        심한 하악골 전돌증 환자의 외과적 치험례

        Obwegeser Ⅱ method and Rigid fixation conserving the condylar position has been performed on 5 patients with severe mandibular prognathism, and we obtained the result after the follow up study follows. 1. Obwegeser Ⅱ method is considered to move the distal segment passively when surgical correction of severe open bite correction and large amount of set back above 15mm is needed. 2. In one case that has more change of condylar position after operation, documented immediate post- operative relapse have been occurred 3. In the others that have adequate control of condylar position, passive set back and firm skeletal fixation, more functional and esthetic improvement and more post-operative stability has been achieved

        추황배(Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai cv. Chuhwangbae) 과피로부터 1종의 Sterol과 3종의 배당체 화합물의 단리·동정

        본 연구에서는 배의 유용성 증명을 위한 일환으로 배의 화학성분을 분자수준에서 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 배 과피 MeOH 추출물을 용매분획하여 얻은 EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성분획을 대상으로 Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, 그리고 ODS colmn chromatography와 HPLC를 이용하여 정제 및 단리하였다. 그 결과, EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성 분획으로부터 각각 2종씩의 화합물을 단리하였다. 단리된 화합물 1-4는 1H- 및 13C-NMR 분석을 통하여 각각 (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (화합물 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone(piceoside, 화합물 2), β-sitosterol (화합물 3), 그리고 β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (화합물 4)로 동정되었다. 단리된 3종의 배당체 화합물(화합물 1, 2, 4)들은 본 연구에 의해 배로부터 처음 동정되었으며, 화합물 3은 추황배로부터 처음 동정되었다. 본 연구결과가 배 함유 성분연구는 물론 배의 기능성 해명 연구에도 추후 중요한 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다. We isolated and identified antioxidants from acidic and neutral ethyl acetate fractions of the peel of pear (Pyrus pyrifolia N. cv. Chuhwangbae). We isolated 4 compounds from the methanol extract, by using 3 different types of column chromatography (Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, and octadecylsilane) and preparative HPLC. We identified the isolated compounds as (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (compound 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone (picroside, compound 2), β-sitosterol (compound 3), and β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (compound 4) by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis. We are the first to report the identification of compounds 1, 2, and 4 from pear.

      • The Antioxidant Effect of the Rhaponticum uniflorum Extracts on the Oxidative Stress in H₂O₂ induced Human Keratinocytes

        In this study, To investigate the antioxidant activities of Rhaponticum uniflorum extracts (RUE), we assessed scavenging activities on DPPH, ABTS radicals, and reducing power. The DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities (SC50) of RUE were 96.97±1.19 μg/mL and 31.26±0.13 μ g/mL, respectively, and the reducing power significantly increased dose-dependent manner. To study the antioxidant effecters of RUE in H₂O₂ induced human keratinocytes, expression of Nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) were determined by Western blot and qRT-PCR. RUE induced the expression of HO-1, a critical target enzyme of Nrf2, in a concentration-dependent manner. The expression of HO- 1 mRNA was also induced in H₂O₂-treated HaCaT cells but no significant difference in the level of HO-1 mRNA was observed. Taken together, these results suggest that RUE may be useful as a potential ingredient for anti-aging products.

      • 항암제 투여가 이식된 가토 유리자가골의 치유에 미치는 영향

        저자는 가토 16마리를 사용하여 하악골편을 절제하여 재이식한 후 7일째 대조군 8마리에 생리식염수 5cc를 정주하고 실험군 8마리에 체중 1kg당 Cisplatin 2mg과 5-Fluo- ruracil 40mg을 정주한 후에서 각각 3, 7, 14, 21일째 군별로 2마리씩 희생시켜 이식골의 치유과정을 조직학적으로 비교 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 투약후 3일(이식후 10일)째 이식된 골조직내의 세포는 생활력을 나타내며 골간극에는 신생골주가 형성되었다. 2. 투약후 7일째 형성된 골소주에 의해 수용체와 이식골이 유합되기 시작하여 투약후 14일째 대부분에서 골성유합이 완성되었어며 투약후 21일째에는 재형성과정이 진행되었다. 3. 투약후 각 기간별로 대조군과 실험군에서 명확한 차이는 없었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of antineoplastic agents on the healing process of free autogenous bone graft to reconstruct mandible immediately after tumor resection. Sixteen rabbits, resected and replanted a part of mandible, were divided into two groups. The eigth experimental rabbits were administrated cisplatin 2mg and 5-fluorouracil 40mg per kg of body weight, and the eight controls were administrated normal saline 5cc on postoperation 7 days. Each of them was sacrified 3,7,14 and 21 days after administration of drugs. Specimens were obtained and processed in a routine manner for H-E stain. After light microscopic examination, following results were obtained. 1. In 3 days after administration of chemotherapic agents, the cell in the graft showed vitality, and new trabecular bone was formed in the gap between host and graft bone. 2. In 7 days after administration, bony union between host bed and graft by new-formed trabecular bone was appeared, and in 14 days achieved almost. In 21 days, remodeling process was appeared. 3. There was no significant difference between experimental and control groups.

      • 방사선 조사후 아크릴릭 레진의 물성변화

        To investigate the effect of high dose irradiation on the mechanical properties. dental acrylic resin specimens were irradiated and the Vickers hardness number(VHN) and the 3-point flexure strength(FS) were measured before and after irradiation. Five kinds of acrylic resins were studied. Two(VRS. PS2) were heat cured denture base resins. one(VSC) was chemically cured denture base resin and the other two(ORJ, VOP) were orthodontic resins. The acrylic resin specimens were made according to the manufacturer's instructions and were finally polished with Microcloth (Buehler). Among ten specimens of each material. five specimens were irraditated with 100 Gy using a linear accelerator (Mitsubishi 6 MV), and the others were not. The specimens were immersed in 37℃ D.W. for 48 hours before testing. Each specimens the VHN was measured 10 times. Their FS was measured with an universal testing machine (Instron 4302, England), with a cross-head speed of 5 mm/min. The VHNs of heat cured resins were 21.52∼25.55 kg/㎟ before irradiation and 19.93∼26.58 kg/㎟ after irradiation. Those of chemically cured resins were 11.28∼16.6kg/㎟ before irradiation and 11.3∼14.3 kg/㎟ after irradiation. The VHNs of heat cured acrylic resins were significantly higher than those of chemically cured resins were significantly higher than those of chemically cured resins before and after irradiation(p<0.05). VHN of VRS was significantly increased after irradiation, and those of VOP and PS2 were significantly decreased after irradiation (p<0.05). The FS of resins studied were 6.7∼8.0 kg/㎟ before irradiation and 6.5∼8.4 kg/㎟ after irradiation. The FS of VSC and VRS increased after irradiation and those of VOP, ORJ and PS2 decreased after irradiation, but the results were not statistically significant. Before irradiation, the FS of heat cured resins were somewhat higher than those of chemically cured resin, but not statistically significant, and after irradiation the FS of heat cured resins were significantly higher than those of orthodontic resins. In conclusion. high dose irradiation did not result in consistent changes in mechanical properties.

      • 경두개촬영법에서 조사각도변화에 의한 하악과두의 모양에 관한 실험적 연구

        The author has evaluated the transcranial oblique lateral images of the mandibular condyle according to the angulation of the radiation projection. The lead foils were attached to both condylar poles and two thin wires were attached to the superior border and posterior border of the condyle. The mandibular condyle was located on the device designed specially. The materials consisted of 56 transcranial oblique lateral projections. The results were as follows: 1. It was possible to find the point of the retroepicondyle at angles of H-1OVO. HOVO, H-1OV5, HOV5, HOV1O and H1OVO - H1OV35(H:horizontal angulation. V:vertical angulation). 2. It was impossible to find the osteosclerotic line located in the anterior portion of the condyle on transcranial oblique lateral view at angles of H2OVO, H2OV5, H3OVO. H3OV5, H3OV1O. The length of the osteosclerotic line was positive horizontal angulation. but the distance between the osteosclerotic line and the superior border of the condyle was getting closer. 3. When the vetical angulation increased. the smooth posteior border line of the condyle was getting angulated with the increase of the positive horizontal angulation and getting curved sharply with the increase of the negative horizontal angulation. 4. We might misinterpret the shape of the medial pole as the ostophyte seen in osteoarthrosis with the increase of the negative horizontal angulation. 5. The inclination and the distance between both condylar poles were getting increased with the increase of the horizontal and the vertical angulation.

        <安民歌>의 創作動機와 彌勤思想 硏究

        <Hyang-ga> is the origin of Korean literature, the essence of Korean poetry, the valuable cultural inheritance, and one of the spheres of unique spiritual culture of Korea. In this study, <Anminga>, one of the works carried in <Samgukyusa> was examined, particularly on the motive of its creation and the ideas which could be seen in the work. As the story of its background had weight with <Anminga>, the poetry was placed under the same category of the story of its background. The frequent appearance of 'Ⅰ-Ⅰ1 Byeong Hyeon'(two suns appearing at the same time) and 'Oh Ak Sam San Shin' during the king, Gyeongdeok, had the meaning of precaution against the evil omen of the ruin of the country. Recognizing the ominous situation, king, Gyeongdeok must have put into his heart and soul to overcome it, and as a desperate measure, he thought it would be a good way to try to get help from the 'Young Bok' buddhist monk. He believed 'Chungdam-sa' as the 'Young Bok' buddhist monk. That's because Chungdam-sa showed very strong faith about Mireuk by offering tea to Mireuk on every third and ninth day each year. We can also guess it from considering that the direction Chungdam-sa was headed was the south. The south meant 'Nam San', the holy land which had played a leading role in the life and death of a nation and the place where 'Hwarangdo' had concentrated their energies on Mireuk Faith were living in a group. Therefore, as king Gyeongdeok knew the relation between Nam San and Mireuk Faith better than any other person, he pointed out Chungdam-sa, a Hwarang and a buddhist monk as the 'Young Bok' buddhist monk after seeing him offering tea to Mireuk placed in Nam San Sam Hwa Ryeong. King Gyeongdeok asked Chungdam-sa who was coming back from Nam San Sam Hwa Ryeong, the symbol of Mireuk Faith and whom he indicated as a Hwarang and 'Young Bok' buddhist monk to make <Anminga> for him. Seeing through all the situation, Chungdam-sa thought all those problems were caused from the conflict between king and his subjectives and Mireuk Faith would be necessary to get out of the confrontation and conflict. We can tell that he created <Anminga> to solve all the problems. So it's possible to guess that Mireuk Faith was the background of the ideology of <Anminga>.

      • 고분자 전해질을 이용한 한외여과에서 마그네슘의 제거에 대한 교반시간의 영향

        This paper was to investigate the effect of mixing time on the rejection of magnesium in polyelectrolyte enhanced ultrafiltration with PSS[poly(sodium-4-styrenesulfonate)] and PDDA[poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)]. The removal ratio of magnesium, the rejection ratio of polyelectrolyte, and the Permeate flux were stable within 10 min of mixing. PSS is more effective than PDDA in the removal of magnesium. When PSS of 2.000 ㎎/L was used. the removal ratio of magnesium was 78%. The rejection ratios of PSS and PDDA in Mg solution were up to 95.9% and 95.7%. respectively.

      • 절연 파괴 특성을 이용한 에폭시 복합체의 절연 신뢰도 예측

        본 연구에서는 송배전 계통에서 변성기의 몰드 재료로서 널리 사용되고 있는 에폭시 수지를 시료로 하여 설정해 높은 배합비에 따라 5종으로 제작한 각 시편에 대해 절연 파괴 실험을 하였다. 절연파괴 데이터를 가지고 와이블 분포식을 이용하여 임의의 허용 파괴 확률에서의 허용인가 전계의 값을 추정하였으며 절연 안전성을 판단하기 위하여 경년 열화(經年劣化) 데이터의 통계 처리를 행한 결과 허용 파괴 확률을 0.1[%]로 하였을 때, 허용 인가 전계는 21.5[kV/mm] 이하가 되어야 함을 확인할 수 있었다. In this study, the dielectric breakdown of epoxy composites used for transformers was experimented and then its data were simulated by Weibull distribution probability. The more hardener increased the stronger breakdown strength at low temperature because of cross-linked density by the virtue of ester radical, and the breakdown strength of specimens with filler was lower than it of non-filler specimens because it is believed that the adding filler forms interface and charge is accumulated in it, therefore the molecular motility is raised, the electric field is concentrated, and the acceleration of electron and the growth of electron avalanche are early accomplished. From the analysis of Weibull distribution, it was confirmed that as the allowed breakdown probability was given by 0.1[%], the applied field value needed to be under 21.5[kV/mm].
