본 연구는 융합 연출 디자인 이라는 목적에서 출발하여 마임 브랜드 홍삼진 제품을 다각적 측면에서 기획 및 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2017년 3월~ 6월 15주 동안 숙명여대 환경디자인학과<융합 캡스톤 디자인>수업을 통해 이루어졌다. 또한 본 연구는 마임브랜드 중, 건강식품을 브랜딩하고 있는 <홍삼 진>을 선택하였다. 그 결과 본 연구는 기존 이벤트 프로모션과 전시의 사회적 문제를 도출하였고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 전통과 현대의 융합의 오감적 체험 프로모션을 주제로 선정하였다. 아울러 본 연구는 SWOT/STP 마케 팅 분석 방법과 브레인스토밍을 사용하여 아트, 디자인, ICT, Marketing의 융합 브랜드를 구축하였다.끝으로 본 연구는 향후 마케팅을 기반한 융합 브랜드 개발에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

This study was performed to develop a rapid test kit for pathogenic Staphylococcus in various samples. The rapid detection kit has been fabricated based on nitrocellulose lateral-flow strip. Colloidal gold and Staphylococcus antibodies were used as a tag and a receptor, respectively. Manually spotted Staphylococcus antibody and anti-mouse antibody on the surface of nitrocellulose membrane were used as test and control lines, espectively. Feasibility of the rapid kit to detect Staphylococcus aureus in samples were evaluated. The intensity of the color of the tes line started to increase with the samples in which higher concentration of the cells were contained. The sensitivity of the sensor was 106 cfu/mL Staphylococcus spiked in PBS. Also, the rapid test kit could detect 105 cfu/mL of Staphylococcus in chicken meat extract.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitude difference toward the school uniform, it was supposed that clothing acceptance was differentiated according to subjects. The subjects were grouped by 3 types which were students, teachers(school governors) and parents groups. The results were as follows; 1. Boy students reguired the more freedom of clothing than girls. 2. Teachers and parents groups considered that clothing affected student's behavior and self-esteem. 3. The acceptance of school plain dress was affected by atomosphere of home and school. 4. According to socioeconomic levels, there were differences in clothing acceptance and fashion acceptance.

Purpose: Nutritional markers, such as total protein, albumin, and vitamin D have been reportedly associated with neonatal outcomes. This study aimed to assess the correlation between nutritional markers at birth and the need for respiratory support on the first day of life. Methods: This retrospective study included 94 newborns admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital between March and December 2017. We measured levels of nutritional markers, including serum total protein, albumin, ferritin, 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OHD), and prealbumin, from cord blood or blood sample within 24 hours after birth. Respiratory support was defined as the use of nasal continuous positive airway pressure, humidified high-flow nasal cannula, or mechanical ventilation on the first day of life. Results: The mean gestational age and birth weight were 36.6±2.3 weeks and 2,714± 575 g, respectively. Serum total protein, albumin, prealbumin, and ferritin levels at birth were significantly correlated with gestational age and birth weight. Total protein, albumin, ferritin, and 25-OHD levels were not correlated with the time to recover birth weight after adjusting for gestational age. Moreover, prealbumin levels at birth were significantly lower in small-for-gestational-age infants than in appropriate-forgestational-age infants. The need for respiratory support on the first day of life decreased 0.058- and 0.001-fold for every 1 g/dL increase in serum total protein (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.004 to 0.833; P=0.036) and albumin (95% CI, 0.000 to 0.136; P=0.009) levels, respectively. Conclusion: Nutritional status at birth could be associated with the need for respiratory support on the first day of life, regardless of the Apgar score.
Selective Peripheral Denervation for the Treatment of Spasmodic Torticollis

Objective: Various methods of treatment for idiopathic cervical dystonia have been tried in the past with unsatisfactory results. The authors report cases of five patients who underwent selective peripheral denervation for spasmodic torticollis. Methods: Between July 2002 and December 2003, 5 patients underwent surgery at St. Mary's Hospital for spasmodic torticollis. Age of the patient at the onset of symptoms ranged from 29 to 56years (mean 43.75years). Selective peripheral denervation(SPD) was performed at 7 to 11 months after the onset of symptoms (mean 8.75 months). A patient was considered to be the candidate for surgery if conservative methods were unsuccessful and symptoms persisted for longer than 7months. In addition, 2patients who refused treatment with botulinum toxin were also enrolled in this study. Results: Although one patient underwent reoperation, all of the five patients' symptoms were improved after the operation. Clinically, patients with retrocollis showed better improvement than laterocollis patients. Conclusion: Although injection of botulinum toxin is the first-choice in treatment modality, when surgery is required, selective peripheral denervation provides good results with minimum side effects.

Background: The effect of BCAA administration on prolonged weightless muscle atrophy during growth phases is not well documented. The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of BCAA administration on preventing the muscle atrophy induced by a hindlimb suspension in growing male rats. Methods: Male Wistar rats were assigned to 1 of 2 groups (n = 7/group): hindlimb suspension and hindlimb suspension with oral BCAA administration (600 mg·kg-1·day-1, valine 1: leucine 2: isoleucine 1). After 14 days of hindlimb suspension, weight and mRNA level of the soleus muscle were measured. Results: BCAA administration prevented the decrease in soleus muscle weight. BCAA administration attenuated atrogin-1 and MuRF1 mRNA expression which has been reported to play a pivotal role in muscle atrophy. Conclusion: BCAA could serve as an effective supplement for the prevention or treatment of preventing muscle atrophy, especially that caused by weightlessness.

Acardiac twin is a rare anomaly that occurs 1% in monochorionic twins and 1 in 35,000 pregnancies overall. Acardiac twin, also known as twin-reversed arterial perfusion (TRAP) sequence, involves a “pump” or donor twin perfusing a recipient or “acardiac” twin through vascular (usually arterial-arterial and venous-venous) anastomoses. Perinatal mortality rate for the pump twin has been reported to be 50~75%, mainly as a result of polyhydramnios, preterm labor, and congestive heart failure. Therefore, occlusion of the circulation to the acardiac twin has been recommended to improve perinatal outcome of the pump twin. Radiofrequency ablation of the acardiac twin effectively protects the pump twin from high-output cardiac failure and death. We report our experience in the treatment of patients with TRAP sequence using radio frequency ablation to stop perfusion to the acardiac twin.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to develop a sensitive method for quantifying cinnamic acid in human plasma using UPLC–ESI–MS/MS. Methods Cinnamic acid was separated using water containing 0.005% (v/v) formic acid and acetonitrile as a mobile phase by gradient elution at a flow rate 0.2 mL/min, equipped with a HALO-C18 column (2.1 × 100 mm, 2.7 μm). Quantitation of this analysis was performed on a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer employing electrospray ionization technique, operating in multiple reaction monitoring negative ion mode. The mass transitions were m/z 146.8 → 103.0 for cinnamic acid, and 432.9 → 225.0 for geniposide as internal standard. Liquid–liquid extraction and protein precipitation with ethyl acetate–methanol-1.2% acetic acid (4/16/1, v/v/v) were used in the sample extraction. Results The chromatograms showed high resolution, sensitivity, and selectivity with no interference with plasma constituents. The calibration curves for cinnamic acid in human plasma were 0.1–500 ng/mL and displayed excellent linearity with correlation coefficients (r) greater than 0.99. Both the intra- and inter-day precisions (CV%) were within 3.88% for human plasma. The accuracy was 99.34–106.69% for human plasma. In vitro plasma protein binding of cinnamic acid was 64.26 ± 1.89 and 65.50 ± 1.78% for the spiked human plasma concentrations of 100 and 1000 ng/mL, respectively. Conclusion The developed analytical method satisfied the criteria of international guidance and could be successfully applied to the pharmacokinetic study of cinnamic acid after oral administration of Socheongryong-tang tablets to humans.
