최소운영수입보장 조항을 지닌 BTO PF 민자도로 사업의 채무불이행 위험 완화효과

본 연구는 민간사업자의 사업참여를 돕기 위해 전 세계적으로 널리 활용되고 있는 MRG 조항을 포함하는 BTO PF 민자도로 사업이 지닌 채무불이행 위험의 완화효과를 평가함으로써 사회간접자본의 공급에 있어 공공과 민간 사업자의 위험관리를 위한 이론적 틀과 관련된 시사점을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 MRG 계약조항 및 BTO PF 민자도로 사업 고유의 금융구조를 고려한 현금흐름모형을 금융 · 경제이론을 토대로 구현한 후, 채무불이행 위험 완화효과의 정량적 가치를 평가하기 위해 실물옵션이론에 기반한 금융모형을 구성하였다. 그리고 이를 BTO PF 민자도로 사례에 적용한 후, 주요 변수를 대상으로 민감도 분석을 실행하였다. 연구결과, MRG 조항과 BTO 민자도로 사업의 금융구조는 민간 사업자의 채무불이행 위험을 완화시켰으며 그 정량적 가치는 상당함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 채무불이행 위험의 완화효과는 MRG 조항의 수준 및 무위험 이자율과는 반비례하고 시장수익률 및 사업 수익률의 변동성과는 비례하는 것으로 나타나 사업 내외의 환경이 수익성을 저해하는 방향으로 변화할 때 채무불이행 위험의 완화효과는 증대되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. This research tries to propose implications related to the theoretical framework for risk management of public entities and private developers in the supply of SOC by assessing the mitigation effect of default risk in BTO PF privatized road including MRG agreement. To do so, this paper establishes a cash flow model based on financial and economic theory considering the MRG agreement and the unique financial structure involved in BTO PF road project, and then constructs a financial model with real option theory to assess the quantitative value of default risk mitigation effects. And, after applying this to the BTO PF privatized road case, this research goes through sensitivity analysis on key variables. Finally, results driven from are that the financial structure of BTO PF road project and the MRG agreement seem to have an impact on default risk mitigation for private developers and its quantitative value is significant. In addition, the mitigation effect of default risk is inversely proportional to the level of the MRG agreement and the risk-free interest rate and proportional to the market rate of return and volatility of underlying asset, indicating that the mitigation effect of default risk increases as the environment changes in a direction that undermines profitability of project.

Klebsiella pneumoniae Liver Abscess

Since the mid 1980s, the prevalence of liver abscess caused by hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae strain has increased in Asia, particularly in Taiwan and Korea. This strain is mostly K1 or K2 serotype, and has hypercapsular and hypermucoid phenotypes. Most infections are community acquired, and patients rarely have a hepatobiliary disease prior to infection. Clinical manifestations are characterized by fever and high C-reactive protein, and metastatic infections, such as septic emboli in the lung and endophthalmitis and meningitis are frequently observed. Antibiotic resistance is rare. Antibiotic treatment and abscess drainage are needed, and early diagnosis and treatment of endophthalmitis is also important.

데이터 마이닝 기술을 이용한 웹 분석 시스템의 개발

최근 웹 분석 시스템은 단순히 통계 정보를 이용한 분석을 넘어서서 웹 마이닝 기술을 이용한 웹 분석 시스템의 형태로 변화하고 있다. 이는 기존의 단순 통계 분석으로는 점차 거대하고 복잡해져가는 현재의 웹 사이트를 분석하는 데 한계가 있기 때문이다. 따라서 앞으로 웹 분석 시스템은 웹 마이닝 기술을 활용한 다양한 측면의 연구와 구현이 이루어 질 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 웹 마이닝 기술을 이용한 웹 마이닝 분석 시스템을 구현하여 웹 마이닝 기술에 대한 분석과 응용을 고찰한다. 또한, 실제로 한양대학교 웹사이트를 대상으로 웹 분석 시스템을 설계 구현함으로써 웹 마이닝 기술을 이용한 웹 분석 시스템의 가능성을 타진한다.

Appraisal of Revenue Cap Agreement in BOT Project Finance

Limited public funds for infrastructures have the government consider joining the private in a BOT project finance scheme. Generally, the BOT projects entail lots of managerial flexibilities that may induce the radical change of project's cash flows, an asymmetric payoff, when facing on the uncertainties comes from the BOT project finance's unique characteristics. Among various managerial flexibilities occur in the BOT projects, the revenue cap agreement is frequently used to protect the government from the private's revenue exploitation. However, its impact on the project value is not well understood because the popular capital budgeting theory, NPV(Net Present Value) analysis, is limited to assess the contingency of this agreement. The purpose of this paper is to develop the numerical model to better assess the impact of the revenue cap agreement on the project value with the concept of the option pricing theory and to suggest a theoretical framework in quantitatively evaluating this agreement. The approach applied in this paper is justified with the hypothetical BOT toll case to show its applicability and some meaningful conclusions are drawn from. The results by the option pricing concept are scrutinized over those by NPV analysis and, finally, the revenue cap value appears significant relative to the project value.

Developing rice lines with various amylose contents is necessary to diverse usages of rice in terms of raw materials for processed food production, and thereby to promote rice consumption in Korea. A rice mutant line, ‘Namil(SA)-dull1’ was established through sodium azide mutagenesis on ‘Namil’, a non-glutinous Korean Japonica rice cultivar. Namil(SA)-dull1’ had dull endosperm characteristics and the evaluated amylose content was 12.2%. A total of 94 F2 progenies from a cross between ‘Namil(SA)-dull1’ and ‘Milyang23’, a non-glutinous Tongil-type rice cultivar, was used for genetic studies on the endosperm amylose content. Association analyses, between marker genotypes of 53 SSR anchor markers and evaluated amylose contents of each 94 F2:3 seeds, initially localized rice chromosome 6 as the harboring place for the modified allele(s) directing low amylose content of ‘Namil(SA)-dull1’. By increasing SSR marker density on the putative chromosomal region followed by association analyses, the target region was narrowed down 0.94 Mbp segment, expanding from 28.95 Mbp to 29.89 Mbp, on rice chromosome 6 pseudomolecule. Among the SSR loci, RM7555 explained 84.2% of total variation of amylose contents in the F2 population. Further physical mapping on the target region directing low amylose content of ‘Namil(SA)-dull1’ would increase the breeding efficiency in developing promising rice cultivars with various endosperm characteristics.

전신성 항진균제와 임상적 이용

In the past, even two decades ago, it was not easy for the physicians to diagnose the systemic fungal infection especially in immuno-compromised host. However, as malignant neoplasm and organ transplantation increased, the incidence of fungal infection became heightened. Also the development of newer technique of microbiology and computerized imaging methods made it relatively easy to diagnose the fungal infection. Several new antifungal agents developed recently. It is necessary for us to prescribe the antifungal agents optimally. We summarized amphotericin B lipid formulations, newer triazoles, echinocandins 전신성 진균감염에 대하여 개발된 항진균제로 이미 기술된 fluconazole, itraconazole을 제외한 ampho- tericin B lipid formulation인 AmB colloidal dispersion ([ABCD] Amphocil or Amphotec), AmB lipid complex ([ABLC] Abelcet), a small unilamellar vesicle liposomal formulation ([L-AmB] AmBisome)과 triazole계의 vori- conazole, ravuconazole, posaconazole 그리고 echino- candin계의 caspofungin, micafungin, anidulafungin의 약리학적 특성과 임상 적응증에 대하여 간략히 정리하였다.
