        개에서 이중 결찰법을 통한 동맥관 개존증의 완치 예

        A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.

      • 태권도용품 광고가 대학생의 구매행동에 미치는 영향

        This study was intended to identify the effect of advertising for Taekowndo products on college students' purchase behavior. For this purpose, the questionnaire research was conducted for 400 undergraduates enrolled in the department of Taekwondo of 4-year colleges located in Seoul and Kyonggi Province. Of them, 350 college students completed the questionnaire and 324 questionnaires except 26 ones with dishonest responses and some omissions were used for final analysis. One-way ANOVA and co-variate analysis was conducted using Window SPSS/ PC +11.5 Version to investigate the difference in purchase behavior according to demographic characteristics and advertising for Taekwondo products. Based on the findings, the following conclusion was concluded: First, an attempt was made to investigate the difference in purchase behavior of Taekwondo products according to demographic characteristics. As a result, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in purchase behavior according to academic year(P.<05). On the other hand, It was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the purchase behavior of Taekwondo products according to pocket money. Second, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in purchase behavior according to the degree of reference to the content of advertising for Taekwondo products, in which academic year, one demographic factor, had a statistically significant effect on the purchase behavior of Taekwondo products(P.<05). It was found that the degree of' reference to the content of advertising for Taekwondo products exercised an influence on college students' purchase of Taekwondo products by about 0.6%. Third, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in purchase behavior of Taekwondo products according to advertisement media, in which the degree of reference to the content of' advertising for Taekwondo products, and academic year, one demographic factor, had a statistically significant effect on the purchase behavior of Taekwondo products(P.<05). And it was found that the advertising media exercised an influence on college students' purchase of Taekwondo products by about 0.6%. Fourth, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the purchase behavior of Taekwondo products according to the factor on which importance was attached at the time of product purchase.

      • 체중감량전후 혈액성분 및 전해질 농도에 관한 연구

        The aim of this paper is to investigate the variation of physiological function before and after weight reduction. Surveyed were 12 middle and high school wrestlers whose blood composition(RBC, WBC and PLT) and electrolytic concentration(Na^(+) and K^(+)) were analyzed. The findings of the investigation are as follows: 1. After weight reducction, both middle school and high school groups of wrestlers have not shown any statistically significant decrease in RBC, WBC and PLT. 2. After weight reducction, the group of middle school wrestlers didn't reveal any statistically significant decrease in Na^(+) and K^(+), while that of high school wrestlers indicated statistically significant decreases in Na_(+)(p< .10) and K_(+)(p< .05). From these outcomes, it is concluded that further studies shold follow in order to complement this study since there are big differences between individuals in the result of weight reduction and no significant changes in blood composition after weight reduction may be detected from such degree of weight reduction as was made for this experment.

      • 보건관리 대행사업 이후 작업환경 수준의 변화

        This study was performed to evaluate the threshold limit values(TLVs) exceeding rates and periodical changes based on the results from work environmental measurement for 40 factories applied health service program, located in Cheonnan area, from 1995 to 1997. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The hazaed frequency in environmental monitoring were noise(865, 34.4%), illumination(804, 31.9%), dust(205, 8.1%), organic solvent(371, 14.7%), lead(114, 4.5%), and specific chemicals(31, 1.2%), heavy metal(127, 5.0%) in order. 2. The order of TLVs exceeding rate of hazardous agents by type of industries were cement-related manufacture(42.3%), fiber industry(40.0%), food stuff industry(24.3%), metal work industry(21.8%), electronics manufacture (9.9%), other industries(10.2%), chemical industry(7.9%). 3. The mean exceeding rates of hazard by type of industry were 29.5% in noise, 27.3% in dust, 25.8% in specific chemicals, 10.2% in solvent and 7.9% in lead, but none in heavy metal. 4. The average of standardized values of noise divided by TLV were decreased in food stuff industries and chemical industries, but not changed in fiber and cement-related industries. While, the average of standardized values of organic solvents divided by TLVs were decreased in electronic manufacturing industries and other industries.

        흰민들레 (Taraxacum coreanum) 추출물이 급성 수은 중독된 생쥐의 간에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 급성 수은 독성에 대한 민들레의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 시도되었다. 30 g 내외의 생쥐를 대상으로 대조군, 수은(5mg/kg) 투여군, 수은 투여 후 민들레(3 g/kg)를 구강투여 한 후 다시 24, 48, 72, 96시간, 1주일군으로 세분하여 간장 손상 억제 효과를 알아보기 위하여 생화학적 및 조직학적 실험을 실시하였다. 혈액중 aspartate amiotransferase (AST)와 alanine aminotransferase (ALT)의 수치는 민들레 투여군이 수은 투여군보다 감소되었다. 또한 간조직의 SOD와 catalase 활성도 역시 민들레 투여군이 수은 투여군에 비하여 감소하였으나 통계학적 유의성은 없었다. 간 조직의 광학현미경적 관찰에서 심한 조직괴사가 관찰되지만 민들레 투여군에서는 문맥주위의 약간의 괴사와 심한 호중구 침윤현상이 관찰되었다. 전자현미경적 관찰 결과, 간장에서 수은 투여군은 간세포의 핵이 함입되어 불규칙했으며 미토콘드리아와 조면소포체의 수조가 팽대되고, 리보솜의 탈락이 관찰되었다. 민들레 투여군은 핵이 정상적인 상태로 관찰되었고, 전자밀도가 높은 미토콘드리아가 분포되어 있었으며, 리보솜이 부착된 상태로 층판구조를 형성하는 조면소포체가 관찰되었다. 이상의 연구 결과로 보아 민들레가 수은으로 유발된 간손상을 보호하는 효과가 있는 것으로 사료되며 민들레에 대한 다양한 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. Dandelion has been frequently used as a remedy for women’s disease, inflammatory diseases and disorders of the liver and gallbladder. Dandelion extracts water extract, an herbal medication, may have an effect on the activity of hepatic antioxidant enzymes in diabetic rat. This study aims demonstrate the effect of dandelion extracts, one of the natural chelator, on the biochemical and enzyme activity changes in the mouse liver caused by HgCl₂. Mice approximately 30 gm in weight were grouped into the control, mercury chloride-treated, and the dandelion extractstreated after mercury chloride groups. HgCl₂ (5 mg/kg) and dandelion extracts (3 g/kg) were delivered orally. Serum AST and ALT were measured, enzyme activity of liver were examined by spectrophotometer and ultrastructural alteration of liver were examined by light and electron microscopy. Dandelion extracts were decreased the increase of serum AST and ALT level induced by mercury. The catalase activity was decreased in the dandelion extracts group. The activity of SOD was dereased, but did not show significant differences. Mercury chloride-treated hepatic cell were irregular nucleus, enlarged and reduced number of mitochodria, enlarged rough endoplasmic reticulum, loss of ribosomes. Cells treated with dandelion extracts were similar to those of the control group. In conclusion, dandelion extracts may protect the mercury-induced toxicity on Liver.

      • 노즐내 물체의 후류가 아음속 이차원 제트구조에 미치는 영향에 관한 수치해석적 연구

        A turbulent wake generated by a cylinder in nozzle contraction affects to the jet flow characteristics. In this study, a computational work to investigate the effect of the turbulent wake on two-dimensional subsonic jet was carried out with three different kinds of nozzle. computations are applied to the two-dimensional unsteady, Navier-Stokes equations. Several kinds of turbulent models and wall functions are employed to validate the computational predictions. It was known that the wake flow enhanced the spread of the jet flow, compared with no wake flow condition. It was also found that the jet core is shortened by the wake flow developed from a control cylinder.

      • 多點 피토관 流量計의 流量係數 測定에 관한 실험적 연구

        The performance of multi-point Pitot tube flow-meter with diamond shape depending on the combination of upstream double elbows was experimentally studied. Actual flow-rates were measured by using ISA 1932 nozzles which are all standard flow-meters. Based on the measured flow-rates the flow coefficients of the multi-point flow-meter could be obtained. The flow coefficients calculated with all the front four holes open agree very well with those calculated by means of the average coefficient for the all holes. Furthermore, the flow coefficients were quite indifferent to Reynolds number variation for the region of ReD> 5.5×104. It is mostly due to the fact that the straightener installed upstream makes the flow more stable and straight than the case without the straightener ahead of the test section.

      • 실린더 후류를 이용한 2차원 디퓨저 성능개선에 관한 수치해석적 연구

        The present study addresses a computational work to investigate the influence of a turbulent wake flow on the pressure recovery of a two-dimensional subsonic diffuser. The turbulent wake is generated by a cylinder with a small diameter, which is installed at the diffuser inlet. Computation is applied to two-dimensional steady Navier-Stokes equations. The computational results are qualitatively well compared to existing experimental data. The results show that the diffuser pressure recovery is strongly dependent on the diameter and location of the cylinder. It is found that there is a certain diameter and location of cylinder for the diffuser pressure recovery to be most enhanced. Compared with no cylinder case, the diffuser performance increases up 24.

      • 변형 소닉 노즐의 유동 특성에 관한 연구

        The flow characteristics of small sonic nozzles which were manufactured by ISO 9300 and effects of the shape of nozzle on the measurement of flow rate were found by using numerical analysis. The model with 4.48mm of throat diameter was used and shape of sonic nozzle entrance and flat throat nozzle was adapted as a variable to estimate the effect of the shape of nozzle on the flow rate measurement. The flow of the small sonic nozzle was similar to thar of the ideal gas isentropic and the critical pressure ratio was restored to the stagnation pressure due to the effect of the expansion part. The results showed that the discharge coefficient was smaller than ISO 9300 by 2% in case the shape of nozzle entrance was conical, on the other hand, by 3% in case the shape if nozzle throat was the flat part. However, In both of the two cases the characteristics of discharge coefficient was similar to the nozzle of ISO 9300.

      • 실린더 후류를 이용한 아음속 디퓨저 유동의 제어에 관한 연구

It is found that a certain diameter and location of cylinder to generate the turbulent wake give a better pressure recovery, compared with no cylinder flow
