        헬리코박터 파이로리 균 진단용 ^13C-요소 캅셀의 개발

        The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea- containing capsule for diagnosis of H. pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG/citric acid (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value, about 16 at 20 mim, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable preparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

      • 가토에서 일측 요관 부분 및 완전폐색시 신장과 요관의 조직학적 변화

        This study was designed to clarify histologic changes in the experimental rabbit kidney and ureter after unilateral partial or complete ureteral obstruction. A total of 20 adult white rabbits were divided into 4 subgroups in the partial obstruction followed by 2 weeks, the partial obstruction followed by 4 weeks, the complete obstruction followed by 2 weeks, and the complete obstruction followed by 4 weeks. The normal control group was consisted of 5 adult white rabbits. The kidneys and ureters for light microscopy were fixed in 10% neutral formalin, embedded in paraffin and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. Abnormal histologic fingings showed in ipsilateral kidney and ureter of all subgroups(such as dilatation of uriniferous tubule, focal necrosis and desquamation of epithelium, interstitial fibrosis, glomerular congestion, widening of Bowman's space, dilatation of ureter, epithelial cell atrophy or loss, interstitial fibrosis and interstitial inflammation). These findings were most severe in the group of the complete-obstructed ureter for 4 weeks. No significant changes showed in contralateral ureter of all subgroups. The degree of obstruction was severe and period of obstruction was long, the histological changes in ipsilateral side were severe. Despite of changes in ipsilateral side no abnormal findings showed in contralateral side. We suggest that long term experimental investigation of histologic changes in ipsilateral side and compensatory changes in contralateral side have to be studied.

        Effects of Extrusion Conditions on Pasting Properties of Potato and Potato : Wheat Flour Mixture

        The purpose of this study was to develop extrusion process of fresh potato and to study the effects of extrusion condition on the pasting properties of extruded potato products. The blend of pressed potato and wheat flour and pressed potatoes were extruded at different die exit temperatures (110-160℃) and screw speed of 100 rpm using a twin-screw extruder with conveying, high and low shear screw configuration. The viscosity-related parameters, such as peak viscosity, through, final viscosity, peak time, and pasting temperature of the feed materials and extruded products, were studied using a rapid visco analyzer (RVA). Their water solubility index (WSI) and water absorption index (WAI) were also studied. The peak viscosity, through, final viscosity, and peak time of pressed potato extrudates and potato-wheat flour mixture extrudates decreased as die exit temperature increased. The WSI and WAI of potato products increased as die exit temperature increased. When high shear screw configuration was used, the values of viscosity-related parameters were lower than those when low shear screw configuration was used. The potato-wheat flour mixture products obtained different degrees of depolymerization from fresh potatoes and wheat flour depending on die exit temperature and screw configuration.

        This study was to investigate the influence of the isokinetic trunk training with different load speed on the bone mineral density. Y University male students were recruited as subjects and the isokinetic trunk extension and bone mineral density were measured three times every third week. The results of this study were as follows. 1. at 30。 /sec of load speed, the trunk extension of low speed training group (LTG) and compound speed training group (CTG) was increased significantly than that of the high speed training group (HTG) after three weeks of the training. 2. at 60。 /sec of load speed, the trunk extension of CTG was increased significantly than those of the LTG and HTG. 3. at 90。 /sec of load speed, the trunk extension of HTG was increased significantly than those of the CTG and LTG. 4. at 120。 /sec of load speed, the trunk extension of CTG was increased significantly than those of the LTG and HTG. 5. at 150。 /sec of load speed, the trunk extension of LTG and CTG was increased significantly than that of the HTG. 6. the increase of trunk extension did not affect the bone mineral density of L2, L3, and L4.

      • SCM 21 鋼의 表面缺陷形狀이 疲勞龜裂博播에 미치는 影響

        In this study, the auther investigated propagation behavior of surface Cracks which initiated and propagated from machined defect specimens of SCM 21 which have each other different shape of surface defects. The results are follows. 1. In general, the crack shape was approximately semi-elliptical with the growth the crack. 2. The deeper depth of surface defect, the faster crack length propagation rate than crack depth propagation rate at the beginning but propagation rate of length and depth is similar to increasing the number of repeating load. 3. The shallower depth of surface defect is, the later surface crack are initiated. 4. When the initial surface crack aspect ratio is in the range of 5~6, the initial surface crack is propagated from quter surface to inner surface under the range. In case that ratio is lager than the range, crack is propagated to outer surface.

        Uncertainty analysis is the prediction of the uncertainty which should be associated with an experimental result, based on observations of the scatter in the data used in calculating the result. I analyzed the uncertainty of the boundary layer data which is measured by means of I-type wire probe and slanted-type wire probe, after I set up the 2-D flat plate in the wind tunnel of the turbulent flow state. The total uncertainty of slanted-type wire for U is as two times greater than that of I-type wire for U and the total uncertainty of slanted-type wire for ?? is as fifteen times greater than that of I-type wire for ??. Consequently, I would know that the data of I-type wire probe is more uniform and less than that of the data of slanted-type wire probe.

        In these days, as rapid growth of multimedia industries and development of techniques, an effort to develop DAVIC(Digital Audio-Visual Council) systems which support multimedia services such as VOD(Video on Demand) and teleshopping is being done. Therefore it will be indispensable to establish a new conformance testing method related DAVIC system with respect to their standard specification. DSM-CC is a core part of DAVIC and adopts DSM-CC U-N for S3 information stream which plays a part in connection establishment and release of session and transmission layer, and DSM-CC U-U for S2 which operates user application of the system. In this paper, we propose a new conformance testing architecture and methodology based on scenario in order to test DSM-CC U-U which doesn't have any message sequences.
