        본 연구는 융합 연출 디자인 이라는 목적에서 출발하여 마임 브랜드 홍삼진 제품을 다각적 측면에서 기획 및 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2017년 3월~ 6월 15주 동안 숙명여대 환경디자인학과<융합 캡스톤 디자인>수업을 통해 이루어졌다. 또한 본 연구는 마임브랜드 중, 건강식품을 브랜딩하고 있는 <홍삼 진>을 선택하였다. 그 결과 본 연구는 기존 이벤트 프로모션과 전시의 사회적 문제를 도출하였고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 전통과 현대의 융합의 오감적 체험 프로모션을 주제로 선정하였다. 아울러 본 연구는 SWOT/STP 마케 팅 분석 방법과 브레인스토밍을 사용하여 아트, 디자인, ICT, Marketing의 융합 브랜드를 구축하였다.끝으로 본 연구는 향후 마케팅을 기반한 융합 브랜드 개발에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

        척수손상 흰 쥐의 운동기능 회복에 미치는 손상부위 직접자극을 통한 기능적 자기자극치료 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of direct functional magnetic stimulation (FMS) of affected spinal cord on motor recovery following spinal cord injury in rats. Methods: After a contusion injury at the spinal level T9 using an NYU Impactor, functional magnetic stimulation was delivered by a magnetic stimulator through a round prototype coil (7 cm in diameter). Stimulation parameters were set as follows: repetition rate = 50 Hz (stimulus intensity 100% = 0.18 T), stimulation time = 20 min. Functional magnetic stimulation was administered twice a day, 5 days per week for 8 weeks starting 4 days after spinal cord injury. Functional magnetic stimulationwas delivered directly to the affected spinal cord. Outcomes of locomotor performance were assessed by the Basso Beattie Bresnahan (BBB) locomotor rating scale and by an inclined plane test weekly for 8 weeks. Results: In the BBB test, hindlimb motor function in the Functional magnetic stimulation group improved significantly more compared to the control group at 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8 weeks (p<0.05). In the inclined plane test, the angle of the plane in the functional magnetic stimulation group increased significantly more compared to the control group at 4, 5, 7, and 8 weeks (p<0.05). Conclusion: Our results demonstrate that direct Functional magnetic stimulation of the lesional site may have beneficial effects on motor improvement after spinal cord injury.

      • Association between the Nutritional Status at Birth and Need for Respiratory Support on the First Day of Life

        Purpose: Nutritional markers, such as total protein, albumin, and vitamin D have been reportedly associated with neonatal outcomes. This study aimed to assess the correlation between nutritional markers at birth and the need for respiratory support on the first day of life. Methods: This retrospective study included 94 newborns admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of Kyungpook National University Children's Hospital between March and December 2017. We measured levels of nutritional markers, including serum total protein, albumin, ferritin, 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OHD), and prealbumin, from cord blood or blood sample within 24 hours after birth. Respiratory support was defined as the use of nasal continuous positive airway pressure, humidified high-flow nasal cannula, or mechanical ventilation on the first day of life. Results: The mean gestational age and birth weight were 36.6±2.3 weeks and 2,714± 575 g, respectively. Serum total protein, albumin, prealbumin, and ferritin levels at birth were significantly correlated with gestational age and birth weight. Total protein, albumin, ferritin, and 25-OHD levels were not correlated with the time to recover birth weight after adjusting for gestational age. Moreover, prealbumin levels at birth were significantly lower in small-for-gestational-age infants than in appropriate-forgestational-age infants. The need for respiratory support on the first day of life decreased 0.058- and 0.001-fold for every 1 g/dL increase in serum total protein (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.004 to 0.833; P=0.036) and albumin (95% CI, 0.000 to 0.136; P=0.009) levels, respectively. Conclusion: Nutritional status at birth could be associated with the need for respiratory support on the first day of life, regardless of the Apgar score.

        Renal involvement in children and adolescents with inflammatory bowel disease

        Purpose: The incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is rapidly increasing, and several reports have described the renal complications of IBD. We sought to evaluate the clinical manifestations of renal complications in children with IBD in order to enable early detection and prompt treatment of the complications. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 456 children and adolescents aged <20 years who had been diagnosed with IBD since 2000. We analyzed patient age, sex, medication use, IBD disease activity, and clinical manifestations of renal symptoms. Results: Our study comprising 456 children with IBD included 299 boys (65.6%) and 157 girls (34.4%). The study included 346 children with Crohn disease and 110 children with ulcerative colitis. The incidence of kidney-related symptoms was 14.7%, which was significantly higher than that in normal children. We observed 26 children (38.8%) with isolated hematuria, 30 children (44.8%) with isolated proteinuria, and 11 children (16.4%) with hematuria and concomitant proteinuria. A renal biopsy was performed in 7 children. Histopathological examination revealed immunoglobulin A nephropathy in 5 children (71.4%). All children presented with mild disease and well-controlled disease activity of IBD. Conclusion: Children with IBD are more likely to show kidney-related symptoms than healthy children and adolescents are. Therefore, regular screening of urine and evaluation of renal function in such children are necessary for early detection of renal complications.

        Clinical Characteristics and Long-Term Prognosis of Alport Syndrome: A Retrospective Single-Center Study

        Purpose: Alport syndrome (AS) is one of the most common inherited renal diseases caused due to mutations of genes encoding specific proteins of the type IV collagen family, and its major clinical manifestations include progressive renal failure, sensorineural deafness, and ocular abnormalities. We investigated the clinical characteristics and long-term prognosis of AS in Korean pediatric and adult populations. Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of medical records of 33 children and adults who had been diagnosed or treated with AS from 1985 to 2019. Results: The mean age of the 33 patients diagnosed with AS was 16.2±13.6 years, and the male-to-female ratio was 2:1. At the first visit, recurrent gross hematuria was the most common initial symptom. In 10 of 33 patients (30.3%), sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) was diagnosed, but none had ophthalmic problems. Moreover, 11 of 33 patients (33.3%) had advanced to end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and a significant difference was observed in the age of the patients who progressed to ESRD based on the presence or absence of SNHL (P=0.035). Conclusion: SNHL in AS can be an important prognostic factor for long-term deterioration of renal function. Further investigation is required to confirm the clinical course and the genetic characteristics of AS in Korea through prospective national cohort studies.

      • Soft Magnetic Composites: Basics and Methods to Minimize Core Loss

        Soft magnetic composite (SMC) which can produce an innovative 3-dimensional core has been much attraction as the potential in various electrical machinery fields because of their superior soft magnetic properties such as a high magnetic permeability and a low core loss at a high frequency range. In general, SMC is composed of Fe-based ferromagnetic particles, and the surface of the iron particles is covered with an inorganic or organic insulation layer. It is possible to improve the surface resistance and thus form an insulated space between them, which can remarkably reduce the eddy-current losses. SMC is generally used as a part of a machine, but in the case of some electric machines, the need for developing high-strength SMC parts is being raised against the material is damaged by fatigue due to exposure to continuous vibration or external shock. There is a method to develop high-strength SMC by the densification of the surface insulating materials through annealing at high temperature (600 °C~1000 °C). However, in general, there is a disadvantage in that insulation is weakened after annealed at high temperature, so an evaluation is necessary to secure both strength characteristics and insulation coating layer retention. Herein, SMC with different inorganic coating materials which is well-known to withstand at high temperature; SiO₂, MgO, and PO₄ and stacking layer; mono or double parameters have been considered for magnetic characterization. All of the coated iron particles were prepared by a chemical sol-gel method, and the thickness of the formed coating layer was confirmed to be 500-600 nm on average through a scanning electron microscope and an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer. Based on the excellent insulating layer condition (i.e. mono-layers and double-layers, @SiO₂@MgO and @MgO@SiO₂), the core loss evaluation were conducted at high temperature (> 600 °C). Toroidal cores with an outer/inner diameter of 25/15 mm and a thickness of 3 mm were manufactured by cold pressing under a pressure of 500 MPa and then annealed for 1 h at 600 °C, 700 °C, 800 °C, and 900 °C, respectively, in Ar atmosphere to figure out the retention of insulation layer. As a result, as the annealing temperature increased, the core loss with phosphating layer rapidly increased at 1 kHz and 1T because it was carbonized and lost above 650 °C. As compared to the phosphating layer, on the other hand, the SMCs coated with SiO₂ or MgO or double layers annealed at 800 °C exhibited higher retained flux density as well as a significantly low increasing rate of core loss as the frequency and external magnetic field strength increased (at 0.05~1 kHz and 0.3~1 T). This work might be offered a noticeable ideal to design inorganic insulation layer for SMC applications under the high temperature atmospheres.

      • Improved magnetic properties of high saturation magnetization Fe-based amorphous flake-like powder core through temperature control

        Fe-based amorphous soft magnetic powder is considered an ideal material for soft magnetic composite (SMC) due to its excellent magnetic properties such as a low coercivity, a high resistance, and good DC bias characteristics. In general, the amorphous soft magnetic material is manufactured in the form of a ribbon or wire using a rapid solidification process. However, direct application in the form of ribbons or wires is very limited. Therefore, powder metallurgy has to be applied to manufacture soft magnetic parts with complex shapes. Previously, the gas atomization process was attempted to make amorphous soft magnetic metal powder. However, it is difficult to maintain amorphous due to the low cooling rate, therefore a larger amount of glass-forming metals is added. Accordingly, the iron content is limited and causes a low saturation magnetization. On the other hand, the melt spin process with a high cooling rate can manufacture a metal ribbon with high saturation magnetization. However, manufacturing the powder core using the melt spin process requires a milling process. In particular, there is a problem in that the milling efficiency is low due to the low ductility of the amorphous. Most Fe-based amorphous metals become brittle after heat treatment at a temperature lower than the crystallization temperature. Therefore, the temperature of pre-heat treatment is a factor that greatly affects the efficiency of the milling process, which is the next process. In addition, the flake-like powder produced through the milling process causes a low filling rate. Therefore, high pressure is used in the pressing process, and stress is generated in the core. The core heat treatment process after pressing removes the stress generated during the pressing process, which is a factor that affects main soft magnetic properties such as magnetic permeability, core loss, and DC bias characteristics. Sufficient temperature is required to relieve the stress, but amorphous must be maintained. Here, we demonstrated SMC using flake-like powder manufactured through the milling process and analyzed the effect of temperature during the manufacturing process. In this study, we demonstrate the milling effect according to the temperature of pre-heat treatment and analyze the soft magnetic properties according to the temperature of core annealing.

      • 월경 중에도 착용 가능한 ‘365 컴피 무브아 스포츠 레깅스’ 개발

        In this study, we developed the ‘365 Comfortable Mouvoir Leggings’ that combined sports leggings and sanitary pad integral panty structure which can relieve discomfort of female consumers during menstruation. As a result, three types of leggings were designed with a four-layer structure fabrics to absorb menstrual blood and make waterproofing possible. As a result of proto typing and wearing test of TYPE 1 and TYPE 2, problems of pattern structure and fabric were found, and the improvements were corrected and supplemented to complete the final TYPE 3 prototype. The completed ‘365 Comfortable Mouvoir Leggings’ is a four-layer structure absorption fabric pad attached existing leggings, forming ‘lining/absorption later/waterproof layer’. Additionally, it is designed with the incision line between the two legs and the curved incision line from the point where the dart starts in front of the waistline to the bottom of the calf and the knee incision line pattern that emphasizes the beauty of a woman’s body while considering muscle movement during strength exercise.
