인천국제공항의 응급환자 발생 및 이송 현황에 관한 연구

Purpose: The study aimed to analyze the occurrence and transfer status of emergency patients at Incheon International Airport in Korea. Methods: This study design included 810 patients for eight years, from July 1, 2014 to June 31, 2022. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS statistics version 25.0. Results: For the demographics, 531 (65.6%) were males, 151 (19.5%) were in the highest age group (in their 50s), and 289 (35.9%) were foreigners. The most common place of occurrence was in protected areas in the passenger terminal, with 341 (42.1%) of cases occurring here. The time of arrival at the site (z=-3.444, p=.001), stay duration at the site (z=-8.145, p=.001), and transfer time (z=-3.623, p=.000) were all significantly longer. Conclusion: It is necessary to consider a rapid emergency transportation plan, such as developing a system that simplifies immigration procedures when emergency patients move from protected areas to general areas. Moreover, in order to quickly respond to foreign emergency patients, detailed characteristics will need to be identified. Lastly, considering the long transfer time, an instructing doctor should accompany an ambulance and actively perform advanced resuscitation.

Objects : This study is a report on treatment effect of the case that treated by using of oriental medical treatment to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) patient. Methods : The patient diagnosed with ALS was treated by using of acupuncture, physical therapy, Su-gi therapy, thermotherapy and herbal medicine during 180 days. K-ALSFRS-R score was used as the tool of treatment effect. Results : Despite the K-ALSFRS-R score reduction, the oriental medical treatment maintain the respiratory function and a speech. Conclusions : The oriental medical treatment is effective on local symptoms of ALS, but there were no functional improvement of ALS in this case study. It is necessary to have more examination about ALS
Shewanella putrefaciens 에 의한 5가 바나듐의 환원성 침전과 바나듐 레독스 흐름전지 적용 가능성

Vanadate reduction by a bacterium, Shewanella putrefaciens, was experimentally investigated under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Lactate was supplied as an electron donor. Unlike the abiotic control sample, the color of the samples inoculated with S. putrefaciens changed from yellow to deep green under both conditions over time, which indicated that V(V) became microbially reduced. Precipitates formed in the microbial samples and results of the XRD analysis showed that this was a V(IV)-bearing mineral. The concentrations of total dissolved V in microbial samples decreased over time, which suggested that S. putrefaciens reduced soluble V(V), followed by the precipitation of insoluble V(IV) solids. The results imply that microbial reduction of V(V) may be economically applied to the production of V(IV) electrolytes which demand a high cost for the operation of vanadium redox flow batteries. 박테리아인 Shewanella putrefaciens에 의한 V(V) 환원을 호기성 및 혐기성 조건에서 실험을 통하여 연구하였다. 전자공여체로는 젖산염을 공급하였다. 비생물학적 비교시료와 달리 S. putrefaciens 를 접종한 시료에서는 두 조건에서 모두 시간이 경과하며 초기의 노란색이 점차 진한 초록색으로변화하여 V(V)가 미생물학적으로 환원됨을 확인하였다. 미생물 시료에서는 침전물이 형성되었으며, XRD 분석 결과 이는 V(IV)를 함유한 광물인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 미생물 시료에서는 용액 내총 용존 바나듐 함량이 시간에 따라 점차 감소하여, S. putrefaciens에 의해 용존 V(V)가 환원된 후고체로 침전됨을 의미하였다. 이러한 결과는 바나듐 레독스 흐름전지 비용 중 많은 부분을 차지하는 V(IV) 전해질 제조에 미생물학적 V(V) 환원이 경제적으로 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 나타낸다.

Objective: This study is aimed to investigate whether surgical strategies for adult spinal deformity (ASD) treatment differed among Korean physicians. Methods: This study is retrospective questionnaire-based study. ASD is challenging to manage, with a broad range of clinical and radiological presentations. To investigate possible nationality- or ethnicity-related differences in the surgical strategies adopted for ASD treatment, the International Spine Study Group surveyed physicians’ responses to 16 cases of ASD. We reviewed the answers to this survey from Korean physicians. Korean orthopedic surgeons (OS) and neurosurgeons (NS) received a questionnaire containing 16 cases and response forms via email. After reviewing the cases, physicians were asked to indicate whether they would treat each case with decompression or fusion. If fusion was chosen, physicians were also asked to indicate whether they would perform 3-column osteotomy. Retrospective chi-square analyses were performed to investigate whether the answers to each question differed according to training specialty or amount of surgical experience. Results: Twenty-nine physicians responded to our survey, of whom 12 were OS and 17 were NS. In addition, 18 (62.1%) had more than 10 years of experience in ASD correction and were assigned to the M10 group, while 11 (37.9%) had less than 10 years of experience and were assigned to the L10 group. We found that for all cases, the surgical strategies favored did not significantly differ between OS and NS or between the M10 and L10 groups. However, for both fusion surgery and 3-column osteotomy, opinions were divided regarding the necessity of the procedures in 4 of the 16 cases. Conclusion: The surgical strategies favored by physicians were similar for most cases regardless of their training specialty or experience. This suggests that these factors do not affect the surgical strategies selected for ASD treatment, with patient clinical and radiological characteristics having greater importance.
급속 충전 정보를 활용한 버스 차량 충전 전력 분배 기법

충전기 인프라 시설은 일정한 전력 공급량을 기반으로 설계 및 설치되어 있다. 초기 설계된 충전 시설은 급속히 성장하는 전기 차량의 충전을 한정된 공급 전력량 기반으로 지원한다. 또한, 현재 상용차량은 완전 충전만 가능하며, 급속 균등 충전 방식으로 지원된다. 하지만 상용차량은 정해진 스케줄에 따라 운영되기에 탄력적인 충전이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 전기 차량의 급속한 성장 및 증가에 따라 동일 전력량을 기반으로 상용 버스의 고정 스케줄 기반 충전 스케쥴링 및 전력 분배 기법을 활용하여 20%이상 효율 향상된 전력 운영방안을 제시한다. Charger infrastructure facilities are designed and installed based on a constant power supply. Initially designed charging facilities support charging of rapidly growing electric vehicles on a limited power supply basis. In addition, current commercial vehicles can only be fully charged, and are supported by the rapid equalization charging method. However, commercial vehicles operate according to a set schedule, so flexible charging is essential. In this paper, we propose a power operation method with more than 20% efficiency improvement by using a fixed schedule-based charging scheduling and power distribution technique of a commercial bus based on the same amount of power in accordance with the rapid growth and increase of electric vehicles.

In the present study, exposure to heavy metals by consumption of edible seaweeds (green laver, laver, hijiki, sea tangle, and sea mustard) was assessed based on their concentrations of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), and mercury (Hg). The mean of heavy metal concentrations were 0.006–0.023 mg/kg for Pb, 0.037–0.156 mg/kg for Cd, 1.117–15.928 mg/kg for As, and 0.008–0.021 mg/kg for Hg. In multivariate analysis, the correlations were high between Pb levels in sea mustard, Cb levels in laver, and As and Hg level in Hijiki. However, the estimated daily intake and target hazard quotient (THQ) of the heavy metals in edible seaweeds were below their approved limits suggesting no health risks associated with seaweed consumption by Koreans.
