        자연산 점몰개, Squalidus multimaculatus Hosoya et Jeon의 새인두흡충, Clinostomum complanatum (Rudolphi, 1814) 감염

        경상북도 영덕군의 하천에 서식하는 점몰개 spotted barbel gudgeon (Squalidus multimaculatus Hosoya et Jeon)의 근육에서 새인두흡충 Clinostomum complanatum (Rudolphi, 1814)의 피낭유충이 발견되었다. 감염된 점몰개는 "yellow grub"인 기생충의 피낭유충으로 인해 표면이 울퉁불퉁하게 보였으며, 수면위에 힘없이 유영하였고 일부 폐사한 개체도 발견되었다. 분리된 탈낭유충의 형태는 혓바닥 모양이었으며, 크기는 2.85~5.89 mm×0.8~1.99 mm였다. 어체당 1~98 개의 피낭유충을 분리하였으며 평균 감염수는 25개로 나타났다. 특히, 성어크기인 평균 7 cm 정도의 점몰개는 100% 감염되어 있었다. 본 연구는 한국의 자연수계에 서식하는 어류에서 C. complanatum 의해 질병이 발생하고 폐사가 일어난 첫 보고이다. The metacercariae of Clinostomum complanatum (Rudolphi, 1814) were isolated in the whole body muscle of wild freshwater fish, spotted barbel gudgeon (Squalidus multimaculatus Hosoya et Jeon) from the local river in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. The infected fish with bumpy body surface by "yellow grub" showed erratic swimming behavior and some fish were died. The isolated excysted metacercariae were tongue shaped and 2.85~5.89 mm × 0.8~1.99 mm in size. 1~98 metacercariae were isolated in individual fish and mean infection intensity was 25. All examined adult spotted barbel gudgeon sizing 7 cm in body length were infected. This is the first report of disease outbreak and mortality caused by C. complanatum infection in wild freshwater fish in Korea.

        일차성 Streptococcus pneumoniae 균혈증에 동반된 흉부 하행 대동맥염 1예

        페렴구균에 의한 대동맥염은 국내에서 1예만 보고될 정도로 매우 드문 감염증이다. 저자들은 원발성의 폐렴구균혈증에 합병된 페렴구균 대동맥염 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Bacterial aortitis is rare and without surgical intervention, it usually leads to uncontrolled sepsis or catastrophic hemorrhage, ultimately, resulting in death. In the postantibiotic era, the dominant infecting organisms are Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella spp.. In spite of frequent pneumococcal bacteremia, vascular seeding is rare and there is only one published report in Korea. We describe a 77-year-old female with primary pneumococcal bacteremia followed by aortitis of the descending aorta, which was successfully treated by aneurysmectomy, wide excision of periaortic tissue, aortobiiliac bypass via prosthetic graft, and antibiotic therapy.

      • Sodium bicarbonate와 Sodium cirate투여가 산 - 염기 평형과 무산소성 지구력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate loading on acid-base balance and anaerobic endurance. The subjects of this study were 6 healthy male university students. Six subjects (VO₂?: 63±10.3ml/㎏/min) were studied on five conditions following ingestion of 300ml solution containing a current sports-beverage (P: placebo) or sodium bicarbonate (B₁:240㎎/㎏ body weight, B₂: 300㎎/㎏ body weight), or sodium citrate (C₁: 240㎎/㎏ body weight, C₂: 300㎎/㎏ body weight). Arterialized-venous blood samples were drawn at specific time (pre-treatment=90 minute before treadmill running test, pre-exercise, recovery 3min, recovery 15min) and analyzed for blood pH, blood lactate concentration and blood HCO₃­concentration. Also, urine samples were taken three times (pre-treatment, pre-exercise, recovery 15min) for urine pH. Anaerobic endurance was determined by measuring exercise time to exhaustion at 95% VO₂? The results were as followings; 1. Urine pH at pre-treatment showed insignificant difference among five conditions. Urine pH at pre-exercise was highest in B₁and lowest in p(B₁>C₂>B₂>C₁>p; p<.001). At recovery 15min, urine oH showed significant difference among five conditions (B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.001). 2. Blood pH at pre-treatment showed insignificant difference among five conditions. But pre-exercise blood pH increased significantly in four conditions except placebo condition. And blood pH was highest in B₂ and lowest in p (B₂>B₁>C₂>C₁<p; p<.01). After 95% VO₂?exercise, blood pH decreased significantly in all conditions. And blood pH at recovery 3min was highest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.05). Blood pH at recovery 15min was higher than that at recovery 3min and didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was trended to be higher in C₁and C₂. 3. Blood HCO₃­concentration at pre-treatment didn’t show significant difference among five conditions pre-exercise blood HCO₃­concentration increased significantly in four conditions except placebo condition. And blood HCO₃­concentration was highest in B₁and lowest in P(B₁>B₂>C₂>C₁>p; p<.05). After exercise, blood HCO₃­concentration decreased significantly in all conditions but didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Blood HCO₃­concentration at recovery 3min was highest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁<C₂>C₁>P). Blood HCO₃­concentration at recovery 15min was higjest in B₁and lowest in P (B₁<C₂>B₂>C₁>P). Blood HCO₃­concentration at recovery 15min was higher than that at recovery 3min but didn’t show significant difference among five conditions. Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was highest in c₁and lowest in B₂(C₁>C₂>P>B₁>B₂). 4. Blood HLa concentration didn’t show significant difference among five conditions at pre-treatment, pre-exercise, recovery 3min and recovery 15min. Accumulation of blood HLa at recovery 3min was highest in B₂and lowest in P (B₂>B₁>C₁=C₂>P). Rate of recovery at 15min after exercise was 45%, 30%, 43%, 46% and 46% in P₁, B₁,B₂, C₁ and C₂, respectively. And rate of recovery was highest in C₁and C₂, and lowest in B₁(C₁=C₂>P>B₂>B₁). 5. There was not significant difference among anaerobic endurances under the five conditions. However, the exercise time to exhaustion in B₁, B₂, C₂ improved 19.5s(4.9%), 53.8s(14.5%), 59.3s(14.8%) and 75.2s(18.7%) compared to P, respectively. From these results, we concluded that ingestion of sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrace prior to exercise induces alkalosis and may affects the improvement of anaerobic endurance, and sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate can be used as a effective ergogenic aid. And improvement of anaerobic performance induced alkalotic dosage expect to be higher in sodium citrate than in sodium bicarbonate and higher in 300mg sodium citrate/㎏ body weight than 240mg sodium citrate/㎏ body weight.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

      • 싱글 튜브 시스템 BTA 工具를 使用한 SM55C 鋼의 深孔 加工 特性에 관한 硏究

        The BTA deep hole machining has an increasing demand because of its wide applications and its good productivity. The main feature of the BTA drill is that the tool cutting edges are unsymmetrically located on the boring head. This provides a stabilizing cutting force resultant necessary for self guidance of the boring head. The BTA drills are capable of machining for having large length to diameter ratio in single pass. The study of the accuracy and surface finish of holes produced would reveal quite useful information regarding the process. This thesis deals with the experimental results obtained during single tube system BTA machining on SM55C steel for different machining conditions.

      • 금강 하류역의 어류상에 관하여

        금강 하류역의 어류상을 밝히기 위하여 1990년 2월부터 12월까지의 기간에 월 2회씩 총 6개 조사지소에서 수온과 염분도의 측정 및 어류의 채집을 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 월평균 수온은 2월에 3.58℃로 가장 낮았고, 8월에 29.71℃로 가장 높게 나타났다. 조사지소별 평균 염분도는 St. 1에서 0.015‰로 가장 낮았고, St. 6에서 9.45‰로 가장 높았다. 2. 총 58종에 30,680개체의 어류가 채집되었으며, 종구성비로 볼 때 일차담수어는 21종(36.2%), 주연성담수어는 18종(31.0%), 그리고 해산어는 19종(32.8%)으로 나타났다. 3. 각 조사지소 중에서 St. 1, 2에서는 일차담수어가 우세하였으며, St. 3, 4에서는 주연성담수어가 우세하게 나타났고, St. 5, 6에서는 해산어와 주연성담수어가 우세하여 염분도 측정결과와 잘 일치하였다. 4. 총 58종 중에서 웅어 Coilia ectens, 누치 Hemibarbus labeo, 瘟歷早 Microphysogobio tungtingensis, 밀자개 Peltobagrus nitidus, 황줄망둑 Tridentiger nudicervicus, 오셀망둑 Lophiogobius ocellicauda, 강주걱양태 Repomucenus olidus 등의 어종에서는 계절적인 이동을 볼 수 있었으며, 이러한 이동은 수은 측정결과와 잘 일치하였다. 5. 총 58종 중 한반도 고유종은 일차담수어인 각시붕어 Rhodeus uyekii, 가시납지리 Acanthorhodeus gracilis, 왜매치 Abbottina springeri, 줄몰개 Gnathopogon strigatus, 긴물개 Squalidus gracilis majimae, 돌마자 Microphusogobio yaluensis 그리고 흰수마자 Gobiobotia naktongensis 등의 7종이었다. 6. 어류의 월별 체장분포로부터 황줄망둑 Tridentiger nudicervicus, 가실망둑 Acanthogobius ommaturus, 오셀망둑 Lophiogobius ocellicauda, 꺽정이 Trachydermus fasciatus, 그리고 돌가자미 Kareius biocloratus 등의 산란기와 생장율이 추정되었다. Fish fauna was investigated at six stations in Kum-river estuary during the periods from Feb. to Dec., 1990, twice a month. In order to reveal the environmental influences on fish fauna, water temperature and salinity were measured in each station. The results are as follows: 1. Water temperature was the highest with 31 C in Aug. (all stations) and the lowest with 2 C in Feb. (St. 4, 5, 6). Salinity was the highest with 16.45%0 at St. 6 in Feb. and the lowest with 0.06%0 at St. 1 in July. 2. From the study of fishes were identified a total of 58 taxa representing 22 family, 47 genera, 55 species and 3 subspecies. The composition of fishes based on habitats was composed of 21 primary freshwater fishes, 18 pheripheral freshwater fishes and 19 marine fishes, respectively. 3. Primary freshwater fishes were dominated at St. 1 and St. 2, while pheripheral freshwater fishes and marine fishes were dominated at St. 5 and St. 6. It was in accordance with the distribution of salinity gradient. 4. Among 58 taxa, Coilia ectens, Hemibarbus hbeo, Microphysogobio tungtingensis, Pelteobagrus nitidus, Tridentiger nudicervicus, Lophiogobius ocellicauda and Repomucenus olidus were to be a seasonal migrations, it was corresponded with the variations of water temperature. 5. Among 58 taxa, Rhodeus uyekii, Acanthorhodeus gracilis, A bbottim springeri, Gnatbpogon stn gatus, Squalidus gracilis majimue, Microphysogobio yaluensis and Gobiobotiu naktongensis were the Korean endemic species in this study area. 6. From the distribution of monthly body length, Tridentiger nudicervicus, Acanthogobius ommaturus, Lophiogobius ocellicauda, Trachydemzus fmiutus and Kareius bicoloratus, could be estimated the spawning periods and growth rate.

        자동차 공조용 핀형 열교환기의 성능특성에 관한 연구

        Fin-tube type(Fin-type) heat exchanger has been tested in order to replace the heat exchanger of parallel flow type(P.F-type) which is now widly used in automobile air conditioning system. The following conclusions are drawn by the comparison of the characteristics of the heat exchangers. Evaporator and condenser capacities and COP(Coefficience of performance) were varied as with the compressor speed, outdoor air temperature and air flow rate changed, which much influenced on the characteristics of the air conditioning system. Evaporator and condenser capacities were increased with increasing compressor speed and outdoor air temperature. Evaporator and condenser pressures of Fin- type were decreased by 7% and 5% respectively compared with those of P.F-type. The COP of Fin-type was decreased with increasing outdoor air temperature and compressor speed. The COP of P.F-type was decreased by 14% compared with that of Fin-type.

      • UASB 반응기에서 제지폐수 처리를 위한 생물학적 속도론 모델에 관한 연구

        The granulation of sludge in the UASB reactor is beneficial to stable operation of the reactor at a high volumetric COD loading rate and high hydraulic loading rate, because it improves the setting ability of sludge and the granular sludge acquired has high methanogenic activity. The design of integral biogas?/liquid/solids seperators varies among suppliers of UASB technology. Comples, soluble organic compounds are the first to be hydrolyzed (Stage 1) to simple organics. These simple organics are converted by acid-forming bacteria to C₄H?COOH, C₃H?COOH, CH₃COOH, H₂ and CO₂ in a acidogenic phase(STAGE 2). The higher organic acids are subsequently converted to CH₃COOH and H₂(Stag 3) by acetogenic bacteria. The final step(Stage 4) to produce CH₃ is carried out by me-thano-bacterium. The kinetics of anaerobic digestion of paper wastewaters largely depends on the environmental conditions. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the kinetics of methane production from paper was tewaters in the UASB. A four-step reaction mechanism was proposed for modeling methanogenesis of anaerobic treatment of paper waterwaters.
