        독일 대학입학자격시험 아비투어의 역사과 試驗 분석 - ‘史料의 분석과 비교’ 문항을 中心으로 -

        This study examines questions and model answers of history Abitur tests for the higher education entrance qualification in the German state of Baden- Württemberg between 2016 and 2020. Research methods are to analyze the question types and historical sources quantitatively and examine the model answers qualitatively to shed light on the procedure and strategies for writing answers. Exam topics mainly cover the development of democracy in modern and contemporary German history. A test set consists of three historical primary sources and four question sentences, and the exam time comprises 270 minutes. The four questions deal with historical source analysis, explaining a historical event or policy, and reviewing a historical thesis. The model answers to the questions on primary sources consist of ‘introduction of the presented historical sources’, ‘a description and summary of given sources’, ‘interpretation in a historical context’, ‘discussion on the arguments or intention of the source author’, and ‘summary’. The test requires students’ narrative ability to paraphrase and quote. In South Korea, in comparison, the CSAT history tests use multiple-choice questions that mainly require memorization of knowledge. This study argues that ‘Essay writing’ and ‘Analyzing historical sources’ should be more emphasized in Korean tests. The limitation of this study is that it analyzes tests of one out of 16 German states, while the scope and form of exams vary by state.

        유아발레 활동이 유아의 친사회적행동 및 창의적 신체표현력에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to identify the effects of ballet activity on young children's prosocial behavior and creative physical expression. 8 infants (girls) with an average age of 66.4 months attending A ballet school located in G city. The results derived through such a research procedure are as follows. First, it was confirmed that infant ballet activities had a positive effect on the prosocial behavior of infants. In particular, among the sub-factors of pro-social behavior, significant changes appeared in leadership, support cycles, and approach attempts. Second, it was confirmed that infant ballet activities have a positive impact on creative physical expression. Although there were differences in the degree of change depending on the period of participation (career), it was analyzed that the physical expressiveness of the infants improved on average. In-depth interviews were conducted to understand the parents' perceptions of these changes. As a result, the parents recognized that the cause of the changes was their child's participation in ballet, suggesting changes in pro-social behavior and creative physical expression supported. Summarizing the above research results, it can be seen that infant ballet activities induce positive changes in the promotion of pro-social behavior and creative physical expression in infants. These results may contribute to improving the effectiveness of early childhood ballet education by examining the impact of ballet education on young children, It is significant as a basic material that can be used in the educational program development process at the educational site.

        미술상(art prize)을 통한 국내 미술계 기업 후원(corporate art patronage)의 의미 : 근거이론 분석 방법론을 통한 연구

        전 세계에 걸쳐 기업 미술상이라는 제도를 통해 기업들은 문화예술계 종사자들에 대한 재정지원에 한정된 후원자(patron)의 역할에서 벗어나 작품의 가치를 판단하는 평가에 까지도 영향을미치는 적극적 후원자로서 자신들의 역할을 재정립해가고 있다. 이러한 새로운 평가제도는 예술가 명성(artistic reputation) 형성에 상당한 영향을 미친다는 점에서 문화예술계 내 기업과 같은외부 민간 주체들의 이와 같은 역할 변화는 중요한 연구 주제이다. 하지만 아직까지 국내 미술계에서 일어나고 있는 이러한 제도적 변화에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저사회학적 관점에서 문화예술계에서 작품과 작가에 대한 평가가 갖는 의미를 예술가 명성에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 고찰한다. 이를 토대로, 기업상에 대해 실제 문화예술계 종사자들이 인식하고있는 바를 근거이론 분석방법론을 통한 탐색적 접근법으로 실증연구를 수행하고 그 결과를 보고한다. 구체적으로, 기업 미술상에 대해 국내 미술계 참여자와 관계자들에 대한 심층 인터뷰를수행하고, 이를 근거이론 방법론을 적용해 상향식(bottom-up) 접근 방식으로 분석하였다. 특히, 미술상을 통해 기업이 새로운 평가의 주체로 등장하며 국내 미술계에서 영향력을 미치는 정도를이에 대한 미술계 다양한 참여자들의 인식, 의견, 감정을 상세히 들여다봄으로써 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 국내 미술계 민간에서 촉발된 ‘기업 미술상’이라는 새로운 평가 시스템이 작동하는기재를 미술계 참여자의 관점에서 탐색해 관련 후속 연구를 촉발하는 계기를 마련할 것으로 기대한다. Through the corporate art awards system, companies around the world have reestablished their role as active patrons who have influenced the evaluation of the value of the work, apart from the role of the patron limited to financial support for the participants in the arts and culture industry. Since this new evaluation system has a significant impact on the formation of the artist’s reputation, such a change in the role of private actors outside the artistic field is an important research topic. However, researchers on these institutional changes taking place in the domestic art world have yet to pay attention to this emerging phenomenon. Thus, from a sociological perspective, this study first considers the meaning and significance of the evaluation of artists and their works in the cultural and artistic world, focusing on its influence on the artist’s reputation. Based on this, we conducted an empirical study using an exploratory approach through a grounded theory analysis methodology and report the results of what the perceptions of professionals in the culture and arts fields about the increasing influence of corporate art prizes. Specifically, the perceptions, opinions, and feelings of domestic art participants and related parties were grasped through in-depth interviews, and these were examined using a bottom-up approach by applying the grounded theory methodology. This study sheds light on how companies emerge as a new type of corporate patron with its influence on evaluation in the domestic art world through corporate art awards and in the process of exerting their influence, thereby providing an opportunity to trigger future research on this topic.

        독일 초등 1-4학년 사물수업 교육과정의 교과역량과 역사영역 학습내용 분석

        독일 초등학교의 사물수업은 어린이의 인식과 생활세계를 다루는 사회와 과학의 통합교과로, 본 연구는 독일 16개 주(州) 수준에서 개발된 역량중심 사물수업 교육과정의 교과역량과 역사영역 학습내용을 분석하였다. 구체적으로는 첫째, 사물수업 교과의 교육과정에 제시된 역량중심 교육과정의 모형을 유형별로 살펴보았다. 둘째, 사물수업 교과의 역량과 학습영역을 개관하였다. 셋째, 사물수업 교과의 역사영역 학습내용을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 역량중심 교육과정 모형은 씨실과 날실이 교차하는 형태의 직물형과 복수의 중첩된 원에 역량과 내용을 제시한 원형 등이 사용되었다. 모형은 교과역량과 학습내용이 결합된 교수학습을 표현한다. 둘째, 과학과 사회의 통합교과인 사물수업의 교과역량은 ‘이해와 분석’, ‘의사소통과 발표’, ‘판단과 평가’, ‘연대와 실천’이 제시되었다. 셋째, 사물수업 역사영역의 학습내용은 ‘기초적인 역사하기 활동’, ‘사료 학습’, ‘시간과 일정’, ‘미래 구성’의 네 주제로 분류하였다. 이 중 사료의 의미와 종류를 개관하고 사실과 허구의 역사 서술을 구분하는 ‘사료 학습’과, 학생 스스로 미래를 계획하고 이를 위한 행동을 계획하는 ‘미래 구성’의 학습 내용이 특징적이다. 2022년 교육과정 개정은 교과 수준의 역량중심 교육과정으로의 전환이 요구된다. 본 연구는 초등 사회과의 교과역량으로 판단 역량을 채택하고 역사 영역 학습 내용으로 사료 학습을 다룰 것을 주장하고, 연대사 학습의 구체적인 내용 및 범위를 제안하였다. Sachunterricht in German primary schools is an integrated subject of social studies and natural sciences that deals with children s perception and their world of experience. The study analyzed the Subject-Competencies and historical learning content of Sachunterricht in fifteen German state curricula. Research findings are, first, that a textile-type in which weft and warp threads intersect and a circle-type that depicts competencies and contents in overlapping circles were the two representative competency-models of Competency-based curricula. The models visualize that subject competencies and learning content are represented equally in the lessons. Second, the Subject-competency of the Sachunterricht consists of the following four competencies: ‘Knowing and Analysing’, ‘Communicating and Presenting’, ‘Judging and Positioning’ and ‘Designing the Future and Acting’. Third, the learning contents in the history part of Sachunterricht are ’Basic Doing-history Activities’, ‘Learning on Historical Sources’, ‘Time and Schedule’, and ‘Future Design and Action’. It is noteworthy that the content of ‘Learning on Historical Sources’ deals with the meaning and types of historical sources and distinguishes facts from fictional descriptions of history. The ‘Designing the Future and Acting’, in which students design their future and plan actions for it is worthy of notice as well. The 2022 curriculum revision in South Korea should achieve a shift to a competency-based curriculum at the subject level in terms of structure. Based on the analysis of the Sachunterricht curriculums of German states, this study argues that the 2022 Curriculum must adopt the Judgement Competence as one of the subject competencies of primary social studies and must adress the learning on historical sources. Furthermore, it proposes the content and scope of chronological history lessons for third and fourth graders.

        Novel thermoplastic toughening agents in epoxy matrix for vacuum infusion process manufactured composites

        This study suggests the novel thermoplastic toughening agent, which can be applied in the monomer forms without increasing the viscosity of the epoxy resin and polymerized during the resin curing. The diazide (p-BAB) and dialkyne (SPB) compounds are synthesized and mixed with the epoxy resin and the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composites are prepared using vacuum infusion process (VIP). Then, flexural and drop weight tests are performed to evaluate the improvement in the toughness of the prepared composites to investigate the potential of the novel toughening agent. When 10 phr of p-BAB and SPB is added, the flexural properties are improved, maintaining the modulus as well as the toughness is improved. Even with a small amount of polytriazolesulfone polymerized, due to the filtering effect of the solid SPB by the layered carbon fabrics during the VIP, the toughening and strengthening effect were observed from the novel toughening agent, which could be added in monomer forms, p-BAB and SPB. This suggests that the novel toughening agent has a potential to be used for the composites prepared from viscosity sensitive process, such as resin transfer molding and VIP.

        Metronidazole-induced encephalopathy in a patient with Crohn`s disease

        Metronidazole is a widely used antibiotic for the treatment of anaerobic bacterial infections. Metronidazole-induced encephalopathy (MIEP) is a rare but potentially reversible disease. The mechanism of MIEP remains unclear, and differences in the neurotoxic effects of oral versus intravenous (IV) metronidazole administration have not yet been determined. We report the case of a Crohn`s disease (CD) patient who experienced encephalopathy immediately after a single IV dose of metronidazole following long-term exposure to the oral form of the drug. The 64-year-old man with intractable CD experienced a sudden change in mental status, aphasia, and muscle weakness after IV administration of metronidazole. He had previously taken metronidazole orally for 13 years and received intermittent IV metronidazole treatments for CD exacerbation. Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed high-intensity signals in the bilateral medial thalamus and the midbrain and pontine tegmentum on fluid-attenuated inversion recovery images. After discontinuation of metronidazole, the high-intensity brain MRI signals resolved and the patient`s mental status dramatically improved; however, the patient exhibited mild cognitive dysfunction 2 months after the onset of encephalopathy.       • CDK7 as a potential therapeutic target for ovarian cancer; preclinical study

        Objective: Cyclin dependent kinases (CDKs) are involved in temporal regulation of the cell cycle and transcription and play central roles in cancer development and metastasis. CDK7 activates cell cycle CDKs and is a member of the general transcription factor TFIIH. In this study, we evaluate the therapeutic effects of CDK7 inhibition in ovarian cancer using in vitro and in vivo models. Methods: We analyzed the clinical significance of CDK7 expression using TCGA data. Using CDK7 siRNA or covalent CDK7 inhibitor (THZ1), we performed the cell proliferation, apoptosis and the effects of cell cycle analysis in ovarian cancer cell lines including A2780, HeyA8, A2780-CP20 and RMG1. Based on in vitro results, we also performed in vivo experiments including cell line xenograft (A2780) and patient-derived xenografts (PDXs). Results: Higher CDK7 expression is significantly associated with poor progression-free survival of ovarian cancer patients in the analysis of TCGA data. CDK7 suppression with its siRNA or THZ1 significantly decreased cell proliferation and increased apoptosis with cell line experiments. Moreover, combination treatment with CDK7 inhibition and cisplatin decreased cell proliferation in drug-resistant A2780-CP20 cells. In the flow cytometric analysis to check the influence in cell cycle of CDK7 inhibition, we found that THZ1 triggered G0/G1 cell cycle arrest in a dose-dependent manner. In in vivo therapeutic experiment with cell line xenograft, CDK7 suppression with its siRNA or THZ1 could significantly decrease the tumor weight in A2780 and HeyA8 models. Moreover, we also found similar effect of this treatment in a PDX model with clear cell carcinoma. Conclusion: These results showed that CDK7 suppression with its siRNA or THZ1 could significantly suppress ovarian cancer growth in in vitro and in vivo by triggering G0/G1 cell cycle arrest. Therefore, CDK7 might be a novel promising therapeutic target for ovarian cancer and will be explored in the near future for therapy of ovarian cancer.

        Rapid exacerbation of renal function after administration of hydroxyethyl starch in a dog

        <P>Hydroxyethyl starches (HES) are commonly used synthetic colloidal solution in veterinary medicine. Despite of possible adverse effect to kidney injury in human, there is no report about nephrotoxic effects of HES in dogs. HES was administered to a Golden retriever (4-year-old, intact male) with ascites in order to increase plasma osmolality. Initially, the dog was mild azotemic, however, kidney function was rapidly deteriorated after several days of HES administration. Finally, histopathological examination revealed remarkable osmotic nephrosis. In the case reported herein, acute kidney injury was remarkably developed after HES administration. Clinical and histopathologic findings of acute kidney injury support nephrotoxic effects of HES to a dog.</P>

      • Pseudo metal generation via catalytic oxidative polymerization on the surface of reactive template for redox switched off-on photothermal therapy

        <P>The integration of contrast-enhanced diagnostic imaging and therapy could utilize image guided therapy to plan treatment strategy. Toward this goal, a unique construction and operation of a pseudo metal based photothermal therapeutic agent (PPAM) is introduced by polyaniline (PANI) generation templated on iron oxide metal nanoclusters (MNCs). Notably, MNC core interferes as a catalytic agent and enables aniline polymerization under ambient acidic conditions. The intrusion of transition metal enhanced the proton sensitivity of PANI, which led to pH responsive conversion even at dilute proton concentrations (pH 5, 6) compared to the PANI particles prepared by conventional methods. Under physiological pH, PPAM reveals no special features; however, under low pH conditions, which is a notable characteristic of the cancer microenvironment, PPAM automatically converts into its emeraldine salt (ES) state and thus activates as a photothermal therapeutic agent. Utilizing this specific redox responsive switched off-on behavior of PPAM, precise and systemized photothermal therapy is demonstrated, proving itself as a smart and efficient photothermal therapeutic agent.</P>
