In this paper, we apply the embedded Linux to monitor the status of industrial inverter, which is for controlling the motor of hydraulic elevator. And we implement the monitoring board using an embedded web server in which embedded Linux is running inside. The monitoring board is based on ARM7TDMI and has Ethernet controller to connect internet. The web-based monitoring system using embedded Linux can reduce the cost, and have flexibility both of technical issues and locations of the system to be monitored. The system shows the feasibility of remote monitoring system based on embedded web server running as a daemon in embedded Linux.

The effects of Ca addition on the liquid oxidation behaviors of AZ91 alloys have been investigated. The oxide layers formed on the molten Ca-containing AZ91 alloys were investigated by using scanning electron microscope and Auger electron spectroscopy in order to elucidate the effect of Ca additions on the ignition and burning of the molten alloys. The thermogravimetric measurements indicated that Ca-containing AZ91 alloys have good oxidation resistance. AES depth analysis revealed that the oxide layers on the molten Ca-containing AZ91 alloys consisted of several layers; the outer layer mainly consisted of CaO and the inner layer was mainly a mixture of CaO-MgO and Al₂O₃. The formation of protective CaO in the oxide layer was directly responsible for improved oxidation resistance of the Ca-containing AZ91 alloys.
화학문제의 요구주의력과 학습자의 기능적 정신용량과의 관계

이 연구에서는 100명의 인문계 고등학생을 대상으로 화학양론과 관련된 문제의 해결에서, 과제의 요구주의력 결정 방법과 학습자의 덩이지식화 정도가 화학문제의 요구주의력과 학습자의 기능적 정신용량과의 관계에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 과제에 포함된 조작스키머 종류의 수를 그 과제의 요구주의력으로 보는 것이 가장 타당함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 학습자의 덩이지식화 정도가 과제의 요구주의력과 학습자의 기능적 정신용량과의 관계에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변인이며, Pascual-Leone의 이론으로부터 가정할 수 있는 임계상황이 나타나지 않는 중요한 이유임을 알 수 있었다. The puprpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the way determining mental demand of the problem and the extent of chunking of the learner on the relations between the mental demand of the problem and mental capacity of the students in solving chemical stoichiometry problems of 11th grade students. It was found that the number of types of operative scheme included in the problem was considered the mental demand of the problem. It was also found that the extent of chunking of the learner was one of the important factors influencing on the relations between the mental demand of the problem and mental capacity of the students in solving chemical stoichiometry problems.
EIA-709.1 Control Network Protocol을 이용한 필드버스 시스템 구현

EIA-709.1 Control Network Protocol is the basic protocol of LonWorks systems that is emerging as a fieldbus device. In this paper, the protocol is implemented by using VHDL with FPGA and C program on an Intel 8051 processor. The protocol from the physical layer to the network layer of EIA-709.1 is implemented in a hardware leval. So it decreases the load of the CPU for implementing the protocol. We verify the commercial feasibility of the hardware through the communication test with Neuron Chip, based on EIA-709.1 protocol, which is used in industrial fields. The developed protocol based on FPGA becomes one of IP and we are able to implement SOC for the terminal device in the distributed control systems. Also, the result can be applicable to various industrial field because it is implemented by VHDL.

Ultrathin film of 100Å-order is fabricated by Langmuir-Blodgett technique. By measure of UV-vis spectra and capacitance, deposition status was confirmed together with the thickness of natural oxidized aluminum film inside a device and dielectric constant of (N-docosyl pyridinium)-TCNQ(1:2) complex. The conductivity of this film measured by the direction of either vertical or horizontal axis is results in a quite different value.

This paper discusses a real time multi-tasking system model and a development environment for an elevator control system. Recently, as the elevator systems become large-scaled and operate with high speed, there are lots of software tasks to be processed with time constraints. Thus, the control systems are designed with distributed control structure and characteristics of typical real time systems. For structural design of such real time system, we introduce a multi-tasking model based on a real time operating system model and an software development environment based on virtual prototyping which simulates real system operation in the cross development environment. The developed system model and the development environment are successfully applied to development of a new elevator system with distributed control structure and its system reliability can be verified through numerous field tests.

저전압 박막 EL소자를 위한 PLT 절연막의 기판온도에 따른 전기적 특성

To be drived at low voltage thin film EL device(TFEL), PLT insulating layer was fabricated on an ITO coated glass by rf magnetron sputtering with 30mTorr of working pressure. And its electrical characteristics dependence on substrate temperature were studied. From the results, it can be concluded that electrical characteristics of PLT insulating layer were dependent on substrate temperature largely. Its highest figure of merit was about 384 at 500℃ substrate temperature. And from the analysis of Q-V hysterisis characteristics, remnant polarization(2P_r) and coersive electric field(2E_c) were 3.6μQ/㎠ and 170kV/cm, respectively.
