Purpose: To report cases of the surgical removal of sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide to control increased intraocular pressure after sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide injection Case summary: Three patients had no response to maximal medical treatment to control suddenly increased intraocular pressure after sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide (40 mg) injection to treat diabetic macular edema. The anterior chamber angle was open in all patients, and there was no neovascularization in the iris or anterior chamber angle. Slit lamp biomicroscopy showed deposition of triamcinolone acetonide in the inferior sub-Tenon area. Intraocular pressure was decreased within the normal range without any medication after removal of triamcinolone acetonide precipitates. Conclusions: Surgical removal of sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide can be as a primary treatment option in cases of increased intraocular pressure which shows no response to maximal medical treatment after sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide injection. 열공망막박리에서 실리콘기름 제거술 후 발생하는 일시적인 저안압증

Purpose: To determine the risk factors for transient hypotony after silicone oil removal in rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and to analyze changes in intraocular pressure and visual acuity after silicone oil removal. Methods: The medical records of 54 eyes of 52 patients who underwent pars plana vitrectomy, silicone oil tamponade followed by silicone oil removal due to rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, were reviewed. Results: The incidence of transient hypotony after silicone oil removal was 18.5%. Young age (p = 0.011) and axial length (p = 0.002) were risk factors for transient hypotony based on univariate analysis. In multivariate analysis, axial length longer than 26 mm was the only risk factor for transient hypotony (p = 0.005). Seven hypotony patients recovered to normal intraocular pressure spontaneously within 2 weeks. In 2 patients, intraocular pressure was normalized after intravitreal injection of C3F8 gas and 1 patient recovered after a balanced salt solution injection into the anterior chamber. Two weeks after silicone oil removal, there was no significant difference in intraocular pressure between the hypotony group and normal intraocular pressure group. Additionally, there was no statistically significant difference in best corrected visual acuity between the 2 groups after 2 weeks. Conclusions: Although transient hypotony after silicone oil removal in rhegmatogenous retinal detachment was frequently observed in the present study, the final best corrected visual acuity and intraocular pressure was not always affected. Ocular hypotony should be examined thoroughly in the early postoperative period.
Hierarchical Processing Architecture with Dynamically Allocated Nodes for 3D Graphics Shader

Flexible programmability has become the key issue in polygon-based rasterization on 3D graphics hardware in endowing realism to the final image displayed. Yet, data parallelism must also be exploited in order to ensure performance at interactive rate. In this paper, a new hierarchical architecture based on both MIMD and SIMD, otherwise known as heterogeneous chip multiprocessing, is presented along with dynamically allocated nodes to provide load balancing in 3D graphics, physics simulation, and general-purpose programming.

The objective of this study was to identify the correlations among service quality and service value, cognitive and emotional responses, customer satisfaction, revisit intentions and loyalty. The subjects are consisted of golf course users and data collection was conducted through convenience sampling. A total of 300 samples was collected, among which 286 samples were used the final analysis. The collected data was processed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 7,0 programs for path analysis to verify each hypothesis. The results of the analysis produced the following conclusions. First, service value was not influenced by the quality of golf course services, consisting of service assurance, reliability and utility, but service empathy and responsiveness were factors that did have a positive impact on service value. Secondly, the service value of golf courses had a positive effect on cognitive and affective responses and customer satisfaction. Thirdly, the users cognitive and emotional responses regarding golf courses had a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Fourthly, the customer satisfaction experienced by golf course users did have an influence on the users loyalty, but did not have any impact on their revisit intentions. Fifthly, golf course users revisit intentions had a positive correlation to their level of loyalty.
대학 운동선수의 스포츠 수행전략이 탈진과 인지된 경기력에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of sports performance strategies on burnout and perceived performance of college athletes. Through convenience sampling method, selected 338 survey questionnaires were used for final analysis from college athletes. With the collected data, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were performed by SPSS 18.0. The results of the analysis were summarized as follows. First, the gender, grade, type of athletes, and athletes career showed significantly difference on sports performance strategies, burnout, and perceived performance. Second, the relaxation impacts positively(+) influence on emotional exhaustion, and the control of condition and imagery and goal orientation impacts negatively(-), but emotional control positively(+) influence on depersonalization. Moreover, the self-talk, control of condition, imagery and goal orientation, and relaxation impacts positively(+) influence on reduced personal accomplishment. Third, the self-talk, control of condition, imagery and goal orientation, relaxation, and emotional control impacts positively(+) influence on perceived performance. Fourth, the emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment impacts positively(+), but depersonalization impacts negatively(-) influence on perceived performance.

합산 영역 테이블은 모든 픽셀에 대해 임의의 크기 사각영역의 이미지 필터링 처리를 일정시간 안에 가능케 한다. 이러한 특성은 각각의 픽셀에 대해서 주변 픽셀의 밝기의 합 혹은 평균을 필요로 하는 이미지 처리 적용 분야에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있다. 합산 영역 테이블의 생성은 단지 행 혹은 열 단위의 합만을 구하는 메모리 바운드 작업임에도 불구하고 기존 연구들은 이미 존재하는 데이터 병렬성만을 활용하기 위하여 대기 시간이 긴 전역 메모리에 과도한 접근을 하여야만 했다. 본 논문에서는 입력 데이터를 정방의 서브 이미지로 분할하고 매개 데이터를 이들 간에 파급시킴으로써 GPGPU 환경 적합한 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 기존 방법 대비 전역 메모리 접근 량을 거의 반으로 줄임으로써 주어진 메모리 대역폭을 효율적으로 사용한다. 결과에서도 성능이 대폭 향상되었다. Summed area table allows filtering of arbitrary-width box regions for every pixel in constant time per pixel. This characteristic makes it beneficial in image processing applications where the sum or average of the surrounding pixel intensity is required. Although calculating the summed area table of an image data is primarily a memory bound job consisting of row or column-wise summation, previous works had to endure excessive access to the high latency global memory in order to exploit data parallelism. In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm for generating the summed area table in the GPGPU environment where the input is decomposed into square sub-images with intermediate data that are propagated between them. By doing so, the global memory access is almost halved compared to the previous methods making an efficient use of the available memory bandwidth. The results show a substantial increase in performance.
