Membrane filtration process seems to have many advantages such as improvement of drinking water quality, saving water purification chemicals and operation cost, easier operation and maintenance and saving time and cost for construction of a water purification plant. A study was conducted to optimize the use of a membrane process to produce potable water from Lake water in singal, Kyungkido, South Korea. We try to optimize the process by adjusting different pretreatment, various MWCO(Molecular Weig염(salt), alignate와 같은 천연고분자 또는 ht cut-off), hydrauric conditions.

Sonoring is caused by the repeated obstructions of versatile upper air way structure during sleep and is known as a kind of disease entity varing from simple snoring to obstructive sleep opnea syndrome(OSAS) which can cause serious cardiopulmonary complications due to its hypoxic pathophysiology. It has been reported that over 30% of middle-aged person have the problems of snoring and its accompanied symptomes and signs. Cephalometric measurements, frequently used to measure sella-nasion-subspinale(SNA) and sella-nasion-supramentale(SNB) angles, can provide the informations about the posterior airway space(PAS), the mandibular plane(MP) and the position of hyoid bone. These informations are useful in determining the therapeutic modalities of the snoring and OSAS patients. However, with conventional routine upright position, it does not represent the actual images of obstructive mechanism during sleep but only show the images of awaken normal upper airway anatomy. Therefore we have taken dual images of a routine upright lateral and a supine cephalometric view to compare both.
PVDF와 PZT 混合材料의 電氣機械結合係數에 관한 硏究

It has been known piezoelectric activity can be generated in synthetic polymer films subjected to a strong DC electric field at elevated temperatures. Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) is best known and commercially most attractive which has been utilized as an active element in many applications ranging from infrared detector to ultrasonic transducers. Lead Zirconate-Lead Titanate(PZT) powders are made from the mole ratio of Pb(Mn1/3Sb2/3)0.08Ti0.49Zr0.425O3 by mixing PbCl2, ZrOCl2, TiCl4, MnCl2 and SbCl3. PVKF-PZT powders are mixed with aceton liquid and make of disc type in diameter 20mm, thickness 0.3mm by the pressure of 20dg/㎠. Poling is done by appling a strong electric field 20kV/cm. Dielectric constant of composite by the mixture ratio is about 30-50 and the value of electro-mechanical coupling factor k is 0.48.

Space Vector control of linear induction motor without speed sensor is one of the most up-to-date researching subjects to the engineers in the fields of power electronics and control theory. A conveyance SLIM(Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) has required a stable speed and a soft start/atop when the goods convey. So, the close loop control method to use a speed sensor have been adopted and as the speed sensor, a linear encorder has been used. But when the speed sensor used, the application boundary is limited and the confidence of system is diminished because it is sensitive to external environment variations and its cost is very expensive. So to solve these problems, this paper deals with speed control of the conveyance SLIM using space vector without speed sensorless.

市販 ?茶를 20℃에서 相對濕度를 달리하여 저장하면서 吸濕特性을 조사하였다. ?茶의 吸濕速度는 貯藏相對濕度가 높을수록 컸으며 貯藏時間이 경과함에 따라 점차 감소하였다. ?茶의 等溫吸濕曲?은 전형적인 Sigmoid 형태를 나타내었으며 相對濕度가 일정할 때 저장시간과 흡습속도와의 관계에서 다음과 같은 式을 구할 수 있었다. ln(dw/dt)=nln(t) + ln c B.E.T. 式에 의해 구한 ?茶의 單分子層水分含量은 7.01~7.87%로 나타났다. 貯藏時間과 吸濕速度關係式에서 구한 계산치 수분함량과 실측치수분함량을 비교한 결과 거의 유사한 경향이었다. The sorption characteristics of green tea were investigated at 20℃ with various relative humidities. Particle size showed little effect on the sorption behavior of green tea. At low relative humidities below 57%, the sorption equilibrium were easily attained, but a high relative humidities above 75%, the sorption equilibrium were not reached after 10 days. From the estimation of sorption rate at arbitrary humidities an empirical equation was obtained; Ln(dw/dt)=nLn(t) + Ln c The monolayer moisture contents of green tea obtained by B.E.T. equation were found to be 7.87%(powder) and 7.01%(whole), respectively.

<P>Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma (PSH) is a benign tumor with two cell populations (epithelial and stromal cells), for which genomic profiles remain unknown. We conducted exome sequencing of 44 PSHs and identified recurrent somatic mutations of AKT1 (43.2%) and beta-catenin (4.5%). We used a second subset of 24 PSHs to confirm the high frequency of AKT1 mutations (overall 31/68, 45.6%; p.E17K, 33.8%) and recurrent beta-catenin mutations (overall 3 of 68, 4.4%). Of the PSHs without AKT1 mutations, two exhibited AKT1 copy gain. AKT1 mutations existed in both epithelial and stromal cells. In two separate PSHs from one patient, we observed two different AKT1 mutations, indicating they were not disseminated but independent arising tumors. Because the AKT1 mutations were not found to co-occur with beta-catenin mutations (or any other known driver alterations) in any of the PSHs studied, we speculate that this may be the single-most common driver alteration to develop PSHs. Our study revealed genomic differences between PSHs and lung adenocarcinomas, including a high rate of AKT1 mutation in PSHs. These genomic features of PSH identified in the present study provide clues to understanding the biology of PSH and for differential genomic diagnosis of lung tumors.</P>

Background/Aims SCN5A encodes the cardiac-specific NaV1.5 sodium channel, and Brugada syndrome is a cardiac conduction disorder associated with sodium channel α-subunit (SCN5A) mutation. The SCN5A-encoded NaV1.5 channel is also found on gastrointestinal smooth muscle and interstitial cells of Cajal. We investigated the relationship between functional dyspepsia (FD) and SCN5A mutation to evaluate sodium channelopathy in FD. Methods Patients with Brugada syndrome or FD were examined using upper endoscopy, electrogastrography (EGG), FD symptom questionnaire based on Rome III criteria and genetic testing for SCN5A mutation. Symptom scores of FD and EGG findings were analyzed according to SCN5A mutation. Results A total of 17 patients (4 Brugada syndrome and 13 FD) participated in the study. An SCN5A mutation was noted in 75.0% of the patients with Brugada syndrome and in 1 (7.7%) of the patients with FD. Of 4 patients with SCN5A mutation, 2 (50%) had FD. Postprandial tachygastria and bradygastria were noted in 2 (50%) and 1 (25%) of the patients with SCN5A mutation, respectively. The EGG findings were not significantly different between positive and negative mutation in 17 patients. Conclusions Although we did not find statistically significant results, we suggest that it is meaningful to attempt to identify differences in symptoms and gastric myoelectric activity according to the presence of an SCN5A mutation by EGG analysis. The relationship between FD and sodium channelopathy should be elucidated in the future by a large-scale study. (J Neurogastroenterol Motil 2012;18:58-63)

국외의 경우 의료기기의 품질보증(QA)의 중요성이 대두되고 있으나, 국내의 경우 품질보증 평가기준이 명확하게 제시되어 있지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내ㆍ외 문헌 조사 및 비교 및 분석을 통하여 개선된 새로운 품질보증 평가기준 및 평가방법을 제시하고자 하였으며, 모의 평가 수행을 통하여 적합성을 확인하였다. 국내의 문헌 조사 결과, 다수의 항목이 주관적인 평가 방법을 이용하고 있으며, 정확성 및 재현성 평가로는 부족한 횟수로 측정을 수행하고 있다. 따라서 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 객관적인 평가 방법 및 명확한 기준을 제시하고자 하였으며, 측정 횟수를 10회로 하여 정확성 및 재현성에 대하여 고려하였다. 모의 평가 결과, 제시한 평가 기준 및 평가방법에 모두 만족하는 것을 확인하였다. 그러나 국내에서만 시행하고 있는 항목과 고대조도 공간분해능에 대해서는 적합한 평가 기준 및 평가 방법을 정립하지 못하였다. 차후 국내 실정에 맞게 정립 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. In foreign countries, the impotance of quality assurance (QA) is increasing, whereas QA evaluation standards are not established properly in Korea. Thus this study was conducted to suggest improved QA evaluation standards and methods by studying/comparing/analyzing the literature in both Korea and foreign countries and prove its suitability through simulated evaluation. result of research in south korea, much check list using the evaluation method subjective, the evaluation of accuracy and reproducibility is meausred in the number of missing. Therefore, attempts to present a clear reference evaluation and objective way to solve the problem, examined the accuracy and reproducibility and 10times of measurement. The results of the simulated evaluation satisfied both proposed evaluation standards and methods. However the QA evaluation standards and methods for the items that are implemented only in Korea and high-contrast spatial resolution could have been established. In this regard, there is a need of further studies on the establishment of QA evaluation standards and methods that suits Korean situation.
