      • 영지 (Ganoderma lucidum) 자실체 다당류의 분자량에 따른 생리활성

        The study was conducted to investigate the biological activities of an protein-bound polysaccharide (GLP) isolated from the fruit body of Ganoderma lucidum. GLP was extracted by hot water and then it was purified high (GLP-HM) and low (GLP-LM) molecular weight fraction by ethanol precipitation. Both of GLP-HM and GLP-LM at doses of 20 mg/kg in vivo had the ability to inhibit the tumor growth of Sarcoma 180 tumor-bearing mice. Inhibition rates of tumor (%) were inhibited 60.6% and 38.7% by GLP-HM and GLP-LM, respectively. In assay of anti-complementary activity in vitro, the GLP-HM were higher than that of the GLP-LM polysaccharide. And also, the GLP-HM enhanced nitric oxide production of mouse bone marrow cells. When the GLP-HM was injected intraperitoneally in tumor-bearing mouse at doses of 20 mg/kg, the concentration of TNF-α in vivo was 140.9 pg/ml in the serum, 269.6 pg/ml in sarcoma tumor mass and 879.4 pg/ml in liver. This study shows that the high molecular polysaccharide from mushroom can enhance more the bioactivities than that of the low molecular polysaccharide.

      • Streptococcus mutans 로 부터 분리된 mutan의 화학적 특성

        Streptococcus mutans produces water-soluble and water-insoluble α-glucan from sucrose by multiple glucosyltransferase (GTFs). Mutan, primarily water-insoluble α-glucan plays an important role in the development of dental plaque. The study was conducted to investigate the chemical properties of mutan purified from crude extracellular polysaccharide of S. mutans. In batch culture of S. mutans, the percent yield(%) of crude extracellular polysaccharide was calculated as 0.026%. Total carbohydrate and protein contents of crude polysaccharide showed 67.3 and 24.3%, respectively. The contents of hexosamine from extracellular polysaccharide extract were found to be 2.4%. Sugar composition analysis showed that mutan obtained from purification of crude polysaccharide is mainly composed of glucose with a slight amount of galactose. In an infrared absorption spectrum of the mutan, the absorption peak in the range of 700 ∼ 900 cm^(-1) indicated that the mutan contained α-1,3-glucan. The ^(13)C NMR spectrum analysis shows that mutan has a high similarity with the α-1,3 linked glucan.

        산청군 생비량면 도전리의 마애불상군을 대상으로 사진을 이용한 3D Modeling의 원리 및 제작 방법에 대해서 알아보고 이를 이용한 문화재 보존 및 원형유지를 위한 방법을 논의하였다. Review the principle and manufactured methods of 3D Modeling use a photograph about Dojeonri Rock Cliff Buddha in the Sancheong. Then search for it's methods for maintenance of original form and preservation of cultural properties.

      • 비정형 자료의 정량화를 위한 정보계측 기법의 개발

        Statistical total information was suggested by modifying Gell-Mann's total information in the process of dividing by bit number of composing elements. Results of application satisfied set condition of information suggested by Gell-Mann, converged in the case that all elements are known, and expressed the differences with deterministic information. To find the relation with real value, total information gathered in Encyclopedia regressed with land value and showed significant relation. Further research on automatic gathering information in more stable IGUS like internet would benefit assessing ambiguous value like environment and human feeling.

        초등학교 아동의 치과치료장면 그림의 주조색과 불안도의 연관성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of the study was to observe the association between the main colors of school chidlren's drawings of dental treatment situation and their dental anxiety. The subjects of study were 688 school children from 2nd to 4th grade. Caries experience was investigated by oral examination. Questionnaire survey was done regarding children's attitude toward the dentist and dental treatment and their experience of pain and fear during the dental treatment. Colors with high frequency of use were green, blue, yellow, orange, pink, purple, gray, brown, yellow ochre, red, white and black in order. Boys used green and blue, and girls used yellow and orange, more than each other. As the grade increased, white, yellow, and blue increased and brown decreased. Colors with high dental anxiety level were black, brown, red, white, blus, orange, yellow and green, yellow ochre, gray, pink, and purple in order, and the upper four represented 10.5% of the subjects. Children with high decayed teeth rate had a tendency to use colors of high dental anxiety level. Black color had the most obvious association with the pain and fear of dental treatment.

        Self-leveling material is the floor finishing material that is able to make surface level by itself, it can go on a next construction in a short time. Self-leveling materials are composed of various binders and chemical additions, and it is difficult to catch suitable mixing proportion of composion materials. This study is to investigate and analyze consistency and strength properties of according to component ratio of main materials and we endeavor to get suitable mixing propertion of binders by experimental design and statistical analysis. The results of this study are showed that suitable mixing proportions of binders are OPC(Ordinary Portland Cement) 70~80%, AC(Alumina Cement) 5~10%, AG)Anhydrous Gypsum) 5~20%.

        The sensor and measuring instrument that are used for the infrastructure is discussed the reliability problem from the various environment factors. In the domestic infrastructure, the low reliability products are produced, because of lack of the pertinent test methods and equipments. To improve the practical use and accuracy of the sensor, it raises the measurement reliability about the sensor and measurement instrument. In this study, the variance of the displacement value according to temperature was investigated using the LVDT for the infrastructure. The experimental results showed that a sensor is affected by environment factor such as temperature.

        기계적 합금화에 의해 제조된 고규소 Al-Si 합금 나노 결정의 특성

        High silicon Al-Si alloys with nanocrystalline structures have been produced by mechanical alloying process. Microstructural changes of the Al-Si alloys were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and the transmission electron microscopy. X-ray diffraction analysis was also made to characterize the lattice constant, crystallite size and misfit strain. It was found that the effective milling time by attrition milling was about 12hours for Al-70 wt%Si alloy system. The Al and Si crystallites were reduced to about 30 nm and 70 nm, respectively, by the mechanical alloying for more than 12hours. The misfit strains increased with milling time UD to 240 hours, and saturated to 5.73×10^(-3) for Al and Si crystallites, respectively.

        Cheju island formed by volcanic activity which results many distribution of cindercone all over the island. Cindercone is composed of mainly scoria which is called "song-I" in Cheju dialect. The engineering properties of this scoria is completely different from granitic residual soils or sandy soils. Cheju island is being composed of mainly volcanic basalt. because of lack of quartzous sandy materials. Scoria is widely used as road foundation. aggregate for concrete and filler for retaining walls. Therefore scoria is studied on the behaviors of crushability strength. compactability and shearing strength. From this study, the variation of grain size, water content and the influence of shearing strengh due to compaction is observed and correlation of mechanical properties of decomposed granitic soil and scoria is made. The results of compacion test and direct shearing test are as follows (1) Scoria is vesicular perform high permeability accordingly and shows microcrytalline texture with fewer clay minerals while granitic weathered soil has granular texture of which feldspar produce abundant clay minerals by kaolitxation (2) The decompose granitic soils behave increment of density and decrement of optimum moisture content by increasing compaction energy. scoria shows increment of density but no variation in optimum moisture content is observed during the application of compaction energy. This indicates the higher ratio of micro vesicular in scoria. The void ratio after compaction is higher in scoria than decomposed granitic soils. (3) The crushing index is the highest in grain size of 0.1 - 0.5mm in decomposed granitic soil and constant increment of ratio is obseved in scoria. (4) At O.M.C state. the angle of internal fricion is increasing and cohesive index is decreasing due to increment of compaction energy while both angle of internal friction and cohesive index is decreasing due to the increasing simultaneously in scoria. The increment range of shear strength is higher in scoria than decomposed granitic soils. (5) In stress-strain curve this increment range of shearing strength of scoria is larger than granitic soil but the horizontal strain up to failure point is smaller.
