In this study, the porous ceramic filter was developed to be able to remove both dust and hazardous gas contained in fuel gas at high temperature. The porous ceramic filters were fabricated and used as a catalyst support. And the effects have been investigated such as the mean particle size, organic content and addition of foaming agent on the porosity, compressive strength and pressure drop of ceramic filters. With the increase of mean powder size and the organic content for the cordierite filter, the porosity was increased, but the compressive strength and pressure drop were decreased. From the results of the research, the optimum condition for the fabrication of ceramic filters could be acquired and they had the porosity of 58%, the compressive strength of 13.4 MPa and the pressure drop of 250 Pa. It was expected that this ceramic filter was able to be applied to the glass melting furnace, combustor, and dust/toxic gas removal filter.

Ceramic filter was prepared using cordierite powder and it was coated with $V_2O_5$ catalyst by vacuum impregnation method. The filter had the apparent porosity of 58 %, the compressive strength of 10 MPa and the pressure drop of 1200 Pa at the face velocity of 5 cm/see and 400$^{\circ}C$. $NO_x$ removal efficiency of only $V_2O_5$ coated on cordierite filter showed the removal efficiency of 80 %, and it was improved up to 90 % by increasing specific surface area of filter elements from the acid treatment. The high surface area is due to the removal of Mg and Al ions from the silicate structure and subsequent generation of free amorphous silicate on the surface of the cordierite. 코디어라이트를 원료로 하여 다공성 세라믹 필터를 제조하였고, 진공함침법으로 $V_2O_5$ 촉매를 코팅하였다. 제조된 세라믹 필터의 기공률은 58%, 압축강도는 10 MPa, 400$^{\circ}C$, 5 cm/sec의 유속에서 압력손실은 1,200 Pa이었다. $V_2O_5$ 촉매의 경우 $NO_x$에 대해 80% 이상의 처리효율을 나타내었고, 산처리에 의한 필터의 비표면적 증가를 통해 처리효율을 약 10%개선할 수 있었다. 이는 필터의 비표면적 증가를 통해 코팅된 촉매의 분산성을 향상시킴으로써 촉매의 활성점이 증대되었기 때문으로 판단된다.

Recently, it is developed a variety of electrical contacts on the switch. The contacts will be processed for 2.30 of embossing type as a three-cladding material (Ag-Cu-Fe) used. Embossing type of electrical contacts are working to increase the hardness without plate thickness of the material and local plastic deformation of the shape in process. In this study, we are made of contact in total of 5 spot embossing and measured outside diameter, depth in jig pin by using microscope, respectively. We were found that the important of height, outside diameter of embossing because of spot process for joined bimetal and contact in processing of manufacture thermostat. The pin was formed by the processing for HSS material by E.D.M (electrical discharge machine)
S_N1 치환 반응에 의한 N-불포화 알킬카르바졸 유도체의 합성에 관한 연구

N-unsaturated alkylcarbazole derivatives were synthesized by the unimolecular nucleophilic substitution(S_Nl) of a carbazole with an unsaturated alkyl chloride. The reaction between the carbazole and unsaturated alkyl chloride was conducted in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) containing an alkali (NaOH or KOH) for 4hrs under nitrogen atmosphere at room temperature. At this time the mole ratios between the carbazole alkali and unsaturated alkyl chloride were found to be 1 : 6 : 1, 1 : 3 : 1 and 1 : 1 : 1, respectively. All the compounds including starting materials and reaction products were characterized by CHN analysis ^1H-NMR and FT - IR spectroscopy.

The optimum condition for fabricating cordierite disc type filter element was deduced. Cordierite monolith was used as starting material for filter element because it has many advantages such as high thermal shock resistance and good catalytic activity compared with $TiO_2$and SiC. The contents of organic additives and foaming agent were optimized to control the porosity and mechanical strength of cordierite filter. Among the required properties to be adopted as filter elements, the pressure drop and NOx removal efficiency were investigated depending on processing variables. It was found that pressure drop depends on particle size distribution of cordierite monolith and organic additives added as forming agent. The pressure drop at 5cm/sec of face velocity was in the range of 15~655mm$H_2O$ at room temperature. The NOx removal efficiency of catalytic filter with $V_2O_5$ as catalyst was over 85% at $450^{\circ}C$.
촉매를 담지한 코디어라이트 필터의 VOC 제거 특성에 관한 연구

porous filters were manufactured using cordierite powder whose mean particle size was 200 ㎛, they were loaded with catalysts such as Pt, Pd, Cu, Co, La, V2O5 by vacuum impregnation method. And we investigated the activity of catalysts used for catalytic oxidation of VOC by passing toluene through catalyst-loaded filters. The porous filters had the apparent porosity of 62%, the compressive strength of about 10 MPa and the pressure drop of 15 mmHg at the face velocity of 5 cm/sec. The loading of catalyst decreased the porosity of the filters and increased the pressure drop and the compressive strength of them. Among the catalysts, Pt had the highest activity for catalytic oxidation and could remove more than 90% of toluene at 250 . Below 250 , the content of Pt catalyst had an influence on the conversion of toluene but didn't show any influence above 250 .
