아인슈타인의 과학과 종교의 관계성에 관한 연구

아인슈타인은 상대성이론을 주창함으로써 뉴턴의 전통적 세계관을 변화시켰다. 그는 유대인이었지만 유대교를 신행하기보다는 ‘우주적 종교성’을 제안하였다. 인간으로부터 독립된 질서정연한 우주에 대한 믿음과 함께, 직관에 의한 과학적 탐색만이 그러한 우주의 법칙을 발견할 수 있다고 보았다. ‘유대인과학’의 지지자나 ‘무신론자’라는 부정적 평가도 있었지만, 그의 인격신에 대한 부정은 힌두교, 불교, 기독교의 사상가들을 자극하여 창조적인 비교와 대화의 연구를 촉진시켰다. 앞으로 스피노자를 비롯한 사상가의 영향과 차이에 대한 후속연구가 필요하다. Albert Einstein changed Newtonian traditional worldview by proposing the theory of relativity. Though he was a Jew, he didn't practice the belief and ritual of Judaism and created 'cosmic religious feeling.' He believed that scientists can find the laws of the ordered universe independent of human beings through the scientific research by intuition. Some criticized him as the supporter of 'Jewish science' of 'atheist,' but his objection to the belief of a personal God made creative religious dialogues and relations possible. In the further study, his relation to other thinkers including Spinoza should be more examined.

도시자연공원의 야간이용 활성화 방안 : 대전 보문산 공원을 대상으로

This research aims to grasp the use status and satisfaction level based on citizen consciousness in night time to improve future design. This study employs a combination literature review and field survey. In the literature review, the related materials were collected to obtain the most useful information for references, and the POE study of the Bomunsan Park was conducted. The survey instrument is a questionnaire that includes questions regarding Bomunsan Park. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS17.0 for Windows). Through the POE analysis of the usage status and variables which significantly affect the users’ degree of satisfaction with the spaces and facilities were investigated and the following problems have been found. Bomunsan Park requires extensive modification to meet the demand of citizens. Several shortcomings are hampering the development of the Park. The rest space and the nightscape seem to be the two most problematic aspects in the Park. The nightscape design should be particularly emphasized in the overall park design in the future. Usage night and space and facilities for user satisfaction analysis, the increase of bus routes and the lighting was the biggest problem. Therefore, future access to transportation means and at night design considerations will be based on the need to plan.

This study aims at reconsidering the spacial structure and suggesting guidelines for campus planning and design with spatial reference to the Campus of PaiChai university, area $208,499m^2$, Taejon. This study is mainly based on user's behavior and physical traces and questionnaire survey. User's behavior and physical traces were carefully observed by 20 students of dept. of landscape architecture at each alloted zone, 6 zones in Campus. Questionnaire survey, consisted of user attitudes, use satisfaction factors and personal items was carried out to 320 persons. As a result, the item of 'rest' shows the highest mean and the item of 'chatting' and 'meeting' follows to utilization purpose. The length of stay is generally 30minute to 1hour. The factor analysis, on the object of 32 items except 4 item, appeared 8 factors: visual elements, activity, vehicle, plants, practicality of street furniture, bench, spacial use and shade.

종교에 대한 과학적 연구가 가능한 것일까? 20세기에 접어들면서 종교학자들은 종교에 대한 보다 객관적이며 과학적인 연구가 가능하다고 주장하며 다양한 방법들을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 종교에 대한 과학적 연구를 주창한 대표학자의 유형들을 검토하고 그 다양성과 복합성을 설명할 것이다. 특히 영국의 뮐러와 네덜란드의 틸레의 주요 저서를 중심으로 그들이 전개한 과학적 연구의 특징과 한계를 분석할 것이다. Is it possible for us to study religion in a scientific way? In the late 19th century and early 20th century, pioneers of religious studies argued that they could approach religions more objectively and scientifically than previous theological scholars could. This essay will analyze the main works of Max Muller and Cornelis Tiele from the phenomenology of religion. Their methods and theories are different each other, but their goals are similar. I will point out their characteristics and limitations in the science of religion.

배재대학교 캠퍼스 조경계획의 제안

This proposal is to present a campus landscape plan for PaiChai University. The site is located in 439-6 Doma-dong, Seo-gu, Taejon City and has an area of 208,499㎡. The landscape plan covers the following: site inventory and analysis; integration of design program and site analysis; evaluation of design concept; schematic design including circulation form and spatial form; and design development including subarea design. In the design process, the author focused on the integration and interpretation of site conditions as related to the university buildings. He also collectively analyzed and considered the physical development of the outdoor spaces of Paichai University. The following are some of the major areas in the design of the outdoor spaces of Paichai University: 1) a main entrance space as a symbolic square, 2) Paichai central street, 3) a campus core as a greenish square, and 4) a 'Jajuro' plaza as Paichai 'Han' square. The outdoor spaces of Paichai university are created as a new type of campus realm with function, campus quality, original identity, symbolic meaning and images and beauty.

과학과 종교의 무신론 논쟁에 관한 연구 : 사후세계관을 중심으로

This article deals with the analysis of discourse on atheism in science and religion and shows philosophical meanings of dialogue between atheism and theism. Concerning the problem of immortality in the life after death, there are two main streams: dualism and monism. Homeric theory and Platonic theory of immortality lead us to the deep understanding of Bertrand Russell's scientific atheism. The constructive dialogue between Richard Dawkins' militant atheism and John Hick's pluralistic theism is needed. 본 논문은 과학과 종교의 갈등과 대립의 구체적 사례로서 사후세계에 대한 무신론과 유신론의 담론을 분석하여 그 철학적 의미를 드러낸 글이다. 영과 육에 대한 이원론과 일원론을 중심으로, 호메로스와 플라톤의 불멸론을 다루었고, 특히 기독교의 교리적 비합리성을 비판하는 버트런드 러셀의 무신론적 세계관을 분석하였다. 리처드 도킨스로 대표되는 과격한 무신론과 존 힉으로 대표되는 다원주의적 유신론 사이에 건설적 대화의 노력이 필요하다.

에스닉 테마를 주제로 한 유행경향 예측에 관한 연구-‘97 F/W 로스엔젤레스 시장을 중심으로-

본 연구는 Los Angels 중심의 서부지역 시장을 중심으로 에스닉 테마의 유행정보를 시장조사를 통해 예측한 연구이다. 연구의 진행은 먼저 에스닉 테마의 출현 배경을 고찰하고 전문점과 백화점 그리고 hadquarter의 현황을 조사한 수, Zip code를 통한 소비자의 라이프 스타일의 분석을 통하여 시장에 적합한 패션경향을 제시하였다. 연구의 요약은 다음과 같다. 1997년 가을.겨울 소매 상가들에서 두드러진 경향은 에스닉이다. 이는 복잡한 현대 생활에 대한 반동으로서 기본 생활의 단순성, 자연에 대한 올바른 평가로 되돌아가는 것을 상징한다. 이런 에스닉한 민속 디자인들의 전형은 자연의상, 원시예술, 동족문화와 아프리카 테마주변에서 확인된다. 이런 에스닉 패션을 요약하자면 단순성, 자연성, 편리성, 자유로 나타내진다. 한편 이런 경향의 hadquarter라 할 수 있는 Broadway와 Robinsons-May와 같은 일반 백화점에의 기준은 다양한 스타일로 다양한 고객들을 충족시켜야 하는 것이다. Broadway의 에스닉 성향의 상품은 아직 도입단계로 정상에 오르지 못한 상태이다. 이 상품의 판매를 높이려면 VMD를 통한 판매 홍보와 다양한 에스닉 성향의 상품제시, 노력이 필요하다. 이 밖에 대표적인 상가 중심지인 Beverly Center Broadway의 고객을 분석했을 때 이 상품을 살만한 고객은 25-34세와 35-44세의 나이 분포를 지닌 대부분의 전문 직종의 젊은층과 사회적 지위를 성취하고자 하는 이들이었다. 이들의 라이프 스타일은 직업 지향의 활동들, 유행에 뒤지지 않은 복장, 모든 면에서 세련된 생활을 강조한다. 이 중 특히 중요한 것이 있다면 이미지이다. 그들은 남과 구분되는 개성을 원한다. 이미지들은 이국적인 것에서부터 단순함, 순박함과 섹시함에 이르기까지 다양하다. 따라서 이상의 시장조사를 통한 소비자의 요구를 충족시킨 유행경향 제시는 패션시장에서 그 무한한 가능성을 창출하도록 할 것이다. This study forecasts the trend of ethnic theme through market survey, concentrating on Los Angeles market. First, the background of ethnic theme was examined, and the present situation of shops, department sores, and headquarter was also surveyed. After that, fashion trend suitable for market was suggested by analyzing the life style of consumers through zip code. The results of the study are as follows. The conspicuous trend of '97 F/W retail stores is ethnic. This reaction to complicated modern life, and symbolizes the desirable evaluation on the simpleness of basic life and nature. The model of ethnic design is identified in natural clothing, primitive arts, ethnic culture and African theme. In short, this ethnic fashion is expressed as simpleness, naturalism convenience and freedom. On the other hand, the standard of general department stores such as Broadway and Robinson May which are the headquarter of this trend is to satisfy various consumers with various styles. Ethnic goods from Broadway has not arrived at the top for its introducing step. To elevate sales of these goods, promotion through VMD and suggesting various ethnic goods should be done. Besides, when analyzing the consumers of Beverly center Broadway, the target of these goods are mostly professional young people in their 25-34 and 35-44. The life style of these people emphasizes sophisticated life in aspects such as job-oriented activities, and up-to-date fashion. Especially, image is very important. They want individuality different from others. These images are diversified from simpleness, naiveness to sexy character. Accordingly, suggesting fashion trend satisfying the demand of consumers through market survey will make fashion market create infinite possibilities.

중부지방의 난대성 수종 기후 적응도 분석 : 세종특별자치시 수산리 배재대학교 수목실습장을 대상으로

This study was carried out to monitor the growth of warm-temperate species that are planted in the Sejong practice field of Pai Chai university and evaluated the degree of adaptation of the species in the midlands. Trees less than two years were sampled and investigated for the analysis of the climatic characteristics of the practice field. Also, this survey identified the growth characteristics and climate adaptation of warm-temperate woody species. This general forests, unlike significance in terms of the experiment excludes the pressure of the outside within the same conditions were limited to the temporal scope only the initial growth characteristics of the short forested study period. In the future study, the continuous survival rate, investigation and analysis of the physico-chemical resistance in various aspects of soil analysis should be need to look at the trends and characteristics of the additional growth. 본 연구는 세종특별자치시 수산리 배재대학교 수목실습장에 식재한 난대성 수종의 생장량을 측정하여 중부지방의 적응정도를 파악하고자 하였다. 배재대학교 수목실습장의 기후특성 분석을 통해서 수목의 생장량과의 연관성을 파악하였다. 배재대학교 세종 수목실습장에 식재한 수목을 종별로 표본추출하여 생장량을 측정하였다. 중부내륙지방에 식재한 난대성 2년 미만의 수령에 해당하는 수종의 생장특성 및 기후적응여부를 조사하였다. 연구기간이 짧아 수목의 초기 생장특성만을 시간적 범위로 한정하였다. 수목의 적응여부를 살펴보기 위한 과정으로 생장량과 고사율만을 살펴보았다는 데서 한계점이 있어 차후 연구에서는 지속적인 예찰을 통해 추가적인 생장특성의 변화추이를 살펴보고, 토양의 이화학성 분석 등 다양한 관점에서의 조사가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
