      • 就學前兒童의 營養改善을 爲한 鐵分添加 給食效果에 對한 硏究

        As an attempt to examine the nutritional effect of iron supplementation of Korean rural pre-school children, anthropometry, clinical examination, and hematological parameters (Hb, Ht, and serum albumin) are measured. Six kinds of diet supplemented with 0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0 and 20.0㎎ Fe(as ferrous sulfate were used for 10weeks. Subjects were 348 pre-school children aged from 1 to 5 years old living in An-gam-myon and Bong-dang-myon, Hwa-seung-goon, Kyong-gi-go, and the supplementary diet was a product of the model Nutritional Enterprise Factory in Wuen-sueng-goon, Gangwon-do. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Physical development of subject children were within normal range during the feeding trial period of 9 weeks. 2. From the results of clinical examination, no children showed nutritional deficiency signs. 3. iron free supplementary diet group(control group) among other subject children also showed some improvement of hemoglobin level and frequency of anemia. 4. The amount of iron fortified as supplemental diet was effective on 5.0~7.5㎎ Fe per child per day, no further effect was observed by adding of more iron. 5. The values of hematocrit and serum albumin also improved by providing the supplementary diet.

      • 초등학교 남·여 아동의 진로의식 성숙도 관련변인 연구

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate related factors to children`s career maturity level, self-concept and home environment according to their gender of 6th grade boys and girls. The subjects of the study were 129 boys and 97 girls of 6th grade attending elementary schools in Seoul area. The instruments such as Career Maturity Inventory, Self-Concept Inventory and Home Environment Inventory were utilized for analyzing related factors to children`s vocational development. Major findings of the present study are as follows: 1. On the relationship between career maturity and self-concept, the basic attitude and independence of career maturity were statistically significantly correlated to children`s academic self-concept regardless of their sex. 2. On the relationship between career maturity and home environment, the basic attitude of career maturity was statistically significantly related to group character of home. Sex differences were found among these factors. 3. On the relationship between career maturity and sex, the academic self-concept and psychological process of home were significantly related to children`s career maturity.

        Acute fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP) was first described as a specific clinical entity in 1940 and thought to be universally fatal. Maternal mortality in the past approached 75 percent. However early diagnosis and prompt delivery have dramatically improved the prognosis, and maternal mortality rate is now less than 18 percent. A early diagnosis, a prompt delivery, and a intensive supportive care have improved maternal and perinatal outcome. We report a 30—year—old woman at 37 weeks gestation who have multiple complications including acute pancreatitis in AFLP. She was complicated with acute renal failure, disseminated intravascular coagulation, duodenal ulcer bleeding, spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, pulmonary edema and acute pancreatitis.

      • GOS가 장내 Bifidobacteria의 생육촉진에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        We investigated the growth effect of various sugars on the principal intestinal microorganisms which were Bifidobacteria, Lactobacilli, Streptococci, Clostridia, Escherichia, Eubacteria, and Staphylococci. Those microorganisms were cultivated on media containing various sugars. The sugars were grouped into A, B, and C. Group A consisted of sugars extracted by water, 5%, 15%, 30%, and 40%, EtOH, respectively. Group B were galactooligosaccharide(GOS), fructooligosaccharide(FOS), isomaltooligosaccharide(IMO), and xylooligosaccharide( XOS). Group C were LOS, SOS, and LSOS. Bif. adolescentis, Bif. bifidum, Bif. infantis, Bif. longum, and Str. faecalis grew well on the media containing sugars of each A, B, and C group, while C. butyricurm, S. aureus, Eu. limosum, and E. coli did not. The results indicated that oligosaccharides of A, B, and C group were consumed effectively by Bifidobacterium spp. but not utilized by other intestinal microorganisms. Oligosaccharides of each A, B, and C group promoted selectively the growth of Bif. infantis and Bif. longum in the human intestinal microflora.

        경험 추론(귀추)적 순환 학습 모형을 활용한 탐구 수업 전략 개발 : 과학3의 “물의 순환과 날씨 변화” 단원을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 학생 중심의 탐구 수업 전략을 개발하는데 있다. 실험실 수업과 교실 수업이 분리되어 있는 우리나라 과학 교육 현실에 적용 할 수 있는 탐구 수업 전략 개발을 위해 탐색, 용어 도입, 개념 응용 단계로 이루어져 있는 로슨의 경험 추론(귀추)적 순환 학습 모형을 사용하였다. 탐색 단계에서 학생 중심의 탐구 수업이 실험실에서 이루어 질 수 있도록 중학교 과학 3의 "물의 순환과 날씨 변화" 단원에서 해륙풍을 주제로 하는 탐구 실험을 개발하였다. 탐구 실험은 귀납적 I·O·E 형태로 도입, 관찰, 설명의 순서로 구성되어 있으며 학생용, 교사용 탐구 실험이 있다. 그리고 학생들의 실험 수행평가를 위해 탐구 과정기능, 실험 기능, 개인별 실험 태도에 대한 채점 기준도 개발하였다. 이와 함께 개발한 탐구 실험을 1차시 실험실 수업으로 하고 2차시 교실 수업과 연계할 수 있는 탐구 수업 전략도 개발하였다. This study aims for the development how to organize a more student-centered inquiry teaching strategy. The Lawson's empirical inductive learning cycle model is used to develop the strategy to be applied in the current circumstances of Korean science classes at schools, which separately conduct laboratory classes from ordinary science classes. Lawson's cycle model has three stages; exploration, introduction of terms and application of acquired idea. Lawson emphasizes that the exploration with students' active participation should be preceded before the other process when students start to learn science, in his model. Inquiry experiments are developed in this thesis in order to encourage students to lead science classes at school laboratories. These inquiry experiments have been made with two different topics coming from "Science 3" used in Korean middle schools; The topic is 'land and sea breeze' from the section of 'the circulation of water and weather change'. This inquiry experiments is consisted of 'Introduction', 'Observation' and 'Explanation', in order, with the form of inductive I·O·E. Inaddition, sub-textbooks for students and guide books for teachers are suggested for the experiments. Three standards to evaluate students' performance in the experiments are also set by the categories of 'used skills for the inquiries', 'performance' and 'attitude' to the experiments so that teachers can carry out objective and process-focused evaluation on their students' efforts to the classes. The created strategy in this thesis ultimately prioritize laboratory inquiry classes according to the Lawson's empirical inductive learning cycle model. That is, in the primary step, students undergo 'exploration' being the center of the inquiry experiments at the laboratories. Afterward, in the secondary step, the introduction of terms, which introduce related terms and explain them, and the application of acquired idea are carried out at ordinary classrooms. In the process of idea application, students solve given questions and internalize acquired ideas. Newly developed strategy for school inquiry experiments in this thesis will help Korean science classes turn to be more student-centered, in other words, students have more leadership in the classes than teachers do.

        홀리스틱 심상활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 홀리스틱 심상활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구문제는 ‘홀리스틱 심상활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동, 개인정서 조절능력, 대인관계 형성능력, 유치원 적용능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가’로 설정하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 S시에 소재한 유치원의 만5세 유아를 한 학급의 20명을 실험집단으로, 다른 학급의 20명을 비교집단으로 구성하였다. 검사도구는 Mcginnis와 Goldstein(1990)이 유아의 친사회적 기술을 측정하기 위해 제작한 기술 상황척도를 이원영 ? 박찬욱 ? 노영희(1992~1993)가 예비검사를 거쳐 수정 ? 보완한 것을 사용하였다. 이 연구의 결과에 따르면 홀리스틱 심상활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동, 개인정서 조절능력, 대인관계 형성능력, 유치원 적용능력을 향상 시키는데 효과가 있었다. The present study aims at investigating the effect of the holistic image work on the preschoolers' pro-social behavior when it was implemented in the kindergarten curriculum. Three aspects of pro-social behavior was examined: the ability to control emotion, the ability to form the personal relationship, and the ability of the preschoolers to adapt themselves to their kindergarten life. Subjects were 40 five year-old preschoolers of an H. kindergarten located in the city of Sungnam. Half of them were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the other half to the experimental group, To examine the influence of the holistic image work, the pre-test and post-test were carried out. The preschoolers' pro-social behavior was assessed with the modified Skill Situation Measure (Lee Won Young, Park Chan Ok, and No Young Hee, 1992~1993), which was originally developed by Mcginnis & Goldstein. Major findings or this study are as follows: The holistic image work has positive effects on the preschoolers' pro-social behavior: it enhanced the ability to control emotion, the ability to form the personal relationship, and the adaptibility of the preschoolers to the kindergarten life. Implications of this result were discussed and some suggestions for future study was proposed.

      • 한라산 1100고지에서 채취한 대기 에어로졸 조성의 계절적 변화에 관한 연구

        The atmospheric aerosols have been collected with aerosol sampler installed at 1100m site located at Halla mountain in Cheju island for about 124 days from August 15, 1996 to May 3, 1997, and their compositions have been analyzed in order to investigate the seasonal variation of aerosol compositions and the characteristics of aerosols. The correlation coefficients for the sum of the cation and anion equivalent concentrations showed the values between r=0.911 and r=0.977, and it has been found that the precision of the analytical data was with good satisfaction. The amounts of total suspended particulates(TSP) were in the range of 19.9∼28.6μg/㎥ with the highest concentrations in Spring season due to the yellow sand effect. The average concentrations of water-soluble cations were in the order of NH₄ +>Na+>Mg²+>K+>Ca²+ during the summer, fall and winter seasons, but NH₄+>Ca ²+>K+>Na+>Mg²+ during the spring season. The average concentrations of anions were in the order of SO₄->NO₃->Cl- for the all seasons. The concentrations of SO₄²- and NO₃- showed a high increase through winter and spring seasons due to the effect of the north-west wind, which were 5.95∼6.05μg/㎥ and 1.41∼1.60μg/㎥ respectively. And the Ca²+, the major component of soil, showed a high concentration value of 0.47μg/㎥ in yellow-sand spring season. In the effect of sea-salt with the enrichment factors, the SO₄²-, Ca²- and K+ were found to be flown to the air due to the other factors rather than sea-salt effect. And in the effect of soil with the enrichment factors, the SO₄²-, NO₃-, Cl- and NH₄+ were found to be introduced to the air through the other paths but the soil itself.

      • Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate법에 의한 원유와 살균유의 세균수 측정

        LAL method for the determination of Gram-negative bacterial Lipopolysaccharides(LPS) in milk is proposed and its value for bacteriological quality control is investigated. The relationship between the LPS contents and total colony count(cfu/ml), which covers the Gram-negative bacteria, was determined in raw milk samples. The coefficient of correlation between Gram-negative bacterial counts(cfu/ml) and LPS contents was r^2 =0.969. And, the correlation coefficient between total bacterial counts(cfu/ml) and LPS contents was r^2 =0. 914. It was also investigated how much the LPS contents were in UHT milks from l0 different dairy industrial companies in Korea. It varied from 92 ng LPS/ml to 938 ng LPS /ml.

        點鳳山一帶 天然闊葉樹林의 地形的 位置에 따른 群集 構造的 屬性 分析(Ⅰ) : 樹種構性, 種多樣性, 生活型을 中心으로

        이 연구는 점봉산 일대 천연활엽수림을 대상으로 산림의 지형적 위치에 따라 군집의 구조적 속성이 달라진다는 가정하에 대상산림을 계곡, 산복, 능선으로 구분하고 각 군집별 수종구성, 종다양성, 생활형 분석을 통해 산림 생태계의 군집 속성을 파악하여 산림경영의 생태적 접근 방안을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시 되었다. 연구 결과, 계곡지역 상층의 수종구성은 신갈나무, 전나무, 들메나무 순으로 우점하고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 산복지역에서는 피나무, 신갈나무, 가래나무 순으로 나타났으며, 능선지역에서는 신갈나무, 피나무, 물푸레나무 순으로 나타났다. 그러나 중층과 하층에서 높은 우점률을 보이는 까치박달과 당단풍은 생육특성상 상층목으로의 도약을 기대하기 어려울 것으로 추정되었다. 종다양성은 계곡, 산복, 능선등 모든 지역의 중층과 하층에서는 유사한 것으로 파악되었으나, 상층에서는 능선지역이 계곡과 산복지역에 비해 매우 낮게 나타났다. 그리고 수분조건이 좋은 계곡보다 산복지역이 종다양성이 높은 것으로 파악되었다. 조사된 146종의 관속식물을 대상으로 생활형을 휴면형을 기준으로 구분한 결과, 지중식물, 교목, 반지중식물, 아교목, 관목, 1년생식물, 지표식물, 수생식물 순으로 나타났다. 특히 희귀 및 멸종식물로 지정된 금강초롱꽃은 본 연구 대상지 전역에서 쉽게 관찰되었다. Taking account of the structural variation on species composition according to the different topographic positions, i.e. valley, mid-slope, and ridge, the species composition, species diversity, life tool·m were comparatively analyzed fort· the three topographic positions in the natural deciduous forest of Mt. Chumbong area. The results are as follows. 1.Specise Composition : Dominant species in the overstory were Quercus mongolica. Abies holophylla, and Fraxinus mandshurica in valley ; Tilia amuresis, Quercus mongolica, and Juglans mandshurica in mid-slope ; and Quercus mongolica, Tilia amurensis, and Fraxinus rhynchophylla in ridge. Acer p. and Carpinus c. which have maintained high composition ratio in mid-story were not considered to be dominant overstory species due to inherent growth form. 2.Species Diversity : The species diversity indices of mid- and understory showed not much different value in three topographic positions. However, the index of overstory in ridge had smaller value than those of valley and mid-slope. The stand in ridge had greater species diversity index than in valley where moisture condition could be more favorable. 3.Life Form : The total of 146 vascular were observed in Mt. Chumbong in this study Especially, Hanabusaya asiatica Nakai, were supposed to be the rare and endangered species, was easily found in many places. The proportion of life form spectra in the study forest was G-MM-H-N-Th-Ch-HH. Key words : natural deciduous forest, species composition, species diversity, life form.
