CATV 망에서의 고속 DATA 서비스를 위한 적정 셀 규모에 관한 연구

Recently the surrounding of data communication industry has been changing through the rapid growth of the information technology, which has been sparked by the convergence of computer and optical fiber technology. This phenomenon requires broadband network to transmit video, audio and data at once. Multimedia and broadband services are provided widely over the Internet. The traditional telephone companies, CATV operators, and Internet service providers are all rushing to provide integrated services over their infra-structures. Among them, CATV seems to be the most promising from an economic perspective, because CATV infrastructure is already in place in a majority of homes and can deliver broadband service without requiring costly upgrade of the existing CATV systems. In this paper, analysis the problem of data services over CATV network, suggest size the proper cell for the high speed data services over CATV network.

A new method of stbilizing the sagnac interferometric fiber optic current sensor inteh presence of birefringences and phase is presented. This method is realized by dividing the output of the ac current signal with the modulation signal output. Using the technique the stability of the current sensor was improve dmore than 4.5 times at 800Arms for 2 hours. The current sensor also shows good linearity up to 100Arms.
A Study of the Application of DNP/RTU in Power SCADA System

KEPCO started it's adoption from 1980. At that time RTU(Remote Terminal Unit)'s capacity is 250 point but after that unmaned substation and automation of field's equipment operation is wide-spread. It requires over 1000 points per 1 substation RTU's capacity, so the electric-power equipment for control cable increases abundant and oversize in RTU. Also to be caused by in speed and data process delay. it felt a limit in the electric-power equipment operation for a high reliability and the new thing was demanded. To solve this problem we developed DNP RTU. The special feature this system is that each module contains within 10 points, is located in the electric. This system saves human power and material s loss, remote management, itself diagnosis ability, control-cable and RTU's space. This makes reduce human accident, improves electric equipment's operation environment.
전력제어 통신 시스템의 에러 감소를 위한 ICCP 적용 방안

Because of capacity of the electric power equipment grew larger and the electric power system was complicated, it was required a protocol to process data without the errors in order to supply the high quality and stable electric power. However, HDLC and TCP/IP communication protocol using between Seoul EMS and Kwangju RCC (or between RCC and SCC) is decreasing reliability by the delay of speed and the occurrence of errors. In this paper, we applied ICCP(Inter-Control Center Communication Protocol) communication protocol in order to improve them and implemented an electric power communication system for remote control of the electric power equipment. Also, we modified program for error correction and implemented the system using the most suitable BLT. The errors were more decreased in case of ICCP protocol than HDLC protocol and TCP/IP protocol applied to the electric power communication system. 전력설비의 용량이 커지고 전력계통이 복잡해짐으로서 고품질과 안정적인 전력공급을 하기 위해 각 계층간에 연계되는 데이터를 에러 없이 처리하는 프로토콜을 요구하게 되었다. 그러나 서울(EMS)과 광주(RCC) 또는 RCC와 SCC에 사용하고 있는 HDLC나 TCP/IP 통신 프로토콜은 속도의 지연, 에러 발생 등으로 신뢰성을 감소시키고 있다. 이론 개선하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 ICCP 통신 프로토콜을 적용하여 전력 설비의 원거리 제어를 위한 전력 통신시스템을 구현하였다. 오류보정을 위해서 프로그램을 수정하였으며, BLT 최적 조건을 적용하여 구현하였다. 전력통신 시스템에 ICCP 프로토콜을 적용하였을 경우 HDLC와 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 적용한 경우보다 에러가 감소하였다.
