The aim of this research is to study how physical exercise prescription have exerted its influence on the training participants in tennis lesson class with the results of a questionnaire and the examination of the physiological function. The results are as follows. 1. The exercise intensity of the tennis lesson class showed about 45-46% in maximal oxygen uptake, and 300∼400 Cal for its consumption energy. 2. Concerning physical fitness the participants' vertical jump, side step and standing flexibility increased in significance. (P 〈 0.01). The results of the questionnaire were as follows. (1) [I got accustomed to physical activities.], [Tennis class became a place of social intercourse.], [I came to maintain my health.] were main responses. (2) [Palpitation disappeared from me.] [My shoulder aches. Rheumatism and muscular pain dissappeared.] [Health was maintained.] were the main results of the tennis class. (3) [I got myself immune to cold.] and [I go to the hospital less tinges than before.] were among the desirable responses.

Ken-Flote의 부유 선광법으로 정제된 미세한 석탄입자의 탈수법에 대한 실험적 연구가 진행되었다. 이 탈수 연구는 진공 및 압력 여과 장치를 이용하여 첨가제의 사용 유무에 따라 고찰되었으며, 실험 변수로는 압력, 여과시간, 케익두께와 현탁액의 pH였다. 또한 계면활성제 및 응결제와 그것들의 혼합에 따른 케익의 수분 변화량과 진공과 압력을 동시에 적용함으로써 케익의 수분 함유량을 고찰하였다. 총괄적으로 슬러리의 여과는 높은 압력, 긴 여과시간, 낮은 케익두께에서 적은 수분 함유량을 보여주었고, 첨가제의 사용에 따라 미세한 석탄 입자의 탈수를 효과적으로 진행시킬 수 있었다. 하지만 계면 활성제와 응결제를 혼합하여 첨가제로 사용하였을 때는 케익 수분 함유량 변화에 단지 미세한 감소만 초래하였다. 진공과 압력 여과를 동시에 적용하였을 경우는 압력 여과만을 사용하였을 때 보다 더욱 적은 수분 함유량을 보여주었다. 진공과 압력 여과에 대한 공정비는 각각 $1.75/ton과 $5.00/ton으로 산출 되었다 An experimental study of the dewatering of fine coal obtained with the 'Ken-Flote' column was conducted. The dewatering study was conducted with and without additives using laboratory vacuum and pressure filtration devices. The variables studied included the driving force, filtration time, cake thickness and slurry pH. The effects of surfactants, flocculants and their combinations on final moisture content of the filter cakes were also examined. Overall, it was found that the filtration of the slurry was enhanced by higher applied pressure, longer filtration time, lower cake thickness. Also, in general, it was found that the use of additives improved the filtration behavior of the fine coal slurries. It was observed that a combination of surfactant and flocculant provided only marginal improvement in filter cake moisture reduction. Split dewatering using both vacuum and pressure simultaneously provided less cake moisture than that obtained using pressure alone. The operating cost of vacuum and pressure filtration was estimated to be $1.75/ton and $5.00/ton, respectively.

This study was conducted with 12 athletic amenorrheic gymnasts to examine the body composition, diet, menstrual function. They had stature with 154.1㎝, weight with 46.6㎏ and the percent body fat with 16.1%. Energy intake(including snacks) was 948㎉ and energy expenditure was 2280㎉ showing negative energy balance(-1,331㎉). The average intakes of calcium, iron, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin and niacin did not met the Recommended Dietary Allowances for their age groups. Mean age at menarche in gymnasts is 15.8±1.2 years. The profile of estradiol, progesterone and luteinizing hormone was lower than age-matched controls. Athletic amenarrheic gymnasts(N=12) have the menstrual irregularity (N=10) and amenorrhea(N=2). A number of variables as such nutritional deficiency in diet, negative energy balance and hypogonadotropic hormonal status were included

Though the researches into the breathing and circulation of the 22 young, aged from 10 to 18, who are the mentally handicapped youth particopating in the sports programs of a public physical training center in Seoul, and the normal volunteers participating in the sports programs of the Han river citizen park, the following conclusions have been achieved. 1) The ages of the normal volunteers and mentally handicapped youth were the same and though the physical feature didn't show significant statistically, the average height of the normal volunteers was 7cm taller that of the mentally handicapped youth, and the average weight of the normal volunteers was approximately 5kg heavier than that of the mentally handicapped youth and the average heart rates in repose of the normal volunteers was lower than that of the mentally handicapped youth. 2) When exercise were taken to the mentally handicapped youth and the normal volunteers, in the respiratory and circulatory function, the statistically significant was shown as the average of the maximun oxygen intake of the normal volunteers was 1.81 ℓ/min higher(P<0.01) than that of the mentally handicapped youth, and the average oxygen intake per the weight of the normal volunteers handicapped youth, and the maximun heart rates of the normal volunteers 24.69beats/min(P<0.01) higher than of the mentally handicapped youth. 3) The average of the on maximun oxygen of the mentally handicapped youth was 0.73±0.24ℓ/min and the regression equation betwen the age(X) and the maximun oxygen intake was shown as ??=0.042X+0.131(r : 0.32). 4) The average of the maximun oxygen intake per the weight was 15.94±6.02㎖ /kg/min and the regression equation between it and the age was shown as ??=0.499X+8.775(r : 0.01). 5) The average of he maximun heart rates of the mentally handicapped youth and the regression equation between the age(X) and it was shown as ??=2.648X+134.869(r : 0.68). 6) The regression equation between the weight and the maximun oxygen intake per weight for the mentally handicapped youth was shown as ??=0.040X+17.972(r : 0.01).
