        Design of Dissolution Apparatus for the Flow-through Cell Method Based on the Low Pulsation Peristaltic Pump

        The emergence of the flow-through cell (FTC) method has made up for the limitations of previous dissolution test methods, but the high cost of the FTC dissolution devices have seriously hindered the progression of research and application of the FTC. This new design uses a peristaltic pump to simulate the sinusoidal flow rate of a piston pump. The flow profile of each peristaltic pump was sinusoidal with a pulsation of 120 ± 1 pulses per minute, and the flow rate ranged from 1.0 - 36.0 mL/min. The flow control of each channel was adjusted independently so the flow errors of the seven channels were close to 2%. The structure of the system was simplified, and the cost was reduced through manual sampling and immersing the FTC in a water bath. The dissolution rate of the theophylline and aminophylline films was determined, and good experimental results were obtained.

        Cordycepsmilitaris polysaccharide triggers apoptosis and G0/G1 cell arrest in cancer cells

        Although many studies have shown the antitumor properties of Cordyceps militaris (artificial cultivated from Bombyx mori pupa) polysaccharides, little is known regarding the mechanism of its effects. This study was conducted to determine the mechanism of antitumor effects of C. militaris polysaccharide extract by evaluating apoptosis rate and cell cycle progression status in human liver cancer cell SMMC-7721, stomach cancer cell BGC-823 and breast cancer cell MCF-7. Results showed that C. militaris polysaccharides inhibited proliferation of SMMC-7721, BGC-823 and MCF-7 cells with an IC50 of 192 ± 23.2 μg/mL, 237 ± 12.7 μg/mL and 165 ± 16.3 μg/mL, respectively. We also found that C. militaris polysaccharides at increasing concentrations induced apoptosis dose dependently in those cancer cells: apoptosis rates were 48.3%, 59.4% and 70.9% for SMMC-7721, 41.3% and 57.0%, 72.2% for BGC-823 and 61.3%, 66.9% and 80.6% for MCF-7 at 110, 156 and 323 mg/mL of C. militaris polysaccharides, respectively. C. militaris polysaccharides arrested SMMC-7721, BGC-823 and MCF-7 cells at G0/G1 and G2/M phases with corresponding decrease in S-phase. This study suggests that C. militaris polysaccharides may exert its antitumor effects in those cancer cells by suppressing its growth, arresting the G0/G1-phase, reducing DNA synthesis and inducing apoptosis.

        Effect of Shifting the Pole-shoe and Damper-bar Centerlines on the No-load Voltage Waveform of a Tubular Hydro-generator

        This study optimises the no-load voltage waveform of tubular hydro-generators by a simple design scheme. For different centerlines of the pole shoe and damper bar, the optimisation effects on the no-load voltage waveform are investigated in two tubular hydro-generators with different weighted powers (34 MW and 18 MW). The results are compared with those of the traditional stator-slots skewed design. The quality of the no-load voltage waveform was related to the shifting degree, and the different optimisation effects between the integer slot generator (q = 2) and the fractional slot generator (q = 11/2) were analysed. This research can improve the quality of the power output and no-load voltage waveform, and provide an effective reference for improving the industrial design and manufacture level of tubular hydro-generators.

        Sampling-based Event-triggered and Self-triggered Control for Linear Systems

        This work considers the event-triggered and self-triggered control for linear systems with periodic sampling schemes. An event-triggered control using sampled states is proposed. The asymptotic stability of the closedloop system is guaranteed by a condition in terms of a linear matrix inequality. Moreover, a self-triggered control with sampling is presented and the next control task release time is predicted based on the current sampled data. It is noted that by introducing the periodic sampling scheme, Zeno behaviors can be naturally avoided in both of the algorithms. Finally, simulation results are provided to illustrate the theoretical effectiveness.

        Event-triggered Coordination Control for Multi-agent Systems with Connectivity Preservation

        This work investigates the connectivity preservation problem of multi-agent systems with event-triggered controllers. The agents in the system have only limited communication ranges, and they are required to achieve rendezvous while preserving the connectivity of the communication graph. To reduce the amount of communication packages, event-triggering mechanism is employed. We propose two kinds of event triggers to realize the connectivity-preserving rendezvous of the multi-agent system, i.e., the connectivity trigger to preserve the network connectivity, and the convergence trigger to drive the agents to achieve rendezvous. By introducing a particular constraint function in the controller design, the control inputs of the agents can be bounded throughout the rendezvous process. This guarantees that the controller can be physically implemented in practice. It is proven that the agent group will achieve rendezvous while all the existing communication links can be preserved under some very mild assumptions on the controller design. Moreover, Zeno behavior can be avoided by using an event/time hybrid triggering approach. The effectiveness of the proposed event-triggered control is illustrated by simulations.

        Protectin DX increases alveolar fluid clearance in rats with lipopolysaccharideinduced acute lung injury

        Acute respiratory distress syndrome is a life-threatening critical syndrome resulting largely from the accumulation of and the inability to clear pulmonary edema. Protectin DX, an endogenously produced lipid mediator, is believed to exert anti-inflammatory and pro-resolution effects. Protectin DX (5 μg/kg) was injected i.v. 8 h after LPS (14 mg/kg) administration, and alveolar fluid clearance was measured in live rats (n = 8). In primary rat ATII epithelial cells, protectin DX (3.605 × 10−3 mg/l) was added to the culture medium with LPS for 6 h. Protectin DX improved alveolar fluid clearance (9.65 ± 1.60 vs. 15.85 ± 1.49, p < 0.0001) and decreased pulmonary edema and lung injury in LPSinduced lung injury in rats. Protectin DX markedly regulated alveolar fluid clearance by upregulating sodium channel and Na, K-ATPase protein expression levels in vivo and in vitro. Protectin DX also increased the activity of Na, K-ATPase and upregulated P-Akt via inhibiting Nedd4–2 in vivo. In addition, protectin DX enhanced the subcellular distribution of sodium channels and Na, K-ATPase, which were specifically localized to the apical and basal membranes of primary rat ATII cells. Furthermore, BOC-2, Rp-cAMP, and LY294002 blocked the increased alveolar fluid clearance in response to protectin DX. Protectin DX stimulates alveolar fluid clearance through a mechanism partly dependent on alveolar epithelial sodium channel and Na, K-ATPase activation via the ALX/PI3K/Nedd4–2 signaling pathway.

        인공지능 광고 특성이 소비자 구매의도에 미치는 영향

        인공지능 기술은 21세기 발전의 중요한 기술이 되고 있으며, 인공지능 기술은 인간의 지능을 모방하여 그 기술적 이점을 다양한 분야로 확장하고 광고를 비롯한 많은 분야에서 개혁을 촉발하고 있다. 본 연구 목적은 인터넷 환경에서 인공지능 기술을 적용하는 광고 콘텐츠 디자인 및 맞춤형 홍보가 소비자의 구매의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 탐색할 것이다. 새로운 광고 운영 모델을 통해 소비자의 구매 행동을 유도하는 마케팅 메커니즘을 검토하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존 이론을 고찰했고 맞춤형 광고 콘텐츠, 광고 투입 정밀화, 광고태도, 지각된 기능적 가치, 지각된 위험, 구매의도 6가지 변수를 제시하고 있다. 연구가설에 따라 연구 결과를 다음과 같다. 인공지능 광고 중에 맞춤형 콘텐츠는 광고태도, 지각된 기능적 가치, 지각된 위험, 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 광고 투입 정밀화는 광고태도, 지각된 기능적 가치, 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 지각된 위험에 영향을 미치지 않는다. 이를 바탕으로 광고 마케팅에 인공지능 기술을 더 광범위하게 활용하고, 광고 콘텐츠에 제품 및 서비스 기능과 관련된 정보를 더 포함하고, 소비자 개인정보에 보호해야 하는 실무적 시사점을 제안했다. Artificial intelligence technology is becoming an important technology for 21st century development, and artificial intelligence technology imitates human intelligence to expand its technological benefits to various fields and triggers reform in many areas, including advertising. The purpose of this study is to explore how advertising content design and customized promotion that apply artificial intelligence technology in an Internet environment affect consumers purchase intention. We would like to review the marketing mechanism that induces consumers purchasing behavior through a new advertising operation model. In this study, the existing theory was reviewed and six variables were presented: customized advertising content, customized advertising delivery, advertising attitude, perceived functional value, perceived risk, and purchase intention. According to the research hypothesis, the research results are as follows. During AI advertisements, customized content positively affects advertising attitude, perceived functional value, perceived risk, and purchase intention, and delivery of customized advertisements positively affects advertising attitude, perceived functional value, purchase intention, and does not affect perceived risk. Based on this, we propose practical implications for using artificial intelligence technology more broadly in advertising marketing, including more information related to product and service functions in advertising content, and protecting consumer privacy.

        Preparation of AlN Films and nc-AlN/a-SiNx Nanocomposite Films by Medium Frequency Magnetron Sputtering

        AlN ¯lms and nc-AlN/a-SiNx nanocomposite ¯lms are deposited on (111) silicon and glass sub-strates by using medium-frequency reactive magnetron sputtering under N2/Ar atmosphere, and then the ¯lms are analyzed in detail by using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diraction (XRD). Hardness of the nc-AlN/a-SiNx ¯lms is measured. The microstructures of AlN ¯lms under dierent nitrogen concentrations are compared. The XRD patterns indicate that the ¯lm shows (002) orientation, strongly independent of N2 partial °ow rate. The TEM images show that the uniform AlN crystal, the clear polycrystalline diraction circles and the dierence of the grain size under dierent conditions are signi¯cant. Columnar grains of AlN ¯lm on (111) silicon substrate under 70 % N2 partial °ow rate are observed. The results indicate that the preferred orientation of AlN ¯lm is aected by N2 partial °ow rate. The hardness of nc-AlN/a-SiNx ¯lms increases with increasing a-SiNx content and the hardness decreases when a-SiNx is excessive. The maximal hardness of nc-AlN/a-SiNx nanocomposite ¯lms can reach 30 GPa by adjusting a-SiNx content. The transmission of the nanocomposite ¯lms is over 85 %. The results suggest that it has potential application for optical protective coatings.
