        Nowadays, there are several design problem having discrete variables in the industrial fields. The researchers are using the optimization method, such as genetic algorithm (GA), simulated annealing (SA), design of experiment (DOE) and taguchi method (TM), to solve it's design problem. Moreover, people want to decrease the computational cost and time. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed the iterative optimization algorithm which repetitively searched a local region to find best solution in discrete searching space using TM. The optimal solution in each local region is obtained by S/N ratio for the evaluation function that consists of the objective function and penalty function. Also, we have applied our algorithm to 3-bar, 10-bar, and 25-bar truss optimization problem.

      • NiTi-형상기억합금 차동식 액츄에이터의 동특성연구

        최근 전 세계적으로 초소형 정밀 기계 기술에 관한 연구 및 개발이 활발하게 이루어지면서 형상기억합금(Shape Memory Alloy : SMA)을 이용한 초소형 액츄에이터(Micro Actuator)에 관한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 형상기억합금을 액츄에이터에 응용하기 위해서는 동적 특성의 분석이 필수적이지만 지금까지의 연구에서는 형상기억합금의 물질 및 재료적 특성은 많이 보고되고 있으나 동적 특성에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 비저항(resistivity)이 큰 NiTi합금 와이어(wire)를 이용하여 나선형 스프링(helical spring)을 제작하여 디지털 힘 측정기(Digital force gauge)와 적외선 온도센서(Infrared themometer) 그리고 레이저 변위 센서(Laser displacement sensor)를 이용하여 이 NiTi 스프링의 힘의 크기와 반응속도, 온도와 변위를 측정하여 형상기억합금의 동적 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 형상기억합금을 이용하여 차동식 액츄에이터를 제작하여 그 동적 성능을 실험하였다. In the recent years, as the research and the development of micro and precision machinery become active, the interest of micro actuators using SMA(Shape Memory Alloy) has been increased. The dynamic characteristic analysis of SMA is necessary for actuator application and many common researches report the material characteristics of SMA sufficiently. However, the research on dynamic characteristics is very deficient. In this paper, the helical spring are fabricated with NiTi SMA wire of high resistivity. The force, response speed, temperature, and displacement are measured by digital force gauge, infrared thermometer, and laser displacement sensor so that the dynamic characteristics of this SMA is analyzed. Also, bidirectional actuator was fabricated and experimented for its performance.

      • 위의 유암종과 선종의 병발 1례

        유암종은 전신에 퍼져 잇는 장크롬친화성 세포에서 기원하는데 위의 유암종은 비교적 드문 질환으로 모든 유암종의 1.9~2.2%에 해당하며 위에 발생하는 종양의 1% 미만에서 보고되고 있다. 유암종은 일반적으로 증상이 비특이적이고 면역조직화학검사에 의해서 진단되기 때문에 과거에는 드물게 발견되었으나 최근 내시경 기기 및 술기의 발전과 검사 빈도의 증가 및 면역조직화학검사의 발달로 진단율이 증가 추세에 있으며, 드물지만 유암종에서 선암과 공존하는 예들이 보고되고 있다. 저자들은 심와부 동통을 주소로 내원한 70세 남자 환자의 상부위장관내시경 검사에서 위체상부의 대만곡에서 0.4×0.4 cm 크기의 중간 함몰을 가진 Yamada 1형의 용종과 함께 전정부의 전벽에서 0.8×0.5 cm 크기의 융기된 점막 소견을 보여 조직학적으로 각각 위유암종 및 위선종임을 확진한 후 내시경적 용종 절제술로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Carcinoid tumors are arisen from enterochromaffin cells, which are scattered throughout the body. These tumors are composed of variable numbers of cells that contain endocrine granules in their cytoplasm, which can be identified by immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Gastric carcinoid tumors are relatively rare tumor, the reported incidence being 1.9~2.2% of all carcinoid tumors and less than 1% of all gastric tumors. Sometimes, composite carcinoid tumors and adenocarcinoma is reported. We experienced a case of the coincidence of carcinoid tumor and adenoma at the other site of the stomach in a 70 year old male patient. Gastrofiberscope showed 0.4×0.4 cm sized Yamada type I polyp with central depression on the greater curvature of the proximal body and 0.8×0.5 cm sized focal slightly elevated mucosa on the anterior wall of the antrum. The endoscopic biopsy specimens revealed carcinoid tumor and tubular adenoma with moderate atypism, respectively. The carcinoid tumor and adenoma were removed by endoscopic polypectomy. According to the follow-up gastrofiberoscopy after 7 month later, both lesions were nearly normal mucosa except whitish atrophic change after polypectomy.

      • 평면 구성 및 공간 분석을 위한 프로그램 개발

        This paper aims at developing a program for the composition of plan and the analysis of space. This program is able to draw plans more easily and quickly, and to seek a proper design solution by analyzing the topology of space based on Space Syntax(Hillier & Hanson, 1984). The program includes the Algorithms united some theories such as Shape Grammar(Stiny & Mitchell, 1980). Dimensionless Representation, Space Syntax and so on. Therefore we exhibit developing tools for modifying, editing and analyzing architectural plans.

      • CDMA 시스템의 시뮬레이션 프로그램 구현 및 이를 이용한 전력 제어 분석

        Recently, CDMA system has been widely used in wireless communication systems. Since all the signal shares a frequency band and is discriminated from each other by code, the reverse link power control is very important to improve the communication quality and to increase the system capacity. In this paper, a program was constructed by using Matlab to simulate and analyze the power control in CDMA systems based SIR(Signal to Interference Ratio). Through simulations by using the program, we observed some known characteristics of the power control and the capacity of a CDMA system. We also found that for a new active user, one step jump command to average received power of current active users in the cell as the first target power command in the reverse link of the new user, instead of 1 dB step size as given in IS-95(a), can greatly reduce the stabilizing time in power control.

      • Li 화합물을 첨가한 CaSO₄:Dy 열중성자 측정용 TLD 소자 개발

        Personal neutron dosimetry is quite a difficult area because a neutron is always accompanied with gamma radiation, which is required of a capability for mixed field dosimetry. CaSO₄:Dy phosphor is known to have a very high sensitivity to gamma, but the neutron capture cross section of the constituents of CaSO₄:Dy are so small that the interactions between the thermal neutron and the phosphor are rare. One method to improve the neutron interaction is by introducing an impurity ion with a large thermal neutron captures cross section into the phosphor to act as a neutron target centre such as 6Li. In neutron-gamma mixed radiation fields, if two detectors for the 6Li-7Li compounds embedded CaSO₄:Dy TL pellets are used, a 6Li-compound embedded pellet can detect the neutron and gamma radiation together, and the other pellet can only detect the gamma radiation. Recently Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KEARI) has developed a new type of CaSO₄:Dy TL materials embedded with phosphorous (KCT-300) to detect beta and gamma radiation with a very high sensitivity[1]. This paper presents the development of CaSO₄:Dy TL pellets embedded with 6Li compound for a thermal neutron measurement, and the detection method of the neutron and gamma dose in mixed fields with CaSO₄:Dy TL pellets embedded with a 6Li compound(KCT-306) and CaSO₄:Dy TL pellets embedded with a 7Li compound(KCT-307) is introduced. The net neutron sensitivity of CaSO₄:Dy TL pellets embedded with 6Li compound developed in this study is higher than that of the TLD-600 (Harshaw Co.) dosimeter which is available in the open market.

      • 고감도 CaSO_4 : Dy TL 분말의 TL 특성 및 고감도 TL 소자 제작 Dy TL powder and development of high sensitivity CaSO_4 Dy TL pellet

        CaSO_4 : Dy series TL material is widely used as a personal dosimeter because of its high sensitivity to radiation. KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has been produced CaSO_4 TL powder activated by Dy(rare earth elements) for several years and continually tried to improve its sensitivity having more than that of commercialized Teledyne CaSO_4 : Dy TL powders(USA). The TL powder is prepared by adding 0.1mol% Dy as an activator and by the acid evaporation method at first. And new step of washing this powder by distil-water is appended to separate non-crystalized powder in the initial crystal of CaSO_4 : Dy powder. CaSO_4 : Dy crystal TL powder which is produced by applying this new method has higer sensitivity than before washing step, and it has also higher sensitivity than that of Teledyne CaSO_4 : Dy TL powder. This CaSO_4 : Dy TL powder shows good TL characteristics such as dose response, energy response and fading. It is not possible to make solid detectors of only CaSO_4 : Dy TL phosphor without any binding material. Until now widely used sintered pellets. which were made from a mixture of CaSO_4 : Dy TL phosphor and Teflon. But, due to reduction in content of CaSO_4 : Dy TL phosphor in pellets(15∼20wt%) the TL sensitivity of pellets was reduced correspondingly. To variously use the CaSO_4 : Dy TL phosphor, research for preparing detectors by mixing CaSO_4 : Dy TL phosphor with different binding substances has been conductedThis paper described development of a new type of CaSO_4 : Dy pellets by using P-compounds as a bonding material(KCT-300), and compared the TL sensitivity with that of the commercialized Teledyne CaSO_4 : Dy pellets. Sensitivity of a new developed KCT-300 shows about 6 times than Teledyne ones, and can be used to measure very low radiation dose.

      • 70계열 알루미늄합금 용접부의 피로균열진전 거동과 피로수명 예측에 관한 연구

        It has been important to determine life cycle and stress range for the each welded metal under high cycle load control test conditions. In this study, fatigue crack propagation rate for 7017, 7020, 7039 and 5083 alluminum welded alloy was compared with stress intensity factor range linear elastic fracture mechanics. Compact tension specimens were used and crack growth rate da/dN and stress intensity factor range ΔK were analyzed concerning to the R value of 0.1 and 0.3. In order to find out the value of ΔK, ΔK-inceasing test method was applied by the standard fatigue testing method describes in ASTM E647-81. From the result, the stable crack propagation region of 7017, 7020, 7039 and 5083 alluminum welded alloy was applicable to the Paris equation da/dN = C(ΔK)m (C and m are material constants). Constant m decreases and constant C increases with increasing of stress ratio R. Without dependence on materials, the fatigue life and the propagation rate increase, while the gradients of crack propagation rate decrease, whith increasing stress ratio. Fatigue life was observed roughly in the order of 7020 > 5083 > 7017 > 7039, independently on crack propagation direction and stress ratio. The fatigue life is longer when the crack propagation direction of specimen and welded bead are parallel to each other than transverse. The crack propagation rate and the gradient of it are larger in the case of parallel specimen than transverse. The minimum crack length of fatigue life can be estimated through the knowledge of maximum equivalent crack length obtained by using nondestructive test.

      • 마이크로프로세서를 使用한 敎育用 PWM인버터 制御시스템에 關한 硏究

        본 연구는 마이크로프로세서를 使用한 敎育用 PWM 인버터 制御시스템으로 全體 시스템을 각기 모듈(module)로 構成하여 硏究 및 敎育裝備로 使用할 수 있도록 硏究 製作한 것이다. 負荷로서는 籠型誘導電動機을 使用하고, 負荷의 인버터의 可變速 및 驅動特性, 인버터 特性을 調査 檢討하였다. 本 制御 시스템은 三相 콘버터, 三相 인버터, 콘버터 및 인버터 制御用 마이크로 프로세서,過電流, 過電壓保護回路, 速度檢出裝置 및 마이크로프로세서 周邊裝置로 구성하였으며, 최종적으로 마이크로프로세서를 사용하여 三相 正弦波 PWM신호를 발생하여 인버터를 制御하도록 하였다. 이때 마이크로프로세서를(CPU-2) 는 디지탈적으로 正弦波 PWM信號를 發生하면서 制御情報에 따라 인버터의 動作이 항상 一定 토오크 特性을 갖도록 V/f의 比를 一定히 維持하는 알고리즘을 處理한다. 마이크로프로세서에 의한 正弦波 PWM信號發生은 PWM패턴을 순람표(Look-up table)로 작성하고, 이 情報를 바탕으로 인버터제어용 마이크로프로세서 (CPU-2)가 소프트 웨어적으로 PWM신호를 발생하도록 하는 알고리즘으로 處理하였다. 콘버터용 마이크로프로세서(CPU-1)는 또 다른 制御순람표로 부터 게이트 펄스制御 패턴을 마련하고 出力電壓이 制御命令에 따라 항상 一定히 유지하도록 하는 알고리즘으로 처리하였다. 上記와 같은 制御機構와 알고리즘에 따라 교육용 PWM 인버터 制御 시스템을 開發 實現하였으며, 이로 인하여 産業界 및 學校에서 보편적인 敎育裝備로 활용할 수 있도록 하여 最近 誘導電動機의 제어장치로 각광을 받고 있는 電力用 트랜지스터 인버터(Power transistor inverter)의 PWM制御理論과 特性을 理解, 運用, 設計, 維持에 關한 기술적 내용을 습득할 수 있다고 본다. 또한 産業電子분야의 制御理論을 硏究檢討할 수 있고 産業機器裝置로 投入하므로서 실질적으로 精度 높은 制御를 할 수 있다는 等의 많은 利點을 얻을 수 있다. This Paper Persents a Microprocessor-Based PWM inverter Control System for education and investigates the drive performance of squirrel of squirrel 3-phase induction motor, using digital sine-wave PWM inverter System. The educational PWM inverter system consists of modules, diode or thyristor (SCR) Converter, Power Transistor or Power Field Effect Transistor inverter, over-current and over-voltage limit devices, input/output interfacing device, A/D converter device, microprocessor-1, microprocessor-2 unit, 3-phase induction motor and others peripherial devices and so on. Particularly the developed inverter is intended an instrument for doing experimental work on motors in the school and industrial field. The output waveform of inverter results from a pulse-width modulation process, which is carry out entirely software in order to adapt the output parameter in a very flexible way. Therefor, the-pulse-width modulation is calculated and controlled by a microprocessor. Microprocessor (Cpu-1), one of above modules, is used to generated sinusoidal PWM signal from look-up table and to control algorithem for inverter. Microprocess (Cpu-2) is used to trigger the gate control of thyristor of converter for variable voltage control according to speed and torque of induction motor and input/output control data. According to experimental object, Diode Converter uncontrolling by microprocessor have been used as the DC-power supply to inverter. Especially, microprocessor gives the 3-phase induction motor a constant control signal of the voltage to frequency ratio (v/f) in order to purpose by software of efficiency advances, waveform improvement and Constant torque characteristics. For Device protecting the inverter and inverter control system from any damage by extraordinary, and over-voltage is presented. The microprocessor-based sinusoidal PWM inverter control system offers many advantages such as wide-range and accurated speed control, improvement of efficiency and waveforms, v/f ratio control on induction motor in the side of techniques. Futhermore, the system make to understand the theoretical control characteristics, operation, design, maintenance about modern induction motor control system to student in the side of education.
