        보호종인 히 어 리의 자생지 내외 보전과 지역사회 협력 모델 개발 II. 순천(전남) 청소골 지역 히어리개체군의 분포특성 및 동태

        전라남도 순천시 서 면 청소골 일대에 분포하는 히어 리개체군의 분포특성과 개체군 동태를 조사하였다. 히어리개체군은 계곡부와 인접한산림 가장자리를 따라 대상으로 분포하였으며,북사면,북서사면 및 북동사면에만 분포하는 특이성을 보였다. 교목층이 형성된 삼림내에서 아교목층이나 관목층을 이루고 있으며,종조성에 있어서는 히어리가 분포하지 않는 인접지 역 삼림식생과 별다른 차이는 없었다. $25\;m^2$당 평균개체수와 개체당 평균 맹아지는 각각 6.25주 및 3개로서 다른 지 역 에 비해 낮은 밀도를 나타냈으며, 이 지 역의 히어 리개체군이 쇠퇴해가고 있음을 알 수 있었다. The dynamics and distribution characteristics of Coryjopsis coreana popujation at Cheongsogol, Sunchon, Cholanam-do, Korea, were investigated. The Coryiopsis coreana pop ulation was distributed along the forest edge and it showed characteristics which were distributed on only directional slopes of the north, northeast or northwest. The Coryjopsis coreana constituted subtree or shrub layer in the forest, and its floristic composition was basically similar to those of adjacent areas where the species does not exist. The number of stump was 6.25 per $25\;m^2$, and each stump had 3 sproutings in average. The density of the Corylopsis coreana population in the study area was lower than that in other area, which suggests the population is declining in the study area.

        보호종인 히어리의 자생지내외 보전과 지역사회 협력 모델 개발 - III. 몇 개의 히어리 자연집단과 벌채집단 간 개체군 비교

        히어리의 자연집단과 벌채집단간의 비교는 전라남도 순천시 승주읍 접치재, 월등면, 황전면, 경상남도 진주시 명석면, 경기도 포천시 백운산 5곳의 벌채지와 주변 자연림에 분포하는 히어리군락을 대상으로 비교하였다. $100m^2$당 맹아수와 개체당 평균 맹아수는 벌채 집단에서 자연집단의 것보다 더 높게 나타났다. 반면 맹아수별 수고와 직경은 자연집단에서 더 높게 나타났다. 종조성과 식생상관성은 없으며 벌채집단과 자연집단 모두에서 큰차이 없이 생육하였다. 개괄지인 벌채집단에서 근맹아 뿐만 아니라 실생묘로도 번식하였다. 이처럼 히어리는 환경적응력이 커서 인간이 훼손시킨 벌채집단에서 근맹아와 실생묘로 번식함으로써 종 자체의 소멸은 없고, 오히려 일시적인 교란이후에 개체군 확장을 보였다. The comparison of Corylopsis coreana populations between natural groups and deforestation groups is carried in five regions such as Seungju, Woldeung, Hwangjeon in Suncheon, Myeongseok in Jinju and Mt. Baegun in Pocheon. The number of sprouting per both $100m^2$ and each individual stump were appeared more in deforestation than in natural groups. In contrast, the height and the diameter of individuals by the number of sprouting are higher and larger in the natural groups. The relationship between the floristic composition and vegetation in the two groups of C. coreana populations was not appeared. Corylopsis coreana are propagated sprouting as well as seedling in deforestation groups located an opening area. Because of the powerful environmental adaptability through growth of the sprouting and the seedling in deforestation groups, the population of C. coreana are not extinction of species oneself, and on the contrary are showed expansion of C. coreana population after temporary disturbance.

        The characteristics of secondary xylem in the Pinus thunbergii infected by Matsucoccus thunbergiana appear as follows; Infection of young shoot causes bending toward the infested spot. The tracheid in infested tree was longer than that in noninfested tree. The ray in infested tree has larger number, longer height and much volume than that in noninfested ones. Even though the bast scales have mainly injured the parenchyma cells of the phloem, it also affects on the xylem to make trabecula, spiral thickenings and spiral ribs, and intercellular spaces. Particularly, secondary infection by fungi occurred in secondary xylem and finally lead the tree to death.

        한국산 거머리말(Zostera Marina L.)의 해류에 대한 형태적 적응

        The main purpose of this research is to prepare and provide basic materials for the propagational strategy of eelgrass by investigating on the morphological adaptation of Korean Zostera marina to ocean currents. An eelgrass plant mainly consists of rhizome, leaf sheath, leaves and roots. The rhizome is the horizontal stem of the plant that serves as the backbone from which the leaves and roots emerge. The leaf sheath is the bundle at the base of the leaves that holds the leaves together, protecting the meristem, the primary growth point of the shoot. Leaves originate from a meristem which is protected by a sheath at the actively growing end of the rhizome. As the shoot grows, the rhizome elongates, moving across or within the sediment, forming roots as it progresses. The aggregated leaves from the leaf sheath are found to have two cell layers on one side and multiple layers of airy tissues called aerenchyma on the other. The aerenchyma tissues are developed in multi-layered cell structures surrounding the veins which are formed in the leaf sheath. Generative shoots are made of rhizomes, which are circular or ovoidal, stem, and spathe and spadix. The transverse section of rhizome and the stem and central floral axis is found to be circular, ovoid and in the shape of convex respectively, and the vascular bundle, which is a part of transport system, has one large tube in the center and two small tubes on both sides. The layers of collenchyma cells numbered from 12 to 15 in the stem, and from 7 to 12 in the rhizome. The seed coat is composed of sclereids, small bundles of sclerenchyma tissues, which prevent the influx of sea water from the outside and help endure the environmental stress. In conclusion, alternative multi-layer structure in circular, convex type aggregated leaf base are interpreted to morphological adaption as doing tolerable elastic structure through movement of seawater. The generative shoots develop long slim stem and branches in circular or ovoidal shapes to minimize the adverse impacts of sea current, which can be interpreted as the plant`s morphological adaptation to its environment.

        다도해해상국립공원 완도 정도리 방풍림의 식생구조와 보전

        정도리 해안방풍림은 바다와 육지 사이에 위치하면서 육상 경작지나 어촌 마을을 보호하는 생태적 천이지역으로서 매우 중요한 곳이다. 정도리 방풍림 식생 중 해안가 갯돌밭 지역에서는 상동나무 망토군락을 이루며 그 안쪽에 광나무나 쥐똥나무가 아교목상으로 우점한다. 안쪽부분은 광나무-굴참나무군락, 광나무-덜꿩나무군락, 광나무-생달나무군락, 생달나무-개서나무군락 및 소나무-덜꿩나무군락으로 확인되었다. 정도리 방풍림은 교목층 평균수고는 10.3m, 평균흉고 직경은 30.3㎝로 인공 숲이지만 자연림에 가까운 이차림으로 생태학적인 보전가치가 높다. 명승 3호로 지정된 정도리 방풍림은 많은 방문객들로 인해 인위적인 간섭을 당할 가능성이 크다. 따라서 국립공원 관리공단에서는 정도리 방풍림을 보전하기 위해 지속적인 유지관리를 해야 할 것이다. 그리고 정도리 구계등 갯돌의 문화적 가치와 숲의 자연성을 고려하여 장차 문화재청은 정도리 방풍림을 명승으로뿐만 아니라 천연기념물로 지정하여 보전해야 할 것이다. The Jeongdori windbreak forests of Wando island, located between the sea and the land, are very important as ecological succession areas that protect cultivated lands and fishing villages. Among the Jeongdori windbreak forests, the rocky seashore areas are occupied by Sageretia theezans mantle community, and their inner sections by sub-tree layers such as Ligustrum japonicum and Ligustrum obtusifolium. More specifically, the inner sections of the rocky seashore areas were found to be the habitat of Ligustrum japonicum-Quercus variabilis community, Ligustrum japonicum-Viburnum erosum community, Ligustrum japonicum-Cinnamomum japonicum community, Cinnamomum japonicum-Carpinus tschonoskii community, and Pinus densiflora-Viburnum erosum community. The average height of tree layers of the Jeongdori windbreak forests is 10.3m, and the average diameter at breath height are 30.3㎝. Though the windbreak forests was artificially made, it is now virtually natural forest and deserves protection for ecological reasons. Designated as a scenic spot 3, it is always in the danger of being damaged by frequent tourist visits. So the Jeongdori windbreak forest needs to be continuous maintenance and management by the National Park Service. Considering of the precious cultural treasures of the famous pebble stones covering Gugyedeung and the naturality of the Jeongdori windbreak forests, the Jeongdori windbreak forests as a scenic spot have to designated as the national monument in future and will preserve by the Cultural Properties Administration.

        전남 북부지역의 귀화식물 분포 및 관리방안

        본 논문은 2006년 3월부터 11월까지 전라남도 북부지역 7개 시·군 지역에서 각 2곳을 선택하여 총 14개 조사 지역에서 외래식물과 귀화식물의 도시화지수를 분석하였다. 귀화식물은 26과 79속 105종 6변종 111종류로 확인되었다. 도시화지수는 함평군이 21.95%로 가장 높았으며 곡성군이 16.38%로 가장 낮았다. 귀화식물 과별 출현종류는 국화과가 36종류(32.43%)로 가장 많았고, 벼과 17종류(15.31%), 콩과 7종류(6.31%) 순이었다. 주요 귀화식물군락은 군락조성표에 따라서 아까시나무와 족제비싸리군락, 개망초군락 및 망초군락 등 21개 군락이 확인 되었다. 생태계 위해귀화식물은 털물참새피, 물참새피, 애기수영, 도깨비가지, 미국쑥부쟁이, 돼지풀 및 단풍잎돼지풀 등 7종이었다. 국가 차원에서 외래종의 통합관리방안이 필요하지만 외래종분포를 확인하여 지속적인 관리를 하는 것이 자생종의 보전과 보호에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 하게 될 것이다. This study was carried out to investigate the distribution status and UI(urbanization index) of the naturalized plants and exotic plants. For this purpose 7 cities and counties in the northern South Jeolla Province were selected and investigations were conducted on a total of 14 sites, two sites from each city or county, during the period of March to November 2006. The exotic plants were identified as 111 taxa; 26 families, 79 genera, 105 species, and 6 varieties. As for urbanization index, Hampyeong County had the highest level of urbanization(21.95%) and Gokseong County the lowest level of urbanization(16.38%). Naturalized plants classified as family were as follows: Compositae was 36 kinds(32.43%) Graminae 17 kinds(15.31%) and Leguminosae 7 kinds(6.31%). Major communities of naturalized plants consisted of 21 communities including Robinia pseudoacacia-Amorpha fruticosa community, Erigeron annuus community, Erigeron canadensis community etc. Invasive naturalized plants consisted of 7 taxa: Paspalum disticum var. indutum, Paspalum distichum, Rumex acetocella, Solanum carolinense, Aster pilosus, Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior and Ambrosia trifida. The study shows that the integrated management of exotic plants on a national scale is needed. It also recommend that a systematic and integrated management of exotic plants in the northern South Jeolla Province is crucial to preserve and protect natural species.

        광주광역시의 보호수와 기후변화 취약성 및 대응

        The legally protected trees distributed in Gwangju City is 68 individuals belong to 9 taxa. Among the legally protected trees recorded in environment white paper, Quercus dentata located in Gwangsan gu Eunnam dong Shinga village must come to correct Quercus liena, Populus nigra var. italica of Byeokjin village of Seo gu Byeokjin dong change to Salix glandulosa and Pinus densiflora of Sukjung dong, Nam gu should be alter into Pinus densiflora for. multicaulis. IPCC make an estimate the mean temperature multiplies best 6.4℃ and sea level of 59 cm rises and is warning that the North Pole glacier may have melted mostly and 95% of bio species on earth may falls at extinction crisis on the late 21th century. If apply IPCC estimate result to evaluate climate change vulnerability through the legally protected trees of Gwangju City, it should be estimated that mean minimum temperature of the coldest month of Gwangju City in the late 21th century result in higher than 3℃ as mean minimum temperature, January in Cheju Island at present. Therefore, it is estimate that the legally protected trees of Cheju Island such as Pinus thunbergii, Celtis sinensis, Aphananthe aspera and a evergreen broadleaf trees will grow up well in Gwangju City area in the late 21th century. The other hand, P. densiflora for. multicaulis and zelkova serrata as the legally protected trees that appear together in Seoul and Gwangju will be estimate by something to expose show vulnerability in region of Gwangju City.
