        초등교사의 열정에 대한 인식: 의미연결망 분석의 활용

        본 연구에서는 초등교사가 가지고 있는 열정에 대한 인식구조를 파악하기 위해 현직 초등교사 131명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다, 연구에서는 열정, 열정의 장단점, 교사열정에 대한 인식구조를 알아보기 위해 의미연결망 분석을 활용하여 근접 중심성, 연결중심성, 매개중심성, 아이겐벡터 중심성을 위주로 살펴보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 열정에서는 ‘힘’,‘강렬’과 같은 높은 강도나 에너지를 나타내는 단어들이 중요한 역할을 하였으며 커뮤니티 분석 결과 열정의 행동, 정서, 동기 특성에 대한 주제가 분류되었다. 둘째, 열정의 장점에서는 ‘삶’,‘원동력’,‘에너지’등이, 열정의 단점에서는 ‘타인’,‘피로’,‘살피지 못함’등이 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 보아 기존 이론에 나타난 열정의 특성을 설명하고 있었다. 셋째, 교사열정에서는 ‘학생’,‘수업’과 같은 교수활동의 실천을 나타내는 단어들이 중요한 역할을 하였으며 커뮤니티 분석 결과 교육활동 전반, 학생과 수업, 전문성 개발에 대한 주제가 분류되었다. The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of passion perceived by elementary school teachers. In order to understand the structure of perception of passion, we surveyed 131 in-service elementary school teachers. Responses to passion, the positive and negative role of passion, and teacher passion were analyzed using a semantic network analysis. We focused on closeness centrality, degree centrality, betweenness centrality and eigenvector centrality. Results showed that first, in passion, words indicating high strength and energy such as‘power’and‘intensity’played an important role in the structure of perception. Themes on behavioral, emotional, and motivational characteristics of passion were classified as sub-factors of passion as a result of community analysis. Secondly,‘life’,‘motivation’, and‘energy’appeared in key-word analysis in the positive role of passion while‘others’,‘fatigue’, and‘not caring for’appeared in the negative role of passion, reflecting the theory on the dualistic model of harmonious and obsessive passion. Third, in teacher passion, words indicating teaching activities and their practices such as‘student’and‘instruction’played an important role in the structure of perception. Themes related to educational activities in general, students and instruction, and professional development were classified as sub-factors of teacher passion.

        교육무용 활성화를 위한 방향모색

        Under the current dance educational system, it is difficult to expect a dance from to emerge which would satisfy the educational needs of the future society in its seeking for creativity. In order to establish the necessary position for a dance education fromat which it aimed at the 2000's, current training courses, dance instructors, associated educational system and facilities have been analyzed, and the following conciusions derived. Dance, with respect to training course, must be an independently taught and marked subject in primary, middle and high schools and, to improve the quality of dance instruction dance instructors must be properly qualified and certified, and through the appontment of teachers in charge of dance to positions as dance choreographers, the entire system surrounding and driving dance must improve. In addition, school dance facilities must be expanded by providing more dance practice and performance rooms and y installing such facilities as T.V and VTR equipment. Only when such conditions are satisfied, future dance education be expected to receive due recognition for its importance within the realm of true higher education.

        이사도라 던컨의 무용사상과 그 현대적 의의

        As the 20th century sets in, beauty of dance was becoming more formalized and excessively specialized. Attempts to get not of dissatisfaction with this tendency brought about the birth of modern dance which tried to express the stream of movements by using all parts of body, fully free from forms techniques, music, shoes and dresses. Thanks to its unique characteristic of making dance part of a human life for children, adults, laymen and professional dancers, modern dance has had immense effects on the field of dance as an education-purposed dance. The root of the so-called modern dance must be found in the history of American modern dance, and the origin of modern dance must be attributed to Isadora Duncan's ideology on dance. To understand Duncan's ideology on dance, this study tried to investigate her true character based on her autobiography entitled "MY LIFE". In addition, this study tried to explore the origin of her dance and its meaning by understanding Duncan herself and her ideology In order to illuminate her marvelous traces and brilliant lessons for today's dance development, this study drew the following conclusion from its findings about her life and ideology. Duncan suggested possibility of dance to develop into an independent art free from music, literature, or fine art by discovering the intrinsic meaning of physical movements. She also expanded the scape of expression abilities of dance by discovering the world of mind. Since Duncan's dance is characterized as expression of human emotions, she should be seen as the pioneer of our today's 'modern dance'. In addition, she was not only the founder of modern dance having systematic techniques but also a great revolutionary who awoke the then dance world by introducing a new choreography. From the perspective of dance history, Duncan's ideology on dance provided the basis to construct the underlying principle of 'modern dance'. Based on this conclusion, this study made the following suggestions, first, under the lifetime education philosophy, dance education should be restructured, escaping from the current technique-based education for fostering professional dancers, to introduce a new concept that dance is part of routine human life, second, since Duncan's spirit of dance based on soul expression through natural movements, not on techniques, casts a great meaning to modern dance education, the mission of modern dancers, choreographers, and educators is to inherit Duncan's spirit by keeping and developing a living dance.

      • 갑상선기능저하증 이환견에 대한 치료 증례

        A 10-year-old, male, poodle dog was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University because of continuous cough and cardiomegaly. Weight gain, lethargy, unwillingness to exercise and decreased activity was revealed on history. Obesty and alopecia was also observed on physical examination. Hypercholesterolemia and increased ALP was revealed on blood exam. So, evaluation of thyroid gland function was performed and cTSH concentration was increased. tT4 and fT4 concentrations was decreased. Results of a history, physical examination, blood exam, and thyroid gland fuction test support a diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Initial therapy with sodium levothyroxine was indicated. On 32 days after treatment of hypothyroidism, clinical signs was relieved and cTSH concentration was decreased, tT4 and fT4 concenctrations was increased.

        Platinum sensitive 재발성 난소암에서 Carboplatin/Paclitaxel의 효과

        목적 : 재발성 난소암에서 platinum 감수성을 기준으로 2차 항암요법으로 사용한 Carboplatin과 Paclitaxel의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 본 연구를 진행하였다. 연구방법 : 1998년 1월 1일부터 2003년 8월 31일까지 만 5년 8개월 간 아주대학교병원 산부인과에 재발성 난소암으로 입원한 환자 중에서 최초 수술로 난소암을 확진한 후 Cisplatin 또는 Carboplatin 등 platinum 제재가 포함된 항암치료를 받은 후 6개월 이후에 재발한 환자 29명을 대상으로 Carboplatin은 5 AUC를 그리고 Paclitaxel은 175 mg/m^(2)를 투여하였으며, 최소 3회에서 최고 16회까지 투여하였다. 치료효과의 판정은 CT, MRI, Ultrasonography등 영상진단상 암종괴의 크기가 완전히 소실되었을 경우를 완전반응(complete response)으로, 50%이상 감소되었을 경우를 부분반응(partial response)으로, 50% 미만으로 감소되었거나 20% 미만 증가하였을 경우를 불변(stable disease)으로, 그리고 20% 이상 증가되었을 경우를 진행(progressive disease)로 정의하였다. 결과 : 대상 환자에서 완전반응은 6명(21%), 부분반응은 11명(38%), 그리고 불변은 5명(17%)로 전체 반응율 (overall response rate)은 59% 그리고 임상적 유용성(clinical benefit=CR+PR+SD)은 76%이었다. 결론 : 재발성 난소암환자에서 기왕에 사용한 Platinum 제재에 민감한 환자에서는 Carboplatin과 Paclitaxel의 병행 투여가 효과적이었다. Objective : To ascertain the effect of Carboplatin and Paclitaxel combination as a second line regimen for recurrent ovarian carcinoma based on platinum sensitivity. Methods : From January 1st, 1998 through to August 31st, 2003, 29 patients were retrospectively reviewed who had previously underwent primary cytoreductive surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy with Cisplatin or Carboplatin for ovarian carcinoma, and who had later recurred during follow up. All 29 patients had recurred at least 6 months after therapy, and thereafter received second line chemotherapy consisting of Carboplatin (5 AUC) and Paclitaxel (175 mg/㎡) for a minimum of least 3 cycles and a maximum of 16 cycles. Treatment efficacy was assessed by imaging studies including Computerized tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Ultrasonography. Complete response was determined as complete disappearance of tumor, partial response at least than 50% reduction in tumor volume, stable disease as less than 50% reduction or less than 20% increase in tumor volume, and progressive disease as more than 20% increase. Results : There was complete response in 6 (21%) patients, partial response in 11 (38%), stable disease in 5 (17%), showing an overall response rate of 59%. The clinical benefit (CR+PR+SD) was 76%. Conclusion : The combination of Carboplatin and Paclitaxel administration seems to be an effective mode of second line therapy in patients with recurrent ovarian carcinoma who had been sensitive to prior platinum based chemotherapy.

        모멘트 변화에 따른 브라켓과 교정용 선재 사이의 마찰력 변화

        본 연구의 목적은 모멘트 변화에 따른 건조 환경과 타액 환경에서의 스테인리스강 브라켓과 여러 종류의 교정용 선재 사이의 마찰력을 비교하는 것이었다. 실험에는 0.022" × 0.028" 스테인리스강 브라켓과 0.019" × 0.025" 스테인리스강, 베타-티타늄, 니켈-티타늄 선재가 사용되었다. 활주 이동될 브라켓에는 0.9 mm 직경의 스테인리스강 선재로 제작된 길이 10 mm의 레버를 부착하였으며 레버에 100 g, 200 g의 추를 부착함으로써 브라켓에 각각 1000 g·mm (100 g × 10 mm), 2000 g·mm (200 g × 10 mm)의 모멘트를 가하고 만능시험기를 이용하여 마찰력을 측정하였다. 모든 조건에서 스테인리스강 선재가 가장 작은 마찰력을 보였으며 베타-티타늄과 니켈-티타늄 선재 사이에서는 2000 g·mm 모멘트의 인공타액 하의 조건에서를 제외하고는 마찰력의 유의한 차이가 없었다. 모든 선재에서 모멘트가 1000 g·mm인 때보다 2000 g·mm일 때 마찰력이 더 컸다. 건조 환경과 타액 환경의 비교에 있어서 1000 g·mm의 모멘트 하에서 인공타액에 의해 스테인리스강 선재의 마찰력은 증가하였으나 베타-티타늄과 니켈-티타늄의 마찰력은 증가하지 않았으며, 2000 g·mm의 모멘트 하에서 인공타액에 의해 모든 종류의 선재에서 마찰력이 증가하였다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare changes in frictional resistance between the bracket and wire under dry and wet conditions according to a change in moment. Methods: A stainless steel bracket of 0.022" × 0.028" slot, and 0.019" × 0.025" stainless steel, beta-titanium, and nickel-titanium wires were used. A 10 mm length lever was attached to the test (sliding) brackets to generate a moment. The experimental model was designed to allow tipping until contacts were established between the wire and the mesiodistal edges of the bracket slot. The moment was generated by suspending a 100 g or 200 g weight on the end of the lever. The moments applied were 1000 g·mm (100 g × 10 mm) and 2000 g·mm (200 g × 10 mm). The test brackets were ligated with elastomeric ligature for a constant ligation force and the fixed brackets were ligated with stainless steel ligature. Brackets were moved along the wire by means of an universal testing machine, and maximum frictional resistances were recorded. Results: Stainless steel wire showed least frictional resistance and there was no significant difference between beta-titanium and nickel-titanium except at 2000 g·mm moment in wet conditions. Frictional resistance of all wires increased as the moment increased from 1000 g·mm to 2000 g·mm. Under wet conditions, the frictional resistance of stainless steel wires increased in both 1000 g·mm and 2000 g·mm moment conditions, but frictional resistance of nickel-titanium and beta-titanium increased only in 2000 g·mm conditions. Conclusion: These results indicated that various conditions influence on frictional resistance. Therefore, laboratory studies of frictional resistance should simulate clinical situation.

        홍삼류의 섭취가 비만과 혈중 지질의 상호관계에 미치는 영향

        비만은 동맥경화의 위험인자로서 혈중에 triglyceride의 농도를 종가시키고, 상대적으로 HDL-Cholesterol의 농도를 감소시킴과 동시에 수축기 혈압을 상승시킨다. 본 연구에서 홍삼제품류를 4년 또는 5년 동안 복용해 온 건강한 사람 (ginseng군)과 홍삼제품을 복용하지 않은 건강한 사람 (control군)을 대상으로 하여 신체 계측치로부터 비만지수를 구하고 이것과 혈중의 triglyceride (TG)농도, TG/HDL-Cholesterol ratio 및 수축기 혈압과의 상호관계를 연구한 바, ginseng군에서는 대조군에 비해 혈중의 TG 농도가 일정하게 유지되었고, TG/HDL-Cholesterol ratio 및 수축기 혈압도 일정하게 유지되었다. 이러한 현상은 ginseng군에서 기호품으로 alcohol을 섭취하거나, 흡연을 한 경우에도 상관없이 일정하게 유지 되었다. 이 결과는 홍삼제품류를 장기 복용하면 비만의 저하 및 고혈압 또는 동맥경화의 위험인자가 억제될 수 있고, 결론적으로 비만, 고혈압 및 동맥경화를 예방할 수 있을 것으로 추정한다. Obesity is the risk fcactor of atherosclerosis and not only increases triglyceride concentration in blood but also decreases relatively the ratio of TG to HDL-Cholesterol in blood. In case of obesity, systolic blood pressure is also increased in responding the increase of TG in blood. Index of obesity in red ginseng-taking group (ginseng group) was lower as compared with non-red ginseng-taking group (control group). The TG concentration, the ratio of triglyceride to HDL-cholesterol in blood and systolic blood pressure were decreased in the subjects of ginseng group compared with that in control group. It is inferred that long-term intake of ginseng products may help to prevent the risk of atherosclerosis and obesity.

      • KS H ISO 1242 표준의 평가 : 라반딘 정유의 산값 측정

        The acid value (AV) as well as the ester value of essential oil is an important index to evaluate quality of essential oil. The official standard analytical method of KS H ISO 1242 dealing with “Essential oils - Determination of acid value” was assessed experimentally using two lavandin essential oils obtained in France as an example. One French lavandin oil sample showed the results of AV= 0.9 by both indicator method and potentiometry. Another sample showed AV = 1.9 by indicator method and AV = 1.6 by potentiometry. Latter lavandin oil sample exhibited significantly higher acid value than maximum value of 1 described in the standard. This result suggests that latter lavandin oil was contaminated, because this oil was contained in an orange juice bottle. Results of this study proved that KS H ISO 1242 could be used as a suitable scientific standard for the determination of acid value of essential oils.

      • 足三里의 電鍼刺戟이 흰쥐의 中樞神經系에서 Interleukin-6의 活性에 미치는 影響 - 求心性 體感覺 情報傳達을 中心으로- : 求心性 體感覺 情保傳達을 중심으로

        Objectives : Acupuncture is expected to have somewhat like the efficacy parallel increasing activity of immune system in Western modern medicine. There, already, are many animal researches on activating effect of acupuncture for the immune system in peripheral organs. So, we carried out this experiment to see whether acupuncture has controlling effect on interleukin-6(IL-6) activity in rat's brain. Methods and Results : We had topical application of IL-6(1U-1pg, 10㎕) on brain of rat. It reduced afferent sensory transmission to the primary somatosensory(SI) cortex from periphery. Whereas, electrical stimulation(ES, 2Hz, 1.5V, 15min) of ST36(足三里) with application of IL-6 prominently activated afferent sensory transmission. ES of non-acupoint(proximal tail) with IL-6 showed suppression of afferent transmission. ES of ST36 without IL-6 application also exerted facilitation of afferent transmission to the SI cortex. Conclusions : Electoacupuncture(EA) on ST36 has noticeable influences on modulating activation of IL-6 in central nervous system, which do major role in immune system.

        Inhibitory Effect of Clavicepitaceae on Serotonin Release out of Human Platelets and Human Platelet Aggregation

        We have investigated the effects of hypha-water extracts (HWE), fruit body-water extracts (FWE) and cordycepin from Cordyceps militaris on serotonin release out of human platelets and human platelet aggregation. HWE and FWE inhibited the release of [^(3)H]-serotonin from human platelet stimulated by thrombin (2 U/ml) or collagen (20 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, cordycepin, a major component of Cordyceps militaris, inhibited the human platelet aggregation induced by collagen (10 ㎍/ml) in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that cordycepin containing in HWE and FWE may inhibit the serotonin release by suppressing the collagen-induced human platelet aggregation. Accordingly, our data demonstrate that HWE and FWE containing much cordycepin might have antithrombotic and antimigrainous functions.
