Since the current tendencies show us the increasing number of cerebral palsy children and the standard longevity, we need to find out more research about the following various problems. Therefore I have tried to figure out the difference of oxygen saturation and heart rate between before ambulation and after. Objects chosen are 17 C.P children on the process of treatment those who were able to walk and 8 normal children in Ah-San hospital, Gang-Nung. They haven't had either any operation or suffered heart disease and I measured their oxygen saturation and heart rate by using pulse-oximeter and are analyzed by SPSS (10.07 version). Results are the followings; 1. There was no difference of oxygen saturation and heart rate between pre-ambulation and post-ambulation of normal and spastic hemiplegia children. 2. There showed the significant statistic difference of oxygen saturation, heart rate between pre-ambulates and post-ambulation of normal and spastic diplegia(p<.05). 3. There was no difference of oxygen saturation, heart rate in C.P between(p>.05), but shows the significant statistic difference in heart rate(p<.05). As I compared the oxygen saturation and heart rate of spastic and normal children on between pre-ambulation and post-ambulation, theres is significant statistic difference on both items (p<.05). However there was no difference of oxygen saturation among hemiplegia, normal and diplegia children while the pulse rate showed the significant difference(p<.05). According to this clinical research, CP children's oxygen saturation and heart rate had no change between pre and post compared to normal children. But there was difference in diplegia. This is why we need to invest time to study these kinds of research about various analysis and comparison of oxygen saturation and heart rate, and furthermore making use of pulse-oxymetry in physical therapy room for the children involved would be beneficial to calculate in accuracy without any discomfort for the patient as well.
국내 2-3차 의료기관에서 관찰된 미란 식도염의 유병률 및 증상 분포

목적: 최근 아시아에서 시행된 미란 식도염에 관한 연구들에서 유병률은 증가하는 양상을 보이고 있다. 이번 연구에서는 국내 2-3차 병원에서 미란 식도염의 유병률을 조사하고, 관련 증상들을 분석하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2003년 5월부터 7월까지 소화기관련 증상으로 국내 24개 2-3차 병원에서 소화기내과 외래를 방문하여 증상기록지를 작성하고, 처음으로 상부 소화관 내시경검사를 받는 신환들을 대상으로 하였다. 결과: 4,275예의 환자들 중 506예(11.8%)에서 미란식도염이 관찰되었고, 주증상으로 전형적인 위식도역류질환(GERD) 증상을 호소할 때 미란 식도염의 유병률은 16.7%, 한 주에 2회 이상 또는 일상 생활에 영향을 줄 정도로 심한 전형적인 GERD 증상을 보일 때 미란 식도염의 유병률은 19.6%였다. 미란 식도염은 남자, 65세 이상의 여자, 한 주일에 두 번 이상 주증상으로 호소하는 전형적인 GERD 증상, 전형적인 GERD 증상의 개수가 증가할 경우에 유병률이 높았다. 그러나 GERD 증상의 강도와 미란 식도염의 유병률은 관계가 없었다. 가장 흔한 전형적인 GERD 증상은 위산 역류였고, 비전형적인 GERD 증상은 속쓰림이었다. 결론: 국내 2-3차 병원의 소화기내과 외래에 소화기 증상으로 방문하는 환자들에서 미란 식도염의 유병률은 11.8%였고, 전형적인 GERD 증상을 호소하는 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우에 비해 미란 식도염의 유병률이 높았다. 남자, 고령의 여자, 전형적인 GERD 증상의 개수, 한 주에 2회 이상의 빈도를 보이는 전형적인 GERD 증상의 유무가 미란 식도염으로 진단될 가능성을 높이는 독립적인 인자로 관찰되었다. Background/Aims: Recent studies suggest that the prevalence of erosive esophagitis (EE) is increasing in Asia. The aims of this study were to determine the prevalence of EE among outpatients visiting gastroenterology clinics of secondary and tertiary hospitals in Korea, and to analyze their symptoms. Methods: From May to July 2003, outpatients undergoing their first upper gastrointestinal endoscopies after visiting gastroenterology clinics in secondary and tertiary hospitals in Korea were enrolled. Prevalence of EE was calculated from their endoscopic findings, and symptoms were analyzed from the validated symptom questionnaire. Results: Among 4,275 cases from 24 hospitals, 506 (11.8%) had EE. Among 836 cases with predominantly typical GERD symptoms, EE was diagnosed in 140 (16.7%). Among 530 cases having predominantly typical GERD symptoms with a frequency of at least twice a week or with a significant impact on their daily lives, EE was found in 104 (19.6%). The prevalence of EE was positively associated with males irrespective of age, old aged (≥65 years) females, predominantly typical GERD symptoms at least twice a week, and the numbers of typical GERD symptoms. The severity of GERD symptoms did not affect the prevalence of EE. The most common typical and atypical GERD symptoms in cases with EE were regurgitation and epigastric soreness, respectively. Conclusions: The prevalence of EE among outpatients visiting gastroenterology clinics in Korea was 11.8%. Independent factors associated with increased prevalence of EE were males irrespective of age, old aged (≥65 years) females, number of typical GERD symptoms, and frequent typical GERD symptoms. 태양열 이용 증발식 1단 SAT 해수담수화 시스템의 성능평가

This study was described the development of fresh water generator, that was one of the core technology for the evaporating desalination system with solar energy. Especially, the final goal of this project is the evaporating multiple effect desalination, this study was manufactured heat exchangers with bare tubes and spiral tubes in order to improve the performance of evaporation and condensation for single effect shell and tubes(SAT) fresh water generator. The experimental apparatus consists mainly of ejector pump, Hot water pump, flow meter, demister, cooler, evaporator and condenser. The experimental variables were chosen 70℃ for hot water inlet temperature, 60, 80, 100 and 120 ℓ/min hot water flow rate, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 ℓ/min for evaporator feed seawater flow rate, 0 and 90㎜ for demister thickness and spiral tube condenser, bare tube condenser. Experiment Sea water inlet temperature was selected 22℃ to cover the average sea water temperature and the salinity of sea water is measured about 33,000 PPM(parts per million). for a year in Korea. This study was analyzed the results of thermal performance of single effect shell and tubes(SAT) fresh water generator.
