        In future wearable electronic systems, 3-dimensional (3D) devices have attracted much attention due to their high density integration and low-power functionality. Among 3D devices, gate-all-around (GAA) nanowire transistor provides superior gate controllability, resulting in suppressing short channel effect and other drawbacks in 2D metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET). Silicon nanowires (SiNWs) are the most promising building block for GAA structure device due to their compatibility with the current Si-based ultra large scale integration (ULSI) technology. Moreover, the theoretical limit for subthreshold swing (SS) of MOSFET is 60 mV/dec at room temperature, which causes the increase in Ioff current. To overcome theoretical limit for the SS, it is crucial that research into new types of device concepts should be performed. In our present studies, we have experimentally demonstrated feedback FET (FBFET) and tunnel FET (TFET) with sub-60 mV/dec based on SiNWs. Also, we fabricated SiNW based complementary TFET (c-TFET) and SiNW complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) inverter. Our research demonstrates the promising potential of SiNW electronic devices for future wearable electronic systems.

        학령기 아동의 글씨쓰기 평가도구 개발

        목적 : 본 연구는 학령기 아동의 글씨쓰기를 평가하기 위해 라쉬분석을 활용하여 글씨쓰기 평가도구를 개발 하고, 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 글씨쓰기 평가도구의 개발 과정은 4단계로 진행되었다. 첫 번째 단계에서 문헌 검색을 통해 글 씨쓰기 평가를 위한 예비문항을 수집하였고, 두 번째 단계에서 전문가 조사, 내용타당도 및 문항이해도 조사, 전문가 검증을 통해 17문항의 평가도구 문항을 선정하였다. 세 번째 단계에서 검사 방법 및 점수 화 방법을 구성하였다. 마지막 단계에서 1~6학년 일반 아동 326명의 자료를 수집하였으며, 라쉬분석 결 과를 바탕으로 16문항의 글씨쓰기 평가도구를 개발하였다. 결과 : 첫째, 라쉬분석을 통한 대상자 및 문항 적합도 결과 난이도가 낮은 문장에서 부적합 대상자는 13명, 부적합 문항은 역전과 선의 매끄러운 정도, 난이도가 높은 문장에서 부적합 대상자 11명, 부적합 문항은 선의 매끄러운 정도 문항이었다. 둘째, 글씨쓰기 평가도구의 문항 난이도는 대상자의 능력 평균이 문항 난이도의 평균보다 높고, 가장 어려운 문항은 글자크기의 일관성, 가장 쉬운 문항은 역전 문항이었다. 셋 째, 라쉬분석을 통한 문항 분리신뢰도는 .96~.99로 높은 수준이고, 대상자 분리신뢰도는 .69~.70으로 받아들일 만한 수준이었다. 결론 : 본 연구는 한글의 특성에 맞추어 학령기 아동의 글씨쓰기를 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가도구 개발에 관한 첫 연구라는데 의의가 있다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 학령기 아동의 주요 작업인 글씨쓰기에 대한 평가와 중재에 유용한 자료가 될 것이라 사료된다. Objective: The objectives of the present study were to develop a tool to assess school-aged children’s handwriting using Rasch analysis, testing the tool’s reliability and validity. Methods: The development of the handwriting evaluation tool proceeded in Four steps namely, construction of assessment items, test for construct validity using Rasch analysis, and test for inter-rater reliability. In the first step, Preliminary items for handwriting evaluation were collected through literature search. In the second step, 17 items were constructed through expert survey, content validity survey and expert review. In the third step, In the final step, testing and scoring methods were determined. data were collected from 326 1st–6th grade children and a handwriting evaluation tool consisting of 16 items was developed based on the Rasch analysis results. Results: The following results were obtained. First, regarding subject fit and item fit examined through Rasch analysis, on the sentences of lower difficulty the number of misfit subjects were 13 and misfit items were reverse and the degree to which lines were smooth, while on the sentences of higher difficulty the number of misfit subjects were 11 and misfit item was the degree to which lines were smooth. Second, regarding item difficulty, the average subject ability was higher than the average item difficulty. The most difficult item was consistency in letter size, while the least difficult item was reverse. Third, the item reliability computed in the Rasch analysis was excellent, ranging from .96–.99, and the subject reliability was acceptable with a range of .69–.70. Conclusion: This study is significant since it is the first to develop a tool that takes the unique features of Hangul (Korean alphabet) into account and objectively assesses school-aged children’s handwriting. We believe the study’s findings will be useful for occupational therapists who assess and treat school-aged children’s major task, handwriting.

        Enhancing the Effect of Placental Extract on the Regeneration of Crush Injured Facial Nerve

        There is a scarcity of experimental studies on peripheral nerve regeneration using placental extract (PE). This study aimed to investigate the effects of topical PE application on recovery after crush injury to the rat facial nerve using functional, electrophysiological, and morphological evaluations. The viability of the RSC96 Schwann cells treated with PE (0.5~4 mg/ml) increased significantly. Immunoblot test revealed that PE application en- hanced the migration of RSC96 cells. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction demonstrated that PE increased the expression of neurotropic genes. The recovery from vibrissa fibrillation in the PE-treated group was superior to that in the control group. The threshold of action potential was also significantly lower in the PE group. Histopathological examination showed that crushed facial nerves treated with PE exhibited larger axons. The surrounding myelin sheaths were more distinct and thicker in the PE-treated group. Hence, PE may be considered a topical therapeutic agent for treating traumatic facial nerve paralysis.

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to transcribe the effect of Korean medical treatment on nummular dermatitis with allergic dermatitis.Methods : A 42-year-old man patient suffering from nummular dermatitis with allergic dermatitis was treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, etc. We observed progress of patient with Visual Anologue Scale(VAS) and used comparative observation through camera photographing.Results : After Korean medical treatment, patient's chief complaints with erythema, edema, pruritus, and keratin were significantly declined.Conclusions : Korean medical treatments were an effectual cure for nummular dermatitis with allergic dermatitis.

        고령친화 의료기기의 안전관리방안 연구

        The number of items and the market size of the senior-friendly medical devices are rapidly increasing, and it is necessary to come up with a safety management plan for senior-friendly medical devices. We searched and analyzed the definition and policy of senior-friendly medical device, and classified medical device items of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, calculated market sizes and manufacturing·export·import results by classification, and investigated the current state of senior-friendly industry and the fields of its culture. In order to prepare a safety management plan, we reduce the number of items that need to be managed intensively by extracting 69 items for administration, that are substantially harmful to the elderly. As specific safety management plans of items for administration, we propose plans for introductions of readability-enhanced labeling, QR codes for cautions and manuals, universal design mandatory, UDI code system with considering a balanced viewpoint of the industry development.

        적응모드를 이용한 화면 내 부호화 알고리즘

        H.264/AVC has shown high coding efficiency by using various coding tools, including intra and inter prediction. However, there are still many more redundancy components in intra prediction than in inter prediction. In this paper, a novel intra prediction method is proposed with adaptive mode selection. The combined intra prediction modes and simplified gradient modes are added in order to refine the directional feature and gradation region. Suitable modes are selected according to the neighboring blocks that provide a high compression rate and lower computational complexity. The improvement of the proposed method is 1.96% in terms of the bitrate, 0.25dB in PSNR, and 1.72 times in terms of the computational complexity. H.264/AVC는 화면 내, 화면 간 예측을 포함한 다양한 부호화 기술을 이용, 높은 부호화 성능을 보여준다. 그러나 화면 내 예측은 화면 간 예측에 비해 여전히 많은 부호화 데이터를 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 적응적 모드선택 기술을 포함한 새로운 화면 내 부호화 기술을 제안한다. 인접 모드의 결합을 통한 새로운 부호화 모드와 단순화된 gradient 모드가 추가되면서 세밀한 방향의 특징 및 gradation 영역을 효과적으로 부호화한다. 또한 주변블록을 통해서 적절한 모드를 선택적으로 제공하면서 상대적으로 적은 복잡도와 높은 부호화 성능을 보여준다. 제안한 방법은 1.72배의 복잡도 증가수준에서 1.96%의 비트율 절감 및 0.25 dB의 PSNR 향상을 보여주고 있다.

        부동산경매에서 유치권제도의 문제점과 개선방안에 관한 연구

        The process of real estate auctions proceeded under the Civil Procedure Act has been improved by enforcing the Civil Execution Act which separated out those parts related to civil execution in 2002, resulting in getting rid of those problems such as delay of eviction[dispossession] due to overuse of appeals from the persons concerned. However, there are problems still unresolved, or risks unexpected, even with the enforcement of the Civil Execution Act, which make the general public reluctant to tender for the articles of sale at auction. This will bring about the delay of sale procedure, the reduction of auction price ratio, and the difficulty of withdrawing bond funds, which in turn will lead to innocent victims Especially problematic right is the lien. The lien is publicly announced by occupation, as opposed to other real rights granted by way of security, so if a purchaser tenders for a real estate auction believing court records only, the risks increase because the purchaser should accept secured claims. Both bona-fide creditors and purchasers often suffer losses owing to the lien, so this study tries to present many problems of lien and propose a method for resolving them.
