내진보강공법용 복합섬유패널을 활용한 다가구주택 필로티 기둥의 전단성능실험

In recent years, earthquakes in Gyeongju and Pohang have raised interest in earthquake-resistant design and architecture. The piloti column of multi-family housing is a vertical Irregular system, and it is necessary to strengthen piloti column of the multi-family housing because it can suffer catastrophic damage in the event of an earthquake due to the difference in rigidity between the upper and lower stories. However, private multi-family housing cannot be reinforced due to the huge cost and time involved. Consequently, a shear reinforcement method capable of dry construction without using epoxy adhesive in a composite fiber panel is proposed. In this study, the front-end strength of the seismic retrofit method with or without reinforcement using composite fiber panels was verified by experiments, and the results indicate that the front-end strength increased 1.46–1.49 times owing to the influence of the composite fiber panels. Therefore, it is judged that the column of multi-family housing has an earthquake-resistance reinforcement effects. 최근 경주, 포항에 연이은 지진 발생으로 인하여 내진설계에 관심이 높아지고 있다. 다가구주택 필로티기둥은 수직비정형 시스템으로 상,하부층의 강성 차이로 인하여 지진 발생 시 막대한 피해가 예상되기 때문에 다가구주택 필로티기둥의 내진보강이 필요하다. 그러나 민간 소유인 다가구주택의 경우 막대한 비용과 시간으로 인하여 보강이 어려운 실정이다. 이에 따라, 복합섬유패널로 에폭시 접착제 미사용으로 건식시공이 가능한 전단보강공법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 복합섬유패널 보강 유무에 따른 내진보강공법의 전단내력을 실험을 통하여 검증하였고, 에폭시를 사용하지 않아 일체화 거동을 하지는 않지만 복합섬유패널의 영향으로 전단내력은 1.46∼1.49배 증가하는 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 다가구주택 필로티기둥의 내진보강효과가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Zirconium(Zr) nuclear fuel cladding tubes are made using a three-time pilgering and annealing process. In order to remove the oxidized layer and impurities on the surface of the tube, a pickling process is required. Zr is dissolved in HF and $HNO_3$ mixed acid during the process and pickling waste acid, including dissolved Zr, is totally discarded after being neutralized. In this study, the waste acid was recycled by adding $BaF_2$, which reacted with the Zr ion involved in the waste acid; $Ba_2ZrF_8$ was subsequently precipitated due to its low solubility in water. It is very difficult to extract zirconium from the as-recovered $Ba_2ZrF_8$ because its melting temperature is $1031^{\circ}C$. Hence, we tried to recover Zr using an electrowinning process with a low temperature molten salt compound that was fabricated by adding $ZrF_4$ to $Ba_2ZrF_8$ to decrease the melting point. Change of the Zr redox potential was observed using cyclic voltammetry; the voltage change of the cell was observed by polarization and chronopotentiometry. The structure of the electrodeposited Zr was analyzed and the electrodeposition characteristics were also evaluated.

This paper addresses the target tracking problem using time difference of arrival (TDOA) and frequencydifference of arrival (FDOA) measured by moving sensor network whose position and velocity are noise contaminated. It is a known fact that the existing approaches to this problem still have two unsolved technical issues; theunsatisfactory convergence behavior of the tracking filter mainly caused by severe nonlinearity of the problem itselfand the tracking performance degradation due to the sensor position and velocity errors. In order to resolve thesematters radically, the given target tracking problem is formulated as the robust state estimation problem of the linearsystem with stochastic uncertainties in its measurement matrix and solved by using the robust Kalman filter theory. The proposed scheme enables us to overcome the inherent limitations of the conventional nonlinear filters for itslinear filter structure. It can also prevent the performance degradation due to imperfect sensor position and velocityinformation. Through the simulations, the effectiveness and reliable target tracking performance of the proposedmethod are demonstrated.
