        A Study on the Pressure Distribution of an Infinite-Width Journal Bearing by Using Finite Element Method By using the finite element method, pressure distribution of a infinite-width journal bearing is studied. Reynold's equation applied to Variational Principle and the solution of the approprite matrix equation is calculated by computer. The results of this study is summarized as follows: 1. The circumferential pressure distribution obtained by F.E.M. almost coincides with the theoretical solution. 2. In the circumferential pressure distribution obtained by F.E.M., the small eccentricity ratio(ε) is far more exact than the large eccentricity ratio. 3. The more it increases the number of unknown constants and of elements, the more it coincides with the theoretical solution in the circumferential pressure distribution.

        A new image analysis technique was introduced to measure fiber length and coarseness. Using a commercial software of KS 400 and glass sides with transferred fibers, the new techniques quite quickly measured three mean fiber lengths such as arithmetic, length-weighted and weight-weighted length as well as fiber coarseness. It was confirmed by measurement of synthetic fibers with known length that the image analysis techniques was considerably not only reliable but also reproducible.

        수부화상의 이차적 치료

        A functionless hand resulting from the sequalae of a thermal burn is very serious. It prevents restoration of socioeconomic behavior. Since the magnitude of this problem is rewards for the most deligent and competent primary care greater. It can not be emphasized too strongly the result of good primary care are always superior to what one can expect from secondary restoration. The pathogenesis of the functionless hand is caused by a triad of factors resulting from thermal injury that together lead to the rapid stiffening of joints and adhesion of tendons. This triad of factors is edema, inflammation, and immobilization. (Beasley, 1981) Thus, the principles for primary care of burned hands leading to rapid recovery and minimal complications are now established and many kinds of methods are proposed. But, despite much effort, many circumstances prevent ideal primary care and we are still confronted with the need for secondary repairs. Secondary repair of burned hands requires a careful, cojmprehensive and individualized plan for each patien, and with due respect to all the patient's problems. We reviewed 42 cases of the postburn hand deformities which were operated on in our Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 1976 to 1981.

        Developmental anomalies of the aortic arch, commonly known as vascular rings, are relatively rare congenital vascular anomalies which can compress the trachea and esophagus. One routine chest film of a patient who was checked and hepatoma-diagnosed in Internal Medicine, Chosun University Hospital left the room for doubt of mediastinal mass. But no subjective symptoms for the mass was told by the patient. This is to report our experience of a patient having right side aortic arch with aberrant left subclavian artery, as proved by diagnosis, but none of congenital heart disease. This right side aortic arch with aberrant left subclavian artery is the most frequent type among right aortic arch, the anomaly of which is usually detected from the incidental suspicion for mediastinal mass at routine chest film; because no symptoms are accompanied therewith.

        When we consider the factore with regard to the kind of the melted metal and the melted condition arising from the food, the results are as follows. 1) The non-coating can causes the melted metal to increae in quantity 2) The rising of PH brings about the increase in quantity of melted metal. 3) The present state arising from abnormal melted metal depends upon whether NO3- or NO2- is being in exist or not 4) Not only the quantity but the condition of melted metal causes the poisoning state to change.

        Electronic Commerce(EC) is rapidly spreading on the Internet. For supporting EC, we need more necessity of electronic payments. Especially, most of EC on the Internet is small accounts(micro-payments), so electronic payment system must suit to dealing (or micro-payments. Lots of micro-payment system are studied and developed. Most of electronic micro-payments protocol have studied on the base of electronic money. But, owing to lack of understanding and difficulty to fit real practical situation it may be premature to apply practical Internet environment. We propose an electronic micro-payments protocol for information goods. Our protocol is acted on basis of bank account, so it is easy to apply on Internet for EC.

      • 자기구성 퍼지 제어기법에 의한 수직다관절(AMI)로봇의 위치 및 속도 제어

        본 연구에서는 산업용 로봇 시스템의 정밀도 및 견실성을 향상시키기 위하여 자기구성 퍼지제어 알고리즘을 개발하여 디지털 신호 처리기에 기초한 관절제어기를 설계하고 이의 실시간 제어실현에 대한 연구가 수행되었다. 제안된 자기구성 퍼지 제어기는 적절한 제어입력을 출력하면서 환경을 관측하고 이 제어입력으로 인한 결과를 이용하여 다음에 나올 결과를 향상시킨다. 그러므로 자기구성 퍼지 제어기를 이용하면 환경에 대한 최소의 정보만을 가지고도 견실 제어기를 설계할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 조정인자와 규칙을 동시에 수정하여 제어규칙이 점근적으로 수렴하면서 수렴속도를 향상시킬 수 있는 자기구성 퍼지 제어기를 제안하였다. 제안된 자기구성 퍼지 제어기는 위에서 언급한 바와 같이 퍼지 제어기의 단점을 보완하는 측면이 있기 때문에 성능향상을 기대할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 퍼지추론기능과 퍼지규칙 조정능력을 갖는 퍼지 알고리즘을 개발하고 외부환경의 변화 즉, 제어대상인 플랜트의 파라미터변화 및 부하의 변동에 대해서도 능동적이고 우수한 제어성능이 유지될 수 있는 고정도 산업용 로봇 제어기 설계기법을 제안하고, 수직다관절(AM1)로봇에 대한 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 그 성능을 검증하였다. In this paper, it is presented a new technique to the design and real-time implementation of fuzzy control system based-on digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness for system of industrial robot. Fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the real of industrial processes. In this thesis, a self-organizing fuzzy controller for the industrial robot manipulator with a actuator located at the base is studied. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variable of the controller, In the synthesis of a FLC, one of the most difficult problems is the determination of linguistic control rules from the human operators. To overcome this difficult, SOFC is proposed for a hierarchical control structure consisting of basic level and high level that modify control rules.

      • 키틴질의 화학적 변환과 응용에 관한 고찰

        Chitin is a Polysaccharide constituted of β-(1→4)2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucose units. This natural polymer can be formally considered a derivative of cellulose where the C-2 hydroxyl groups have been completely replaced by acetamide groups, and chitosan is its N-deacetylated products. Chitin is a main component of crab and shrimp shells, which are abandoned from their food processing, and is the second most plentiful natural polymer. The chemical modifications and applications of chitin and chitosan have been studied for several years in many different parts. In this study, the present situation and future prospect on the application of chitin and chitosan were discussed from a view point of the molecular design by chemical modifications.

      • 漁貝類의 色素에 關한 硏究 : 1. 진주담치의 CAROTENOID 1. Carotenoids in Sea Mussel, Mytilus edulis

        In this study, Carotenoids of the sea mussel, Mytilus edulis, were separated on micro-cel C column and thin layer slides, and analyzed by spectrophotometry. In case of column chromatography, pigments were separated with acetone-petroleum ether solution, starting with 7% and ending with 20%. The separation was fairly good although some xanthophylls remained inseparated on the top of the column. On the micro-cel C thin layer slide, however, they were easily separated by the mixture solvent of dichloromethane, ethylacetate, and acetone(14:5:1:v/v). From the results, beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, and astacene were identified and a band was assumed mytiloxanthin. Some other bands were also isolated but remained unindentified because their spectral data and chromatographic behaviour were often unidentical comparing that of authentic pigments. The results also suggested that xanthophylls or their esters are dominant in sea mussel whereas carotenes are minor in both variety and quantity.
