        국내 요양원 종사자를 위한 감염관리 현장자문 및 교육 효과

        Background: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of on-site consultation and education by infection control nurses for infection prevention and control (IPAC) improvement in nursing homes. Methods: Using a one-group, pretest-posttest design, this study was conducted in 47 nursing homes over 4 months. The program was introduced after evaluating educational needs following two times on-site visiting; monitoring of IPAC level, 2 h consultations on IPAC by infection control nurses, and 4 h face-to-face education based on the educational needs and firstvisit assessment. IPAC awareness and satisfaction with the on-site consultation and education program were evaluated before and after the program using structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test, t-test, Fisher’s exact test, and paired t-test with SPSS Win 27 program. Results: After introducing on-site consultation and education, significant improvement in the IPAC system level (83.5% vs. 88.2%, P<.001), awareness (4.54±0.32 vs. 4.78±0.43, P<.001), and performance (4.19±0.92 vs. 4.80±0.63, P<.001) of IPAC were noted. The level of satisfaction with the infection control due to on-site consultation and education was high (9.34±1.39). Conclusion: This finding suggests that the on-site problem-solving education and consultation of the IPAC program had a significant impact on the level of IPAC system, awareness, and performance of IPAC in nursing homes. IPAC visiting education should be expanded to nursing homes.

        간호학생의 의료관련감염예방 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Purpose: This study was done to investigate the level of nursing students’ awareness, attitude, safety climate, and performance of infection control, and to identify factors influencing performance. Methods: The sample consisted of 239 nursing students from 5 nursing schools. Data were collected from November 15 to December 11, 2013 and analyzed by frequency, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple stepwise regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Of the participants, 216 (90.4%) had experienced contact with infectious diseases. The performance of personal hygiene was scored the highest followed by standard precautions, transmission precautions, and vaccination. There were significant correlations between awareness, attitude, safety-climate and performance. Awareness, safety-climate, attitude, contents of infection control education, and direct exposure to infectious disease collectively explained 30% of the variance in performance, and awareness was the most influential factor. Conclusion: The results indicate that performance of infection control by nursing students can be increased if awareness, safety climate, attitude, and contents of infection control education are improved, and exposure to infectious disease is decreased. These findings can be utilized to improve performance by developing education programs for infection control.

        과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 적용한 야외지질학습에서 나타나는 조별 모델 구성과정 이해: 제약조건을 중심으로

        Purpose of this study is understanding of group modeling process focusing on constraints with geological field trip applied on social-construction of scientific model. This study was carried out on 12 students of 3 groups who participate in the study ‘S’ gifted education center. Students were conducted to theme of ‘How was formation of Mt. Gwanak?’ on 2 field trip classes and 3 modeling classes. Semi-structured interviews, all discourse of field trip and modeling classes, records of personal and group activity were analyzed to constraints based on theoretical background proposed by Nersessian (2008). Results as follows. First, sources of constraints are scientific knowledge, contents observed by students during field trips and additional materials things to be explained by model during modeling class with geological field trip applied on social-construction of scientific model. Second, there are 3 types of constraints to affect making group modeling. It is that shared constraint which used commonly by all the group members. It called selected constraint that used during the initial modeling and later were reflected on for use in the group modeling. And it is that generated constraints, which were not in the initial modeling but were used later in the group modeling. This study suggests that not only the constraints can help to understand of making group model through how they used but also show that example of learning with geological field trip on social-construction of scientific model to contribute school science. 본 연구의 목적은 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 적용한 야외지질학습에서 학생들이 만드는 조별 모델 구성 과정에 대해 제약조건을 중심으로 이해하는 것이다. S 영재원 지구과학분과 3조, 12명의 학생들을 대상으로 진행하였다. ‘관악산은 어떻게 형성되었을까?’를 주제로 야외지질답사 2차시, 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업 3차시로 진행하였다. 조별 모델 구성과정에 관해서는 Nersessian (2008)이 제시한 제약조건을 이론적 근거로 하여 반-구조화된 인터뷰, 야외지질답사, ‘과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업’의 모든 담화, 활동지를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째야외지질학습에 적용한 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업에 나타난 제약조건의 출처는 과학 이론, 야외지질답사에서 관찰한 내용, 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업에서 추가로 제공된 것이 있었다. 두 번째 조별 모델링에 영향을 미치는 3 가지 종류의 제약조건이 있다. 조별 모델에는 조별 구성원 모두가 동일하게 가지고 있던 것으로 ‘공통적인 제약조건’,조별 구성원 일부가 가지고 있던 것 중 조별 모델에 반영된 ‘채택된 제약조건’, 마지막으로 초기 모델에는 없었으나 조별 모델 구성과정에서 새롭게 나타난 ‘생성된 제약조건’이 있었다. 이번 연구는 학교 과학에서 제약조건을 기반으로 조별 모델이 만들어지는 과정을 이해할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 야외지질학습이라는 수업 사례를 보여줌으로서 실제 적용하는데 이바지 하고자 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

        감염관리담당인력을 위한 감염관리교육프로그램 운영실태 및 교육요구에 관한 연구

        This study was the basic data necessary to develop a training program for infection control personnel by understanding the present status and needs of infection control training programs. This is a mixed-method research using a mixture of descriptive surveys and focus interviews. A descriptive study was conducted in 9 institutions that satisfied the criteria as a training institution for those working in infection control office under the Enforcement Rules of the Medical Service Act. For the study, a survey was conducted from October 31 to November 7, 2022. Focus group interviews were conducted separately with six doctors and six nurses. Survey results showed that 31 training programs on infection control were conducted in 2022 at the nine institutions, with 5,179 participants and an average duration of 9.32 hours. About 64.5% of the cases were participants of the training program involved in two or more occupations, and there was no separate training program for other participants recognized by the heads of medical institutions. As for the training methods, face-to-face and online schemes showed similar results in the survey, but the subjects preferred face-to-face education. In this study, there was a lack of specialized training programs tailored to various types of medical institutions and training programs targeting some occupations. Therefore, cooperative efforts by each organization are needed to establish governance to set up a step-by-step infection control education system that can meet education demans and provide systematic education, such as integrating or developing new programs.

        과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 통한 과학 영재 학생들의 모델링 능력 변화

        본 연구의 목적은 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 통한 학생들의 모델링 능력 변화를 ‘모델과 모델링에 관한 인식’과 ‘모델링 실행’의 두 측면으로 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해, 중학교 2학년 학생 41명을 대상으로 천문학 내용과 관련하여 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 실시하고, 수업 전과 후에 각각 모델링 능력 검사를 실시하였다.검사 결과 학생들의 ‘모델과 모델링에 관한 인식’은 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업을 통해 더 진보된 관점으로 변화하였다. 학생들은 사회적 구성 활동을 통해 모델을 이용하여 자신의 생각을 표현할 수있다는 것과, 하나의 현상을 설명할 수 있는 복수의 과학적 모델이 존재하며, 과학적 모델이 변화할 수 있음을 인식하게 되었다. 학생들의 ‘모델링 실행’의 변화는 사전과 사후의 수준 변화에 따라 4 가지유형(모델링 수준 상승 유형, 모델링 수준 하강 유형, 높은 수준 유지유형, 낮은 수준 유지 유형)으로 나누어졌다. 과학적 모델의 사회적구성 수업을 통해 대부분의 학생들의 ‘모델링 실행’ 수준이 상승하였다. 이러한 변화는 학생들로 하여금 자신의 모델을 다른 모델과 비교하고 경쟁할 수 있는 기회를 제공한 사회적 구성 활동에 영향을 받은것으로 나타났다. 한편, 일부의 학생들은 오히려 ‘모델링 실행’ 수준이 내려가거나 변화가 없었다. 이 학생들의 학교 과학 성적은 비교적 우수했으며, 정확한 정답을 찾아 시험에서 좋은 성적을 얻는 것을 학습의 목표로 여기고 있었다. 이것은 전통적인 수업방식에 길들여진 학생들이 증거를 기반으로 지식을 구성해가는 과정을 중시하는 과학적 모델의 사회적 구성 수업 방식에 더 큰 어려움을 겪을 수 있다는것을 말해준다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the changes of students’ modeling ability in terms of ‘meta-modeling knowledge’ and ‘modeling practice’ through co-construction of scientific model. Co-construction of scientific model instructions about astronomy were given to 41 middle-school students. The students were given a before and after instruction modeling ability tests. The results show that students’ ‘meta-modeling knowledge’ has changed into a more scientifically advanced thinking about models and modeling after the instruction. Students were able to be aware that ‘they could express their thoughts using models’, ‘many models could be used to explain a single phenomena’ and ‘scientific models may change’ through co-construction modeling process. The change in the ‘modeling practice’ of the students was divided into four cases (the level improving, the level lowering, the high-level maintaining, the low-level maintaining) depending on the change of pre-posttest levels. The modeling practice level of most students has improved through the instruction. These changes were influenced by co-construction process that provides opportunities to compete and compare their models to other models. Meanwhile, the modeling practice level of few students has lowered or maintained low level. Science score of these students at school was relatively high and they thought that the goal of learning is to get a higher score in exams by finding the correct answer. This means that students who were kept well under traditional instruction may feel harder to adapt to co-construction of scientific model instruction, which focuses more on the process of constructing knowledge based on evidences.
