        운동형태의 차이가 Alloxan유발 당뇨쥐의 혈당 및 인슐린 농도에 미치는 영향

        The Purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of exercise intensity on blood glucose and insulin levels in diabetic rats with alloxan. Twenty sprague-dawley male rats were assigned to power training groups(n=10) and endurance training groups(n=10). Diabetes was induced by single injection of alloxan(50 mg/kg B.W) Blood glucose and insulin were determined every week for 4-weeks. The conclusion of this study follows as below: 1) There was significantly different on blood glucose levels in two groups. 2) There was significantly different on insulin levels in two groups These results suggest that proper exercise intensity in diabetic rats can significantly decrease blood glucose and insulin level and make good glycemic control. In conclusion, it has been found that regular prolonged endurance training with diabetic rats, improves insulin and blood glucose.

      • 무기 이소시안화 및 티오시안화 전이금속 화합물의 구조에 관한 연구

        IR, UV 그리고 EPR 분석을 통해 〔R_4N〕_2 〔M(NCX)_4〕 (이 때, R=CH_3^+, C_2H_5^+; M=Cd Cu, Zn, X=O, S) 화합물의 착이온에서 중심 금속이 N과 결합하고 있는지 아니면 O, S와 결합하고 있는지를 연구했다. 위의 모든 화합물은 금속이 N과 결합된 것으로 규명되었다. Cd(Ⅱ)과 Cu(Ⅱ) 화합물은 일그러진 정사면체 구조에 의해 C-N, C-S 신축진동수의 분리를 보였다. IR 스펙트럼에서 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕는 단일선의 C-N 신축진동수를 보인 반면, 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕는 일그러진 정사면체 구조에 기인한 이중선을 보였다. 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔(Cu(NCS)_4〕는 d-d 전이로 판단되는 넓은 전자흡수띠가 438nm 근처에서 관찰된 반면, 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕는 d-d전이에 의한 흡수띠가 관찰되지 않았다. 5% Cu(Ⅱ)이 혼입된 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔Cd(NCS)_4〕의 EPR 스펙트럼은 비등방성 구조를 지녔으나, 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cd(NCS)_4〕는 비등방성 뿐만 아니라 정규적인 정사면체 구조의 증거인 등방성을 상온에까지 지녔다. IR, UV and EPR spectra of the compounds whose formulas are 〔R_4N〕_2 〔M(NCX)_4〕, where R=CH_3^+, C_2H_5^+ and M=Cd, Cu, Zn;X=O, S have been studied in order to investigate whether the isocyanato, thiocyanato group is bonded to the central metal through the nitrogen atop or through the sulfur, oxygen atom in those complex ions. All above complexes showed that the metal is linked through the nitrogen atom. It was turned out to be that. the splitting in C-N and C-S stretching frequencies of Cd(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) compounds is due to the distorted tetrahedral structure of those compounds. While IR spectrum of 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕 showed singlet C-N stretching frequency, 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕 showed doublet which indicates that the compound has a distorted tetrahedral structure. 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕 was observed to have a broad electronic absorption band near 438 nm which originates from d-d transition. On the other hand, 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cu(NCS)_4〕 did not show an absorption band due to d-d transition. EPR. spectrum of Cu(Ⅱ) doped 〔(C_2H_5)_4N〕_2 〔Cd(NCS)_4〕 showed anisotropic structure and 〔(CH_3)_4N〕_2 〔Cd(NCS)_4〕 showed both anisotropic and isotropic structure even at room temperature which is an evidence of regular tetrahedral structure.

        정신분열병 환자에서 가족력, 산과적 합병증 및 신체미세기형의 관련성에 관한 연구

        연구목적 : 저자들은 태생기 동안에 받는 유전외적 요인, 즉 환경적 요인이 산발성 정신분열병 환자들의 발병에 크게 관여할 것이라고 가정하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 형제 중 1인 이상이 발병하여 가족력을 분명히 알 수 있는 정신분열병 환자군(이하 형제 환자군)과 가족력이 없는 산발성 정신분열병 환자군(이하 산발성 환자군) 및 정상대조군을 대상으로 산과적 합병증, 신체미세기형 및 정신분열병의 임상 양상을 비교하였다. 방 법 : 연구 대상은 형제 환자군 43명(남 22명, 여 21명), 산발성 환자군 43명(남 23명, 여 20명), 정상대조군 43명(남 20명, 여 23명)이었다. 산과적 합병증은 Lewis 척도를 이용하여 평가하였고 신체미세기형은 Waldrop 척도를 이용하여 측정하였다. 임상 양상으로서 발병 연령, 병전 기능 수준, 정신병리, 약물에 대한 반응, 회복시의 전반적 기능 수준, 지연성 운동장애의 유무를 평가하였다. 결 과 : 정상대조군과 정신분열병 환자군 전체를 비교하였을 때 산과적 합병증과 신체미세기형의 총점과 각 소항목의 점수에 차이가 없었다. 산발성 환자군과 형제 환자군을 비교하였을 때 산과적 합병증의 전체 점수에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 출생 당시에 태아가 받은 스트레스 항목의 점수가 산발성 환자군에서 유의하게 높았다. 신체미세기형에서는 전체 점수 및 입의 미세기형 점수가 산발성 환자군에서 유의하게 높았다. 신체미세기형의 전체 점수가 4점 이상인 환자수도 산발성 환자군에서 높은 경향성을 보였다. 산과적 합병증과 신체미세기형 사이의 상호 연관성은 찾을 수 없었다. 정신분열병의 임상 양상 중에서는 Krawiecka 척도의 총점 및 양성 증상 점수와 회복시의 전반적 기능 수준만이 형제 환자군에 비해 산발성 환자군에서 유의하게 높았다. 성별에 따라서는 형제 환자군에서 남자 환자의 산과적 합병증이 유의하게 높았다. 결 론 : 본 연구를 통해 산과적 합병증 및 신체미세기형 연구가 정신분열병의 원인을 규명하기 위한 유용한 방법임이 시사되었지만, 가족력, 산과적 합병증 및 신체미세기형의 관련성에 대해서는 분명한 결론을 내리지 못하였다. The authors hypothesized that sporadic schizophrenic patients had more chances of receiving environmental insults during the fetal neural development compared with familial schizophrenics. We tested our hypothesis by comparing obstetric complications(OCs), minor physical anomalies(MPAs) and other clinical features, and examining the correlation between OCs and MPAs in schizophrenic patients who had one or more sibling with schizophrenia(sibling group) and sporadic schizophrenics(sporadic group) and normal controls. OCs were evaluated by the scale of Lewis, and MPAs were measured by the Waldrop scale. There were no significant difference in OCs and MPAs between schizophrenic and control groups. Sporadic group had significantly higher fetal distress, total Waldrop score and Waldrop score for mouth than sibling group. And there was a tendency that the number of subjects having the Waldrop score over 4 points was greater in the sporadic group. No significant correlation was observed between CCs and MPAs. The scores of initial psychopathology and post-treatment functioning were much higher in the sporadic group, but the other clinical feature showed no difference. Although male patients had more OCs than female patients in sibling group, no sex difference were observed as a whole. Our results suggest that, if the methodological weakness were complemented, OCs and MPAs would be useful tools in the search for the cause of schizophrenia.

        Electrochemical Degradation of Benzoquinone in a Flow through Cell with Carbon Fibers

        The anodic degradation of benzoquinone(BQ), a model compound for wastewater treatment was carried out using a home-made flow-through electrochemical cell with carbon fibers. To optimize the controlled current electrolysis condition of an aqueous BQ solution, the experimental variables affecting the degradation of BQ, such as the applying current, pH, reaction time, and flow rate of the BQ solution were examined. The degradation products of the oxidation reaction were identified by High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer. Low molecular weight aliphatic acids, and CO2 were the major products in this experiment. The removal efficiency of BQ from the solution increased with the applying current and time. 99.23% of 1.0 × 10-2 M BQ was degraded to aliphatic acids and CO2 when the applying current is 175 mA in a 12 hr electrolysis.

        Endocervical adenocarcinoma is an uncommon malignancy that is composed of multiple subtypes and accounts for ∼15% of all cervical cancers. In this article, we describe a 68-year-old woman who had received modified radical hysterectomy with endocervical adenocarcima in a D/C/B. The patient was post op state with endocervical adenocarcinoma FIGO 1B1. She presented mass under the op site scar and then excisional biopsy was done. The result of exisional biopsy was adenocarcinoma. Now she has close observation with CCRTx. In this case, we aimed to discuss recurrence of endocervial adenocarcinoma and threatment.

      • Development of Novel SSR Markers using NGS sequencing and Genetic Relationship Analysis in Blueberry (Vaccinium spp.)

        Blueberry (Vaccinium spp.) is a member of the Ericaceae and eleven varieties have been registered at the Korea Seed & Variety Service for Plant Variety Protection (PVP). This study was to develop simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers next generation sequencing (NGS) analysis and to analysis genetic relationship of blueberry 31 varieties. Highbush blueberry ‘Camellia’ and rabbiteye blueberry ‘Alapaha’ varieties were used as sequencing materials. Out of total 987 SSR primers detected between ‘Camellia’ and ‘Alapaha’, 148 SSR primers were initially applied to select SSR markers for identification of blueberry varieties. Fourteen SSR markers showed polymorphism between 8 varieties. Seven SSR markers showed reproducibility and clear peak among 14 SSR markers. Genetic relationships of 31 blueberry varieties were analyzed and identified using 7 SSR markers. A total of 30 polymorphic SSR alleles were obtained and two to seven alleles were detected for each locus with an average of 4.3 alleles per locus. Average polymorphism information content was 0.556, ranging from 0.374 to 0.714. Genetic distance of clusters ranged from 0.38 to 0.93 by unweighted pair-group method with arithmetical average based on Jaccard’s distance coefficients. These newly developed SSR markers indicate usefulness for variety identification related to seed dispute and distinctness, uniformity and stability (DUS) test for blueberry.

        Simultaneous Detection of Cd (II), Pb (II), Cu (II), and Hg (II) Ions in Dye Waste Water Using a Boron Doped Diamond Electrode with DPASV

        The simultaneous detection of Cd (II), Pb (II), Cu (II), and Hg (II) ions in aqueous medium using a BDD electrode with DPASV is described. XPS was used to characterize the chemical states of trace metal ions deposited on the BDD electrode surface. Experimental parameters that affect response, such as pH, deposition time, deposition potential, and pulse amplitude were carefully optimized. The detection limits for Cd (II), Pb (II), Cu (II), and Hg (II) ions were 3.5 ppb, 2.0 ppb, 0.1 ppb and 0.7 ppb, respectively. The application of the BDD electrode on the electrochemical pretreatment for the simultaneous metal detection in the dye waste water was also investigated.

        Synthesis and Reactivity of a Mononuclear Manganese(II) Complex Having Pseudo-Seven Coordination Environment

        Utilizing a planar five coordinating N3S2 ligand, 2,6-bis(2-methylthiophenyliminomethyl)pyridine, a pseudo 7-coordinated manganese(II) complex with two labile triflate anions in the axial positions was synthesized. The reaction of the manganese(II) complex with an oxidant, iodosylbenzene, produced a metastable high-valent manganese(IV)-oxo species at 0 ${^{\circ}C}$. The high-valent Mn(IV)-oxo intermediate was characterized with a UV-vis spectrophotometer and an electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy. Reactivity studies of the Mn(IV)=O species revealed that the intermediate is capable of oxygenating $PPh_3$ and N-dealkylating N,N-dimethyl-toludine.
