Genetic Characterization of Haemagglutinin 1 Domain of Influenza B Viruses Isolated in Korea during $1988{\sim}1999$

Although Korean influenza virus isolates have been genetically associated with the vaccine strains of the corresponding year, influenza B viruses have prevailed almost every year in Korea during the past decades. We have 'analyzed the genetic characteristics and evolutionary patterns of the haemagglutinin (HA) 1 domains of influenza B viruses isolated during 1988-1999 using direct RT-PCR and sequencing. Phylogenetic analysis of influenza B viruses isolated in Korea indicated that antigenically and genetically distinguishable strains of the lineage II and lineage III variants had been cocirculated. Variants prevailed in early 1990s are represented in 1996/97 and 1998/99 and some different variants have been co circulated geographically and prevailed concurrently in Korea. All HA1s of Korean isolates have amino acid substitutions mainly in the region between position 124 and 310, which was previously proposed an immunodominant region. Insertion-deletion patterns of the HA gene revealed that Korean influenza B viruses were evolved from Lee40 with different manner between lineage II and III viruses. Lineage III viruses were also divided into two groups as conserved group and inserted group, in relation to Lee40. But lineage II viruses had evolved with directional pattern. Antigenic index proposed that influenza B isolates prevailed since 1996/97 seasons might had emerged from the antigenic variants of a Seo1697-like virus and that new variants might appear from the lineage II viruses resulting in persistent prevalence in Korea.

C_57BL/6계 생쥐와 Nude계 생쥐의 오금림프절내 림프소절 및 종자중심의 분포에 관한 3차원적 연구

This study was aimed to clarify the distribution of lymph follicles and germinal centers in the lymph nodes of the C_57BL/6 and nude strain mice. Male adult mice were used in this study. After animal were sacrificed, the right popliteal lymph nodes were removed and fixed in Zenker-formol solution for 3 hours and embedded in JB-4 resin. One of every two section, cut 3㎛ in thickness serially, was stained with May-Gru‥nwald and Giemsa solution. The results obtained from this study were as follows; 1. The number of lymph follicles per popliteal lymph node was average 11.25 C_57BL/6 mice but, the number of lymph follicles in nude mice was 20.25. In C_57BL/6 mice major distribution(8.5) of the lymph follicles situated in peripheral cortex overlying the unit(PCOU). In unde mice major distribution(14) is peripheral cortex beyond the unit(PCBU). 2. The thickness of most lymph follicles was between 0.01-0.19 mm in C_57BL/6 mice. But in nude mice the thickness of most of lymph follicles was between 0.20-0.39mm 3. The number of lymph follicies contained germinal center was 8.75 in nude mice. But C_57BL/ 6 mice was not observed germinal centers. 4. The average number of deep cortex is 1.5 and shape is semiovoid in C_57BL/6 mice. Spherical shaped deep cortex was observed and the number of that is one in nude mice. In stained section low density deep cortex was observed in nude mice specifically. 5. The size of lymph follicle in C_57BL/6 mice is 0.405mm and in nude mice 0.795mm

복수과 진료 환자의 중복 처방에 대한 분석 및 평가

In an aging society, there is an increasing possibility of the duplication of the drugs given to patients because they take many kinds of drugs. Among the prescriptions given to the patients who was treated at multiple ambulatory clinics in St. Mary's hospital for one month of September, 2002, in which drugs that has identical or similar effects are prescribed, we analysed and evaluated them by patients' characteristics, kinds of medication, severity of side effects on a case by case basis. More, we assessed the potential additional costs. As a result of this study, the duplication rate turned out to be 6.69% and it was shown that the proportion of the elderly patients over 60 was high. The gastro-intestinal medications took up a large part and most of the cases showed that the danger caused by double taking of medicine was slight, but there were some examples in which the serious side effects were predicted. Expected additional costs were the average 11.349 won and it ranges from the minimum of 56 won to the maximum of 135,720 won. In conclusion, the management of drug histories of the patients who need the plural treatments is very important and the necessity of the individual and professional guidance of taking medicines for the elderly patients is emerged, too.

집단 따돌림 피해학생을 대상으로 한 인지행동적 집단치료 개발을 위한 예비 연구

본 연구는 집단 따돌림 피해학생을 대상으로 시행한 인지행동적 집단치료의 개발을 위한 예비 연구이다. 정상적인 중학교 1학년 학생 202명에게 도덕발달수준척도, 오퍼 자아상척도, 우울 및 상태ㆍ특성불안척도의 분포와 상관관계를 조사하였다. 자아상과 우울, 불안은 서로 강한 상관관계를 보였으나, 도덕발달과는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다. 이는 도덕발달이 정서에 크게 영향받지 않고 인지 발달적 과정에 의존하는 것을 시사한다. 그리고 교사의 관찰에 의해 집단 따돌림 피해를 받으면서 학교 적용에 어려움을 보이는 중학교 1학년 학생 5명의 도덕발달수준척도, 오퍼 자아상척도, 우울 및 상태ㆍ특성불안척도는 전체 집단과 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이 피해학생들을 대상으로 12회에 걸쳐 인지적 집단 정신치료를 시행하고, 치료 전후에 상기 4가지 척도의 변화를 평가하여 효용성을 검정하였으나 통계학적으로 유의한 변화는 없었다. 그러나 참가 학생들이 치료 기간 중에 기재한 일기에서 확인되는 심리적 마음자세(psychological mindedness)의 향상과 담임 교사의 긍정적인 평가보고는 의미있는 것으로 생각되었다. 중심 단어 : 집단 따돌림ㆍ인지행동적 집단치료ㆍ청소년ㆍ자아상ㆍ도덕발달ㆍ우울ㆍ불안 Bullying is the intentional, unprovoked abuse of power by one or more children to inflict pain on or cause distress to another child on repented occasions. Bullying can be considered to be a form of child abuse : peer abuse. Victims suffer adverse effects in the short and long term. If bullying is regarded as a form of abuse then professionals have a duty to detect it, take it seriously, and ensure that it is deal with to reduce the child's suffering and minimize the potential long term effects. This study is aimed preliminarily the development of cognitive behavioral group therapy for school bullied. 202 normal middle school freshman responded to self report scales-Offer's Self-Image Questionnaire-Revised, Children's Depression Inventory, Spielberger State/Trait Anxiety scale, and Defining Issues Test. The data were analyzed with Pearson's correlation to test the relationship among the above 4 variables. Self Image, depression, and anxiety were correlated strongly each other. But moral development was not correlated with self image, depression, and anxiety. Five school bullied students were referred by their teacher for school maladjustment. The author tried 12 sessions of Cognitive-Behavioral group therapy and assessed their behaviors pre- and post intervention by above 4 scales. There were no significant different intervention effects statistically. 임부의 연령에 따른 보완대체요법에 관한 인식 태도 경험 비교 연구

Purpose: This study aims to test if the age of pregnant women affects the perception, experience, and attitude towards complementary alternative therapy (CAT), by investigating the perception, experience, and attitude of pregnant women under the age of 35, and above 35 (Advanced Maternal Age). The study will 1) find the general characteristics of pregnant women under and over the age of 35 2) compare the perception, behavior, and experience of pregnant women under and over the age of 35, and 3) find the comparison of the perception, behavior, and experience according to the general characteristics of pregnant women under and over the age of 35. Method: The subjects of this study are composed of 44 women under the age of 35 and 44 women above the age of 35, totaling 88 pregnant women visiting midwiferies, obstetrics and gynecology, and baby fairs in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi area. Data for this study was collected from November 28, 2015 to January 6, 2016 for 40 days. The collected data analyzed mean, standard deviation, t test, ANOVA, and chi-square by using SPSS 23.0. Result Results show that there is a significant difference in the perception, attitude, and experience of the two-sample groups in the use of CAT. The question of “what is most necessary when applying CAT in a hospital clinical environment” for the perception criteria came out with the results of t=9.980, p<.05. For the attitude, results showed that the answers of pregnant women under the age of 35 displayed a more positive attitude towards CAT. (t=2.421, p<.05) Lastly, in the experience section, pregnant women under the age of 35 showed more CAT use than the other sample group. Conclusion Results have shown that there is a difference in the perception, behavior, and experience between the two sample groups. Therefore further research on the efficacy and the adverse effects of CAT needs to be done.

This study is to analyze the works introduced in the collections of Paco Rabanne in an aim to identify formative aesthetic and design concepts. As the data to study the creative concepts and expressions of the designer, fashion photographs were gathered in a focus on collections. Paco Rabanne's fashion philosophy is to shine women who has passion, energy and self-confidence, with glittering materials. For he had a career of fashion accessary designer and architect, he tried to make his work constructively with non-sewing technology. So, his works could be divided three parts of materials which he has made creative fashion with. They are metallic, non-metallic and fabric. In metallic, design concepts are cosmos, egypt, the middle ages, modern technology. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by the futurism, cubism and eroticism. In non-metallic, building, purism of primitiveness, nature. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by surrealism, primitivism, romantism. In fabric, design concepts are natural phenomena, optical illusion. And from these the formative aesthetic were mainly characterized by cubism, optical art.

소수계 유역 인공습지에서 식생 밀도 차이에 따른 영양염류 제거효율

호주 시드니 인근 도·농 복합 소도시로부터 발생하는 비점오염원을 처리하기 위하여 설치된 Plumpton park와 Woodcroft park 인공습지의 처리효율을 살펴본 결과, 수생식물의 밀도가 증가하고 식생이 안정된 Plumpton park 인공습지에서 T-P의 26.2%, T-N의 38.3%, 식생분포가 안정적이지 않은 Woodcroft park에서 14.0%와 20.2%가 각각 제거됨으로서 식물체 근권 미생물에 의한 T-P 및 T-N의 제거 효율이 상당히 큼을 알 수 있었다. 또한 T-N와 T-P에 비하여 NH₄-N, NO₃-N, PO₄^(-3)의 제거율이 높았던 것은 무기태 형태의 영양염류가 식물 및 미생물에 더 쉽게 이용되었기 때문으로 생각된다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 인공습지에서 식물체와 근권 주위 미생물에 의한 염류제거는 인공습지가 설치한지 오래되었을 때도 효과적이었고, 또한 인공습지는 무기태 영양염류의 제거효율이 더욱 높았으므로 무기화학비료 등의 용탈이 일어나기 쉬운 농경지 비점오염원으로부터 발생하는 수질오염의 개선에 이용할 수 있는 경제적이고도 효율적인 system으로 고려되었다. This study was conducted to evaluate effects of 2 constructed wetlands with different vegetation states (Plumpton park wetland and Woodcroft park wetland) for reducing non-point source pollution from small watershed consisted of residential and agricultural area in suburban district of Sydney, Australia. The total nitrogen and phosphate removal efficiency of Plumpton park constructed wetland, composed of stable and dense vegetation, were 38.3% and 26.2% and Woodcroft park constructed wetland having still poor vegetation due to the short time to settle down transplanted plants after construction, showed relatively low removal efficiency of 20.2% and 14.0%. The removal efficiency of inorganic nutrients such as NH₄-N, NO₃-N, PO₄^(-3) were higher than total nitrogen and phosphate because plants and microorganisms in rhizosphere of constructed wetlands took up inorganic nutrients shortly. According to the type of wetland inflow, the nutrients removal efficiency of storm water flow was lower than base flow.

This study was carried out by co-reaserchers(one is a performer, the other is a composer) who exchanged ideas with each other for the purpose of establishing an objective way of playing the twentieth century's major works of music. The study will play a crucial role in having the modern works perform more on local stages: actually there is a tendency to perform the classic works more often than to perform modern works. This is the reason why we preferred "suggestion" to "an analysis" as the title so that we could provide a clear purpose for this study. We chose Sechs kleine Klavierstucke, which characterizes the middle stage of Arnold Schonberg 's musical life, for the object of study because we thought of this work as musically simple and lucid which is greatly different from the musical traditions of the past and corresponds to the purpose of our study. More correctly speaking, we did not include such reasons as "Because this work is very imfortant in the history of modern music" or "Because this work is masterpiece in his music." We divided our study into three parts: philological investigation, analysis for performance and conclusion. Sechs kleine Klavierstucke might not be said to have a perfect sonata form but it can be regarded as a work intended for sonata form with metamorphoses. For in this work, as below, the contents of the third and fourth pieces are not very different from those of the first and second pieces in the aspect of music development. These aspects show that Schonberg was a composer who was interested in the traditional form of music in spite of living in the twentieth century. ◁그림삽입▷(원문을 참조하세요) Through this study we concluded that the works of the twentieth century could be performed on the basis of traditional forms. In other words, if we can find 'what is the same?' or 'what is different?' in the standards of traditional forms of music we can conceive of a method for the good performance of the twentieth century's works. In this respect, it seems to me that the last judge of music is 'the ear' of listeners. If we systematically study, we will have 'the ear' to understand 'the new'. Finally we hope that our study can give the fellow performers better opportunities to approach the twentieth century's works.

현대패션에 나타난 다원주의적 표현성

The purpose of this study is to analyze expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion. This study has three parts. They are to understand the concept of pluralism, to find the fashion environments of pluralism in terms of politics, economics, sociality, culture, science, and art, and to analyze expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion. The concept of pluralism in contemporary fashion is the diversity and compounds of fashion images. The environments of pluralism in contemporary fashion are multinational economic system, virtual world of internet, mass-culture and post-modern art. And expression of pluralism in contemporary fashion is analyzed into publicity. Publicity is expressed by using things of common lifestyle and the past that people used to and are well-known. Horizontality is expressed by coordination of male-female facts and property-poorness without high or low concept. Multi-nation is expressed by mixing various kind of national characteristics and Virtuality is expressed by layering and collaging complex facts that are not connected each other.
