경마는 매출액 7.7조 원, 입장객 1,500만 명의 국내 최대 사행산업이지만 사행산업통합감독위원회의 규제로 정체상태를 맞고 있다. 그러나 경마는 수십만 평의 부지의 경마장과 목장이라는 인프라를 갖추고 있어 이를 잘 활용하여 경마관광 활성화를 추진하면 경마가 다시 부흥할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 한국마사회는 경마혁신대책을 세워 경쟁력을 키우고, 넓은 부지의 경마장 테마파크화 사업을 추진하고 있다. 단조로운 경마를 재미있게 변화시켜 경마장을 많은 사람들이 찾는 경마관광명소화를 시키고 경마관광활성화를 위한 여러 사업을 발굴하여 변신을 시도하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 경마관광활성화를 위해 필요한 여러 사업 방안을 발굴하고 사업의 우선순위를 AHP방법론을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 경마관광활성화를 위해서는 경마경기를 이용한 관광상품개발이 0.238로 경마관광활성화에 가장 필요한 항목으로 평가되었으며, 경마관광 인프라구축은 0.186, 경마관광정책지원강화는 0.182, 홍보 및 마케팅강화는 0173, 경마관광상품 가격 및 판매채널의 다양화는 0.118, 말을 이용한 경마관광프로그램 개발은 0.103으로 우선순위가 평가되었다. 세부적으로는 단순한 경마를 지양하여 경마와 스포츠마케팅을 접목한 이벤트 개발, 쉽고 재미있고 건전한 베팅의 다양화 유도, 재미있고 색다른 경마진행 방식개발이 필요함을 제시하였으며 이렇게 개발된 상품에 대해 홍보 및 마케팅 강화를 위해 인터넷/모바일 마케팅, 소셜마케팅을 강화하여 널리 홍보할 필요성도 제시되었다. 또한 경마관광 인프라 구축을 강화하여 관광시설 현대화하고 경마위주의 시설을 테마파크 설치하는 등의 변신과, 관광 상품 판매채널의 다양화함으로써 경마관광활성화 방안의 우선순위를 제시하였다. 표면파 기법에 의한 콘크리트 사방댐의 콘크리트 강도 등급 평가

산지계곡부의 토석류 유출을 저지하는 콘크리트 사방댐은 콘크리트의 재료 및 시공 불량, 콘크리트의 열화로 인한 내구성 저하, 국부적으로 발생한 균열 등의 이유로 인하여 사방댐의 일부 또는 전체 구조물이 붕괴되어 그 기능을 손실하는 경우가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 콘크리트 사방댐의 구조적 문제점과 안전성을 파악하여 사전 에 대책을 강구하고 효율적인 유지관리를 할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 그 방안은 콘크리트 사방댐 구조물의 콘 크리트 압축강도를 비파괴적으로 평가하여 품질등급을 평가하는 것으로, 등급평가 단계에서 비파괴 콘크리트 압축강 도 평가를 위해 SASW 기법이라고 하는 표면파 기법을 도입하였다. 또한 SASW 기법을 콘크리트 사방댐의 안정성 평가에 활용할 수 있도록 SASW 시험의 현장적용방안, 콘크리트 결함에 따른 자료분석 기법, 평가기준에 대한 제안 등에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 제안된 기법의 적용성과 신뢰성을 평가하기 위하여, 20년 이상 경과된 노후 콘크리트 사방댐 5곳에 제안된 표면파 기법의 적용방안을 적용하여 보았다. 그 결과 콘크리트 사방댐의 여러 가지 콘크리트 결함에 대해서도 SASW 기법에 의한 품질평가는 신뢰성 있게 수행될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 본 연구에서 제 안한 품질등급 평가 결과는 사방협회에서 실시한 사방댐 점검결과와 일치하는 결과를 제시하였다. The proposed integrity assessment technique is a non-destructive method based on SASW method, one of surface-wave tests. In this paper, a practical procedure and analysis guidelines in applying the SASW technique to debris barrier was proposed and its validity was verified using five decrepit debris barriers older than 20-year old. As a result, the SASW method was validated for the reliable grade evaluation method for concrete soil erosion control dam, and the resulting grades turned out to agree with the results determined by Sabang Associations.

Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is defined as the onset of acute heart failure without demonstrable cause during the last trimester of pregnancy or within the first 6 months after delivery, which may have devastating consequences upon maternal and fetal outcome. PPCM is often unrecognized as symptoms of normal pregnancy commonly mimic those of mild heart failure but can rapidly progress to cardiac failure. We experienced a shock patient who had cardiac arrest during surgery for emergency cesarean section and the diagnosis of PPCM was made postoperatively. Her postoperative course was complicated by an embolic stroke four months after delivery. We suggest that close peripartum monitoring is essential in the management of PPCM. Thromboembolic complication as a major risk should be considered.

Q-T prolongation represents delayed ventricular repolarization. Torsades de Pointes is another form of ventricular tachyarrhythmia assoicated with Q-T prolongstion, that may occur either in the idiopathic form or in the acquired form. We report one case of $quot;Torsades de pointes$quot;, The patient is 26-year-old female, who experenced palpitation, dyspnea and syncopal episodes during peripatal period. The EKG showing typical episodes of Torsades de Pointes with Q - T prolongation. Propranolol and diltiazem were given, Torsades de Pointes did not recur. The patient was discharged with diltiazem with improved condition.
