        침과 경락 연구의 정수, 어디로 가야 하나?

        침의 호혜적 효과는 작용하는가에 대해 세계적 연구의 관심을 불러 일으켰다. 이 연구는 침의 요점에 대한 이전 연구들을 종합하여 요약하고 자율신경계 기능이 이 주제를 다룰 수 있는 새로운 길일 수 있다는 것을 제안한다. 우선 근세 50년 동안의 침과 경락에 대한 핵심적 연구들에 대해 간략히 고찰하고, 이들 연구를 크게 3개로 분류한다. 1)일반적 뇌 단백질(펩티드)의 반응, 2)반사, 3)침자리의 특이적 반응 경락의 개발은 인간의 동적 활동의 결과로 나타나는 것일 수 있다. 둘째로 중의학의 변증 기준과 자율 신경계와 상관관계를 분석하고, 결론적으로 침이 어떻게 자율신경계를 조절하는지를 살펴본다.

        Mining Implicit Correlations between Users with the Same Role for Trust-Aware Recommendation

        Trust as one of important social relations has attracted much attention from researchers in the field of social network-based recommender systems. In trust network-based recommender systems, there exist normally two roles for users, truster and trustee. Most of trust-based methods generally utilize explicit links between truster and trustee to find similar neighbors for recommendation. However, there possibly exist implicit correlations between users, especially for users with the same role (truster or trustee). In this paper, we propose a novel Collaborative Filtering method called CF-TC, which exploits Trust Context to discover implicit correlation between users with the same role for recommendation. In this method, each user is first represented by the same-role users who are co-occurring with the user. Then, similarities between users with the same role are measured based on obtained user representation. Finally, two variants of our method are proposed to fuse these computed similarities into traditional collaborative filtering for rating prediction. Using two publicly available real-world Epinions and Ciao datasets, we conduct comprehensive experiments to compare the performance of our proposed method with some existing benchmark methods. The results show that CF-TC outperforms other baseline methods in terms of RMSE, MAE, and recall.

        Disc cutters’ layout design of the full-face rock tunnel boring machine (TBM) using a cooperative coevolutionary algorithm

        In rock TBM design the disc cutters’ layout design of the full-face rock tunnel boring machine (TBM) is one of the key technologies. However, there are few published papers in literatures for various reasons. In this paper, based on the engineering technical requirements and the corresponding cutter head’s structure design requirements, a nonlinear multi-objective disc cutters’ layout mathematical model with complex constraints and the corresponding multi-stage solution strategy are presented, in which the whole disc cutters’ layout design process is decomposed into the disc cutters’ spacing design and the disc cutters’ plane layout design. A numerical simulation method based on the FEM theory is adopted to simulate the rock chipping process induced by three TBM disc cutters to determine the optimal cutter spacing. And a cooperative coevolutionary genetic algorithm (CCGA) is adopted to solve the disc cutters’ plane layout design problem. Finally, a disc cutters’ layout design instance of the TBM is presented to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. The computational results show that the proposed method can be used to solve the disc cutters’ layout design problem of the TBM and provide various layout schemes within short running times for the engineers to choose from.

      • Temperature Characteristics of Power Ternary Polymer Li-ion Batteries

        The characteristics of power ternary polymer Li-ion batteries are closely connected to ambient temperature. The capacity characteristic, resistance and state of charge-open circuit voltage (SOC-OCV) curve are important parameters to represent the performance of power batteries and to determine battery management system (BMS) design. The experiments at different ambient temperatures are carried out and the laws between temperature and capacity, resistance and OCV are studied. The capacity drops sharply under low temperature, and increases with a relatively slower rate than under low temperature when the temperature goes up. Polarization and ohmic resistances during charge and discharge process decrease when the temperature rises, and the change rate of ohmic resistance is higher than that of the polarization resistance. Moreover, the change of ohmic resistance under low temperature is more significant than under high temperature. With the decrease of temperature, the SOC-OCV curve moves down, but generally, the curve is affected only slightly by the temperature.

        Active trench barrier RC‑IGBT with pinch‑off and carrier accumulation effects

        A Reverse Conduction Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (RC-IGBT) featuring an Active Trench Barrier (ATB) based on Super-Junction (SJ) technology is proposed and investigated. The double-trench gates are designed at the N-pillar and P-pillar of the SJ drift. Consequently, a p-type ATB located between the two trench gates is formed. The ATB working mechanism is controlled and modulated by the Gate Voltage (VGE) of the double-trench gates. In the forward conduction state, the ATB channel is depleted and automatically pinched off by the positive VGE. Thus, the barrier potential of the ATB is remarkably improved. Additionally, holes accumulate underneath the ATB and maintain high conductivity modulation of the SJ drift region. Thus, the low on-state voltage drop (VON) is obtained. In the reverse conduction state, the ATB pinch-off effect automatically fades away with the grounded VGE. In addition, the ATB, P-pillar, and N + act as the anode, drift, and cathode of the Free-Wheeling Diode (FWD), respectively. Electrons are blocked and accumulated by the trench gates. Thus, the hole injection is enhanced and the reverse conduction voltage (VR) is reduced. In the turn-off state, excessive holes can be effectively extracted by the extra ATB channel, and the turn-off loss (EOFF) is remarkably decreased. As a result, the trade-off relationship between VON and EOFF can be significantly improved, which achieves the best comprehensive property when compared with the conventional RC-IGBT and SJ-IGBT.

        Characteristics of the Infection of Tilletia laevis Kühn (syn. Tilletia foetida (Wallr.) Liro.) in Compatible Wheat

        Tilletia laevis Kühn (syn. Tilletia foetida (Wallr.) Liro.) causes wheat common bunt, which is one of the most devastating plant diseases in the world. Common bunt can result in a reduction of 80% or even a total loss of wheat production. In this study, the characteristics of T. laevis infection in compatible wheat plants were defined based on the combination of scanning electron mi- croscopy, transmission electron microscopy and laser scanning confocal microscopy. We found T. laevis could lead to the abnormal growth of wheat tissues and cells, such as leakage of chloroplasts, deformities, disordered arrangements of mesophyll cells and also thickening of the cell wall of mesophyll cells in leaf tissue. What’s more, T. laevis teliospores were found in the roots, stems, flag leaves, and glumes of infected wheat plants instead of just in the ovaries, as previously reported. The abnormal characteristics caused by T. laevis may be used for early detection of this pathogen instead of molecular markers in addition to providing theoretical insights into T. laevis and wheat interactions for breed- ing of common bunt resistance.

      • Seismic behavior of coupled wall structure with innovative quickly replaceable coupling beams

        In order to improve the seismic resilience of coupled wall structure, coupling beam with fuse has been developed to reduce the post-earthquake damage. However, the fuses often have a build-up I-shaped section and are relatively heavy to be replaced. Moreover, the fuse and the beam segments are usually connected by bolts and it is time-consuming to replace the damaged fuse. For reducing the repair time and cost, a novel quickly replaceable coupling beam with buckling-restrained energy dissipaters is developed. The fuse of the proposed coupling beam consists of two chord members and bar-typed energy dissipaters placed at the corners of the fuse. In this way, the weight of the energy dissipater can be greatly reduced. The energy dissipaters and the chords are connected with hinge and it is convenient to take down the damaged energy dissipater. The influence of ratio of the length of coupling beam to the length of fuse on the seismic performance of the structure is also studied. The seismic performance of the coupled wall system with the proposed coupling beam is compared with the system with reinforced concrete coupling beams. Results indicated that the weight and post-earthquake repair cost of the proposed fuse can be reduced compared with the typical I-shaped fuse. With the increase of the ratio of the beam length to the fuse length, the interstory drift of the structure is reduced while the residual fuse chord rotation is increased.

        Bond Strength between Recycled Concrete and Rebar under Stirrup Constraint after Freeze-thaw Cycles

        In cold regions, freeze-thaw (F-T) damage is the main detriment to the durability of reinforced concrete structures, which will reduce the bond performance between concrete and rebar, and then adversely affect the bearing capacity and stiffness of structures. In this study, 21 groups of tests were performed to analyze the effects of the number of F-T cycles, volume stirrup ratio, and replacement percentage of recycled aggregate on the bond performance between recycled aggregate concrete and deformed rebar. The stirrup stress during the pulling process was measured using strain gauges attached to the stirrup surface, and the contribution of the stirrup to the bond strength was analyzed. The results showed that the F-T damage and stirrup constraints could affect the failure mode, the bond strength and the peak slip of pullout specimen. The failure mode of specimen with stirrups could be determined by splitting angle index. The indirect contribution of stirrup accounts for 14 − 25% of the bond strength and increases with the increase in F-T damage. The full bond-slip curve was obtained by fitting four parameters including splitting tensile strength, constraint coefficient, splitting angle index and brittleness index.

        Comparison of the Prognostic Value of Platelet-Related Indices in Biliary Tract Cancer Undergoing Surgical Resection

        Purpose Platelet-related indices, including mean platelet volume (MPV) and plateletocrit (PCT), have been reported as new prognostic factors of overall survival (OS) in many cancers, but not yet in biliary tract cancer (BTC). We intended to assess these indices in predicting OS in BTC patients with the aim to build a new prognostic model for patients with BTC after surgical resection. Materials and Methods Survival analysis and time receiver operating characteristic analysis were applied to screen the platelet indices. Univariate and multivariate Cox analyses were used to identify independent prognostic factors and develop a new prognostic model. Harrell’s C-statistics, calibration curves, and decisive curve analysis were used to assess the model. Results MPV and platelet distribution width (PDW)/PCT showed the best prognostic accuracy among the platelet indices. In multivariable analysis, factors predictive of poor OS were presence of nodal involvement, Non-radical surgery, poor tumor differentiation, carbohydrate antigen 19-9 > 100 U/mL, MPV > 8.1 fl, and PDW/PCT > 190. The new model was found to be superior to the TNM staging system and our new staging system showed higher discriminative power.Conclusion MPV and PDW/PCT have high prognostic value in BTC patients, and the novel staging system based on these two indices showed good discrimination and accuracy compared with the American Joint Committee on Cancer 7th TNM staging system.
