        We have studied the effect of the hydrogen ion doping on the free surface of back channel etched a Si:H TFTs. The hydrogen ion doping on the back channel etched TFT reduces the off-state photo leakage current by one order of magnitude. The reduction of the photo-leakage current is due to the creation of defect states at the free surface by hydrogen ion doping. After hydrogen ion doping on the free surface, the field effect mobility change little, but the threshold voltage increases, which is due to the state creation in a-Si:H by ionized H ions. Furthermore, the off-state leakage current under frontlight illumination can be reduced by 2 orders magnitude by hydrogen ion doping on the back channel of a Si:H TFT.

      • 야생효모, Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2로부터 급성 폐손상 억제물질인 호중구 elastase 저해물질 생산 및 생산균주의 균학적 특성

        This study was performed to produce acute lung injury-preventing neutrophil elastase inhibitor from non-pathogenic wild yeast and further determine enzyme activity and physiological functionality of the potent wild yeast. Culture supernatants and cell-free extracts of one hundred twenty five non-pathogenic wild yeast strains were prepared and their neutrophil elastase inhibitory activities were measured. The neutrophil elastase inhibitory activity of the cell-free extract from Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2 showed the highest inhibitory activity of 38.4% and its elastase inhibitor was maximally produced(IC50,3.2㎎) when Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO 9-2 was cultured in pH 7.0 of malt extract medium at 20℃ for 24h. Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2 was oval shape and did not form ascospore and pseudomycelium. The HO9-2 strain grew well in YPD and YM media and was halophilic yeast which grew well in YPD medium containing 15% NaCl. Cell-free extract of the HO9-2 strain were showed high 17.2U of glucoamylase activity and anti-diabetic α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of 87.5%. 본 연구는 급성 폐손상 예방(또는 치료)의약 소재를 개발하기 위하여 비병원성 야생효모들의 elastase 저해활성을 측정하여 우수 균주를 선발하였다. 또한 선발균주의 elastase 저해제 생산 조건을 최적화 하였으며 선발균주의 미생물학적 특성 등을 조사하였다. 비병원성 야생효모인 Wickerhamomyces anomalus HO9-2의 무세포추출물이 38.4%의 호중구 elastase 저해활성을 보여 우수균주로 선발하였고 이 균을 pH 7.0 의 malt extract 배지에서 20℃로 24시간 배양하였을 때 최고의 elastase 저해활성(IC50, 3.2mg)을 보였다. 또한 이 균은 난형으로 포자와 의균사를 형성하지 않았고 YPD와 YM배지에서 생육이 양호하였고 NaCl을 15% 함유한 배지에서도 생육하는 호염성 효모이었다.

        An aeroelastic stability analysis is numerically simulated for two-degree-of-freedom transonic airfoils with some structural nonlinearities in torsional stiffness. A state-space method is used to model the characteristic values of the unsteady transonic flow. Structural nonlinearities considered in the present study are free-play, bilinear spring and friction. The stability of the aeroelastic system is determined by converging values of the angle of attack and bending displacement in time domain. The flutter behavior and vibratory amplitudes are examined for a number of flight conditions and airfoil geometry configurations.

        A study on the Byungtae Ron(病能論) of the So Moon(素問), one of the classic book of oriental medicine, was carried out analytically for the right comments. The principal ideas obtained summarized as follows; Neng(能) is similar to tae(熊) in the pronunciation and the meaning of a chinese character. Byungtae(病能) means the state of the symptoms and the pulse condition of the diseases, etc. It deals with ethological factor, mechanism of disease, the condition of an illness, method of diagnosis, rule of treatment, technique of treatment of seven diseases and taking this seven diseases as a example, mainly discuss the technique and significance of clinical observation and the pathogenesis and condition of an illness, so It named 「Byungtaeron(病能論)」 In this chapter it shows we can grasp condition of illness well only if we classify the pathogenesis and condition of an illness in details. this viewpoint provides the foundation of development in oriental diagnostics. It places emphasis on pulse feeling in this chapter, so it describes pulse condition of various kinds of diseases in details. It also presents how to compare pulse feeling like comparison between Inyoungmaek(人迎脈, arterial carotid communes, the pulsation of which is easily felt beside Adam's apple) and Ch'onkumaek(寸口脈, the radial artery on the wrist where the pulse is routinely taken for diagnosis), between right and left Ch'onkumaek(寸口脈), between Yangmyungsangdong (陽明常動) and Taeyangbudong(太陽不動), Soyangbudong(少陽不動), etc. In this chapter it explains pulse feeling occupies a high position in the diagnosis of diseases in 『Huangdi's internal Classic(黃帝內經)』 period and the technique of pulse feeling is already plentiful and minute. In this chapter it presents 「Tongbyungyich(同病異治, to apply different methods of treatment to the same kind of disease)」 theory, taking tangible syndromes as examples. this is prominent viewpoint of determination of treatment based on the differentiation of symptoms and signs and much influence development of later ages' medicine. On the ground of oriental medical theory, it may bring about different symptoms in the same disease according to stage of disease, the seasons, the regions, the constitution of patient, therefore surely adopt different technique of treatment, this differentiation of symptoms and signs is an important character in oriental medicine.

        인천 월미공원 조경설계

        This article is an abstract of the prize-winner master plan for Wolmee Park in Incheon, Korea. The main theme of the park is the revival of the Korean traditional garden style. The park provides a place for citizens to understand and experience Korean traditional garden styles by emphasizing Koreas traditional images and feelings. In addition, cultural traditions are harmonized with modern characteristics of the park. The plan includes restoring Wolmee-haenggung(a temporary palace used to be in Wolmee Island) to hold its traditional meaning as garden and plate of the Wolmee Island. Main design ideas are summarized below. First, the conceptual meaning of jeong-won(庭園, garden) is represented separately: jeong(庭) and won(園). Jeong(庭) is a man-made place and reappeared as tangible objects with traditional forms. In contrast, won(園) with the concept of wonrim(園林), the universal principle of Korean traditional garden style, which focuses on the harmony between human and nature, is symbolically represented as wolmeegugok(月尾九曲, nine beautiful landscapes along the river). Second, to deliver the meanings of the place, various historical and cultural elements of Wolmee Island are metaphorically added to the traditional garden frameworks. And third, the plan basically orients to preserve the ecologically healthy natural environment of Mt. Wolmee. The park will contribute for Incheon citizens as well as people nearby by providing healthy environment and various recreational activities.

        난소 절제 백서에서 17β-Estradiol 투여가 골조직에 미치는 영향

        This study was focused on the changes of mineral density and histopathologic features of osseous tissue when ovariectomized rats were administered with 17β-Estradiol. Forty-eight rats, 11 weeks of age, were divided into four groups, which are a normal control group, an ovariectomized control group, an experimental group 1 which was given 17β-estradiol immediately after the ovariectomy and an experimental group 2 which was given 17β-Estradiol 3 weeks after the ovariectomy. They were sacrificed at different time intervals (1, 3, 4 and 8 weeks) for histopathologic observation, histo-morphometric analysis and immunohistochemistry with fibronectin and CD34 antibody. Most rats showed the increase in bone density, which was the least in the ovariectomized control group. In histopathologic features of both the mandible and the tibia, the osteoclasts in bone marrow increased in the ovariectomized control group of more than 3 weeks. In histomorphometric analysis, the osteoclasts increased in both the mandible and the tibia in length of time. In comparison of the increase of osteoclast between four groups, it decreased as following order: the ovariectomized control group, the expermiental group 2 the experimental group 1, the normal control group. Especially the experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 at 4 weeks showed remarkable changes both in the mandible and in the tibia in comparison with the ovariectomized control group. In immunohistochemical anaylsis with fibronectin, the more week-ovariectomized control groups of both the mandible and the tibia showed weaker fibronectin expression in osteoblast and bone marrow. Among the experimental group 1 and 2, 4-week group showed the strongest expression. In immunohistochemical analysis with CD34, the mandible showed generally weak expression but 8-week experimental group 1 and 2 showed relatively moderate expression in osteoblast and bone marrow. In case of the same groups of tibia, 4-week group show the strongest expression. With all these results, it is assumed that 17β-Estradiol has more effect on the development and differentiation of osteoclasts than those of osteoblasts and contributes to the initial bone formation most efficiently by inhibiting osteoclastic action and stimulating osteoblasts.

        The effective Hamiltonian of the polaron strongly bounded to a Coulomb center is calcuiated. And it is assumed that the Frohlich radius ?? of the polaron is much less than the Bohr radius a of electron orbit. In the intermediating coupling approximation by Lee-Low-Pines, the ground energy spectrum of the system shows a hydrogen-like fine-structure energy level. This energy splitting would be resulted from the constraint of the additional Coulomb field and the definite dimensions of the phonon cloud surrounding the electron of polaron. Our fine-structure may be expected in the semiconductors in which the criterion ??/a≪1 is satisfied and the coupling constant a≤4.
