        The critical power(CP) is the highest intensity to sustain for a long time without a fatigue. The anaerobic work capacity(AWC) is the highest anaerobic capacity to be provided by anaerobic energy system without the infection of hypoxia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between AWC and AnP and to verify the validity of AWC. The subjects were consisted of 10 elementary and 10 middle school male students(12.8±1.3yrs, 159.3±12.1㎝, 49.4±11.8㎏). The critical power and anaerobic work capacity were calculated by work-time relationship after four cycle ergometry test to fatigue from 1 to 10 minute. The anaerobic power included Margaria-Kalmen test, Sargent jump and Wingate test. The main finding were as follows. The AWC of elementary and middle school students. were 6.47±2.63KJ and 11.10±3.01KJ. The AWC of elementary students was 58.3% of the middle school students's one. The AnP of elementary students were 47.2∼66.5% of the middle school students's one. And there were high correlation between AWC and AnP(0.64∼0.87, P<0.01). This study showed that AWC is useful index on AnP both elementary and middle school students.

        Photocatalyzed degradation of acetylene, propylene, and propane gases were carried out over precoated titanium dioxide(anatase) illuminated UV light in a flow reactor. photocatalytic oxidation of acetylene, propylene, and propane gases respectively indicated high conversion rates (78.0%) to CO₂gas. And photocatalytic oxidation of three gases according to a fold, twofold, and threefold of titanium dioxide(anatase) respectively gave high conversion rate. The longer reaction time was, the higher conversion rate to CO₂gas showed.

        We present a case of angiomyofibroblastoma of the vulva in a 32-year-old woman. The asymptomatic lesion measured 4×3cm and appeared as a gray-white myxoid mass on cut sections Histologically, it appeared as a relatively well-circumscribed spindle cell proliferation with alternating hypercellular and hypocellular areas and proliferation of thin-walled blood vessels. Immunohistochemically, the stromal cells expressed vimentin, CD34 and progesterone receptor, but not desmin, α-smooth muscle actin, S-100 protein and estrogen receptor.         Performance of strenuous physical activity can increase oxygen consumption by 10 to 15-fold over rest to meet energy demands. The resulting elevated oxygen consumption produces an "oxidative stress" that leads to the generation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation. A defense system of free radical scavengers minimizes these dangerous radicals. Indirect measurements of free radicals generated during exercise include assessing products of lipid peroxidation that appear in the blood (e.g., malondialdehyde and conjugated dienes) or expired in the breath (pentane). Changes in antioxidant scavengers and associated enzymes (e.g., glutathione, tocopherol, glutathione peroxidase) also provide clues about demands on the defense system. Physical training has been shown to result in an augmented antioxidant system and a reduction in lipid peroxidation. In recent years, much attention has been paid to the role antioxidants play in physical activity and physical performance. This attention is largely focused on the increase in free radicals generated during strenuous exercise. As oxygen consumption, and hence oxidative stress, is increased, free radicals are produced. Studies have reported that antioxidant supplementation can reduce evidence of exercise induced lipid perozidation. It has been suggested that those who engage in chronic physical activity, placing a constant oxidative stress on the muscles and other cells, may require additional antioxidants to help them recover from exercise. Other than their role in reducing tissue damage, the data are equivocal with respect to whether antioxidants will directly enhance physical performance. Antioxidant supplementation may be prepared to handle an sudden increase in oxidative stress. Studies have shown increases in oxidative stress during performance of strenuous exercise and then supplementation would reduce this stress. The effects of antioxidant supplementation on physical performance are very affirmative.

        Thermodynamic parameters of a homologous serious of n-aldehydes were determined by using gas chromatographic retention data, distribution coefficient and following relationships : ??, ??, ??. From the retention data at several temperatures under isothermal conditions, a plot of lnk versus 1/T was generated, and the enthalpy and entropy changes were calculated from the slope and intercept, respectively. The standard free energy value change calculation of the transition between the stationary phase and the mobile phase results in negative value in the most cases, indicating a spontaneous process. The relationship between the standard free energy and the number of carbon atoms in the homologue was linear under isothermal conditions, and the linear relationship between free energy change and temperature was accurately determined. The information applicable to the prediction of retention times using numerical simulation was obtained.

        국내산업계에서 범용적으로 생산되는 시멘트 제품군에 대하여 원료채취부터 제품제조까지에 대한 전과정평가를 수행하였다. 대상제품군은 국내 산업현황을 바탕으로 1종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 2종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 3종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 5종 포틀랜드 시멘트 및 고로슬래그 시멘트를 선정하였다. 각 대상 제품군별 국내 생산량이 큰 기업을 선정하여 전과정 목록분석을 수행하였다. 데이터는 현장 데이터를 적용하였으며, 현장 데이터 취득이 어려운 경우 데이터베이스를 사용하였다. 영향평가는 분류화, 특성화, 정규화 및 가중치부여 단계로 수행하였다. 환경영향평가지수는 1종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 2종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 3종 포틀랜드 시멘트, 5종 포틀랜드 시멘트 및 고로슬래그 시멘트공정이 각각 6.53E-05, 4.81E-05, 4.39E-05, 4.84E-05 및 3.84E-05로 나타났다. CO2에 의한 지구온난화가 전체 환경영향의 대부분을 차지하였다. A life cycle assessment has been conducted from raw material acquisition to manufacturing for cement products in korea. The product category included portland cement - Type Ⅰ, Type Ⅱ, Type Ⅲ and Type Ⅴ - and Blast furnace cement. The major manufacturing companies were chosen for each product category and conducted life cycle inventory analysis. Generally, Site-specific Data was applied. If it's not impossible, database was used. Impact assessment was carried out consecutively as classification, characterization, normalization and weighting. The eco-indicators of portland cement - Type Ⅰ, Type Ⅱ, Type Ⅲ and Type Ⅴ - and Blast furnace cement were 6.53E-05, 4.81E-05, 4.39E-05, 4.84E-05 and 3.84E-05, respectively. Global warming from CO2 was major contributor of product category.

        We had a result of the treatment as below when is devided Korean medicine Tx.. Western medical Tx., Cooperative Tx.. 1) At the improvement of BP control, an average in Korean medicine Tx. (from 170㎜Hg/100㎜Hg to 150㎜Hg/90㎜Hg), an average in Western medical Tr. (from 170㎜Hg/100㎜Hg to 130㎜Hg/80㎜Hg), an average in Cooperative Tx.(from 180㎜Hg/110㎜Hg to 130㎜Hg/90㎜Hg), generally all pars had improvements of BP control. But it is not significant of each case. 2) At the improvement of symptoms by the apologetics, Cooperative Tx. is profitable in cases of 'GanHwa',' DamEum', 'EumYangYangHer', 'EumHer'. Korean medicine Tx. is superior in case of 'GiChe'. 3) At the improvement of symptoms by a questionnaire, Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx., Cooperative Tx. groups had improvements, but each practice group didn't have specific significance. Only it was somewhat profitable to Korean medical Tx. in the 210㎜Hg/110㎜Hg, Western medical Tx. in the 180㎜Hg/110㎜Hg, Cooperative Tx, in the 170㎜Hg/90㎜ Hg. 4) There are the apparent improvements in patients whose BP are over 200㎜Hg of Korean medical Tx. group, whose BP are over 190㎜Hg of Western medical Tx. group and whose BP are over 170㎜Mg of Cooperative Tx. group. There are the improvement of diastolic BP in 110㎜Mg(Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx.) and 90㎜Hg(Cooperative Tx.). 5) At the improvement of Pulse pressure, generally Pulse pressure are decreased. There are similar improvements in all of Korean medical Tx., Western medical Tx., and Cooperative Tx.. 6) At the Symptomatic approvement according to ages, Korean medical Tx., Cooperative Tx. are somewhat good for his twentieth, and Western medical Tx. is somewhat good for his forties. 7) the correlation of Obesity-grade and BP, as Obesity-grade is higher as BP is higher, but there are no similarity in the improvement. 8) At the EAV improvements, as examination into correlation with the point of 1~3th, we could get results as below. There are high improvements of DRHTM, DRALM, DLLYM, DLLIM in Cooperative Tx. There are high improvements of DRPASI, DLLARI in the Korean medical Tx. group. There are high improvements of DRFADM in Western medical Tx. group.

      • 만성적 스트레스 및 불규칙적인 운동이 심혈관 질환의 위험인자에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to invastigate the effect of everyday life stress level and temporary physical activity by the stress on stress-related hematologic indices. The subjects were 83 male older aged men and they were received a questionaire about everyday life stress level and temporary physical activity by the stress and collected whole blood after overnight fasting state. Obtained results were as follows: 1. CRP level CRP level of MS group was significantly increased compared to SS group(p<.05). However, CRP level between PA and NP was not significant difference. 2. Cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid level Cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid level of MS group was significantly increased compared to SS group(p<.05). However, Cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid level between PA and NP was not significant difference. 3. WBC counts WBC counts of MS group was significantly increased compared to SS group(p<.05). However, WBC counts between OP and PA was not significant difference. From these results, increased stress in everyday life aggravate blood components related cardiovascular risk factors and immune system. In addition, acute exercise for stress attenuation does not improve blood components related cardiovascular risk factors and immune system. In summary, regular exercise and optimal nutrition and rest will be attenuate cardiovascular risk factors and immune system.
