      • 油指의 새로운 誘導體에 關한 硏究[Ⅱ] : 피마자油의 α-슬포指肪酸鹽의 合成 Synthesis of the α-Sulfo Ratty Acid of Castor Oil

        In a previous paper^1), authors assumed that castor oil with some fatty acid groups, which were synthesized with esterification in benzene on boric acid, should be responsible for the taste of the ester compound of castor oil. In the present study, the reaction of castor oil with a-sulfo fatty acids and their methyl esters produces a mixture of main product and by-products. The total conversion of the main product increases with increasing the concentration of the a-sulfo fatty acid. A possible reaction mechanism was proposed and disussed. The new type derivaties of castor oil having a-sulfo fatty acid groups were synthesized and their properties surfactant were determined.

      • 설탕에스테르의 물리적 성질에 관한 연구

        설탕에스테르를 관크로마토그래피와 박층크로마토그래피(TLC)를 사용하여 모노-, 디-, 및 트리에스테르로 단리 정제하였다. 이와 같이 정제한 모노스테아르산설탕과 모노팔미트산설탕의 CMC를 20℃∼40℃ 사이의 여러 온도에서 순수한 물과 NaCl, KCl 및 여러 알코올 용액에서 측정하였다. 이 결과로부터 모노에스테르의 heat of micellization 값을 계산하였던 바, 30℃이하에서는 양의 값을 나타내었으며, 이 값들이 무기염에 의해서는 거의 영향을 받지 않는다는 사실을 알았다. 여러 가지 알코올(C_1-C_4) 용액에서의 모노팔미트산설탕의 CMC는 알코올 농도의 증가에따라서 처음에는 증가하다가 농도가 약 0.05∼0.01 몰 퍼센트를 지나면 다시 감소한다. 이것은 설탕에스테르와 알코올이 공동으로 미셀을 형성하기 때문일 것으로 생각된다. 디에스테르는 물에 전혀 녹지 않지만 모노에스테르용액에서는 쉽게 용해된다. 그리고 이러한 용액의 표면장력 대 농도 곡선은 약 40dyne/㎝ 근처에서 불연속을 나타낸다. 이것은 낮은 농도에서 모노에스테르와 디에스테르가 불규칙한 멋대로의 표면배향을 하고 있다가 이 농도에서 보다 안정하고 치밀한 배열로 갑자기 바꾸어지기 때문이라고 생각된다. The critical micelle concentrations (CMC) of sucrose monostearate and sucrose monopalmitate are determined in pure water, in inorganic salt solutions, and in various alcohol (C_1-C_4) solutions at temperatures between 20 and 40℃. Using the results, heat of micellization is calculated. The values are positive below 30℃ and unaffected almost by the presence of inorganic salts. The CMC value is very sensitive in the presence of alcohols (C_1-C_4). The CMC increases at first as the concentration of alcohol increases, and then it decreases after showing a maximum. The maximum point lies between 0.05 through 0.1 mole per cent of alcohol, depending on the kind of alcohols. It is found that though the diester is insoluble by itself, it readily dissolves in the monoester solution. In the presence of diester, it is found that the surface tension decreases as usual way if the concentration of monoester is incrased, but it shows a sudden discontinuity at about 40 dyne/㎝.

      • Protective effects of Belamcandae Rhizoma against skin damage by ameliorating ultraviolet‐B‐induced apoptosis and collagen degradation in keratinocytes

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Ultraviolet‐B light (UV‐B) is a major cause of skin photoaging, inducing cell death and extracellular matrix collapse by generating reactive oxygen species (ROS). Belamcandae Rhizoma (BR), the rhizome of <I>Belamcanda chinensis</I> Leman, exhibits antioxidant properties, but it remains unknown whether BR extract ameliorates UV‐B‐induced skin damage. In this study, we evaluated the effects of a standardized BR extract on UV‐B‐induced apoptosis and collagen degradation in HaCaT cells. BR was extracted using four different methods. We used radical‐scavenging assays to compare the antioxidative activities of the four extracts. Cells were irradiated with UV‐B and treated with BR boiled in 70% (vol/vol) ethanol (BBE). We measured cell viability, intracellular ROS levels, the expression levels of antioxidative enzymes, and apoptosis‐related and collagen degradation‐related proteins. The irisflorentin and tectorigenin levels were measured via high‐performance liquid chromatography. BBE exhibited the best radical‐scavenging and cell protective effects of the four BR extracts. BBE inhibited intracellular ROS generation and induced the synthesis of antioxidative enzymes such as catalase and glutathione. BBE attenuated apoptosis by reducing the level of caspase‐3 and increasing the Bcl‐2/Bax ratio. BBE reduced the level of matrix metalloproteinase‐1 and increased that of type I collagen. The irisflorentin and tectorigenin contents were 0.23% and 0.015%, respectively. From these results, BBE ameliorated UV‐B‐induced apoptosis and collagen degradation by enhancing the expression of antioxidative enzymes. It may be a useful treatment for UV‐B‐induced skin damage.</P>

        고불포화 (高不飽和) 지방식이 (脂肪食餌)가 흰쥐혈청의 Vitamin E 농도와 지방성분(脂肪成分)에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to find the effect of dietary polyunsaturated fat on of vitamin levels E, total cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol in serum of Spraque-Dawley male rats. Experimental rats were fed for 4 weeks with corn oil, perilla oil, lard at a level of 10% and 20% respectively. The results obtained are as follows; 1. Body weight gains were similar to all groups and food intake was significantly lower in all experimental diet groups than control diet group, especially 20% corn oil diet group was the lowest among the experimental diet groups. 2. Vitamin E levels in serum were significantly lower in 20% corn oil and 10%, 20% perilla oil diets groups than control diet group. 3. Serum total cholesterol levels were significantly higher in 20% perilla oil diet group which was significantly lower in vitamin E level than control diet group, and serum total cholesterol levels of 10%, 20% lard diets groups were significantly higher than control diet group. 4. Serum HDL-cholesterol levels were significantly lower in 20% perilla oil diet group which was significantly lower in vitamin E level than control diet group, and serum HDL-cholesterol levels of 10%, 20% lard diets groups also were significantly lower than control diet group.

        아버지의 학력, 자녀양육에 대한 부부 일치도 지각 및 다중지능과 유아의 다중지능과의 관계 연구

        본 연구는 아버지의 배경변인인 학력과 직업, 아버지의 심리적 변인인 아버지가 지각한 자녀양육에 대한 부부일치도, 그리고 아버지의 다중지능이 유아의 다중지능 발달에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 아버지의 학력에 따라 음악 지능과 신체 운동 지능 영역을 제외한 여섯 영역의 유아의 다중지능 발달에 차이가 있었으며, 아버지의 직업에 따라서 유아의 다중지능 발달은 차이를 보이지 않았다. 또한 음악지능, 논리수학지능, 언어지능, 대인관계 지능, 개인이해 지능, 자연탐구 지능에서 자녀 교육에 대해 부모간의 의견이 일치한다고 아버지가 지각할 때. 유아의 다중지능이 통계적으로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 유아의 다중지능의 여덟 영역과 아버지의 다중지능의 여덟 영역간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 모든 영역에서 아버지의 다중지능과 유아의 다중지능 간에 매우 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. This research analyzed how young children's multiple intelligences(MI) is related to their fathers' education, perception on couple's agreement for parenting style, and multiple intelligences(MI). Subjects were 259 preschool children and their fathers in Kwangju. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. The results of the study were as follows: First, young children's multiple intelligences showed significant differences according to father's education in the six areas of multiple intelligences, which is logical-mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, spatial intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, naturalist intelligence. Second, young children's multiple intelligences showed significant differences according to fathers' perception on couple's agreement for parenting style in the following five areas: musical intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence. Third. correlation analysis between children's multiple intelligence and fathers' multiple intelligence showed that eight areas of intelligence were significantly correlated each other. In addition, young children's intelligence in each area of multiple intelligences was associated with their fathers' intelligence in that area.

        Purpose As there is to a disease of temporal bone, will recognize a tendency recent of an inspection for a diagnosis of a comparative analysis temporal bone disease to the patient who executed the Temporal bone CT which used CT equipment and the pati-ent who executed a general radiography inspection. Materials and methods Investigated the patient who executed a patient, general radiography inspection and the Temporal bone CT inspection that executed a Temporal bone CT inspection within a period like the patient who executed a general radiography inspection of mastoid general of mastoid at the same time by the inspection number of cases by diseases to the objects for three years until 2006 August from 2003 August. Also, general radiography inspector and CT thread inspector executed was Moniter-ing the 30 people of 155 people who inspected Temporal bone CT in the times like the general radiography 10 people who inspected of mastoid during patients until August from 2006 January. The Monitering is Investigated whether or not there was inconvenience of a inspector after inspection time an inspection, inspections whether or not there was image acquisition time, inconvenience of a patient. Results Showed the results compared with the patient 200 people who inspected general radiography of total Mastoid series to 32 people in 2005 years at 82 people in 2003 years during general radiography inspections of Mastoid series inspection case number decrease, and the annual increasing Temporal bone CT inspections of inspection case number that compared with the total 648 people who inspected Temporal bone CT to 233 people in 2005 at 96 people in 2003, and to increase. Also, Answered that were inconvenient, and general radiography than CT, patients and inspector too. and general radiography was over the 10 minutes but CT appeared to inspection time of the 10 minutes under and the time that it takes in an inspection is in an inconvenience matter in case of an inspection answered. Conclusion Inspection time is short, and there is not inconvenience and the CT inspection a patient or a inspector are increasing every year compare with general radiography inspections as accuracy of an inspection is high. Think that it must be improved in the trend that an CT inspection is enlarged to have a lot of regulation of insurance application in order to let you reduce an economic burden of a patient. As there are more advantages CT than general radiography in spite of these economic burdens recent and to diagnosis a disease of a temporal bone CT inspections than be used so as to be useful

        저이용 홍어 가공 부산물을 이용한 고기능성 물질의 생산기술 개발에 관한 연구(1) -홍어연골을 이용한 콘드로이틴 황산 소재 개발

        For the purpose of reuse the wasted by-products from the skate process to the health functional food or medicinal material, chondroitin sulfate was extracted from the skate cartilage with the method of hydrolysis with protease enzyme, and the contents of chondroitin sulfate and hydrolyzed protein were measured qualitatively and quantitatively. The effects of chondroitin sulfate on body weight or liver weight changes, hepatotoxicity elimination and anti-inflammatory actions were measured from in vivo test with feed-treated mice. From the hydrolytic extraction of skate cartilage with the mixture of 1% alcalase and 1% protease for 4 hours, the extraction yield of chondroitin sulfate was about 32.55%. The content and molecular weight of chondroitin sulfate was 26.63% and 2.85×105 Da., respectively and the content ratio of chondroitin sulfate to protein was measured to 1 to 2.76 with gel permeation chromatography. For the odor component, trimethylamine decreased about 30% but almost not ammonia from chondroitin sulfate with the treatment of activated carbon. From the feeding chondroitin sulfate to mice, the control effect of body and liver weights decrease was measured, anti-inflammatory action and hepatotoxicity elimination action were also measured. From these results, process operation conditions for manufacturing of chondroitin sulfate were suggested.

        리튬이차전지용 양극소재를 제조하는 다양한 공정들의 단점을 개선시키기 위하여 본 연구에서는 분무 열 합성법을 연구하였다. 분무 열 합성법은 화염내의 화학적 활성이 높은 열에너지를 이용하여 분체를 제조하는 기술이다. 본 기술로서 얻어지는 분체는 표면장력에 의해 구형의 나노입자를 얻을 수 있다. 또한, 기존의 제조공정에 비하여 공정이 간단하고 미립자 조절, 산화와 환원, 표면개짙 등이 동시에 이루어진다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 본 기술은 다른 양극소재와 음극소재, 세라믹 제조에도 폭 넓게 응용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
