        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

        Intentional Replantation에 의한 상악 제 1 소구치 치료의 증례보고

        Intentional replantation of the posterior teeth has been performed as a last resort except extraction when it is impossible to perform the conventional endodontic or surgical endodontic treatment. Many studies have done with the prognosis, and root resorption, of which the responsibility might have been injury of periodontal ligament and remaining periodontal lesion, proved to be major cause of failure. Intentional replantation, however, can exclude anatomic difficulty, risk of nerve injury, and maxillary sinus trauma that surgical access can raise, especially in posterior teeth, and it is reported that success rate is not less than surgical endodontics, independent of replantation of traumatically avulsed teeth. The success of intentional replantation can be evaluated with, clinically, ruduction of pocket depth, pain and mobility(physical mobility), and, radiographically, hard tissue formation, reduction of periapical radiolucency. In this case report, for the maxillary left first bicuspid with dens evaginatus that had periapical lesion, painfulness, mobility and showed no reduction of mobility after even extirpation and a number of irrigation, extraction followed by extraoral root filling with calcium hydroxide and replantation was performed. Based on many studies, it is concluded that hard tissue formation capacity of calcium hydroxide, preceded exterpation before extraction, and careful extraction without injuring periodontal ligament affected successful results of this case.

        톨루엔 노출 근로자에서 요중마뇨산 배설농도로 평가한 호흡보호구 착용효과에 관한 연구

        목적 : 보호구 착용 효과에 대한 실제적, 구체적자료를 제시함으로서 예방목적의 보호구 사용에 대한 근로자들의 인식을 제고시키기 위함이다. 방법 : 서울시내에 소재한 일부 그라비아 인쇄소에서 톨루엔이 함유된 잉크 및 희석제를 취급하는근로자 26명을 대상으로 본 연구를 수행하였다. 유기가스용 방독마스크 미착용 상태와 유기가스용 방독마스크 착용후 작업환경 중 톨루엔 개인노출농도와 요중 마뇨산 시간별 농도를 측정, 비교하였다. 결과 : 그라비아 인쇄소의 공기중 톨루엔 개인노출농도는 유기가스용 방독마스크 미착용일과 착용일에서 각각 147.52+57.34 ppm 및 134.55+52.44ppm으로 통계학적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 방독마스크 미착용일파 착몽일의 작업종료 후 요중 마뇨산 농도의 기하평균값은 각각 1.5) 10.33:1 g/L 및0.49(0.14) 하였으며 두 일간에 유의한 차이를 보였단. 방독마스크 미착용일에서 요중 마뇨산 농도는 근무시작 4시간 후(오후 작업시작전, 13:00)부터 유의하게 증가하기 시작하였으며, 착용일에서는 근무종료시까지 유의한 증가를 보이지 않았다. 유기가스용 방독마스크 착용 효과를 톨루엔 대사산물인 요중마뇨산 농도로 평가하면 착용시 농도가 미착용시에비하여 89.3% 감소하였다. 보호구 미착용일에 있어서 공기중 톨루엔 개인노출농도와 요중 마뇨산 농도는 유의한 상관성을 나타났으며 회귀방정식은 Y(요중 마뇨산, g/L) =0. OO7x (공기중 톨루엔, ppm)+0.665로 계산되었다. 결론 : Fit Test등 올바른 보호구 착용 교육을 통한 전 작업시간에 걸친 유기가스용 방독마스크 보호구 착용은 직업적인 톨루엔 노출의 호흡기 흡수를거의 대부분 차단하였다. Objectives : This study was carried out in order to raise workers' recognition of the effects of respirator use by providing concrete and practical data. Methods : Twenty-six workers who dealt with toluene based ink and diluents at a gravure printing office in Seoul were investigated. The toluene exposure level and urinary hippuric acid level were monitored under respirator non-wearing (RNW) and under respiratory wearing (RW) conditions. Results : The mean concentrations of toluene exposed to each worker through the air of gravure printing office were 147.52±57.34 and 134.55±52.44 ppm on respirator non-wearing day and respirator wearing day, respectively. There was no significant difference in toluene exposure concentration for the two days. The mean concentration of urinary hippuric acid in RNW and RW groups were 1.51 (0.53) g/L and 0.49 (0.14) g/L, respectively, as measured at the end of the workday. There was a significant difference seen in urinary hippuric acid concentration between the two days. The urinary hippuric acid concentration began to increase at 4 hours after the start of the workday (13:00) in RNW. However, there was no significant increase until the end of the workday in the case of RW. The urinary hippuric acid concentration in RW reduced 89.3% as compared with the concentration seen in RNW. There was a significant correlation between the toluene concentration and the urinary hippuric acid concentration in RNW. The regression equation was Y (urinary hippuric acid concentration, g/L) = 0.007 ×χ(toluene concentration in the air, ppm) + 0.665. Conclusions : Our results indicate that the respirator intercepted most toluene that may have been absorbed Into the respiratory organs, and suggested that properly wearing a respiratory such as wearing the respirator during the entire workday and performing a proper fit test played an important role in the protection from toluene exposure

      • 수산물 가공폐수 슬러지의 퇴비화 반응특성과 악취 발생

        A series of laboratory experiment was conducted to find out the effects of air flow rates on the reaction characteristics and the odorous gas generation in composting of fishery waste sludge. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. To obtain the more effective results of fermentation temperature, air flow rate should be controlled and operated in the range of 50-100ℓ/hr.㎥. 2. The contents of organic matters, water contents, and organic nitrogen in compost were decreased with the progress of composting. Actual changes of nitrogen in the fishery waste sludge showed the different tendency to changes of organic nitrogen in the common waste sludge. The loss of nitrogen in compost was highest with the lapse of composting time and its loss in 4weeks after composting was 50%. 3. The C/N ratios were increased rapidly within 2weeks and thereafter the C/N ratios were decreased slightly with the lapse of composting time. The final value of C/N ratio was 10.8. 4. The concentration of odorous gases were the highest in the initial periods, thereafter gradually decreased until 28 says after composting. But ammonia gas was the highest at 14 days after composting, thereafter gradually decreased. The highest amount of hydrogen sulfide was dominantly evolved from fishery waste sludge.

        This investigation were carried out to find the trophic level in Suo˘­Dam Lake and to suggest the implementation data of control strategies. The results obtained are as follows. The experimental data of water quality in Suo˘­Dam lake showed that the level of water quality was 2nd class. The trophic state in Suo˘­Dam Lake was mesotrophic to compare with the eutrophication level of OCED and Carlson index. Total phosphorus and chlorophyll­α showed a close relationship, which may be represented as log 〔Chl―α〕=log〔T―P〕^0.99+log 194.1

      • 不飽和흐름식을 利用한 有機性廢棄物로부터 Biogas 發生豫測

        The increase of population and expansion of urban area cause the generation of municipal solid wastes(MSW), which makes the content of organic materials in waste drastically increased. The landfills have been widely used as a disposal method of waste materials. Prediction of production of landfill gas after landfilling is not easy because it is strongly dependent on the hydrological and biological parameters. Recently, computer programs based on these parameters have been developed to estimate gas production and leachate quality. In this study, LEAGA-Ⅰmodel was proposed on the basis of considering both unsaturated flow module and bioloigical module. Sensitivity analysis was carried out to examine model performance under various values of input parameters. It is noted that the proposed model is provided more reasonable prediction of gas production during landfill stabilization. The hydrolysis rate constant played the most important factor in predicting the gas production. The model using variable flow based on unsaturated flow equation was more reasonable compared to using contant flow.

        지연성 운동장애와 양성, 음성 정신분열병 환자에서의 인지기능 장애

        저자들은 정신분열병 환자에서 양성, 음성 증후군에 따라 각각 특징적으로 어떤 인지기능의 장애를 보이는지 알아보며, 또 지연성 운동장애의 존재 여부가 인지기능에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 조사해보고자 지연성 운동장애 환자 31명과 대조군 32명에게 PANSS 검사를 시행하였고, 인지기능 검사로는 KWIS 검사와 Grooved Pegboard test, Trail making test A/B, Wisconsin card sorting test, Wecshler memory scale을 시행하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. 1) KWIS 지능검사상 이해 소검사에서 양성 증후군 환자들이 음성 증후군에 비해 우수한 수행도를 보였으며 빠진 곳 찾기 소검사에서는 지연성 운동장애가 없는 집단이 있는 집단에 비해 우수한 수행도를 보였다. 2) Trail making test A형에서 양성 정신분열병 환자 집단이 음성 정신분열병 환자 집단에 비해 전반적으로 빠르고 효율적인 수행을 보였다. 3) 그밖의 다른 인지기능 검사상에서는 양성, 음성 정신분열병과 지연성 운동장애 유무에 따른 검사 결과의 차이는 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로 음성 증후군 환자들의 경우 양성 증후군에 환자들에 비해 실행 기능과 같은 전두엽 기능의 장애와 기억 능력의 저하가 좀더 분명하게 나타나 음성 증상과 인지기능 장애 사이에 통계적으로 의미있는 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 지연성 운동장애의 경우는 음성 증후군과 함께 나타날 때만 현실 검증력, 주의력의 저하가 두드러져서 지연성 운동장애 자체만으로 인지기능의 장애가 유발된다고 보기는 어려웠다. Objective : The goal of this study was to examine cognitive dysfunctions in positive and negative schizophrenic patients and investigate the effect of tardive dyskinesia on cognitive dysfunctions in them. Methods : Thirty two schizophrenic patients with tardive dyskinesia and thirty two schizophrenic patients without tardive dyskinesia as a control group were selected from psychiatric inpatients at a lunatic asylum and the cognitive dysfunctions of these patients were assessed with some neuropsychological tests including KWIS test, Grooved Pegboard test, Trail making test A and B, Wisconsin card sorting test, and Wechsler memory scale test. From these patients, we classified eighteen schizophrenic patients as a positive syndrome group and twenty five patients as a negative syndrome group with positive and negative syndrome scale and compared the results of neuropsychological tests between these two groups. Results : Patients without tardive dyskinesia showed better performances than those with tardive dyskinesia on picture completion subtest of KWIS. Positive schizophrenic patients showed better performances than negative schizophrenic patients on comprehension subtest of KWIS and trail making test A. Conclusion : Negative schizophrenic patients showed frontal lobe dysfunction and more memory impairment than positive schizophrenic patients. In conclusion, negative syndrome of schizophrenia is significantly associated with cognitive dysfunctions although tardive dyskinesia is not.

        The Purpose of this study is to suggest the effectively Psychological Program that compare and analyze the Player's Psychological condition and Athletic Accomplishment among EEG feedback training for 8 weeks on golf Player. The subjects of this study were 16 golf Player, and separated 2 Group. They have examined Golf Rounding test(Driving Accuracy. Green in Regulation, Putting, Score) at pre and post. For the statistical test. the Paired t-test and independent t-test were conducted. The results of the study are as follows. The EEG feedback training group was significantly differences in Driving Accuracy,(t=-8.871, P<.001) Putting(t=2.333, P<.05) and Score(t=4.117, P<.001), also the Control group was significantly differences in Green in Regulation(t=-5.978, P<.001) and Score(t= 2.516, P<.05). But the EEG feedback training group was not significantly differences in Green in Regulation(t= -1.338, P>.05). also the Control group was not significantly in Driving Accuracy(t=-2.290, P>.05) and Putting(t=-1.413, P>.05).

      • 해수 및 퇴적물 중금속분석의 QA/QC에 관한 연구

        Many results of seawater and sediment metals in the coastal area were reported from various research institutes, but the results were quite different. In order to improve the analysis results, the accurate analysis of heavy metals in seawater and sediments were accomplished by the QA/QC(Quality Assurance/Quality Control) program. The QA/QC programs included sampling, delivery and preservation, sample analysis, and results analysis. The 90 samples of seawater and the 54 sample of sediments were taken from kwangyang Bay in 1997. For the purpose of accuracy, standard reference materials(SRM 1643d) certified from National Institute of Standards and Technology were used in the determination of trace elements of standard samples. The chemicals used in the pretreatment of samples were double distilled PPB/Teflon? grade and ACS grade. The heavy metals in seawater and sediments were analyzed using ICP-MS(Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry) or AFS(Atomic Florescence Spectroscopy).
