Negatively bounded solutions for a parabolic partial differential equation
Zhong Bo Fang,곽민규 대한수학회 2005 대한수학회보 Vol.42 No.4
In this note, we introduce a new proof of the uniqueness and existence of a negatively bounded solution for a parabolic partial differential equation. The uniqueness in particular implies the finiteness of the Fourier spanning dimension of the global attractor and the existence allows a construction of an inertial manifold.
A NONLINEAR LIOUVILLE THEOREM IN HALF SPACE
ZHONG BO FANG,MINKYU KWAK 한국산업응용수학회 2006 Journal of the Korean Society for Industrial and A Vol.10 No.1
We prove a Liouville theorem of a semilinear elliptic equation: △u+f(xn, u)=0 defined in half space with zero boundary data, here n>2, f satisfies suitable conditions. In fact we show that if u is a nonnegative classical solution, then u becomes identically zero. The result was proved by using the moving plane method and by investigating an ordinary differential equation.
BLOW UP OF SOLUTIONS WITH POSITIVE INITIAL ENERGY FOR THE NONLOCAL SEMILINEAR HEAT EQUATION
ZHONG BO FANG,LU SUN 한국산업응용수학회 2012 Journal of the Korean Society for Industrial and A Vol.16 No.4
In this paper, we investigate a nonlocal semilinear heat equation with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition in a bounded domain, and prove that there exist solutions with positive initial energy that blow up in finite time.
Nonlocal Formulation for Numerical Analysis of Post-Blast Behavior of RC Columns
Zhong-Xian Li,Bo Zhong,Yanchao Shi,Jia-Bao Yan 한국콘크리트학회 2017 International Journal of Concrete Structures and M Vol.11 No.2
Residual axial capacity from numerical analysis was widely used as a critical indicator for damage assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) columns subjected to blast loads. However, the convergence of the numerical result was generally based on the displacement response, which might not necessarily generate the correct post-blast results in case that the strain softening behavior of concrete was considered. In this paper, two widely used concrete models are adopted for post-blast analysis of a RC column under blast loading, while the calculated results show a pathological mesh size dependence even though the displacement response is converged. As a consequence, a nonlocal integral formulation is implemented in a concrete damage model to ensure mesh size independent objectivity of the local and global responses. Two numerical examples, one to a RC column with strain softening response and the other one to a RC column with post-blast response, are conducted by the nonlocal damage model, and the results indicate that both the two cases obtain objective response in the post-peak stage.
LIOUVILLE THEOREMS OF SLOW DIFFUSION DIFFERENTIAL INEQUALITIES WITH VARIABLE COEFFICIENTS IN CONE
ZHONG BO FANG,CHAO FU,LINJIE ZHANG 한국산업응용수학회 2011 Journal of the Korean Society for Industrial and A Vol.15 No.1
We here investigate the Liouville type theorems of slow diffusion differential inequality and its coupled system with variable coefficients in cone. First, we give the definition of global weak solution, and then we establish the universal estimate ( does not depend on the initial value ) of solution by constructing test function. At last, we obtain the nonexistence of non-negative non-trivial global weak solution within the appropriate critical exponent. The main feature of this method is that we need not use comparison theorem or the maximum principle.
Effects of Taxi-Booking Apps of E-Service Quality on Use Intention in China
Zhong-Bo, Guo,Uk-Yeol Park,Jong-Ho Lee 한국유통과학회 2018 The Journal of Industrial Distribution & Business( Vol.9 No.4
Purpose - The purpose of this article is to examine the effects of perceived value, satisfaction, and continued use intention of e-service Quality of taxi-booking apps. Research design, data, and methodology - The questionnaire was created to examine every relevant variables to practical and theoretical implications. The pilot survey was conducted for 15 days from April 7th to April 21st in 2016. Their total numbers were 354 surveys. But 330 copies were used for the analysis except 24 of them. To make a more effective analysis, several analysis tools and analysis programmes were used, such as IBM SPSS and AMOS. Results - The results are as follows. First, all variables of e-service quality except safety make influences on perceived value. Second, e-service quality except safety makes influences on satisfaction. Third, perceived value makes influence on satisfaction and on intention of continued use. Fourth, satisfaction makes influence on intention of continued use. Conclusions - First, 5 variables are very limited. more valuable variables are need to test with this model. Second, this study was conducted only in China. So there may be possible to the representatives. To use this model for better analysis and application abroad, more characteristics and strategic factors should be considered like the local culture of a particular country, attributes for different environment etc.
Serum Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor as a Biomarker of Active Pulmonary Tuberculosis
Zhong-bo Shang,Jun Wang,Shou-gang Kuai,Yin-yin Zhang,Qin-fang Ou,Hao Pei,Li Hua Huang 대한진단검사의학회 2018 Annals of Laboratory Medicine Vol.38 No.1
Background: Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), a pro-inflammatory cytokine with chemokine-like functions, has been shown to play a central role in several acute and chronic inflammatory diseases. However, limited information is available regarding the use of MIF as an inflammatory pathway marker in patients with tuberculosis. This study aimed to investigate the association of MIF with IFN-γ and TNF-α in active pulmonary tuberculosis (APTB) following anti-tuberculosis treatment. Methods: The MIF, TNF-α, and IFN-γ serum levels were determined in 47 patients with APTB by cytokine-specific ELISA at four phases: prior to anti-tuberculosis drug treatment (baseline), and following 2, 4, and 6 months of treatment. In addition, we measured the MIF, TNF-α, and IFN-γ serum levels in 50 health controls. Results: MIF serum levels were significantly elevated (P<0.05) in patients with APTB prior to treatment compared with that in control subjects, and TNF-α ≥449.7 pg/mL was associated with high MIF levels (≥13.1 ng/mL). MIF levels were significantly reduced (P<0.01) following 2, 4, and 6 months of treatment, with variations in TNF-α and IFN-γ serum levels. MIF levels were positively correlated with the paired TNF-α level at baseline (r=0.1103, P=0.0316) and following 6 months of treatment (r=0.09569, P=0.0364).Conclusions: A reduction in the MIF serum levels in patients with APTB following anti-tuberculosis treatment may positively affect host immune protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. Thus, serum MIF levels may constitute a useful marker for assessing therapy effectiveness in patients with APTB.
