Linux 버퍼 캐쉬를 이용한 오픈 임플리멘테이션 이론의 실험과 검증

BBA(Black Box Abstraction) 패러다임을 이용한 기존의 소프트웨어들은, 개발 당시 예측하지 못한 상황에 접했을 경우 성능이 저하될 수 있다. OI(Open Implementation)는 이러한 BBA 의 문제 점을 해결하기 위해 제안된 패러다임이다. OI는 BBA 의 장점을 그대로 유지하면서 클라이언트에게 블랙 박스의 전략을 제어할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공하도록 하여 다양한 상황과 요청에 대한 유연성과 재 사용 성을 부여한다. 본 논문의 저자들은 운영 체제 내의 버퍼 캐쉬의 버퍼 교체 전략이 고정되어 있는 점에 착안, OI 이론을 적용하여 해결하고자 하였다. 본 논문에는 여러 개의 버퍼 교체 전략을 지원할 수 있는 버퍼 캐쉬의 설계를 제안하였다. 사용자 프로그램은 본 논문에서 설계 및 구현된 메타 인터페이스를 통해서 버퍼 교체 전략을 변경할 수 있다. 이를 위해 Linux 커널의 버퍼 캐쉬 모듈이 수정되었고 가상 응용 프로그램을 이용하여 성능 평가가 실시되었다. 이 결과 최대 36%의 성능 향상 효과가 있었다. 이에 따라서 우리는 OI가 BBA의 문제점을 해결할 수 있다는 결론을 내리고자 한다. Traditional softwares using BBA(Black Box Abstraction) paradigm may show performance degradations under unpredicted situations. OI(Open Implementation) is proposed to solve the problem of BBA. While conserving the advantages of the BBA, the OI provides clients with interfaces to control the strategy of the modules, and thus makes the modules to be flexible and reusable to various situations and requests. In this paper we are trying to solve the problem of the buffer cache in the operating systems using the OI. We propose a buffer cache design which can support multiple buffer replacement policy. The buffer replacement policy can be controlled by client using provided meta-interface. We modify the kernel of Linux to get performance results. According to our performance evaluation on Linux, the performance is increased up to 36 % in some cases. We conclude that the OI can be a solution to the drawbacks of the BBA.
Studies on the Manufacture Properties of SPC (Sulfur Polymer Cement) Concrete using Coal Bottom Ash

In this work, we constructed the sulfur polymer cement(SPC) concrete using coal bottom ash from 4 thermal power stations in korea and investigated their practical data for production of industrial construction compounds. To manufacture the SPC concrete, we used batch concrete mixer with the heating jacket using hot oil. Also, coal bottom ash was used as a fine aggregate below 2 mm. When the SPC concrete were produced with diverse sulfur concentration (15, 20, 25, 30 wt%), compressive strength properties were analyzed. We got the compressive strength of the maximum 60 MPa. These experimental results could be effectively applied to the recycling technology of coal bottom ash.

The ring expansion chemistry is one of the most important methods to prepare five-and six-membered heterocylic compounds. We have studied about γ-lactam ring expansion with stereoselectivity from β-lactam derivative. To do this chemistry, proton of N-benzyl group in β-lactam derivatives is eliminated by LDA and make carbanion.This anion make unstable 4-membered lactam intermediate, and then the ring is opened by homo clevage or hetero cleavage for releasing ring strain, followed by recyclization to one carbon to make γ-lactam ring with stereoselectivity in β-, γ- positions.

본 연구에서는 열분석법을 이용하여 혼합 액체연료의 수치해석에 필요한 여러 가지 인자를 측정하였다. 이러한 열분석법에는 열중량 분석방법(TGA, Thermo-Gravimetric Analyzer)과 시차 주사열량 측정법(DSC, Differential Scanning Calorimetry)이 있다. 열중량 분석방법을 통한 비등온 실험(non-isothermal experimental) 결과를 토대로 Freeman Carroll의 수학적인 후처리 방법을 이용하여 미지의 액체연료의 구성 성분에 대한 동역학적 변수인 활성화 온도와 반응차수로 각각 6128.2 K와 1.4를 얻었다. 그 외 다양한 수학적 처리 방법에 따른 동역학적 변수의 값을 구해보았고, 계산 결과는 처리방법에 따라 약간의 차이를 보였다. Thermal Analyses are conducted to measure various factors of a liquid fuel required for numerical analysis. Thermal Analyses are divided into two different methods of TGA (Thermo Gravimetric Analysis) and DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry). Non-isothermal experimental results are analyzed using by TGA. The results are filtered by a Freeman Carroll method. At the same time, chemical parameters of unknown liquid fuel, activation temperature and reaction order are measured to 6128.2 K and 1.4, respectively. Furthermore, the parameters can be obtained by various mathematical methods. It is found that tha parameters depend on the processing method.

In this study, we examined the liquid carbonation reaction using recycled aggregates as an industrial by-products. This research deals with carbon fixation with a precipitation reaction utilizing 5 wt% and 30 wt% alkanolamine absorbents in an aqueous calcium oxide solution. Unlike carbon fixation operated at high temperature and pressure that consumes a lot of energy, we conducted experiments at moderate temperature (303.15 K) and pressure (1 atm). By adding calcium oxide solution into the carbon dioxide saturated solution, carbonated recycled aggregate was formed. To verify the physical properties of products, XRD analysis was performed and SEM images were obtained.
