        오늘날 현저한 CO2 레이저의 응용 추세에 발맞추어 보다 다양한 형태의 출력 제어 기술이 대두되고 있다. 본연구에서는multi-Pulse Superposing-Discharge 기술을 이용하여 다양한형태의 CO2 레이저의 펄스를 성형 하였다. 펄스 성형을 위한 방법으로 PIC one-chip microprocessor를 이용하여 삼중 PFN 모률의 SCR을 각각 고유의 지연시간을 가지도록 제어하였다. 실험에 사용된 삼중 PFN 모률의 전원 회로는 각각 캐패시터 인덕터,SCR,고압 펄스 트랜스 그리고 고압 트랜스 2차측에 브릿지 정류기로 구성 하였다. 고압 펼스 트랜스의 1차측을 제어하므로서 PFN 모률의 동작을 저 전압에서 수행 할 수 있다. 트랜스의 2차측에 연결된 전파 정류기는 펄스 에너지를 부하에 지속적으로 전달한다. 본 연구에서는 삼중 PFN 모률의 각각의 SCR을 다른 시간 가격을 두고 트리거 하므로서 다양한 Long pulse shaping을 실현하였다. 또한 약 250-1000μs 의 주기를 가지는 다양한 펄스형 레이저 빔을 얻었다.

        Algal bioassay 에 의한 조류생장 제한영양염류 결정

        Determination of Limiting Nutrient for Algal Growth by Algal Bioassay. Oh, Hee-Mock, Seog June Lee, Seong-Bin Kim, Mi- Kyung Park, Byung-Dae Yoon and Do-Han Kim (Environmental Microbiology Research Unit, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Taejon 305-333, Korea and Water Resources Research Institute, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Taejon 305-390, Korea) Water quaiity and algal growth potential (AGP) using Microcystis aeruginosa were investigated from April to September 1997 in Daechung Reservoir. Secchi disk transparency was 1.1 m in August. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were higher than 10㎍/l at all samples. Total phosphorus concentration was in a range of 0.020∼0.027mg/l which is at the approximate value of 0.03 mg/l, the general critical level of eutrophication. These results indicate that Daechung Reservoir is in an eutrophic state except some temporary times and restricted sites. Phosphorus uptake rate of M. aeruginosa was higher in the water from the epilimnion than in the hypolimnion and also higher under light condition than under dark condition. Therefore, phosphorus uptake rate appears to depend on cellular phosphorous content and light condition, a meaning of endergonic process. Phosphorus was the most frequently limiting nutrient: phosphorus was limiting algal gowth in April and May, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements were the limiting factors for algae in August, and trace elements in September. If a fast growing alga, M, aeruginosa, is used as a test organism for assaying AGP, in vivo fluorescence instead of dry weight can be measured for algal biomass and incubation period can be reduced from traditional 14 days to 7 days.

        소적정원산(消積正元算)으로 호전된 적증(積證)환자 1례 보고

        This study was designed to evaluate the effects of the oriental medicine(Sojeockjeongwonsan) on a Jeock-Jeung patient. The clinical data was analyzed on a patient with Jeock-Jeung, deemed due to Gangiulgyul(肝氣鬱結) and Junggiheoyak(正氣虛弱). The patient’s main symptoms were abdominal pain and abdominal mass. The patient was admitted to Dae-Gu Hanny University Dae-Gu Oriental Medicine Hospital. Clinical symptoms, including abdominal pain, abdominal mass and general condition, improved after treatment. This study suggests that Sojeockjeongwonsan is significantly effective in treatment of a Jeock-Jeung.

      • 징거미새우, Macrobrachium nipponense(De Haan)의 생식소성숙 제어에 미치는 광주기와 안병의 X-organ에 관한 연구

        To clarify the relations between photoperiodism and x-organ of eyestalks to the control of gonadal maturation in a freshwater prawn. Macrobrachium nipponense, the present investigation was performed with following examinations : 1) the influence of water temperature and daylength on the control of gonadal maturation, 2) the effect of eyestalk ablation on the gonadal maturation, 3) the seasonal variation of histology of MEX-organ (medulla externa X-organ) in the eyestalk. In previtellogenesis period (December∼March) and vitellogenesis period (April∼May), gonadal maturation was considerablely influenced by water temperature. In these periods, GSI increased and gonads were matured with water temperature rising without regard to photoperiod conditions (12L/12D and 15L/9D). In spawning period (June∼August), however, gonadal maturation was influenced by photoperiod condition. While high value of GSI was kept at long photoperiod regime (15L/9D), GSE was decreased at short photoperiod regime (12L/12D). In resting period (September∼November), no rematuration was occurred at all the experimental regimes combined with water temperatures (16℃, 22℃, 28℃) and photoperiod (12L/12D, 15L/9D). Effect of X-organ which inhibite the gonadal maturation was stronger in resting period than that in previtellogenesis and early spawning periods by observations on the effectiveness of eyestalk ablation on the gonadal maturation. In MEX-organ of eyestalk, the number of neurosecretory cells of which size was over 20㎛ in diameter varied according to the reproductive cycle. The number of cells increased 77±12 in resting period, and decreased 55±7 in vitellogenesis period. Volume of Bellonci's organ, however, increased in vitellogenesis period in comparison with that in resting period.

        In this paper, we reviewed the Ancient Greek mathematics education in order to discuss the aim of mathematics education. For most of Western cultural history, mathematics enjoyed a unique image, and a consequent prestige. Those perceptions were shaped by the achievement and outlook of ancient Greece, which saw in mathematics both a particular insight into the substance of "reality" and an unparalleled certainty of reasoning and conclusions. In light of the history of mathematics, we discussed Platonism as a philosophical basis of the traditional mathematics teaching. This has been concerned with teaching Euclid's "Elements" since ancient Greece. And we discussed the relationship between mathematics and a humanities form of education in the context of the traditional thought.

        This study aims to survey the Kitcher's empirical philosophy on mathematics regarded basic theory of current educational insist to improve mathematics education. Kitcher criticized the Apriorism that has been the traditional mathematical philosophy. He suggested that the system of mathematical knowledge follows the rational process', and analyzed the patterns of mathematical change into following five steps and dealt with typical problems of each step.: Question-Answering Question-Generation, Generalization, Rigorization. Systematization. In this paper, we investigate how his theory is applied to the history of Analysis.

        수학교육 사상사 개관

        오늘날 수학은 학교교육에서 핵심적인 지위를 누리고 있으면서도 도구적 가치를 넘어 일반 대중을 위한 인간 교육적 가치를 강변하기 어려운 위치에 있다. 이에 본고는 수학교육의 가치를 강조한 서양의 교육사상가들이 주장한 수학교육의 의의를 고찰하고자 하였다. 먼저, 본고에서는 고대 그리스의 수학교육의 의미를 플라톤의 교육사상에서 확인하고자 하였다. 이러서 근대 이후 서구의 공교육의 사상적 기반을 제공한 페스탈로찌, 헤르바르트, 프뢰벨 등의 인간주의 교육사상 가운데 수학교육이 어떠한 인간 교육적 의미를 지니는가를 고찰하였다. 그리고, 서구의 전통적인 윤리관과 지식관을 비판하고 실용주의적 도구주의적 지식교육 철학을 정립한 듀이의 교육사상에서 수학의 인간 교육적 의미를 고찰하였다. 본 논문은 이상과 같이 서구의 수학교육 사상사에 대한 분석적 고찰을 통하여 수학교육의 의의를 밝히고자 하였으며, 이를 현대에 적용하기 위해 프롸벨의 수학교육사상을 재해석하고자 하였다. Mathematics holds a key position among the subject-matters of school education.Nevertheless, beyond its instrumental one, humanity-educational value of mathematics for the general public has been underestimated. Thus, in this thesis we examine how western educational theorists have emphasized the value of mathematics as humanity education.First of all, we discuss Platonism as a philosophical basis of the ancient Greece mathematics education.Next, we examine the thoughts of Pestalozzi, Herbert, Froebel who provided the theoretical basis for the public education since 19th century, and discuss the value of mathematics teaching in their humanistic educational thoughts.Also we examine the humanistic value of mathematics education in Dewey´s educational philosophy, which criticized the traditional western ethics and epistemology, and established instrumentalism In this paper identify the humanistic values of mathematics education through the historical examination of the philosophies of mathematics education, and try to reintroduce Froebel´s philosophy of mathematics education.

        어린이에게 사용되는 가철식 교정장치용 clasp의 유지력비교

        본 연구의 목적은 어린이에게 사용되고 있는 가철식 교정장치를 위한 clasp에 대하여 각 디자인간 유지력의 차이를 평가하고자 함이다. 상악 유견치와 제 1, 2유구치 및 제 1 대구치를 단일 치아 모형과 두 개의 인접 치아 형태로 금속 주모형을 제작한 후 clasp를 종류에 따라 형성하여 각 모형에 대한 clasp의 유지력을 측정하였다. Clasp의 종류에 따른 유지력을 서로 비교하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 단일치아에서 유지력을 얻는 clasp중 Jackson clasp와 Adams clasp는 다른 clasp에 비하여 높은 유지력을 나타냈으며, C clasp는 가장 낮은 유지력을 나타냈다. (p<0.05) 2. 두 개이상 치아의 치간부 undercut을 이용하는 clasp중 eyelet clasp가 가장 큰 유지력을 보여주었고 triangular clasp, ball clasp순으로 낮은 유지력을 보여주었다. (p<0.05) The purpose of this study was to compare the retentive forces of various types of clasps for removable orthodontic appliances for primary and mixed dentition. Seven metal models of a single tooth and two teeth were made, including axillary left primary canine, first primary molar, second primary molar and first molar. Retentive forces of Adams clasp, circumferential clasp(C clasp), Jackson clasp, Duyzing clasp, arrowhead clasp, ball clasp, eyelet clasp, and triangular clasp were measured by Universal Testing Machine(Zwick Z020, Germany). The obtained results were as follows. 1. Jackson clasp and Adams clasp showed the highest retentive force among single tooth clasps. 2. C clasp showed the lowest retentive force, and there was no statistically significant difference in retentive force between mesial end C clasp and distal end C clasp. 3. Eyelet clasp showed the highest, and ball clasp showed the lowest retentive force among clasps for interdental undercut. 4. Triangular clasp showed higher retentive force than ball clasp.

        하악골 후방이동시 중안면부 연조직의 변화양상에 대한 임상통계학적 연구

        Prediction of the soft tissue changes following hard tissue movement is very important from the esthetic view point for patients who have orthognathic surgery. There are many cephalometric analysis of facial bone and soft tissue on the lower lip and chin region but few soft tissue analysis on the midface after mandibular setback surgery. This study was performed to obtain whether the mandibular posterior movement has influence on the midface and the predictable ratio of post-operative measurement values of the soft tissue changes following mandibular setback surgery. Fifteen patients (8 males and 7 females) who had undergone mandibular setback surgery were selected and analyzed the soft tissue movement on the upper lip and the cheek region. Post-operative changes of the soft tissue measurements after mandibular surgery were examined on pre- and post-operative cephalo-metrics and the ratio of changes were analyzed after drawing the reference line on the face with the barium sulfate solution. The reference lines were perpendicular to the intercanthal line from infraorbital foramen and lateral canthus. The results obtained were as follows : 1.There were tendancy of anterior movement of soft tissue adjacent the nose after mandibular surgery 2.There were incerased tendancy of the amount of anterior movement from the nasal crease to the cheek region. 3.The amount of anterior movement of the soft tissue was larger below the palatal plane compared with above the palatal plane in the cheek region. 4.The upper lip length was increased and moved posterior direction after mandibular setback surgery 5.The lower lip was moved posterior direction by posterior movement of the mandibular structure 6.Soft tissue of the midface around the nose moved anterior direction after mandibular setback surgery but there was no correlation between the amount of mandibular setback and the amount of the soft tissue changes
