinned octahedral slice segments having alternating orientations along the axial [111] direction and wurtzite phase twin planes. When the mole fraction (<I>x</I>) approaches 0.5, the period of the twinned superlattice structures becomes shorter, showing a controlled wurtzite−zinc blende polytypism. At <I>x</I> = 0.5, the wurtzite phase is dominant with the shortest superlattice periodicity (∼2 nm). The smaller diameter consistently induces shorter periodic superlattice structures. This unique polytypism shows that the incorporation of In (or Ga) and the smaller diameter promotes the crystallization of the nanowires in the wurtzite phase.         암 병동 간호사의 통증관리에 대한 지식과 태도

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of oncology ward nurses toward cancer pain management and to find ways to improve the educational program for nurses. Method: A total of 209 nurses working at the oncology ward of three hospitals in Seoul and a Gyenggi Province. The survey instrument used was the 32-item scale for evaluating nurses knowledge and attitudes originally developed by McCaffery and Ferrell'(1990). that was by Kim'(1997). Result: In terms of the nurses knowledge of pain management. the result showed that the nurses scored an average of 67.8 out of 100 for phamacokinetics of opioids. 84.8 for classification of analgesics, 60.1 for pain assessment, and 70.7 for drug administration. 18.2% of the nurses hesitate to inject the narcotic agent because of concerns regarding the drug's potential side effects. there was significant difference in the knowledge of pain management according to the general characteristics of pain in terms of the nurses age(p=.001), position (p=.016). years of experiences(p=.002), experience of cancer pain education(p= .001). Conclusion: The also showed that nurses working at cancer ward lack knowledge. It is important to provide intensive education to nurses about cancer pain management.

      • Kaempferol Suppresses Eosionphil Infiltration and Airway Inflammation in Airway Epithelial Cells and in Mice with Allergic Asthma

        <P>The airway epithelium is thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis of asthma. Airway epithelial activation may contribute to inflammatory and airway-remodeling events characteristic of asthma. Kaempferol, a flavonoid with antioxidative and antitumor properties, has been studied as an antiinflammatory agent. However, little is known regarding its effects on allergic asthma. Human airway epithelial BEAS-2B cells and eosinophils were used to investigate the effects of kaempferol on endotoxin- or cytokine-associated airway inflammation. Kaempferol, nontoxic at 1-20 μmol/L, suppressed LPS-induced eotaxin-1 protein expression that may be mediated, likely via Janus kinase 2 (JAK2) JAK2 signaling. Additionally, 1-20 μmol/L kaempferol dose-dependently attenuated TNFα-induced expression of epithelial intracellular cell adhesion molecule-1 and eosinophil integrin β2, thus encumbering the eosinophil-airway epithelium interaction. Kaempferol blunted TNFα-induced airway inflammation by attenuating monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 transcription, possibly by disturbing NF-κB signaling. This study further investigated antiallergic activity of kaempferol in BALB/c mice sensitized with ovalbumin (OVA) and challenged with a single dose of OVA. Oral administration of kaempferol attenuated OVA challenge-elevated expression of eotaxin-1 and eosinophil major basic protein via the blockade of NF-κB transactivation, thereby blunting eosinophil accumulation in airway and lung tissue. Therefore, dietary kaempferol is effective in ameliorating allergic and inflammatory airway diseases through disturbing NF-κB signaling.</P>

        Gene expression of MC3T3-E1 osteoblastic cells on titanium and zirconia surface

        PURPOSE. This study was performed to define attachment and growth behavior of osteoblast-like cells and evaluate the gene expression on zirconia compared to titanium. MATERIALS AND METHODS. MC3T3-E1 cells were cultured on (1) titanium and (2) zirconia discs. The tetrazolium-based colorimetric assay (MTT test) was used for examining the attachment of cells. Cellular morphology was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was measured to evaluate the cell differentiation rate. Mann-Whitney test was used to assess the significance level of the differences between the experimental groups. cDNA microarray was used for comparing the 20215 gene expressions on titanium and zirconia. RESULTS. From the MTT assay, there was no significant difference between titanium and zirconia (P>.05). From the SEM image, after 4 hours of culture, cells on both discs were triangular or elongated in shape with formation of filopodia. After 24 hours of culture, cells on both discs were more flattened and well spread compared to 4 hours of culture. From the ALP activity assay, the optical density of E1 cells on titanium was slightly higher than that of E1 cells on zirconia but there was no significant difference (P>.05). Most of the genes related to cell adhesion showed similar expression level between titanium and zirconia. CONCLUSION. Zirconia showed comparable biological responses of osteoblast-like cells to titanium for a short time during cell culture period. Most of the genes related to cell adhesion and signal showed similar expression level between titanium and zirconia.
