한국은 환태평양 경제동반자협정에 가입해야 하는가?: 무역효과의 경험적 분석

최근에 미국이 환태평양 경제동반자협정(Trans-Pascific Partnership)을 통해 지속적으로 경제통합과 무역권에 영향을 미치도록 지배하고 있다. 한국은 아직까지 환태평양 동반자협정에 가입을 고려하고 있다. 한편, 중국은 아세안+3에 강한 지지를 보여주며, 아세안+3와 아세안+6에도 협상을 진행 중이다. 한국의 가입이 동아시아 경제통합과 무역권에 큰 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 한국의 다른 무역권 가입에 대한 무역창출 효과에 관한 연구이다. 본 논문은 경험적 연구와 중력모델을 사용하여 1990년부터 2011년까지 한국이 22개국간의 무역자료를 이용해서 다른 무역권에 가입하는 것이 이익인가를 분석한다. In recent years, the US dominated Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) has been continuously expanded to be one of the influencing economic integration and trade blocs in Asia-Pacific. South Korea has also been invited to join the TPP but she is still under consideration. On the other hand, China shows an aggressive support to ASEAN+3 and is already turning its direction on negotiating the ASEAN+3 and/or ASEAN+6. Any step made by South Korea will cast a great impact on the future of East Asian economic integration and trade bloc, and also have the significant influence on the South Korean economy. Therefore, it is very interesting to study and measure the trade creation effects from joining such different trade blocs for South Korea. This is an empirical study and applies the gravity model by using trade data of South Korea with twenty-two trade partners from 1990 to 2011 to identify the benefits from different trade blocs, and to review which direction should be the best for South Korea to join.

The development of a mathematical model for predicting the radiative heat flux on the slab surface and the temperature distribution in the slab is described and preliminary model predictions are presented. By taking account of the radiative heat exchange between the slab and its surroundings in the furnace and the conductive heat transfer in the slab, the model can predict the radiative heat flux on the slab and the temperature distribution in the slab throughout the reheating furnace. The thermal radiation in the furnace and transient conduction in the slab are calculated using the finite volume method. In this work, we firstly investigated how the presence of the skid structure affects heat transfer characteristics and temperature behavior of the slab. And then, heat transfer characteristics and temperature behavior of the slab is investigated by changing such various parameters as furnace charging speed or furnace residence time, and emissivity of slab.
소나무재선충(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)에 대한 몇 가지 한약재 추출물의 살선충 활성

Seventeen species (Artemisia argyi, Areca catechu, Auckulandia lappa, Atractylodes lancea, Cassia obtusifolia, Cyperus rotundus, Carthamus tinctorius, Dryopteris crassirhizoma, Eugenia caryophyllata, Lonicera japonica, Prunus mume, Piper nigrum, Quisqualis indica, Sophora flavescens, Taraxacum mongolicum, Torreya nucifera, and Zanthoxylum piperitum) in 12 families herbal hot and cold water extracts were evaluates to control pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus in laboratory. Among them, hot and cold water extract of A. lancea with concentration of 10 fold showed 100% mean mortality rate against B. xylophilus at 1 day of exposure time in petri dish. With 10 fold concentration of cold water extracts of P. nigrum, Q. indica, S. flavescens and T. mongolicum and hot water extract of C. tinctorius showed 100% mean mortality rate against B. xylophilus at 1 day of exposure time too. Cold water herbal extracts with 1,000 fold concentration killed nematodes, but low efficacy to B. xylophilus. Hot water extract of P. nigrum with 500 fold concentration was the highest efficacy to B. xylophilus.

본 증례는 1년 전부터 갑작스럽게 복부팽만과 복통이 반복하다 내원 10일 전부터 심한 복통과 복부팽만, 구토가 발생하여 내원한 9세 남자 환자이다. 복부 X-선 촬영과 바륨 관장 등의 검사로 S상 결장 염전증을 진단하고 내시경적 염전 정복과 감압술 시도하였으나 실패하였다. 수술 시야에서 심하게 확장되고 비정상적으로 긴 S상 결장과 굵은 혈관이 포함된 결장간막이 관찰되었고 S상 결장의 원위부 및 근위부에서 좁아진 부위를 확인하여 이 부분을 포함한 S상 결장 절제술을 시행하였다. 이후 환자는 5년 동안의 추적관찰에서 증상의 재발이 없었다. Sigmoid volvulus may cause acute or subacute colonic obstruction. Excessive length of the sigmoid colon may be a contributing factor. Typically, the patient develops bilious vomiting and marked gaseous abdominal distension. We report a case of sigmoid volvulus in a 9-year-old boy who presented with recurrent, sudden onset abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and vomiting for 1 year, which was diagnosed by simple abdominal X-ray, barium enema, computed tomography, and colonoscopic examination. Colonoscopic reduction failed and a sigmoid colectomy with primary repair was performed. The intra-operative findings showed that the sigmoid colon was noted to be dilated, and redundant with a lax mesentery. Two clear areas of compression (proximal and distal) were present. After sigmoidectomy, the symptoms resolved. After 5 years of follow-up, he had no new symptoms.

Recently, one of countermeasures against aging SOC infrastructures, performance-focused management including the serviceability, functionality, durability, and economics has been changed from the structural safety-focused evaluation has changed into The current inspection and diagnosis for the major SOC facilities in Korea has been carried out by the specific principle of details, and most of them checked by the visual inspection are focused on the repair and rehabilitation of the damaged structures, thus they are the preventive maintenance. However, the performance-focused management should be replaced for the effective and economic maintenance as wells as for the minimization of the damage. In this regard, this study the appropriacy of the current evaluation items about the concrete retaining wall, one of SOC infrastructures as the previous step forward the performance-focused management. In order to deduct the effective evaluation items in order, the entropy, analytic hierachy process (AHP), and promethee analysis were peformed and the results were compared and discussed.
