        The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics, change in physique and physical function of college students majoring physical education and Taekwondo (454 males and 64 females of age groups ranging from 18 to 26). The results are as following: 1. The male group of 23yrs old in physical education showed highest values in 7 items(Weight, Chest Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness and Suprailiac Skinfold Thickness). 2. In the Physical function, the male group of 18yrs old showed highest values in Power, Flexibility, and then 21yrs old at Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and 23yrs old at Grip Strength, and 25yrs old at Blood Pressure, respectively. 3. In the physique, the male group of 22yrs old showed highest values in Weight, Chest Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth, and then 24yrs old Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, and 19yrs old at Height, Upper Limb Length, respectively. 4. In Physical Function, the 22yrs old showed highest values in Back Strength, Vital Capacity, and then 23yrs old at Side Step, Trunk Extension, but 18yrs old showed lower Values in Grip Strength, Side Step, Vital Capacity and Blood Pressure. 5. The female group of 22yrs old showed highest values in 8 items(Height, Sitting Height, Waist Girth, Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length, Skinfold Thickness), and then 18yrs old at 5 items (Weight, Upper Arm Girth, Fore Arm Girth, Thigh Girth, Calf Girth), respectively. 6. In the physical function, the 22yrs old showed highest Values in Grip strength, Back Strength, Power, 5 Minute Run, and 18yrs old at flexibility, Harvard Step Test, respectively. 7. In the change of the physique for two years(1988-1989) in the male group, majoring Physical education the 22yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 20yrs old in 3 items, but 18yrs old showed decrease in 3 items. 8. In the change of the physical function for two years in the male group, the 20yrs old showed increase in 4 items, and the 21, 25, 26yrs old in 3 items, but the 19yrs old showed decrease in 6 items, and 18, 22 yrs old in 5 items, respectively. 9. The change of the physique for two years in all female group, of 18, 19, 20, 21yrs old showed increase in 11 items except Skinfold Thickness. 10. In the change of physical function for two years in female group, the 18yrs old showed increase in 3 items, and then 20yrs old in 5 items, but 19, 22yrs old decreased 12 items, respectively. 11. The highest significant difference in physique between male and female was found in weight(mean Value 17.5%), and the lowest difference was found Thigh Girth, Calf Girth(1,3%), Upper Limb Length, Lower Limb Length(2.5%). 12. The Highest difference in physical function was Strength (mean Value 40%), Vital Capacity (33%), Power(22%), but Lower Trunk Flexion, Foot Balance(3.4%). 13. In the difference of Physique and physical function between physical education major and taekwondo major, the physical education showed higher values in skinfold Thickines (mean Value 16.5%), Weight, Waist Girth(4.7%) and Strength(33%), Endurance(5.6%), but subjects majoring Taekwondo showed higher values in Flexibility and Foot Balance. 14. In all male groups, Waist Girth, Scapular Skinfold Thickness, Back Strength, Sargent Jump, Trunk Extension and Diastolic Blood Pressure were showed a significantly related at 0.001 level.

        Several 6-substituted-1,3,5- triazine-2,4-dithiol derivatives were prepared and their infrared were recorded on KBr disk. All these compounds show distinctly separate absortion bands for C-S and C-N streching. Each of these bands is split into a doublet. This is explained in terms of the existence of rotational isomers.

        The simulation of target-scattered echo with the moving sonar platform and target in 3-dimensional ocean environment is essential to validate and evaluate the performance of a sonar system. This paper presents the improved target signal simulation on the basis of the highlight(HL) model and its realtime algorithm. In order to simulate the scattering highlight, the highlight is represented as a directional scatterer. The realtime generation algorithm of the target signal is realized by use of DSP chip, TMS320C40, where the 40 channels are equally separated to form a parallel processing task in 4 processors. The presented realtime-version of target signal simulation can be used as a target signal simulator in the development of ACM(Acoustic Counter Measure) and advanced sonar signal processing techniques.

        고추수침엑스가 Streptococcus mutans B-13의 세포외 다당류 합성에 미치는 영향에 관한 전자현미경적 연구

        Streptococcus mutans B-13 was cultured in sucrose broth containing water-extract of capsicum and the effect of the extract was observed with the aid of electron microscope, in an effort to elucidate the anti-cariogenic effect of capsicum in white rats observed during the previous experiment. Growth curve was also obtained in the presence or in the absence of the extract. The results were as follows : 1. S. mutans B-13 produce no extracellular polysaccharide in glucose broth. 2. In sucrose broth, extracellular polysaccharides with two components were produced ; that is, electron-dense, globular and relatively homogenous material and widespread fibrillar component. 3. In sucrose broth containing water-extract of capsicum, production of extracellular polysaccharide was almost completely suppressed. Growth was also influenced by the extract. 4. It seems that certain material which is capable of suppressing the production of extracellular polysaccharide and of influencing growth is present in water-extract of capsicum and that anti-cariogenic effect of capsicum is probably related to this unidentified material.

      • 벼 담수골표면산파 재배의 파종방법 및 효과

        담수골 표면산파시 안정입모 확보를 위한 파종 골거리와 깊이 및 파종전 후 물 관리 등에 따른 효과 및 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. <적정 골거리 및 골깊이 구명> 1. ㎡당 입모수는 128-168개로 골 깊이 및 골거리에 관계없이 충분한 입모수가 확보되었고, 골내 입모율은 골거리 10㎝, 골깊이 8㎝에서 가장 높았고, 골 형성 정도는 골 거리 15㎝, 골 깊이 8㎝에서 비교적 양호하였다. 2. ㎡당수수는 각각 384∼428개로 처리간에는 뚜렷한 경향이 없었고, 수당립수는 76∼88개로 골거리가 깊을수록 적었고, 등숙율은 77.3∼84.6%로 골 거리간에는 차이가 없었으나 골 깊이간에는 깊을수록 높았다. 3. 담수골표면산파시 쌀 수량은 451∼534㎏/10a로 담수표면산파 448/㎏ 대비 1∼19% 증수되었고, 골 거리 15㎝, 골 깊이 8㎝에서 쌀 수량이 가장 높았다. 4. 담수골표면산파는 담수표면산파에 비해 줄기 매몰심이 깊고 포장 도복피해 정도는 골 깊이가 깊을수록 적었고 담수표면산파는 완전도복 되었다. <골형성후 파종상태 구명> 1. 골 형성정도는 양호하였으며, 종자몰림 및 부묘 정도는 거의 없었고, 골 내입모율은 68∼74%로 산파를 하였으나 어느 정도 조파형태로 입모 되었으며, ㎡당 입모수는 123개였음. 2. 줄기매몰심은 1.6∼2.2㎝로 깊게 매몰되었으며, 포장도복은 거의 없었으나 담수표면산파에서는 심한 도복현상을 보였다. 3. ㎡당수수 및 수당립수는 담수표면산파와 비슷하였으나 등숙율은 82%로 담수표면산파 77%보다 높았으며 쌀 수량은 515㎏/10a으로 담수표면산파 460/㎏ 대비 12% 증수되었다. 4. 농가 현지적응 3개지역 평균 ㎡당 입모수는 144개, 골내 입모율은 75.2%, 줄기 매몰심은 2.0㎝였고, ㎡당 수수는 373개로 기계이앙보다 11개가 많았고, 완전 미율 및 10a 당 백미 수량은 각각 95.8%, 578㎏으로 기계이앙과 비슷하였으며, 식미치는 77%로 기계이앙과 같았다. 5. 따라서 담수골표면산파시의 적정골거리 15㎝, 골깊이 8㎝로 제작된 작조기를 무논정지기에 부착하여 골형성후 파종작업을 했을 때 기존 담수표면산파보다 입모확보가 용이하고 새피해 및 도복피해 경감과 함께 안정 수량확보가 유리한 기술로 생각됨. This experiments was carried out to investigated cultivation effects of water wet furrow broadcasting seeding, a simple and cheap seeding furrow maker, which facilitates rice seeding and addresses lodging problem in water seeding rice was developed. The furrow maker with 432㎝ in length and 20㎝ in width was attached right after the rotary for furrow making. Before seed sowing , puddled soil is hardened for 4∼6 days and seeding furrow is prepared with the furrow maker and than the power duster is used to broadcast the pregerminated seeds. The water wet furrow broadcasting seeding was found to be stable in seedling stand by uniform seed sowing as well as in the reduction of seedling floating and high percentage of inner furrow seedling stand with 68∼74% by water wave movements : resulting to enhanced seedling furrow formation, wind pass, and light penetration. This method also ameliorates lodging problem by burying rice culm 1.6∼2.2㎝ deep as compared with conventional water seeding. Because of such factors, the milled rice yield was increased 1∼19% compared with conventional water seeding with 515㎏/10a.

        The developmental processes of eosinophilic granule formation were ultrastructural investigation of eosinophilic granulopoiesis in 15 cases of human fetal livers from 8 to 34 weeks of gestation. 1) Numerous vesicles, microgranules and small agranular and granular vacuoles were distributed around the distended Golgi apparatus in myeloblast and eosinophilic promyelocyte. 2) Granular matrix of vacuoles contained small granular vacuoles, serveral vesicles and mutilamellar structures. The granular substance exhibited higher electron density than that of cystic rough endoplasmic reticulum(RER) and was similar partly to that of immature eosinophilic granules. 3) Distended cystic RER was fused to produce matrix of maturing granules with granular vacuoles and immature eosinophilic granules. 4) Immature eosinophilic granule which began to be produced in eosinophilic promyelocyte, had myelin sheath-like structure and debris of vesicles and granular vacuoles and those disappeared immediately. The charicteristic crystalloid inclusions began to develop in immature eosinophilic granule of myelocyte. In summary, it is suggested that vesicles and granular vacuoles as well as RER in the myelocyte and promyelcyte are participating in the formation of immature eosinophilic granules which become mature with the appearance of charicteristic crystalloid inclusion

        인산칼륨배합세치제의 상아질지각과민완화효과

        The desensitizing toothpaste which is containing potassium phosphate, sodium fluoride, ursodesoxycholic acid and tocopherol acetate was compared with other silica-base toothpastes for the treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity in a double-blind study. Of these, one acted as negative control containing only 1,000ppm of fluoride, another acted as positive control containing 5% postassium nitrate and 1,000ppm of fluoride, and the other acted experiment contained 2% monobasicpotassium phosphate, 3% dibasicpotassium phosphate, 0.02% UDCA, 0.05% tocopherol acetate and 1,000ppm of fluoride. 96patients who have dentinal hypersensitivity were randomly allocated to use those toothpastes for 8 weeks. Sensitivity was scored according to the response to thermal stimuli, tactile, evaporative stimuli. Recordings were made at baseline,1,3,5 and 8week. The statistical comparison showed that sensitivity duration of experimental group was reduced significantly compared to negative control group and positive control group(p<0.05). The clinical findings would be consistent with the in vitro observation that the experimental toothpaste occluded open dentinal tuble more effectively and increase the hardness of teeth more highly than positive control and negative control toothpastes.

        섬유강화 고분자 복합재료 사출성형품의 섬유배향상태

        Injection molding is the most widely used process for the industrial forming of plastic articles. During an injection molding process of composites, the fiber-matrix separation and fiber orientation are caused by the flow of molten polymer/fiber mixture. As a result, the product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. Hence, it is very important to clarify the relations between separation. orientation and injection molding conditions. So far, there is no research on the measurement of fiber orientation using image processing. In this study, the effects of fiber content ratio and molding condition on the fiber orientation-angle distributions are studied experimentally. Using the image processing method, the fiber orientation distribution of welding parts in injection-molded products is assessed. And the effects of fiber content and injection mold shapes on the fiber orientation in case of fiber reinforced polymeric composites are studied experimentally.

        In the field of study on 'comminution' there appear some kinds of polarizition, i.e. macro-micro, software-hardware and practice-theory and so on. For instance, numerous papers are available on mathematical modelling or simulation of practical ball mill grinding circuits. Few discussion, however, has been made in those papers from the viewpoint of energy consumption on the basis of its quantitative measurement. On the other hand so-called 'fracture of a single particle' phenomena have been investigated exclusively from this point of view in other papers concerned. The authors, therefore, are trying to fill the gap of this type nad conducted so far some experimental work on a laboratory scale ball mill system facilitating precise measurements of torgue.
