메추리알의 저장성 향상에 대한 세척 및 저장 조건의 효과

메추리알의 저장성 향상을 위하여 세척수의 온도와 pH, 세척후의 mineral oil coating, 저장중 공기의 상대습도(RH)와 CO₂의 영향을 비교하였다. 메추리알의 품질특성은 난황계수, Haugh unit, 중량감소를 측정하였다. 그 결과 세척수 온도 50℃와 pH 11.0의 KOH 용액이 수돗물이나 pH 3.5의 lactic acid 용액으로 세척한 것보다 저장성 향상에 효과가 있었다. 환경기체조건을 상대습도 70%와 3.0% CO₂ 농도로 조절한 것은 상대습도 80%와 2.0% CO₂의 조건보다 저장 기간을 50% 이상 연장 시켰다. 또한 mineral oil로 coating 처리할 경우 50℃에서 알칼리 용액으로 세척한 후 상대습도 70% 및 3.0% CO₂ 조건에서 저장하는 것보다 54% 가량 저장성 향상에 효과가 있었다. 이러한 조건에서 저장온도를 4℃로 낮출 경우 3개월 이상의 저장이 가능하였으며 선정된 세척 및 환경기체 조건은 저장 중 메추리알의 무게의 감소도 크게 낮춰 주었으며, 특히 mineral oil coating은 무처리구와 비교할 때 2.5배 이상 무게감소를 억제하는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. Effects of pH and temperature of the washing water, mineral oil coating, and PH and CO₂consentration for storage were investigated to extend the shelf-life of quail eggs. The quality characteristics of quail eggs measured were yolk index(YI), Haugh unit(HU) and weight loss. The results showed that KOH-adjusted washing water of pH 11.0 at 50℃ were effective on the improvement of storage stability of the eggs. Comtrolled atmosphere of RH 70.0% and 3.0% CO₂resulted in prolonged shelf-life by 50% when it was compared to the condition RH 80.0% and 2.0% CO₂. Coating the eggs with mineral oil extended futher the shelf-life up to 54%. combined treatments of washing at 50℃ and pH 11.0, coating with mineral oil, and controlling the atmosphere at RH 70.0% and 3.0% CO₂ extended the shelf-life more than 4 monts during storage at 4℃. The wight loss of the eggs during storage was significantly reduced by the storage at above condition and treatment particularly storing at 4℃.

A meander microstrip antenna was designed to operate in the UHF and microwave bands. Laser direct structuring (LDS) and the flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) method were used to fabricate the antenna, and their results were compared. A dual-band low-power-consumption active radio frequency identification (RFID) tag based on the present antenna was developed and fabricated for an automated subway vehicle maintenance system. The recognition distance of the active tag is more than 20 m at 900 ㎒ and more than 170 m at 2.4 ㎓, while the recognition rate is >95% at 900 ㎒ and 100% at 2.4 ㎓. The 100% recognition rate was obtained when the RFID readers were placed in a line parallel to the subway track. Therefore, we have shown that our active RFID tag can be used in a subway vehicle management system.

Photovoltaic and wind power generation have an advantage of unlimited and unpolluted amount of energy resource.<br/> In conventional wind generation systems, since the blade rotates at low speed when the velocity of wind decreases their operations are possible only under limited conditions.<br/> Therefore they are in trouble of<br/> self-generation without the help of auxiliary generation devices outside.<br/> The system driven by the wind force in this paper consists of a generator, an invertor, batteries and sets for power storage with a spring. In this paper, the operation characteristics of system were analyzed through experiments for a trial product.

Klebsiella pneumoniae가 생산하는 Glutamine synthetase의 정제 및 특성

K. pneumoniae의 nif 유전자 발현에 미치는 glnA산물(GS)의 영향을 살펴보기 앞서 K. pneumoniae의 GS를 분리·정제하여 그 성질을 조사하였다. K. pneumoniae의 GS는 분자량 약 600,000의 12개 동일 subunit으로 구성되어져 있으며 최적 반응 pH 및 온도는 각기 pH 7.0, 37℃였고 pH5∼8 사이에서 활성의 변화가 크지 않았으며 57℃에서 10분간 열처리할 때 50%의 활성 감소가 나타났다. 또 암모니아 농도의 변화에 따라 adenylylation-deadenylylation 기작에 의한 활성조절기작이 E. coli GS와 동일 했으며 anti-E. coli GS 항체를 이용한 immunodiffusion에서도 K. pneumoniae GS가 E. coli GS와 혈청학적으로 매우 유사함이 드러났다. Glutamine synthetase (GS) of Klebsiella pneumoniae was purified and identified it's properties. It was determined to be composed of 12 identical subunits and it's molecular weight was about 600,000. It's optimum pH and temperature were identified as pH 7.0 and 37℃ respectively, and also there was no considerable variation of activity between pH 5 and 8. When GS was incubated at 57℃ for 10 min, it's activity was decreased to half of maximum activity. It was observed that K. pneumoniae has adenylylation-deadenylylation system which regulates activity of GS according to the quality and quantity of nitrogen source like GS of E. coli. Also it's GS was very similar to that of E. coli. in structure deduced from the immunodiffusion experiment using anti-E. coli GS antibody.

Recent1y, the nano-PM(Particulate Matters) number concentration emitted by diesel internal combustion engine has focused on attention because this nano-PM is suspected being hazardous of human health. In this study, the PM of the diesel passenger vehicles were investigated by number concentration. A condensation particle counter (CPC) system was used to measure the particle number concentration and size of diesel exhaust particles at the end of dilution tunnel during the NEDC(ECE15+EUDC) vehicle test mode using light-duty diesel passenger vehicles with DPFs. As a research result, the characteristic of DPF performance about diesel nano-particle number concentration and size distribution was investigated in this study.
