Doxorubicin 매개 세포독성에 대한 Nrf2 경로의 역할

The use of doxorubicin, which is one of the most effective anticancer agents, is often limited by occurrence of acquired resistance in tumor cells. GSH has been shown to be involved in the development of this drug resistance. Transcription factor Nrf2 governs the expression of GSH synthesizing glutamylcysteine ligase (GCL), as well as multiple phase 2 detoxifying enzymes. Here we show that Nrf2 is one of factors determining doxorubicin sensitivity. Nrf2-deficient fibroblasts (murine embryonic fibroblasts, MEF) were more susceptible to doxorubicin mediated cell death than wild-type cells. Doxorubicin treatment elevated levels of Nrf2-regulated genes including NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase (Nqo1) and GCL in wild-type fibroblasts, while no induction was observed in Nrf2-deficient cells. Doxorubicin resistance in human ovarian SK-OV cells was reversed by treatment with L-buthionine-sulfoxamine (BSO), which is depleting intracellular GSH. Finally, transfection of SK-OV cells with Nrf2 siRNA resulted in exacerbated cytotoxicity following doxorubicin treatment compared to scrambled RNA control. These results indicate that the Nrf2 pathway, which plays a protective role in normal cells, can be a potential target to control cancer cell resistance to anticancer agents.

본 연구는 광 출력이 조정이 가능한 UV Lamp용 안정기에 관한 연구이다. UV Lamp는 하수 종말 처리장의 하수 처리에 사용되고 있는데, 기존의 UV Lamp용 안정기는 처리되는 하수의 양과 관계없이 일정한 출력을 내는 방식으로 항상 일정의 전력을 소모하였다. 본 연구에서는 하수의 양에 따라 광 출력을 최대 출력의 50%까지 안정기에서 조정하는 방식으로 하수의 양이 적을 시에는 광 출력을 줄여 전력의 소모를 줄일 수 있고, 아울러 고가의 UV Lamp의 수명을 연장할 수 있어 UV Lamp 및 교체 비용의 감소를 기대할 수 있다.

어린이 통학 버스 사고로 인하여 어린 나이에 안타깝게 목숨을 잃거나 크게 다치는 사고가 매년 발생하고 있다. 사고 요인 중 가장 빈번하게 발생하는 사고는 어린이 통학버스 갇힘 사고, 사각지대 미확인 사고 등이며, 이를 예방하기 위하여 연구를 기획하게 되었다. 적외선 송수신 센서를 통해 통학버스에 몇 명이 타고 있는지에 대한 정보를 제공하고, 초음파 센서와 적외선 거리 감지 센서를 이용하여 버스 사각지대에 대한 대책을 마련하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여, 어린이 통학버스 사고에 대한 위험과 발생 빈도를 줄일 수 있을 것이라고 기대된다. Accidents that lose children’s lives or seriously injur them at a young age occur every year due to children"s school bus accidents. The most frequent accidents are children"s trapping in school buses and unidentifying problem of blind spots. Therefore, this research was planned to prevent these accidents. Information on how many people are on the school bus was provided through infrared transmission/reception sensors, and counter-measures were taken against bus blind spots using ultrasonic sensors and infrared distance detection sensors. Through this research, it can be expected that the risk and accidents of children"s school bus accidents can be lowered.

LSMs are installed under girders along the long track. In order to improve the efficiency of the LSM long stator LSM should be divided into the specified length and the propulsion inverters should have the system topology to generate high voltage and current for LSMs. This paper presents a system topology with two-step inverter in order to generate high voltage in inverter. A LSM propulsion system is developed and implemented in Maltab/Simulink. A system model of the two-step Inverter is applied to developed model. This paper demonstrates through simulation advantages of multi-step inverter. The conclusions can serve the design of LSM propulsion system.

This study deals with the design and characteristics analysis on a linear synchronous motor (LSM) with a long stator and phase concentrated winding (PCW) to apply for a propulsion system such as a roller coaster for leisure facilities. First of all, the required propulsion force of LSM is computed and its design with double sided permanent magnets (PMs) and a phase concentrated winding is processed. The phase concentrated winding is composed of a module with each A, B, and C phase unlike an conventional concentrated winding (CW). It has an advantage of the installation and manufacture, compared to the conventional concentrated winding in the propulsion system for leisure facilities that have a long acceleration area and stator configuration placed on rail continuously. Thus, the design for the propulsion system and characteristics comparison between the phase concentrated winding and concentrated winding are carried out in this paper. Also, the analysis on dynamic characteristics is conducted to confirm the performance at operation.

In this paper, paint-free metallic plastic material, polypropylene (PP) and acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) materials were investigated on the applications for bumper skid plate and outside mirror housing parts. In order to maximize metallic effect, type, size and content of aluminum pigment were optimized based on flop index. Hybrid aluminum pigments with different aspect ratios were used to conceal weld lines. By controlling the fluidity of the material, the flow mark problem, generated on the surface of the part, was resolved. We also investigated the surface defects of flow and weld lines by using the developed modeling and simulation.
