This study is made up of the analysis of the health records and the questionnaires on wearing glasses and contact lenses. The subjects of 1,859 students were selected in their third grade of high school in December 1986. Those who were divided into 582 boys and 604 girls in the liberal, and 673 boys in the vocational. The glasses-wearing rates for boys' liberal high school students, girls' liberal high school students and boys' vocational school students are 55.0%, 61.1% and 24.7%, respectively. The wearing rates of the liberal high school students are much higher than those of the vocational high school students. The glasses-wearing rates increase slowly in the elementary school days, but remarkably increase between the first grade of middle school and that of high school. About 64% of the students wearing glasses began to wear glasses during the latter period. The visual acuities at the time to begin to wear glasses are 0.3, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 in the order. About 80% of the wearers began to wear glasses below 0.5. In the high score rate of the preliminary examination for college, the glasses-wearing students' rate is higher than that of the non-wearers. Ninty-five percent or more of the causes for their poor eyesight are not genetic but just acquired in the course of their lifetime, owing to the overuses of their eyes. It appears that the wearing-rate of the glasses wearing students' parents is higher than that of non-wearers' parents(p<0.01).
랫드 수초좌골신경섬유에서 Neurofascin분포에 대한 면역세포화학적 연구

Neurofascin은 L1CAM의 하나로 신경섬유의 발달과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 말초신경의 수초형성과 관련된 neurofascin의 역할을 알아볼 목적으로 면역형광염색과 면역전자현미경기법을 이용하여 랫드의 수초좌골신경섬유에서 neurofascin의 분포를 추구하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1.수초형성이 진행됨에 따라 좌골신경섬유에서 neurofascin 분포는 매우 심하게 변화되었다. 2. 수초신경섬유에서 neurofascin은 Ranvier마디에서 약하게 국재하였다. 3. Neurofascin은 수초신경섬유의 paranodal loop, Schmidt-Lantermann incisure, 속축삭사이막, 바깥축삭사이막처럼 Schwann세포의 막이 밀착되지 않은 부위에서도 뚜렷하게 국재하였다. 이상의 연구결과로 neurofascin은 Schwann세포의 마주보는 막사이에 이상적인 간격을 유지하는데 어떤 역할을 하는 것으로 생각되며, 수초층에서 물질이동이 가능하게 하는 것으로 보인다. Neurofascin, one of the members of L1CAM, has been known to have some important roles during the development of nerve fibers. In order to investigate the role of neurofascin associated with the myelination of peripheral nerves, the localization of neurofascin in myelinated rat sciatic nerve fibers was studied with the immuno-fluorescence and immune-electron microscopy and the results are as follows; 1. According to the myelination is going on, neurofascin localization was dramatically changed in the sciatic nerve fibers. 2. In the myelinated fibers, neurofascin was weakly localized along the axolemma at the node of Ranvier. 3. Neurofascin was also apparantly localized at the non-compact area of Schwann cell membrane such as paranodal loop, Schmidt-Lantermann incisure, inner & outer mesaxons in the myelinated fibers. From the above results, neurofascin is likely to have a role to sustain the ideal gap of apposing membranes of Schwann cell, so it may enable to materials transport in the myelin sheath.

It is very important to conserve recreation areas well through harmony of preservation and use. Regarding the recreation areas in Korea even National Parks, over-crowded use is the biggest outstanding problem and especially congestion by visitors' convergence in spring and autumn is the core of the problem. The purpose of this study is to find out and propose management scheme for visitors' congestion solution. For this, first, theories about system and techniques for recreation areas management were studied, and research cases of inside and outside of the country, surveying and investigating the management of the visitors in recreation areas were synthetically examined. According to the result of investigation, to manage the visitors congestion, it is necessary to introduce the scheme of visitor restriction and for this, Optimal Carrying Capacity of each recreation area should be established in advance. Concerning practical introduction of schemes, reservation system operation founded on booking system beforehand. Enforcing congestion forecast if essential and it should be performed in company with congestion forecast by regular broadcasting media in peak season, operation of national unified information center, operation and construction of farecast system by internet, TIS operation structure.
Delay Switching PLL의 Pull-in 특성

본 논문에서는 PLL의 pull-in 특성을 개선하기 위하여 delay switching PL난을 제시하였다. phase detector와 low grass filter사이에 간단한 RC delay회로를 삽입하고, 90° shift 시킨 Phase detector출력에 의하여 delay time을 switching하였다. 그 결과 pull-in range는 lock range의 1/2이상으로 넓힐 수 있었으며 pull-in time도 개선되었다. 이 개선된 Pull-in특성은 근사적으로 해석되었으며 실험으로 확인되었다. A delay switching PLL (DSPLL) is proposed for improvement of the frequency acquisition Performance (pull-in range) while keeping a narrow bandwidth LPF. It has, between the phase detector and the LPF, just a simple RC delay circuit, a switch and another phase detector controlling the switching time. For the common second order PLL, the pull-in capability of the DSPLL is analyzed approximately, without considering additive white noise effect, and verified experimentally. It is shown that the delay switching extends the pull-in range significantly, as much as a half of lock-range. At the phase tracking mode, the delay switching does not function, to make the DSPLL be a normal PLL.

An experimental study has been performed to examine nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO) emission characteristics of a burner used for the heating medium boiler. Multi small flames those are heavily weighted fuel lean/rich region were formed on the developed burner. It can reduce emission concentration of pollutant such as NOx because of low flame temperature and equivalence ratio control. In the experimental condition, excess ratio of overall combustion zone was 1.21 for the clear combustion and it was fixed during the experiment. However, each small flames were classified into two types, fuel lean flame (excess air ratio was 0.7) and fuel rich flame (excess air ratio was 1.56). In this study, combustion air (30 ℃, 80 ℃), nozzle type (single nozzle, 45° nozzle, radial nozzle) and nozzle penetration length (-10 ㎜, +16 ㎜, 226 ㎜) were selected as a experimental variables and experiments were focused to investigate the emission characteristics of the developed burner. As a result, NOx emission was decreased to 29 ppm at flue gas O₂ 4% condition when the temperature of combustion air was 30°C and it was 35 ppm when the temperature of combustion air was 80℃.
