      • DDE-based PI Controller and its Application to Gasifier Temperature Control

        Ya-li Xue,Dong-hai Li,Jing-gong Liu 제어로봇시스템학회 2010 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2010 No.10

Based on desired dynamic equation (DDE), a kind of PI controller tuning method is discussed in this paper. Using Nyquist stability criterion, the stable region of controller tunable parameter is calculated and compared with traditional PI controller, and then the necessity of introducing a scaling factor L is explained for better control performance. The DDE-based PI tuning method is applied to a gasifier temperature control. The simulation results show its feasibility with lower tuning efforts and better performance.

Bioconversion of conjugated linoleic acid by Lactobacillus plantarum CGMCC8198 supplemented with Acer truncatum bunge seeds oil

        Dong-Ju Chen,Li-Hua Yan,Qian Li,Cai-jiao Zhang,Chuan-Ling Si,Zhong-Yuan Li,Ya-Jian Song,Hao Zhou,Tong-Cun Zhang,Xuegang Luo 한국식품과학회 2017 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.26 No.6

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers, c9, t11- CLA and t10, c12-CLA, have been proved to exhibit excellent biomedical properties for potential use in anticancer applications and in reducing obesity. Acer truncatum Bunge (ATB), which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, including oleic acid, linoleic acid, and nervonic acid, is a new resource for edible oil. In the present study, we developed a new method for producing two CLA isomers from ATB-seed oil by fermentation using Lactobacillus plantarum CGMCC8198 (LP8198), a novel probiotics strain. Polymerase chain reaction results showed that there was a conserved linoleate isomerase (LIase) gene in LP8198, and its transcription could be induced by ATBseed oil. Analyses by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry showed that the concentration of c9, t11-CLA and t10, c12-CLA in ATB-seed oil could be increased by about 9- and 2.25-fold, respectively, after being fermented by LP8198.

      • Hyperthermia Promotes Apoptosis and Suppresses Invasion in C6 Rat Glioma Cells

        Wang, Dong-Chun,Zhang, Yan,Chen, Hai-Yan,Li, Xiao-Li,Qin, Li-Juan,Li, Ya-Juan,Zhang, Hong-Yi,Wang, Shuo Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.7

Gliomas are a group of heterogeneous primary central nervous system tumors. Hyperthermia has proven to be a potential therapeutic tool for cancers in the clinic. However, the molecular mechanisms of hyperthermia remain unclear. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of hyperthermia on the invasiveness in C6 glioma cells and related molecular pathways. Here our data show hyperthermia stimulated the release of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-${\alpha}$) and decreased C6 glioma cell migration and invasive capability at 30, 60, 120 and 180 min; with increased spontaneous apoptosis in C6 glioma cells at 120 min. We also found mitogen-activated protein kinase (P38 MAPK) protein expression to be increased and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-${\kappa}B$) protein expression decreased. Based on the results, we conclude that hyperthermia alone reduced invasion of C6 glioma cells through stimulating TNF-${\alpha}$ signaling to activate apoptosis, enhancing P38 MAPK expression and inhibiting the NF-${\kappa}B$ pathway, a first report in C6 rat glioma cells.

Pose Measuring and Aligning of a Micro Glass Tube and a Hole on the Micro Sphere

Fu-Dong Li,De Xu,Zheng-Tao Zhang,Ya-Li Shi,Fei Shen 한국정밀공학회 2014 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.

To ensure high uniformity of the inner space of the hollow sphere after assembly, the glass tube must be inserted into the hole on thesphere towards the center of the sphere. This paper deals with the pose measuring of the hole on the sphere and the glass tube andpose aligning of the two objects. The sphere is 500 mm in diameter with a 20 mm hole on it, and the glass tube is 17 mm in diameter. Novel pose measuring method for the hole on the sphere and the glass tube is developed, using two microscopic cameras, each oneacquires a projection vector of the object to be measured. A plane containing the optical axis of the microscopic camera and the posevector of the object is determined, with the microscopic camera calibrated in advance. Pose vector of the object to be measured canbe calculated by the intersection of the two planes acquired by the two microscopic cameras. Error analysis of the pose measuringmethod is conducted and experimental results were consistent with analytical results. Less than 0.7o pose aligning error is achievedusing the proposed pose measuring method and pose aligning method.

      • Preoperative Prealbumin Level as an Independent Predictor of Long-Term Prognosis after Curative Liver Resection of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (a Multicenter Study of 1,483 Patients)

        ( Ju-dong Li ),( Xin-fei Xu ),( Jiong-jie Yu ),( Jia-he Wang ),( Li- Yang Sun ),( Wen-tao Yan ),( Bing Quan ),( Jian-hong Zhong ),( Yi-sheng Huang ),( Ya-hao Zhou ),( Ting-hao Chen ),( Hong Wang ),( W 대한간학회 2018 춘·추계 학술대회 (KASL) Vol.2018 No.1

Aims: Serum prealbumin is more sensitive to profile nutritional status and liver function than albumin, which could hardly be affected by infusion supplement. This study aims: to identify the relationship between preoperative prealbumin level and the long-term prognosis after curative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods: Patients undergone HCC curative resection between 2001 and 2014 at six institutions in China were enrolled. By using 170 mg/dl as cut-off value of serum prealbumin level, these patients were divided into the low and normal preoperative prealbumin groups. The overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) were analyzed and compared. Univariable and multivariable Cox-regression analyses were performed to identify predictive factors of OS and RFS. Results: Among 1,483 patients, 437 (29.5%) had a low prealbumin level within a week before surgery. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year OS and RFS rates of patients in the low prealbumin group were 83.8, 57.0, and 31.1%, and 67.0, 39.8, and19.9%, respectively, which was significantly poorer than those in the normal group (93.0, 75.5, and 42.6%, and 77.0, 56.4, and 28.4%, both P<0.001). Multivariable analyses revealed that preoperative prealbumin level, but not albumin level, was an independent predictor of OS (HR, 1.789; 95% CI: 1.544 -2.072, P<0.001) and RFS (HR, 1.420; 95% CI: 232-1.636, P<0.001). Conclusions: Preoperative prealbumin level is useful for predicting long-term prognosis in patients undergoing liver resection for HCC. Prealbumin may be suitable to displace albumin, yielding to an updated Child-Pugh grade for accessing liver function.

      • Matrine Reduces Proliferation of Human Lung Cancer Cells by Inducing Apoptosis and Changing miRNA Expression Profiles

        Liu, Yong-Qi,Li, Yi,Qin, Jie,Wang, Qian,She, Ya-Li,Luo, Ya-Li,He, Jian-Xin,Li, Jing-Ya,Xie, Xiao-Dong Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.5

Matrine, a main active component extracted from dry roots of Sophora flavecens, has been reported to exert antitumor effects on A549 human non-small lung cancer cells, but its mechanisms of action remain unclear. To determine effects of matrine on proliferation of A549 cells and assess possible mechanisms, MTT assays were employed to detect cytotoxicity, along with o flow cytometric analysis of DNA content of nuclei of cells following staining with propidium iodide to analyze cell cycle distribution. Western blotting was performed to determined expression levels of Bax, Bcl-2, VEGF and HDAC1, while a microarray was used to assessed changes of miRNA profiles. In the MTT assay, matrine suppressed growth of human lung cancer cell A549 in a dose- and timedependent manner at doses of 0.25-2.5 mg/ml for 24h, 48h or 72h. Matrine induced cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase and decreased the G2/M phase, while down-regulating the expression of Bcl2 protein, leading to a reduction in the Bcl-2/Bax ratio. In addition, matrine down regulated the expression level of VEGF and HDAC1 of A549 cells. Microarray analysis demonstrated that matrine altered the expression level of miRNAs compared with untreated control A549 cells. In conclusion, matrine could inhibit proliferation of A549 cells, providing useful information for understanding anticancer mechanisms.

      • A Fault Diagnosis of ZPW-2000A Tuning Area based on the WNN

        Dong Yu,Li Ya-lan,Nan Jie-long 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.3

With the rapid development of china railway, ZPW-2000A track circuit has been widely used. Tuning area, which is an important part of the ZPW-2000A track circuit, is not only the relationship between the signal transmission quality, and determine the effect of electrical insulation between adjacent sections. Therefore, the study of fault diagnosis aspects for tuning area is urgent and significant. In this paper, using the theory of transmission line a model of track circuit is built, the comparison of the actual data and experimental data of the track surface voltage envelope curve shows the correctness of this model. Owning to the good time-frequency characteristics of wavelet and the nonlinear mapping features of neural network, a fault diagnosis of ZPW-2000A tuning area based on the wavelet neural network(WNN) is proposed. Combined with the practical failure situation of railway site, the fault diagnosis method in this paper can accurately identify failure modes of tuning area.

Lipase Immobilization on Magnetic Microspheres via Spacer Arms: Effect of Steric Hindrance on the Activity

        Dong-Hao Zhang,Ya-Qiong Li,Li-Juan Peng,Na Chen 한국생물공학회 2014 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.19 No.5

Poly(styrene-acrylic acid) magnetic microsphereswith an average diameter of 2 μm were successfullyprepared and used as carriers to immobilize lipase. Lipaseimmobilized on microspheres with no spacer arm exhibitedlow activities, which were attributed to steric hindranceon the lipase conformation. To avoid steric effects, ethylenediamine and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) 400/800/4000 were utilized as spacer arms to bind the lipase tothe microspheres. The immobilized lipase activities wereimproved using PEG 800/4000 as a spacer arm. Furthermore, the influence of enzyme loading on lipase activity wasinvestigated, and the results indicated that enzymeoverloading could exert steric effect on lipase activity. Thedegree of PEG modification was demonstrated to affectlipase activity because excess PEG on the surface ofmicrospheres could interact with lipase due to its mobility, consequently reducing lipase activity.

Identification and tissue distribution of carboxylesterase (CXE) genes in Athetis lepigone (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) by RNA-seq

        Ya-Nan Zhang,Zhao-Qun Li,Xiu-Yun Zhu,Jia-Li Qian,Zhi-Ping Dong,Lu Xue,Peng He 한국응용곤충학회 2017 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.20 No.4

Some of the metabolic enzyme carboxylesterases (CXEs) belong to the odorant-degrading enzymes (ODEs) family in insect species, and these play a key role in the degradation of acetate sex pheromones and host plant volatiles. Athetis lepigone is one of the most important agricultural insect pests in the world, can damage> 30 species of host plants, and has caused serious declines in the yield of summer corn in North China since 2011. According to our previous studies, the sex pheromone component of the pest is a binary blend of Z7–12:OAc and Z9–14:OAc at a ratio of 3:7. However, there are no reports regarding the degradation mechanism for these two sex pheromones. Herein, we firstly identified 20 candidate CXE genes in A. lepigone using our previous adult antennal RNA-seq data. Then, we constructed a phylogenetic tree and further conducted tissue distribution analyses to determine the possible functions of these genes. Our results showed that some AlepCXEs displayed adult antennae- predominant, male antennae-biased, or leg/wing-biased expression, indicating these AlepCXEs may have distinct physiological functions and play distinct roles in the degradation of sex pheromones, host plant volatiles, and/or other xenobiotics. These findings will help us to elucidate the exact functions of these genes in the future, and also provide possible target genes for the prevention and control of A. lepigone.
