      • Stereo Video Transmission Distortion Derived Algorithm Based On Data Partitioning In H.264/AVC

Xiaodong Wang,Jiao Ke,Hanzhang Wang,Lianjun Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.8

H.264/AVC coding standard slices the encoded Data using the Data Partitioning (DP) based on syntax priority to improve the error resistance for H.264 bit stream. According to this feature, considering the temporal and spatial correlation in stereoscopic video, network performance and terminal error concealment technology. A derived algorithm for determining the transmission distortion based on different DP parts in a Group-of-Pictures (GoP) is proposed. The algorithm takes both the distortion introduced by error diffusion and error concealment into account, which can be estimated by the stereo video quality at encode side under the condition of the specific network. Experimental results show that the algorithm used to calculate the distortion basically coincided with simulation results, and the algorithm can be applied to different sequences with various movement characteristics.

Fixed‑time non‑singular terminal sliding mode control for PMSM drive systems

        Huixiang Liu,Keqi Mei,Lu Liu,Yafei Chang,Shihong Ding,Hanzhang Zhang,Jun Wang 전력전자학회 2024 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.24 No.2

To further improve the response speed and anti-interference capability of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), many advanced control algorithms have been developed. Among the various advanced controls, the fixed-time terminal sliding mode control is one of the effective methods. However, there are still some problems, e.g., too many parameters imposed on the control design in the existing results. In this paper, a fixed-time non-singular terminal sliding mode control (FTNTSMC) method is proposed for the speed loop of a PMSM drive system. First, to improve the closed-loop performance of the PMSM drive system, the relationship between the reference q-axis current and the speed of the PMSM is described in a second-order model. Next, a sliding mode surface with variable exponential coefficients is selected, and the expression of the controller is given. Then, the stability of the PMSM drive system is demonstrated by using Lyapunov functions. Using this method, the fixed-time convergence of the PMSM drive system can be realized and the occurrence of singularity phenomena can be avoided in a simpler and easier method. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation and experimental results.

Solid-phase synthesis of perovskite using spent SCR catalyst and calcium carbonate and its application as ceramic opacifier

        Han Zhang,Jianmeng Zhang,Hao Ding,Yangzi Li,Sijia Sun,Weihua Ao,Yu Liang 한국공업화학회 2022 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.114 No.-

In this study, the synthetic perovskite powder (SPP) was produced by solid-phase method using S-SCRand calcium carbonate (CaCO3), and its structure, morphology, and application as ceramic opacifier werestudied. The results show that SPP with a single perovskite phase can be obtained by grinding and calciningraw materials. Adding SPP as opacifier of sanitary ceramics for firing, a white ceramic glaze withexcellent opacity was obtained. Among the glaze chromaticity values, L* is 93.09, a* is 0.76 and b* is4.98. The opacity of the glaze is stronger than that of the glaze using ZrSiO4 and TiO2 as opacifiers, andthe whiteness of the glaze is significantly greater than that of glaze with TiO2. The ceramic glaze layerusing SPP is mainly composed of glass phase, titanite and quartz, of which titanite is the opacified phase. Importantly, TiO2 is pre-combined into perovskite to make it unable to freely and avoid its own hightemperaturephase transition reaction, which is the mechanism to inhibit the yellowing of glaze surfacecaused by direct use of TiO2. This study can play a positive role in improving the utilization value of S-SCRand eliminating the yellowing of ceramic glazes using TiO2 as opacifier.

Direct Synthesis of H2O2 over Ti-Containing Molecular Sieves Supported Gold Catalysts: A Comparative Study for In-situ-H2O2-ODS of Fuel

        Han Zhang,Guangliang Liu,Haiyan Song,Chunxia Chen,Fuqin Han,Ping Chen,Zhixi Zhao,Shaozheng Hu 대한화학회 2013 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.34 No.10

Direct synthesis of H2O2 and in situ oxidative desulfurization of model fuel over Au/Ti-HMS and Au/TS-1 catalysts has been comparatively investigated in water or methanol. Maximum amount (82%) of active Au0 species for H2O2 synthesis was obtained. Au/Ti-HMS and Au/TS-1 exhibited the contrary performances in H2O2 synthesis as CH3OH/H2O ratio of solvent changed. H2O2 decomposition and hydrogenation in water was inhibited by the introduction of methanol. Effect of O2/H2 ratio on H2O2 concentration, H2 conversion and H2O2 selectivity revealed a relationship between H2O2 generation and H2 consumption. The highest dibenzothiophene removal rate (83.2%) was obtained over Au/Ti-HMS in methanol at 1.5 of O2/H2 ratio and 60 oC. But removal of thiophene over Au/TS-1 should be performed in water without heating to obtain a high removal rate (61.3%). Meanwhile, H2 conversion and oxidative desulfurization selectivity of H2 were presented.

Large eddy simulation of turbulent fl ow using the parallel computational fl uid dynamics code GASFLOW-MPI

        Han Zhang,Yabing Li,Jianjun Xiao,Thomas Jordan 한국원자력학회 2017 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.49 No.6

GASFLOW-MPI is a widely used scalable computational fluid dynamics numerical tool to simulate the fluidturbulence behavior, combustion dynamics, and other related thermalehydraulic phenomena in nuclearpower plant containment. An efficient scalable linear solver for the large-scale pressure equation is one ofthe key issues to ensure the computational efficiency of GASFLOW-MPI. Several advanced Krylov subspacemethods and scalable preconditioning methods are compared and analyzed to improve the computationalperformance. With the help of the powerful computational capability, the large eddy simulation turbulentmodel is used to resolve more detailed turbulent behaviors. A backward-facing step flow is performed tostudy the free shear layer, the recirculation region, and the boundary layer, which is widespread in manyscientific and engineering applications. Numerical results are compared with the experimental data in theliterature and the direct numerical simulation results by GASFLOW-MPI. Both time-averaged velocityprofile and turbulent intensity are well consistent with the experimental data and direct numericalsimulation result. Furthermore, the frequency spectrum is presented and a e5/3 energy decay is observedfor a wide range of frequencies, satisfying the turbulent energy spectrum theory. Parallel scaling tests arealso implemented on the KIT/IKET cluster and a linear scaling is realized for GASFLOW-MPI.

An Injectable, In Situ Forming and NIR-Responsive Hydrogel Persistently Reshaping Tumor Microenvironment for Efficient Melanoma Therapy

        Han Zhang,Liangshan Hu,Wei Xiao,Yanqiong Su,Donglin Cao 한국생체재료학회 2023 생체재료학회지 Vol.27 No.00

Background Melanoma is a highly aggressive form of skin cancer with increasing incidence and mortality rates. Chemotherapy, the primary treatment for melanoma, is limited by hypoxia-induced drug resistance and suppressed immune response at the tumor site. Modulating the tumor microenvironment (TME) to alleviate hypoxia and enhance immune response has shown promise in improving chemotherapy outcomes. Methods In this study, a novel injectable and in situ forming hydrogel named MD@SA was developed using manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanosheets pre-loaded with the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin (DOX) and mixed with sodium alginate (SA). The sustainable drug delivery, oxygen generation ability, and photothermal property of MD@SA hydrogel were characterized. The therapeutic efficacy of hydrogel was studied in B16F10 in vitro and B16F10 tumorbearing mice in vivo. The immune effects on macrophages were analyzed by flow cytometry, real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR, and immunofluorescence analyses. Results The MD@SA hydrogel catalyzed the tumoral hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) into oxygen, reducing the hypoxic TME, down-regulating hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1α) and drug efflux pump P-glycoprotein (P-gp). The improved TME conditions enhanced the uptake of DOX by melanoma cells, enhancing its efficacy and facilitating the release of tumor antigens. Upon NIR irradiation, the photothermal effect of the hydrogel induced tumor apoptosis to expose more tumor antigens, thus re-educating the M2 type macrophage into the M1 phenotype. Consequently, the MD@SA hydrogel proposes an ability to constantly reverse the hypoxic and immune-inhibited TME, which eventually restrains cancer proliferation. Conclusion The injectable and in situ forming MD@SA hydrogel represents a promising strategy for reshaping the TME in melanoma treatment. By elevating oxygen levels and activating the immune response, this hydrogel offers a synergistic approach for TME regulation nanomedicine.
