Silver coated copper composite powders were prepared by electroless plating method by controlling the activation and deposition process variables such as feeding rate of silver ions solution, concentration of reductant and molar ratio of activation solution $(NH_4OH/(NH_4)_2SO_4)$ at room temperature. The characteristics of the product were verified by using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic absorption (A.A.). It is noted that completely cleansing the copper oxide layers and protecting the copper particles surface from hydrolysis were important to obtain high quality Ag-Cu composite powders. The optimum conditions of Ag-Cu composite powder synthesis were $NH_4OH/(NH_4)_2SO_4$ molar ratio 4, concentration of reductant 15g/l and feeding rate of silver ions solution 2 ml/min.

In these days, the dental market is facing a very difficult management situation for small and medium-sized dental clinics due to overheated competition. Government tries to expand and promote the coverage of non-benefit care and preventive care. In this preventive care area, periodontal disease is ranked as a high frequent disease. Dental clinics will have to come up with a new management strategy to suit this situation. This study therefore conducts analysis of the operational feasibility and strategic plan of the dental prevention center. We use an economic evaluation analysis for three dental clinics currently operating dental prevention centers. First, we itemize benefit and cost field by reviewing literatures and clinic’s second data; Benefit consists of medical profit and others; Cost consists of 1) Labor cost (dentist, dental hygienist, others), 2) Material cost (material medica, medical devices, others), and 3) Maintenance cost. Next, we perform an economic evaluation analysis based on estimated benefit and cost values. There are lots of economic evaluation indicators, but this study selects benefit and cost, net present value, and internal rate of return. The results of the three dental clinics’ dental prevention centers’ B/C, NPV, and IRR all exceed the standard values, indicating economic feasibility; (B/C≧1, NPV≧0, IRR≧R). In detail, A dental clinic’s result shows that B/C=3.07, NPV=1,988,233,000, IRR=95.0%; B dental clinic’s result shows that B/C=2.90, NPV=1,589,604,000, IRR=88.4%; C dental clinic’s result shows that B/C=3.15, NPV=1,494,247,000, IRR=96.4%. Also, IRR value has an more effect to small clinic than bigger one. The Dental Prevention Center could be suggested as a strategic plan to provide a competitive advantage to the dental clinics that struggling as well as the dental clinics newly entering the market in the future.
IoT기반 철도 화차 안전운송 통합 품질관리시스템에 관한 경제성 평가지표 분석

Purpose: The objective of this study is to verify the economic validation of quality management integrated train freight car by analyzing economic evaluation indicators such as benefit and cost, net present value, and inter rate of return. Methods: First, we itemize benefit and cost field by reviewing literatures; Benefit consists of 1)Safety, 2)Operation, and 3)Maintenance; Cost consists of 1)Set-up fee, 2)Wireless internet fee, and 3)Cloud storage using fee. Second, based on these estimated values, we conduct an economic evaluation analysis. Among them, benefit and cost, net present value, and internal rate of return are selected. Results: As a result, all estimated values are highly over criterion of economic validity(B/C?1, NPV?0, IRR? R); 1)benefit over cost ratio is 28.22, 2)Net present value is 8,121.66million KRW, and 3)Internal rate of return value is 2272%. Conclusion: The findings of this study will help making a decision when train industry adopts IoT technology for improving the effectiveness.
임펄스 가진에 의한 근해역 통합채광시험 양광시스템의 파이프 동적 과도응답 해석

본 논문에서는 극한 해상상태나 돌발적인 환경하중에서 양광시스템의 진수와 인양이 이루어질 때 발생할 수 있는 파이프의 점핑현상과 이에 의해 유발되는 파이프의 장력변화 및 위해도를 위한 해석기법을 제시하였다. 동적 과도응답 해석은 본 논문에서 제시된 기법에 의하여 여러 가지 형식의 임펄스에 대해 수행되어졌으며, 해석을 위한 모델로 KT-Submarine에서 사용하고 있는 '세계로호' 양광시스템의 진수, 인양 시스템을 선정하였다. 결과적으로 양광시스템관련 해상작업을 위한 지침이 제시되었다. 정성적인 해석기법의 검증과 비교를 위하여 ROV진수 시 발생 가능한 케이블장력 과도응답을 해석하였으며 이를 통하여, 본 연구에서 시도한 수학적 모델링과 이상화된 임펄스에 대한 파이프의 과도 응답과정이 충분한 정성적인 기초자료를 제공해 줄 수 있다는 점을 파악하였다. A finite element analysis scheme is proposed to assess the dynamic response due to impulse excitation of ocean mining pipe system. Transient dynamic response analysis based on the proposed scheme was carried out for various types of impulses, and the magnitude of cable tension induced by impulse was discussed by using a model of 'Segero', a special purpose ship of KT-Submarine as well as ROV carrier 'Onnuri' A qualitative, prospective guideline for the relevant marine operation is obtained.

CO₂ emission from burning fossil fuels has been identified as the major contributor to the increase in atmospheric CO₂ levels that can potentially lead to global climate change. In the last decade, there has been worldwide concern on possible global warming caused by heat being trapped by CO₂ in the upper atmosphere (the green-house effect). Allover the world, there is a growing tendency to exploit clean energy as well as to control fossil fuels for the sake of diminishing the gases that cause the greenhouse effect. However, to satisfy the regulations that have become strengthened for the gas reduction, it is necessary to sequestrate as well as to capture and collect carbon dioxide. In general, storage sites for carbon dioxide can be divided into two categories: geological sites and deep ocean. In this paper, sequestration methods in geological strata will be discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to lay groundwork for future research on the outcomes of national quality awards for secondary-care healthcare organizations. Methods: For this study, a secondary-care hospital was selected through a convenience sampling method and all of its organizational members participated in complete enumeration survey using 109 survey questions derived from the MBNQA criteria for healthcare through structural equation modeling (SEM) Results: As a result, Leadership was shown to drive Foundation and Direction, which affect System that creates Results with 12 hypotheses supported out of 18 hypotheses established. Conclusion: The findings of this study will provide valuable implications to the top management of secondary- care hospitals for self-examining quality management and promoting sustainable competitiveness.

The development of lifting pumps that lift minerals to a mining vessel are one of the vital parts of the commercial mining process. Lifting pumps with a high total head are needed as lifting pumps transfer minerals from the deep sea to a waiting vessel. Accordingly, when we designed the lifting pumps we needed to design the centrifugal pump with a high total head. However, that kind of pump has a small specific speed and it created a small passageway, so they had a problem transferring the minerals. Therefore, we designed a mixed flow pump which has a wider passage way for minerals to flow. Technology to design the pump requires a lot of experience, so more research into how the pump operates is necessary. In this research, I examined the internal flow of the pump by CFD to gather basic information for developing the pump's performance.
